On the new season of “Westworld”: “It’s a natural evolution from where we were,” she says animatedly. “It just gets richer and richer because the writers have known what they’re going to do for five seasons. I don’t know what happens from episode to episode. This season was such a gift for everybody. I’m so admiring of everyone involved. We have such earnest respect for each other. We’ve grown as people.”
On her role as Maeve in “Westworld”: “It’s the best role. The perspective she has [as a robot] and what that, as an audience, allows us to consider… What makes her strong are the things she’s copied or learnt from a human being. She’s cherry-picked the things she wants to keep. It’s really great this season. We have such good directors. We have eight episodes and five are directed by women. I’ve worked with so many women over the past 12 months.”
On fashion: “I love dressing up. I love a beautiful gown because it’s a piece of art. I love color.”
On being optimistic: “We’re seeing beautiful things happen in the world that are completely counter to the shi**y things. People are so tender. All the negative sides of being terrified… on the flip side, look at our creativity, our courage. We have to keep looking at those things. Because a lot of the time, it’s where we choose to look.”

#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Says Kandi Burruss Should Stop Running from Phaedra Parks!
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss had a nasty fallout with Phaedra Parks. It was eventually revealed that Phaedra was the person who told Porsha Williams that Kandi and Todd Tucker wanted to drug her. Then they wanted to have their way with her in their “s*x dungeon.”
This is why Phaedra is no longer on the show.
But that hasn’t stopped some fans from wanting her to return. However, Kandi made it clear that this won’t happen on her watch. And she will quit the show if Phaedra is ever brought back.
Interestingly enough, NeNe Leakes recently had something to say about this. She called Kandi out during a recent YouTube Live session. And she said Kandi needs to stop running from Phaedra. And if Kandi really cares about the success of RHOA, she’d want Phaedra back on the show.
Kandi Burruss has made it clear how she feels about Phaedra Parks. She wants nothing to do with her. And if she ever comes back, Kandi says she will quit “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
This is one of the main reasons why Phaedra has not been asked back.
And NeNe Leakes is over it. During a YouTube Live session, NeNe said Phaedra should be able to come back since Kandi enjoys watching everyone else beef on the show. In NeNe’s opinion, Kandi needs to stop running from Phaedra. Phaedra brought a lot to the show, and the show would be performing much better if Phaedra was back.
NeNe also believes Kandi enjoys seeing her go back and forth with Kenya Moore, but she refuses to go toe to toe with Phaedra on RHOA. And NeNe thinks this is very hypocritical of Kandi.
She also said it’s hypocritical for Kandi to tell the other women to not drag Kenya for her strained marriage when Kenya has been critical of everyone else’s marriages. NeNe said Kenya dragged Porsha, Phaedra, and Kim Fields about their marriages. She even called Kim’s husband gay. NeNe also said Kenya accused Porsha of just being Kordell Stewart’s beard.
And she had things to say about Christopher Williams’ marriage. And as of late, Kenya was critical of Tanya Sam’s relationship as well. So why should Kenya get a pass?
As far as Kenya’s threats about the reunion, NeNe is ready. And she’s not going to back down.

#MusicNews: John Legend Livestreams Coronavirus Concert From Home!
John Legend is entertaining fans in the midst of the coronavirus shutdown.
The EGOT winner hosted his first “Together, At Home” concert on Instagram Live from his house on Tuesday afternoon. Legend was inspired by his pal, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who hosted his own livestreamed concert the day before.
He opened the show while seated at the piano, performing hits like “Stay With You,” “Everybody Knows,” and his latest single “Conversations in the Dark” as over 100,000 viewers tuned in. His daughter Luna and wife Chrissy Teigen eventually joined the party, wearing just a turban on her head and a towel around her body.
In addition to performing his piano part from Lauryn Hill’s “Everything Is Everything,” Legend covered “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Office” theme song, as well as the theme from Bravo’s reality show “Vanderpump Rules.” He closed with his ballad “All of Me,” which was inspired by his wife.
At one point during the hour-long stream, he announced that he will release a new album this year. “Everybody’s home. You need stuff, you need music, you need TV, you need films, you need films to entertain you. So I am going to put some music out, OK?” he said.
He also debuted a brand new song off the project called “Actions Speak Louder Than Love Songs,” which samples David McCallum’s “The Edge,” which Dr. Dre famously sampled on “The Next Episode.”
Legend ended by promoting several organizations to help others deal with the coronavirus pandemic. “We gotta love each other. We gotta take care of each other. We gotta help each other. Try not to be selfish,” he said.

Joe Biden swept the Arizona, Florida and Illinois primaries Tuesday, taking a long stride toward clinching the Democratic nomination on an extraordinary election day shadowed by growing fears of the coronavirus pandemic.
The former vice president prevailed over Bernie Sanders in convincing fashion, forging a now-familiar coalition of party moderates, older and pragmatic voters as well as African Americans, who once more supported Biden in landslide numbers.
It takes 1,991 delegates to win the nomination at the party’s summer convention, and Biden’s powerful showing Tuesday pushed him past 1,100, lengthening his already sizable lead over Sanders and leaving Vermont’s senator with only the faintest hopes of a comeback.
He immediately faced renewed calls to step aside in the interest of party unity, the urgency heightened by the nation’s growing sense of crisis.
The threat posed by the novel coronavirus, which has touched every American, provided a frightening backdrop for an election day unlike any other.
Ohio postponed its primary hours before the polls were set to open after the state’s health director, acting at the behest of Gov. Mike DeWine, declared a public health emergency.
Where voting was underway, election official worked to balance safety with business as usual.
In Illinois, Cook County Clerk Karen Yarbrough urged poll workers to use painter’s tape to mark the floor in 6-foot increments, so those in line would stand far enough apart to avoid spreading the virus. “This picture can save lives,” she said in how-to instructions posted on Twitter.
Still, there were reports of missing disinfecting supplies, shuttered voting centers that were supposed to be open and other mishaps across the three states.
The crisis atmosphere seemed to benefit Biden, who has based much of his candidacy on his decades of Washington experience, including eight years in the White House as vice president under Barack Obama. In all three primaries, voters overwhelmingly said they trusted Biden more than Sanders to handle a major crisis, according to exit poll interviews.
Claiming victory Tuesday night, Biden appeared solo and struck a somber tone, devoting the bulk of his brief remarks to the pandemic. He praised those on the front lines fighting the virus and, forsaking the usual harsh partisan rhetoric, called for Americans to pull together and help one another.
Speaking from his home in Wilmington, Del., with a pair of furled American flags as his backdrop, Biden once more extended his hand to supporters of Sanders, praising their tenacity, and vowing to work on shared interests: expanding the availability of healthcare, addressing income inequality, fighting climate change.
Turning in particular to younger voters, Sanders’ strongest supporters and those most resistant to his candidacy, Biden said, “I hear you. I know what’s at stake. I know what we have to do. Our goal as a campaign and my goal as a candidate for president is to unify this party, and then to unify the nation.”
For the second week in a row, after another dispiriting performance, Sanders did not address the results in public. Before the polls closed, he spoke via livestream from his campaign office in Washington, where he, too, focused on the worsening coronavirus outbreak.
“In this moment of crisis, it is imperative that we stand together,” Sanders said.
Of the day’s political contests, Biden posted the most important victory in Florida, a perennial November battleground, where his commanding win surpassed the showing last month in South Carolina that launched his campaign’s resurrection.
The outcome was not unexpected. Among other things, Sanders antagonized the state’s large Cuban population with favorable comments about some of the late dictator Fidel Castro’s programs.
Still, Biden’s victory was striking in its magnitude. He rolled up winning margins among black and white voters, men and women, and those with and without college degrees; he even narrowly bested Sanders among the senator’s usual base of self-described “very liberal” voters.

Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington are giving fans an early treat. The stars revealed on Instagram on Tuesday (March 17) that their series, Little Fires Everywhere, was released early – and the first three episodes of the drama are available now to watch on Hulu.
The news comes after the premiere was canceled amid coronavirus fears last week.

It’s trade season in the NFL, and shocking announcements are being made regarding a few star players. Longtime New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady recently announced that he was leaving his team, and fans may see the same result with Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton.

Taye Diggs Says 'The Best Man' Television Show Is On Tap To Go!
Fans may have started losing hope for a third installment of The Best Man, but Taye Diggs is here to revive it.
During a recent appearance on CBS' The Talk, Diggs revealed that a three-quel is still being discussed — though it might land up on the small screen.
“I do think it will happen," Diggs told the hosts. "We’ve all been in discussions with the director Malcolm Lee. I think it might end up being a TV series, maybe on a streaming platform. But the script has already been written, so we’ll see.”
The Best Man, starring Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Nia Long, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Harold Perrineau, and Monica Calhoun, hit theaters in 1999 and remains a classic. The sequel, The Best Man Holiday, came out in 2013 and was a box office success with a $70 million gross. At the time, Universal announced the third installment, rumored to be called Best Man Wedding, would be released in 2016. But last year, Malcolm Lee revealed it had been stalled due to scheduling conflicts and creative differences between him and the studio.

The 2020 Met Gala Has Been POSTPONED!
One of the biggest nights in the fashion world, the Met Gala, has officially been postponed.
Schedule to take place May 4, the Met Gala has decided to follow the current trend of canceling major events to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Friday, the Metropolitan Museum announced it was temporarily shutting its doors, which caused speculation that the gala’s organizers would call for the cancellation of the event.
Chairwoman Anna Wintour confirmed on Vogue.com that the fundraiser would not be held as planned.
“Due to the unavoidable and responsible decision by the Metropolitan Museum to close its doors, About Time, and the opening night gala will be postponed to a later date,” she said.
The annually held red carpet event, hosted by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, is a celebrity fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year’s theme, “About Time: Fashion and Duration,” sponsored by French fashion house and luxury retail company Louis Vuitton, dubbed the event as a journey through the history of fashion from 1870 to the present.
Wintour added that the magazine would nonetheless be previewing the “extraordinary exhibition” in its May issue.
In a statement released to CNN, a museum spokesperson wrote: “The Museum will remain closed through Saturday, April 4. Additionally, the CDC advised over the weekend that there should not be any gatherings of 50 people or more for the next eight weeks. In deference to this guidance, all programs and events through May 15 will be canceled or postponed.”
Elsewhere, Wintour also slammed Trump for his response to the pandemic and endorsed Joe Biden for president.
“I, like so many of us, have been appalled by how he has responded to the pandemic,” Wintour said.
“The optimistic and fact-free assurances that all will be fine, the chaotic implementation of travel bans and claims about a ‘foreign virus,’ the narcissistic ease with which he has passed the blame to others, his dishonesty with the American people, and worst of all, his shocking lack of empathy and compassion for those who are suffering and fearful,” Wintour wrote, listing Trump’s mistakes. She added that “his administration has been unforgivably slow to provide testing, and to mobilize treatment to all who will need it.”

Here’s what we know so far: The coronavirus does not discriminate based on status, wealth or economic status. Idris Elba is the latest celebrity to show us this fact after he announced on Twitter Monday that he had been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
Idris shared that he was exposed to someone who had also tested positive, which prompted him to get tested. Though he does not have any symptoms so far, Elba and his wife (who also appears in the video) are in quarantine in his U.K. home to limit exposing others to the virus.

Amanda Bynes Announces Pregnancy While Receiving Treatment at Psych Facility!
Amanda Bynes is pregnant with her first child and excited about what the future holds, however the star is also currently receiving treatment in a psychiatric facility and her family is worried about the extra stress a pregnancy could add to the situation.
A message from Bynes' Instagram account was posted Tuesday night to her 400,000 followers announcing that she was expecting a baby. "Baby on board!" the message read alongside a photo of a sonogram. The sonogram was dated March 17 and had Bynes' name at the top of the photo.
Sources familiar with the situation says the former "All That" star is indeed pregnant, and that her family only recently found out. We're told she is "weeks along," and had allegedly been trying for a child with her fiance, Paul Michael. As for her reaction to the situation, we're told Bynes was very excited and looking forward to raising a baby. However, there is much more at play going on, as the star is also currently receiving treatment after being ordered by the court in connection with her conservatorship.
We're told Bynes is currently on lockdown in a psychiatric facility in Pasadena, where she will be receiving live-in treatment for at least 30 days.
As we previously reported, Bynes' family, and her fiance, attended a court hearing on the current state of the "All That" star's mental health. After the private meeting was held, the court thought it was in Bynes' best interest to check into a psychiatric facility for a month of treatment. Bynes originally agreed to go, but then showed hesitation and took off.
She eventually made the right decision and entered treatment, but the pregnancy has added another stressor to the situation and we're told those closest to the star are seriously worried about how the pregnancy could affect her mental state.
Brother Of Manchester Bomber Found Guilty Of Killing 22 At Ariana Grande Concert!
The brother of the Manchester Arena bomber has been found guilty of the murder of 22 people.
Back in 2017, Salman Abedi killed 22 people, along with himself, and wounded more than 100 people when he set off a bomb outside of Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, England. Salman was convicted of 22 counts of murder, one count of attempted murder encompassing the remaining injured, and one count of conspiring to cause explosions.
The last count includes his younger brother, Hashem Abedi, who worked as Salman’s accomplice. Abedi’s sentencing hearing has been postponed until a later date so that the victims’ families can attend. MSN reports that the judge will also collect victim impact statements.
Britain’s director of public prosecutions, Max Hill, said Abedi had “blood on his hands.” “Hashem Abedi encouraged and helped his brother, knowing that Salman Abedi planned to commit an atrocity. He has blood on his hands even if he didn’t detonate the bomb.” He continued: “My thoughts are with the families of those who died and the hundreds of survivors. We should remember the 22 lives lost and those around the country whose lives have been changed forever.”
At the time of the attack, Abedi was in Libya and was the first suspect to be successfully extradited to Britain when he was delivered back to the U.K. in July 2019, Reuters reports.
