Hugh Jackman Talks to Entertainment Weekly about saying Goodbye to Wolverine (Logan)
Hugh Jackman’s ninth movie as the gruff and rough mutant from the north, began as a conversation between him and director James Mangold on the set of 2013’s The Wolverine: If there were to be another sequel, it had to be something smaller, something darker.
And that’s the film they made. Logan is unlike any other X-Men movie. It’s dark and dreary and — if Jackman is to be believed — the last time we’ll see his Wolverine on screen.
On the eve of Jackman’s final cut, EW sat down with the actor, who’s had the longest stint as a superhero than anyone before him, to talk about his year wearing the adamantium claws and why this movie was the one with which to say goodbye.
After eight movies, Jackman was having a hard time finding a reason to return. What was there to say about a rapid-healing, 150-year-old mutant? He kept coming back to his conversation with Mangold. What did one last Wolverine movie look like? The pair had several movie references—e.g., The Wrestler, Shane—but only one true touchstone: Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven.

New Music from Johnny Gill – 5000 Miles Feat. Jaheim
Johnny Gill teams with Jaheim for “5000 Miles,” a sultry mid-tempo gem that has both men spreading heartfelt lyrics and melodies about an incredible love.
This is not just any woman; she is damn near perfection because she takes them “5000 miles past heaven.”
The record was originally featured on Gill’s 2014 album, Game Changer, but the new release, featuring fellow crooner Jaheim, lifts the song to new heights.
The single comes on the heels of New Edition’s biopic on BET, which is helping to revive the careers of all the members.
Gill, along with Fantasia, is currently touring with Charlie Wilson on his ‘In It To Win It Tour.’

Is Beyoncé & Jay Z Eyeing Spelling Mansion In L.A.?
From the concrete jungle where dreams are made of to the city of stars. Beyoncé and Jay Z are reportedly looking to move into one of Los Angeles’ most lavish estates.
The New York-based couple reportedly went on a private viewing of the famed Spelling Manor, a 57,000 square-foot French chateau-style pad in L.A.’s Holmby Hills, which was built by late television producer Aaron Spelling and his wife Candy in 1991, according to PEOPLE.
Following her husband’s passing, Candy listed the home for $150 million in 2009. Sharing photos of the estate’s interiors, she revealed its extravagant features, including a bowling alley, wine cellar, library, gymnasium, doll room, screening room, and three gift-wrapping rooms. The home also apparently includes a five-acre backyard, featuring tennis courts and a swimming pool.
“This house is the equivalent of a mid-sized hotel,” Spelling said at one time. “It’s a lot of work…I have wonderful memories here, but I feel like it’s a new chapter in my life — and it’s just me in this big house!”

Back in Jan this year, First by Jenna Hargar Bush who asked Pharrell about his nomination for Hidden Fences…. And then by presenter Micheal Keaton who also called the film Hidden Fences while announcing Octavia Spencer’s nomination.
The 2017 Oscar nominee hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend and may as well have taken home the award for best monologue.
“It’s a dream come true to be here,” she began. “No, really. I’ve spent the last four months of my life at awards shows, doing interviews and walking red carpets, so this is my first real night out … of my Spanx. I’m just kidding — I’m still wearing Spanx. And by the way, did y’all watch the Oscars? I mean, how insane was that? How crazy was it that I didn’t win?”
“I mean, I get it, I get it,” Spencer said. “There were three black movies at the Oscars this year and that’s a lot for Americans.”
“So,” she went on, “if you’re gonna get confused anyway, I thought I might as well make some money off it. So, that’s why I produced Hidden Fence-light. It’s the story of three black women who send an introspective gay boy to build a fence on the moon.”

A big congratulations goes out to Grammy-winning recording artist, Tasha Cobbs. The “Break Every Chain” songstress shocked the world with her surprise wedding over the weekend to music Producer, Kenneth Leonard.
The two exchanged vows in front of a small group of family and friends, who originally thought they were attending a private dinner party. Although the event was a shock for many, Tasha Cobb says the ceremony has been in the works for quite some time now. “After a year of pre-marital counseling and much planning, the timing was finally perfect. It was incredible to be able to surprise those closest to us!”
We would like to wish the new happy couple continued success as they embark on their journey of marital bliss.
Bobby Brown Launches Bobbi Kristina Serenity House Website Against Domestic Violence
Bobby Brown celebrated the 24th birthday of his late daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, by launching the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House website.
The purpose of the site is to educate the community about the cycle of domestic violence, provide outreach services to identify women and children in need of these services, and provide a 24-hour crisis line to provide crisis intervention and referrals for domestic violence victims.
The site also includes an auction page with items autographed by Bobby Brown. All proceeds will benefit the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House.
Bobby also took to social media to share photos beautiful photos of Bobbi Kris and celebrate her life.
Happy Birthday, Bobbi Kristina.

'Logan' Dominates Box Office for Opening Weekend!
Hugh Jackman‘s Logan arrived in theaters this weekend, and the numbers have come in!
The film made a whopping $85,300,000 this weekend, making the movie the biggest opening of the year so far! In addition, the film made $237.8 million globally.
Next up was Jordan Peele‘s Get Out, which made $26,110,695 in its second weekend at the box office.
The Shack also opened this weekend and brought in $16,100,000, with The Lego Batman Movie slightly behind at $11,650,000.
Rounding out the top five was Zoey Deutch‘s Before I Fall, which brought in $4,948,538 during its opening weekend.
