The flawless actress chats about how she has stayed in the game so long, how she doesn't look a day over 25 and she dishes deets on launching her own beauty YouTube series. Below are the highlights:
On how she has maintained longevity in Hollywood:
“Well I have to start with God first; and I believe that this is something that I was meant to do. This was my purpose, this is my purpose; and when you are living in your true purpose there is almost nothing you can do to mess it up! So let’s start with that, right? And by recognizing that this is my purpose I listen to my spirit, I follow my heart because I believe that those ideas were truly put in my heart because it is my calling, and I just don’t ignore my calling.”
On how she stays looking so youthful:
“The reason I’ve been able to appear youthful so many years is because my grandfather is 106 years old…I really appreciate you noticing that, but I have to say I have really wonderful genes and I’m gonna hold that youthfulness and try to carry it to the end…”
On how she started her YouTube tutorials:
“I never really considered myself the face of the movement I just do what I do and I live in my own truth. The truth of myself is that I love short, versatile hair. One thing I’ve learned about being a Black Woman is that we are so versatile, we’re versatile in so many ways… and with our hair and it’s a way we get to express ourselves with so may styles…On my YouTube channel that came about almost by accident…I was working on a talk series called Exhale for Esquire Network and I met Angela Burt Murray; and I showed her a video I shot in my bathroom when I was living in New Jersey…she was like well what are you doing with this video? And I was like ‘nothing’ and she said we should do something with this…she and I started doing these tutorials which as you know are wildly popular. On YouTube their the number two category is beauty tutorials, right after gaming…I had no idea what a huge following this would be so it sort of circles back to what my calling is…it’s another thing I have an affinity for…so again, I get to do what I love!”

If you are a member of Team Twirl and live for Kenya Moore, then you need to enter the contest that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is holding for her fans. Everyone who watches the show knows that Kenya has been working on her home for a long time. Now one lucky fan can visit Moore Manor.
Yeah, that’s right, Kenya is actually inviting random people into her house. As cool as that is for a super fan, that doesn’t seem like a good move to make these days when so many celebs and reality stars are having issues with their fans taking their access to them too far.
For anyone who is interested in taking a tour of Moore Manor, Kenya posted the details about her contest on her Instagram page. If you’re free on November 6 and you follow Kenya on Instagram, then you might as well enter for a chance to tour the Manor. All you have to do is follow her, tag five friends in a post, and give a shout out to your city. That’s simple enough.
Along with the graphic, Kenya also shared more details about her contest and it actually includes a lot more than the house tour. Kenya wrote, “Hey #teamtwirl win an exclusive trip (airfare, hotel, transportation to and from Moore Manor, and $100 total per diem included) for one person 21 or older to Atlanta, GA for a private tour of #mooremanor”
I’m just hoping that the outcome of this contest is shown on Real Housewives of Atlanta because I would love to see who turns up for this one.

Are Serayah and Romeo Miller taking their new on screen chemistry off screen? She pretty much just shut down any chance that it could be true. After she was spotted out on what looked like a dinner date (below) with the "Growing Up Hip Hop" star who joined the "Empire" cast this season as Teyana's new boo, 'Gram', we asked what was up.

New Music Video: Anthony Hamilton – Ever Seen Heaven
Anthony Hamilton comes through with a new visual for fans, spreading love and romance, while on an island trip in the video for “Ever Seen Heaven.”
According to the press release, Hamilton chose to film the visual for this song, off his latest album What I’m Feelin’, by the ocean to depict the purest form of love between himself and his female companion.
In addition to premiering the new music video, Anthony Hamilton also received a nomination for “Best R&B/Soul Male Artist” at the upcoming 2016 Soul Train Awards.
Earlier this month, the R&B crooner embarked on his second tour of the year with support from Eric Benét and Lalah Hathaway.

Stevie J Released From Rehab To Appear In $1.1 Million Child Support Case
He’s a free man! Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Stevie J (real name Steven Jordan) has been released from drug rehab, in order to address his $1.1 million federal child support case. According to Bossip,
"A judge has ordered the producer turned reality star out of cocaine rehab and back to court next week for a hearing where he’ll admit his guilt in the case instead of going to trial."
"“It is hereby ordered that the conditions of the defendant’s bail are hereby modified to permit him to leave the inpatient drug treatment program to which he is currently admitted for the purpose of appearing before this court for the change of plea proceeding,” Judge Paul Crotty wrote in court papers, obtained by BOSSIP."
"The feds accused Stevie of not paying the court-ordered $8,557 a month for his son and daughter for several years, and as of 2014, they said he owed $1,107,412. He pled innocence, and has been out on bail since last year."
"Stevie has told BOSSIP the case was “bulls**t,” insisting he was a good father to the kids and provided them with everything they need. But recently, prosecutors said he repeatedly violated the terms of his bail by testing positive for drugs. The “Mo Money Mo Problems” producer later admitted to reporters that he sniffed cocaine twice earlier this year."

Lord & Taylor Selling ‘Funny’ Christmas Sweaters Designed by Whoopi Goldberg: ‘You Can’t Call Them Ugly’
Who knew Whoopi Goldberg was into fashion design.
The actress and co-host on “The View” has collaborated with retailer Lord & Taylor for a collection of Christmas sweaters designed entirely by the Whoopster, herself.
The exclusive collection of wool, cashmere and alpaca sweaters (featuring both white and black Santas, a Christmas tree with a Charlie Brown complex and an octopus/menora hybrid) will be available for $139 each beginning on Nov. 1.
Although the pieces fall into “ugly Christmas sweater” genre of holiday fashion, Goldberg prefers to call her nine-piece collection “funny sweaters,” each with a splash of Whoopi’s deliberately quirky fashion sense.
Goldberg will promote her holiday sweater collection with a special event on Nov. 15 at Lord & Taylor’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York, during which the retailer will unveil a special window dedicated to the product.

Toya Wright Releases New Book ‘In My Own Words’
Toya Wright‘s third book, In My Own Words…My Real Reality, sees its release today. The NY Times bestselling author has teased its arrival, sharing the cover and a videos on Instagram.
This morning, as it dropped, she told her followers that the book is dedicated to her brothers, Rudy and Josh Johnson, who were tragically gunned down in New Orleans in July.
“Today is the release of my 3rd book!! I’m Super excited and this one means so much to me,” she wrote. “It’s dedicated to my Angels Rudy and Josh!!! I miss u guys so much. #inmyownwords.”
In one of the promotional clips for the book, women can be heard talking about Toya with comments like: “She’s weak for men,” “She gon’ be just like her mama,” and “She wouldn’t have nothing if it wasn’t for Wayne” – and with the book, Toya’s looking to silence some of the talks surrounding her and family — through her own words.

Bob Dylan wins Nobel Prize in literature
STOCKHOLM — Bob Dylan was named the winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in literature Thursday in a stunning announcement that for the first time bestowed the prestigious award to someone primarily seen as a musician.
The Swedish Academy cited the American musician for “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.”
Dylan had been mentioned in the Nobel speculation for years, but few experts expected the academy to extend the prestigious award to a genre such as pop music.
The literature award was the last of this year’s Nobel Prizes to be announced. The six awards will be handed out on Dec. 10, the anniversary of prize founder Alfred Nobel’s death in 1896.
