Amar'e Stoudemire WEDS Alexis Welch In PRIVATE Rooftop CEREMONY!
Amar'e Stoudemire wed his "best friend" Alexis Welch yesterday in a private ceremony on the rooftop of the couples' Meatpacking District apartment in NYC. And even though Amar'e's currently on the injured list, he'll be making a big comeback--as a married man--at the Knicks' big Christmas Day game against the Lakers.
The intimate affair was witnessed by the couples three children Amar’e Jr., Ar’e and Assata (shown atop) and seven family members. And instead of a traditional wedding dress, Alexis wore a custom designed garment while their kids also donned custom attire as well. Meanwhile, Amar'e wore a Calvin Klein tux under his draped attire.
Alexis' stunning engagement ring was designed by Shayan Afshar and Harry Glinberg created her wedding band. Amar'e wears an Afshar wedding band
Following the nuptials, the wedding party made a stop at the 12.12.12. Concert at MSG (we told you previously about their home and cars sustaining hurricane damage) and also a trip to STK for the reception. His NBA rep tells us Amar'e was quoted saying, "I feel blessed."
And if you're wondering why such a high profile couple would have such a small seemingly impromptu wedding, a source told the NY Post, “Less than seven other people were there, no Knicks teammates. It was just about them. They are planning a big bash next year for friends and family to have a great time.”

The couple, who got engaged last June at their Le Meurice Hotel Belle Etoile Royal Suite overlooking the Eiffel Tower, say they chose 12.12.12. to get married for spiritual reasons. Amar'e shared a special photo of their wedding rings saying "12.12.12 now has a special & spiritual meaning for us."
Congrats to the newlyweds!
ATL Radio Shake-Up: Ryan Cameron Replaces V-103′s Frank Ski + Big Tigger Gets New Radio Gig
After a few days of speculation, 48-year-old Atlanta radio personality, Frank Ski (real name Frank Rodriguez), has announced that he is leaving V-103. Frank, who is co-host to the ‘Frank and Wanda Morning Show’, made his announcement Wednesday morning, stating:
“I am not leaving Atlanta. This is my home. This is not a goodbye, but instead, a to be continued very soon.”
UPDATED —-> Wanda Smith has left the show as well. So the bigger question is, who will replace V-103′s morning radio slot? Industry folk and loyal listeners are still asking questions. Did he quit? Was he fired? What will he do next? Can Ryan Cameron fill his shoes? Well, we can’t answer ALL of those questions (most is speculated at this time),but here are a few more details about Frank Ski and Wanda Smith’s departure. As is customary, Ski more than likely will not be allowed to be on the radio for the next six months, because of his ‘non-compete’.

Although his home is now for sale, for $2.2 million, Ski doesn’t plan to leave Atlanta.
Rick Caffey, market manager for V-103, said Ski wanted a syndication deal to expand his footprint beyond Atlanta but the two sides couldn’t come to agreement.
And here’s Ski’s official statement:
Dear Atlanta:
Fourteen years ago, V-103 General Manager Rick Caffey and I set out to create a morning show that was
informative, entertaining and inspirational — and year after year, you’ve blessed us with #1 ratings in
every age category.
I’m beyond blessed to get paid to do what I love most, to be on the radio with more than a million
listeners every week. I have enjoyed waking you up every morning, deejaying the hottest parties every
week and whether it be in the streets, the grocery store, your school, a football game or in places of
worship, I have truly enjoyed getting to know you and your family.
When I moved here in 1998, I was newly married and hadn’t even started my family. Major milestones
and defining moments have happened while on the airwaves of V-103. My children were born here in
Atlanta, and you shared in that joy — all three times. Tanya & I started the Frank Ski Kids Foundation a
decade ago, and because you supported our annual Kids Week, Youth Bowl and Wine Tastings, you made
it possible for us to expose hundreds of kids to their future, and ultimately, realize their dreams.
I’ve grown personally from interviewing those who have made Atlanta the great city it is, and I’ve
flourished from genuine relationships with people like Maynard Jackson, Andy Young, Bill Campbell,
Bernice King, Shirley Franklin and my good friend, Kasim Reed, whose individual legacies will live
forever.
Atlanta, you’ve allowed me to bring so many important triumphs and tragedies to life. To be blessed with
the last interview with Ms. Coretta Scott King, challenged by the jail interview with convicted murderer
Wayne Williams, and completely honored to interview the young Senator from Chicago, President Barack
Obama. The list goes on — from the iconic and unforgettable Whitney Houston to the incomparable living
legend, Mr. Stevie Wonder, you’ve witnessed and experienced countless defining moments with me.
You encouraged me when I flew to New York hours after 9-11, when I drove to Louisiana for the Jena 6
story and even when we pulled our entire city together to raise hundreds and thousands of dollars for
Hurricane Katrina victims. You’ve been there when I suffered a loss, and when the hard work allowed me
to try things I never could have dreamed for myself.
We’ve traveled around the world together… to Asia, Africa, South America and beyond, and have returned
home with deeper connections to each other and our communities. You celebrated with me in 2011 when
my dream to open a restaurant became a reality. I thank you for all of those shared times — the laughter,
the tears and the victories.
And with that, Atlanta, I have decided to end my tenure with V-103
My decision to leave my V-103 family has been one of the most important and most spiritual decisions of
my life. For years, I’ve delivered the Inspirational Vitamin and have told you to live by faith, not fear, and
to believe in the power of God’s plan for your life.
I’ve encouraged you to ‘Let Go and Let God’ — and now it’s time for me to do the same.
It’s time for me to walk in faith — but chase my passions and spiritual purpose to expand my brand &
grow. It’s time for me to explore other opportunities that will allow me to serve more people on a greater
level.
Thank you to General Manager, Rick Caffey, for believing in my talent, and allowing me to be the leader
of a radio station that truly believes in service & community. Thank you to my cohost, Wanda Smith, for
trusting in my abilities to lead the Morning Show on a successful 14 year journey. Thank you to the entire
V-103 family — on-air and behind the scenes — your efforts, enthusiasm, hard work & support will always
be appreciated.
And thank you to YOU, Atlanta, for allowing me to be a part of your family, and unselfishly being a part
of mine. As the story continues, you will hear me again on radio & I will not leave the city I call home.
As one beautiful chapter ends and another begins, I will take the memories we’ve created and never forget
how the story began. I look forward to sharing the next chapter with you, and creating even more
unforgettable memories.
This is not a good-bye, Atlanta, but instead — to be continued… very soon.
An inside source has confirmed: Ryan Cameron will fill Frank Ski’s slot
Big Tigger (formerly of BET’s 106 & Park and DC’s WPGC) will fill Ryan Cameron’s slot. All other slots, like the Kenny Burns Show, will remain the same.
If you’re an Atlanta resident, how do you feel about Frank’s departure? What do you think of Ryan Cameron’s move to the morning slot? And what about Big Tigger’s radio move to the station?

12-year-old accused of being pregnant had massive 19-pound tumor growing near her stomach
WARNING: Graphic pictures.
A 12-year-old girl with a growing stomach was taunted by her classmates for looking pregnant but it turned out the adolescent had a 19-pound tumor growing near her stomach.
Janet Roberts said middle schoolers at her daughter's school in Jacksonville, Florida began gossiping over the summer that her daughter was expecting a baby, when the girl's stomach started to expand.
But after multiple denials and several negative pregnancy tests, doctors discovered the girl instead had a 19-pound benign tumor growing inside of her.
'I was in shock,' Roberts told the First Coast News on Thursday about hearing reports from officials at her daughter's school about the girl, who has not been named, looking pregnant this summer.
'To me it was a joke at first.' The girl was bullied because of the gossip and the mother had the girl take a pregnancy test to make sure. The test came back negative.
Doctors removed this 19-pound tumor from the girl's body
But the girl's stomach continued to grow and again the mother had the girl take another pregnancy test. 'I tested her every two weeks and it was negative, then I said 'if you're not pregnant something is going on here.''
In August, the girl celebrated her 12th birthday and her expanding stomach made it appear that she was five months pregnant.
Roberts, the mother of four daughters, took the girl to the doctor and they discovered a massive tumor inhabiting the girl's body.
She was rushed to the Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville for emergency surgery to remove the growth.
'Because of her size, they had to drain two liter bottle of it before they could pull it out of her,' the mother explained. Though the tumor has been extracted, doctors fear it could reappear.
In addition to the medical concern, Roberts said her daughter is struggling to move past the emotional impact of the experience.
'She has a hard time dealing with what happen to her. She's writing notes about what happened and how the people treated her,' Roberts said.

The beef between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy has been simmering ever since Rick Ross dropped his summer anthem B.M.F. (Blowin Money Fast) back in 2010 with the chorus: I think I'm Big Beech/Larry Hoover/ Whippin' work/ Hallelujah.
The problem is Rick Ross had absolutely no affiliation with the BMF or Big Meech causing Young Jeezy, who WAS part of the BMF clique, to take offense.

The feud between Rick and Jeezy came to a head earlier this year when the two crossed paths backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards
So how is this going to work out now that they're on the same record label...?
A few days ago Rick Ross announced he was moving his Maybach Music label from Warner Bros. to Atlantic, where Young Jeezy happens to be the head of A&R.
There's going to be a fight in the hallway. Just watch.
