Also last night in NYC: The competition for best celebrity Halloween costume is hotting up, but Kim Kardashian emerged tonight as a clear front-runner.

The newly married 30-year-old looked incredible as Batman's alluring enemy Poison Ivy at the Midori Green party in New York.
Kim was hosting for the melon-flavoured liquor brand and therefore encouraged to go along the green route for her costume.

The reality juggernaut went to great lengths to make the temptress who seduces Batman's alter-ego, Bruce Wayne, with a toxic kiss, her own.
She brought a new meaning to tree hugging in her clinging ivy dress, which showed off those astonishing curves.
The red wig so associated with the DC Comics character complemented Kim's olive skin perfectly and made a refreshing change.
With make-up pared down, Kim allowed the colours to do the talking and finished the look off with gold accessories and shoes.
The flourish of leaves slanting above her almond eyes set the fantastical ensemble off perfectly.

Obviously, husband Kris, Humpries, 26 , has called shotgun on the Batman suit for a later date.

Malibu Black and actress Katrina Bowden kick off Halloween weekend with their “Skater Zombies and Surfer Chicks” costume party extravaganza at Good Units in NYC.

Last night, Katrina Bowden (Actress), Tyson Beckford (Model), Kaylee DeFer (Gossip Girl), Matthew Settle (Gossip Girl), Christian Siriano (Designer) and many more joined Malibu Black to kick-off Halloween weekend, with a costume party extravaganza, at Good Units @ the Hudson Hotel in NYC.

And The Legendary Salt & Pepa performed for the event!

Malibu Black is new to the bar scene – it’s for those nights when you want to crank up your evening. 70 proof, amber-colored and the same great taste of Malibu, but a little less sweet.

Last night cemented Malibu Black’s role as THE signature drink of Halloween.

He launched his career as camp flight attendant Sebastian Flight in The High Life.
And Alan Cumming was certainly living it up when he arrived dressed as a mouse at Bette Midler's Hulaween gala benefit for the New York tonight.

The 46-year-old's hilarious furry outfit featured ears and a tail, but it was certainly not up to the standard of costume he wore in X Men sequel, X2.

Of course Alan is used to playing it for laughs, as he was one half of the legendary Scottish comedy duo Victor and Barry in the late 80s.
The characters went on to be the basis the cult airline sitcom he created with his then creative partner Forbes Masson.
The Oliver Award-winning star was not the only celebrity who turned out for the charity event.
Bette, 65 , was of course the star attraction, and she posed for photos alongside 61-year-old soul legend Stevie Wonder, who decided to dress as a skeleton for the event.

Multi-platinum Mexican singing star Thalia also dressed up for the event, which was inspired by her country's Day of the Dead holiday.

The ball raised funds for Midler's New York Restoration Project, which helps the singer and actress improve and maintain parklands and community gardens in the state.
