Several celebrities joined the FLOTUS for Nickelodeon Celebrates Largest Ever Worldwide Day Of Play at The Ellipse in Washington, DC.

Michelle Obama thanked LeBron James for coming out and helping raise awareness.

And LeBron even brought his fiancee Savannah Brinson along to help the kids get fit.

Then, he posed for pics and played several games with the kids.

Newlywed Chris Paul was there too, playing games with the kids.

He and LeBron posed for a few pics with fans after they played a few games.

Also, Dwyane Wade posed with Cymphonique Miller (Master P’s daughter), star of upcoming Nickelodeon series, "How to Rock."

Dwyane, LeBron and Chris kept the kids engaged with their funny antics.

Actress KeKe Palmer also lent her support to the event.And she participated in many of the sporting events, including climbing the wall.

"The Dark Knight Rises" Stars Suit Up In Los Angeles

Hard at work on their new project, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Gary Oldman were spotted on the set of “The Dark Knight Rises” in downtown Los Angeles 

The trio of co-stars were in full costume as Batman, Catwoman and Gordon while running through scenes alongside one another - with Miss Hathaway cutely resting her head on Bale's shoulder before tending to solo efforts aboard a heavy duty motorcycle.

The much-anticipated Christopher Nolan helmed film boasts quite the impressive cast, with fellow co-stars including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman and Juno Temple.

Also featuring Tom Hardy, Liam Neeson, and Michael Caine, "The Dark Knight Rises" is set to hit theaters on July 20, 2012.

Tyler Perry Bringing "The Marriage Counselor" To The Big Screen

Tyler Perry and Lionsgate have announced The Marriage Counselor as their next film project.

Based on Tyler's 2008 stage play of the same name, the movie will deal with a married couple whose lives are uprooted once their displaced parents move in.

Although production is set to start on Oct. 25, no further details about the casting or the film's release date have been announced.

GOP presidential hopefuls would prefer the time when slavery was cool, says MSNBC anchor

Openly gay MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts has condemned the GOP presidential hopefuls, saying they would prefer a time 'when slavery was cool'.
His words came after some members of the audience at the recent Republican debate booed a gay soldier for asking a question about the Don't Ask Don't Tell law.
Mr Roberts called the moment 'strange,' and noted that none of the candidates or anyone in the audience praised the soldier for his service.

Openly gay MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts said the GOP candidates, such as Rick Santorum, would prefer a time when slavery was 'cool'

He also criticised the GOP candidates for not denouncing the heckles.
Rick Santorum, who was asked the question by the soldier, later claimed not to have heard the noise.
But Mr Roberts did not like Mr Santorum referring to the lifting of the ban on openly gay soldiers as 'social experimentation'.
He said: 'I get out of all of these things that many of these candidates would rather take legislation to build a time machine and go back in time to where we had no women voting, slavery was cool.'

Mr Roberts has previously said that Michele Bachmann would 'extinguish' gay people.

Mr Roberts was talking to Jimmy DeSalvia, the head of GOProud, a gay Republican organisation, about Mrs Bachmann.
Mr DeSalvia said it was important to 'replace' a 'failed president,' and that his organization had reached out to all the GOP presidential candidates.
Mrs Bachmann is known for her ferocious opposition to gay rights, and video footage has shown that a clinic she co-owns allegedly practices so-called 'conversion therapy' on gay people.

'You will replace Obama with a person who would extinguish you,' a forthright Mr Roberts said to Mr DeSalvia.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson is under investigation after authorities intercepted a package addressed to his home in Kentucky containing 2 pounds of weed...

According to reports, cops searched Simpson's home after snagging a package that was shipped to his house -- containing 2.5 pounds of Mary Jane -- and then found another 6 pounds of weed, packaging materials, scales, and smoking devices.

A rep for the National Marijuana Initiative -- which coordinates marijuana enforcement operations around the country -- believes the house was set up as a "potential distribution network."

Bengals tackle Anthony Collins was also present when police raided the home -- and he's being investigated as well. Police detained the two players during the search, but neither was arrested.

I worked an internship for Russell Simmons while I was in college for for Phat Fashions! They sold Phat Farm/BabyPhat to Kellwood for 750 million dollars. Russell left, and I wish I had jumped on the ship with him. Kimora totally ruined the brand! I mean I've never been a fan of urban wear, but there was still a market out there that enjoyed it!

In a nutshell, the company was bought out by Kellwood... Kimora was named President! Kellwood dumb down the production of the collection. Meaning they outsourced to horrible places and the product suffered.

So at the end, Kellwood got rid of the marketing department in 09, and then they locked her ass out of her office in 10.

She didn't leave, they got rid of her!

She allowed Kellwood to make her brand downgraded! She licensed her merchandise and products to JC Penny, Walmart, and other companies and that was the beginning of her demise.

All of the marketing team advised her to stop the over the top logo and detailing on the product. It would've cut the cost of the product and more people would probably want to buy it. But her ego got the best of her.

The motto was: Baby Phat is for the girl who likes Gucci, but can't afford it.

All my years of working for that company it never look like high end at all.

Kimora's ego messed that company up big time. She had a lot of say so when it came to the look and the direction.

I don't know if you guys remember James Campbell (Marketing &Advertising) was on The Fab Life crying all the time. Well, Kimora fired him because of him bad mouthing her to Sean Combs. James went over to Sean John for an interview and bad mouth Kimora and Phat Fashions (Probably telling the truth about how it was being ran) Not a second after he left the meeting with Sean, he called Kimora personally and told her what James said. He was fired on spot!!!!!!

One year we were at the Magic Show in Vegas. This was around the time Russell was dating Porschla. Russell dated her for a while and he used her as a model in one of his ads for the new apparel line Argyleculture.

We were at the afterparty and my boss came over and said don't talk to Porschla. I had a look on my face like why.... and he was like, I know but Kimora will fire you for speaking and socializing with her. Porschla was a very nice girl, and I worked with Russell in stores debuting AC. I met her several times and I felt bad that I couldn't go over to speak. Kimora is just that petty.

Mary J. Blige Attends Variety’s Power Of Women Event

Singer Mary J. Blige was spotted attending Variety’s Power of Women Event. The singer showed off every curve of her body in a tight fitting red dress. The empowering event was presented by Lifetime at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The singer has been making her rounds in an effort to promote the hype surrounding her upcoming album which is due to drop November 21st.
The diva served as an honoree at the event for her foundation, Ffawn, which aims to empower and encourage women by creating and supporting programs that foster education, career development, self-esteem, and personal growth.

Mary said about her foundation, “This is exactly what I have wanted to do since I was a kid. I saw what happened to women enough to make me want to do something like this.”

Comedienne Wanda Sykes Talks Her Battle With Breast Cancer: “I Had Both Breasts Removed”

While visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently, funny lady Wanda Sykes revealed some news that she’s never shared publicly; she has had both breasts removed. This past February, after going to the doctor for breast reduction surgery, she found out that she had breast cancer and had to make the difficult decision to remove her breasts completely so that she could rid herself of the cancer.

“I had breast cancer. Yeah, I know it’s scary. I had real big boobs and I just got tired of knocking over stuff. Every time I eat — oh lord. I’d carry a Tide stick everywhere I go. My back was sore so it was time to have a reduction. It wasn’t until after the reduction that in the lab work, the pathology, that they found that I had DCIS [ductal carcinoma in situ] in my left breast. I was very, very lucky because DCIS is basically stage-zero cancer. So I was very lucky.”

“I had the choice of, [going] back every three months and getting it checked. Have a mammogram, MRI every three months just to see what it’s doing. But, I’m not good at keeping on top of stuff. I’m sure I’m overdue for an oil change and a teeth cleaning already.”

Wanda decided to have her breasts removed because her mother’s side of the family has a long history of cancer. The bilateral mastectomy seemed like the only logical choice for her.

“I had both breasts removed, because now I have zero chance of having breast cancer.[...]I was like, I don’t know, should I talk about it or what? How many things could I have? I’m black, then Lesbian. I can’t be the poster child for everything. At least with the LGBT issues we get a parade, we get a float, it’s a party. I was real hesitant about doing this, because I hate walking. I got a lot of [cancer] walks coming up.”

It’s great that she can help people laugh through such a serious issue, while also showing us how important it is for women to get checked up on a regular basis. If she didn’t go in for a breast reduction, she may not have been lucky enough to find out she had breast cancer while it was in it’s early stage. Awareness around the importance of mammograms for women is so important...GOOD FOR HER!

Watch This Heartfelt “Paws Up Forever Project” Video: Dedicated To Jamey Rodemeyer

Whew – It didn’t take long for the waterworks to start once I hit play on this video, but I’m glad I watched it. As you probably already know, a boy named Jamey Rodemeyer recently killed himself after losing his own battle with his bullies at school and online. School should be a safe place for kids to discover themselves and learn but instead, many are bullied non-stop. In Jamey’s case, kids went as far as to say, “I wouldn’t care if you died. No one would. So just do it. It would make everyone WAY more happier!” Just awful.

This video titled “Paws Up Forever Project,” is dedicated to Jamey Rodemeyer (who was inspired by Lady Gaga) and the fight to stop bullying/suicide all over the world. Lead by Jason Bring, Sara Nazeman, and Ines Andersen-Mitchell, 150 monsters from all over the world joined forces to send one message: “Make A Law For Jamey.” In the first half of the video, these kids and young adults describe to potentially suicidal kids what life would be life without them and how much pain they would be inflicting on those who love them. They describe in detail what it might be like for your parents to find your dead body. The emotions they’d go through and how they, and many others, would go through the rest of their lives broken as a result of your death. So powerful.

LIAR, LIAR! Megan Good Caught With A Cigarette After Claims Of Quitting

Actress Megan Good was recently photographed smoking a cigarette. This wouldn’t be surprising if she hadn’t stated in an interview with Rolling Out magazine last month that she had quit (click here for that story). I guess Megan is really stressed out.

In the same interview, Megan spoke a lot about being a role model for younger girls. I hope they don’t take this image and run with it. I wonder if she’s going to issue a statement as to why she’s decided to start smoking again.

Then again, by the looks of the pictures, maybe she didn’t mean for the paps to even see her. What do you think is the reasoning behind Megan picking up this old habit?

Amber Rose Receives Backlash After Ghana Visit

It seems like Amber Rose can’t catch a break these days and nothing she does it recognized as good. Earlier this week, Amber took a trip to Ghana in West Africa because she was invited to host their annual Vodaphone O20 Live music concert. Some questioned her creditability and wonder why she was even chosen to host the event in the first place.

Trying to spread some positivity, she spoke to a group of young girls at a fairly small Islamic school. Afterward, Amber received backlash for Ghanaians for posting pictures on twitter of only the poor people of the village and not highlighting the wealthy areas. During an interview that took place in Ghana, 

Amber responded:

People have to understand that this is my first time in Africa. This is not my culture. I have never been here so if I said anything to hurt anyone’s feelings then I am really, really sorry. I saw that a lot of people on twitter said ‘don’t just show the poverty, show the rich people’. But for me, the rich people aren’t doing anything for the little kids and the people that are living in poverty so I don’t want to go hang out with the rich people.

I wanted to see the kids in poverty. I grew up very poor. So I wanted to go see them, help them, talk to them and inspire them to let them know they could possibly be somebody great. They can be somebody great. So I want everyone in Ghana to know that I wasn’t just saying that ‘Ghana is a poor country and no one should ever come here.’ Anyone that I have spoken to about Ghana since I have been here, I have been saying that it’s such an amazing place. And I’m sorry for not posting pictures of rich people, but it just wasn’t for me to do.

She also added:

‘I think everyone in the States, they have a perception of Africa that it is all dirt roads, people are extremely poor. What I’ve noticed about Africa, since I’ve been here is, that people are either extremely rich or extremely poor. There is no middle class at all.

A writer for Ghana Celebrities responded to Amber’s interview with this statement:

Did I hear Amber Rose say there are no middle class people in Ghana? And it is either people are extremely rich or extremely poor? I am a living testimony and a true proof that, she is totally uninformed about Ghanaians.

I am not extremely rich and neither am I extremely poor to be living in gutters or dirt as she puts it. I am a middle class Ghanaian and my family has always been middle class. There are several middle class Ghanaians out there living comfortably and not in dirt.

It is absurd enough to bring Amber Rose to Ghana to headline a concert as the only decent credibility this chick carries around is ‘ex-girlfriend of Kanye West’. I therefore expected that she should at least be coached if she is dumb enough not to know that we have middle class Ghanaians.

Not only did Amber Rose parade her ignorance as far as the economic strata of Ghanaians/Africans are concerned, she also presented her view as if there are no poor people in America where she comes from. There are people out there in America living in far disgusting conditions than those she spotted in Ghana.

If someone like Amber Rose wants to comment on Ghana, the best is for her to be informed on what she is saying…And why does she think Ghana is entirely Africa? Gosh! Africa is a continent, Ghana is a country and she just visited Ghana, we have 53 countries in Africa.......OUCH!!!

Jennifer Hudson Opens Her Own Weight Watchers Center In Chicago

Jennifer Hudson continued to spread her "Feeling Good" message, opening her own Weight Watchers center on the southside of Chicago yesterday.

Jennifer Hudson hosted the grand opening of the Jennifer Hudson Weight Watchers Center in her hometown of Chicago.

The center is a testament to Jennifer's amazing lifestyle transformation. She said, “I never thought I would make it to have my own center. I’m so honored to be here and see this day.” And she looked fabulous in her black peplum Stella McCartney dress.

Jennifer celebrated by cutting the ribbon with Alderman Will Burns and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Afterwards, she posed with the mayor and Cheryl Callan.

The star of the Winnie biopic paired her dress with cheetah Louboutin boots.

The center will donate a portion of its revenue to the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, an organization Jennifer set up to honor her deceased nephew.

Just Like Dad! Prince Jackson, 14, makes first solo public appearance in a suit inspired by his late father

His father was noted for the sharp suit and armband combo he started wearing during his smooth criminal years.
And it seems the look was still inspiring his son as he made a solo public appearance in Berlin, Germany today.
The 14-year-old donned a black suit and red armband as he appeared at the Tribute to Bambi 2011 event.

The fact he wore a black tie and red shirt was also noteworthy, as it was one of the legendary singer's favourite fashion pairings.
Prince appeared happy and relaxed as he posed at the show, which was raising money for the disadvantaged children's charity.

His appearance at the event coincided with the announcement of his first ever high-profile public engagement.
He will star be starring at an auction on November 10 in aid of the Tribute to Bambi foundation, where his father's handwritten composition of Bad will be up for sale.
A spokesman for the event said: 'Prince Michael Jackson will walk the red carpet and present the manuscript on stage surrounded by children.
A source close to the event told People: 'He won't be traveling alone, but no family members will be with him.'
In the past he has always made public appearances under the watchful eyes of his relatives, often with his sister Paris, 13, and his brother 10-year-old brother Blanket.
Prince's most well known visit to Berlin when was he was just five, where he attended with his father and siblings.
On that occasion Michael infamously dangled Blanket over the balcony before his adoring fans staying at the Adlon Hotel.

It is not the first time the family have supported the cause.
The King of Pop's glittery jacket went under the hammer in 2002, while his autographed guitar was sold in 2009.
Anyone who wants to for the Bad manuscript can do so between now and November 10 at the United Charity website.

When asked how much they expect the one-of-a-kind manuscript will fetch a spokeswoman laughed and said, 'Hopefully, a whole lot!'

Lindsay Lohan Confronts Lover's Wife

Lindsay Lohan angrily confronted her lover's wife in the lobby of his hotel.
Lindsay Lohan got her claws out in a confrontation with the Indian model wife of millionaire hotelier Vikram Chatwal, just days after the troubled starlet and Chatwal were spotted kissing at his home in New York.

Lohan rudely confronted stunning Priya Sachdev at the Dream Downtown on Wednesday night, saying with obvious disdain, “You are his wife?” This was followed by a sour face right out of her movie “Mean Girls,” spies said.
Dream owner Chatwal married Sachdev at a lavish seven-day ceremony in 2006, and they later separated. They have a daughter and have remained close. But Chatwal was seen kissing Lohan on photographs posted on the Internet as they cozied up near a window of his New York home a few days ago.
A source told us, “Lindsay had been staying at Vikram’s house and even installed her hairdresser in the baby’s room, but was told to leave before his wife arrived from India with the child a few days ago. His father, Sant Singh, has tried to order Lindsay out numerous times.

“Lindsay found out Vikram was hosting a dinner at the Dream, and turned up with a friend at the hotel’s Electric Room, waiting for him,” the source said. “That’s when the trouble started. Priya was very dignified, but Lindsay was so rude. She acted as if she’d had no idea Vikram was married, and tried to make it clear that Vikram was her friend. Others had to step in to calm things down.”
Chatwal flew Lohan to town before Fashion Week on his jet, and they’ve been repeatedly spotted partying together. Our source said, “Vikram’s family worry that Lindsay is bad news and want him to stay away from her.”
Lohan’s rep, Steve Honig, last night denied she and Chatwal were in a relationship. He said, “Vikram and Lindsay are good friends, and there is absolutely no romance going on between them.”

Of the incident, “This is the first I’ve heard of it.” A spokesman for Chatwal said, “No comment at this time.”

AGREE OR DISAGREE: DJ Khaled Defends Using The "N" Word

DJ Khaled can be heard all over urban radio as he's dropped some hip hop classics, including "All I Do Is Win." But now a debate has arisen about his use of the "N" word, especially since he is of Palestinian descent. Listen to DJ Khaled defend his using of the "N" word and decide if you buy his argument.....

All lot of rappers and comedians use the "N" word in their music and their standup....but usually they are of African American descent.

And while most folks have a problem with the use of the word in general, what happens when people who aren't Black or African American claim the word?

That's the debate going on now as DJ Khaled has felt compelled to defend his use of the "N" word.

During a recent interview he said,

“I grew up like that. [N--ga] is slang. It’s actually a positive word, the way I use it."

DJ Khaled went on to reveal to DJ Green Lantern that while growing up in Florida he was even called a “sand n—ga.” 

So does that give him a right to claim the word as a part of his struggles too?…

Is P. Diddy A Billionaire?

Forbes just named its ‘Future 400′ list of innovators and movers who they believe will break open the billionaires club, just like the creators of Facebook and Google did. But there’s only one guy from hip hop who made the cut, none other than Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs. The Bad Boy record exec is worth about $550 million and with his many investments, will be to a billion soon enough.

“Diddy’s ten-figure dreams hinge on a lucrative partnership with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka. Diddy teamed up with alcohol conglomerate back in 2007 with the aim of perking up sales for the fledgling spirit. Diageo agreed to split any profits with him; if the company ever sold Ciroc, he’d be entitled to a share of the proceeds. The rationale: Why not? The brand wasn’t selling, and Diddy was always known for having a flair for marketing.

Even so, the executives at Diageo could never have expected just how much Diddy’s presence would boost sales. In 2007 sleepy Ciroc was moving cases at a rate of 60,000 per six months, or 120,000 per year. In 2009 Diddy’s second year with the brand, Ciroc moved 400,000 cases. This year Ciroc is on pace to sell more than 1 million cases. The boom was fueled in large part by Diddy’s diligent shilling—on billboards, in lyrics, on Twitter and even through a self-proclaimed nickname, “Ciroc Obama.”

These days, Diddy’s interest in Ciroc is worth somewhere in the low-to-mid nine-figures by our estimates and makes up the largest chunk of his net worth. As the vodka’s value grows, so, too, does Diddy’s fortune. It’s conceivable that Ciroc could someday be worth as much as Ketel One, and in that case, Diddy’s interest could be worth somewhere in the mid-to-high nine figures in the event of a sale.
