her Death.
We now know what was the reason for the death of
R&B Singer Vesta Williams. According to friend Norwood Young he spoke to
EURweb in an exclusive interview. Young received word from members of Vesta’s
family that the beloved singer passed away from complications of an enlarged
heart. The Williams family was given the autopsy report a “day or two ago”
according to Young.
“Although it’s a sad situation
overall, it’s great news to find that Vesta’s death, as I said from the very
beginning, was not drug related,” Young , who was a good friend of the
R&B singer, told EUR’s Lee Bailey. “Vesta did indeed die
from an enlarged heart. As we know, an enlarged heart can remain undetected in
the body for many, many years.” According to
Norwood
Young said that obesity and stress may have also
contributed to the beloved 53-year-old R&B singer’s untimely death.
In
recent years, Vesta had battled with a drug problem and obesity. She beat
both–and lost 100 pounds. The singer is best known for her top ten singles “Once
Bitten, Twice Shy,” “Don’t Blow a Good Thing,” and
“Congratulations.”
Asked if Vesta was taking medication for the heart
condition, Young said no. “One thing about an enlarged
heart, eight out of 10 deaths are sudden,” Young pointed out. “This news could not come at a more appropriate time,” said
Young, who added that Vesta’s life and career will kick off a series of TV One
specials entitled “Unsung,” that will air on January 2, 2012 at 10pm Eastern
time. Young, who was recently signed to E.D.M. Records and is in negotiations
to star in a reality show, said that Vesta was always very appreciative of her
fans.
“I hope her fans will continue to
keep Vesta in their hearts andminds and to knowthat she loved her fans very,
very much.”

New Birth Christian Academy Closes
More than 200 Georgia students are in search of a new
school following the announcement of New Birth Christian Academy closing its
doors after 18 years of establishment.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the
school's founder, Bishop Eddie Long, notified parents via a December 22 letter
signed by the board's vice-chairman, Carlton Donald stating that funding and low
enrollment "are the main issues" for the school's "temporarily
closing."
"Funding estimates fall far short of
our projected needs. It is a very sad occasion, as the NBCA board has made the
tough decision to temporarily close the school," Donald stated in the letter.
"We have operated New Birth Christian Academy for several years with substantial
deficits in hopes that the national economic climate would change, however, that
change never materialized."
According to the private institution's website,
tuition at the pre-K-12 school ranged from $5,253 for New Birth members to
$6,198 for non-members with more than $1,000 in non-refundable
fees.
Though Donald went on to say that the academy's staff
will assist in helping students find new schools, parents are outraged by the
timing of the announcement. One parent spoke to local Atlanta news outlet WSBTV
Channel 2 expressing that; "It's almost like they
purposely waited for the holiday before they sent out this letter. I mean, a
letter (that says) my daughter basically does not have a school to go to on
January 4."
Housed inside Long's New Birth Missionary Baptist
Church, the unidentified parent also believes that the abrupt closing is a
result of Long's much publicized sex abuse allegations."I believe that this last
straw with the divorce, the sealed settlement, it just does not look good," said
the parent.
A spokesperson for New Birth Missionary Baptist Church
says that the school's closure has nothing to do with Long, according to the
outlet.

Fiddy reports that he and T.I. have officially ended their
month-long Twitter feud.
Last month, Twitter played the battleground to yet another beef
involving 50 Cent when the Queens rapper said that T.I. should have let his wife
Tameka "Tiny" Cottle take the rap for their 2010 drug charges. Now, Fiddy says
that the two rappers have officially squashed their feud.
According to a recent interview with Vibe, Fif and Tip quelled
their Twitter feud with a phone call. 50 said that although things were pretty
heated between him and the King of the South, he did make sure that there were
no hard feelings between the two artists.
“We got mutual friends and I was actually in conversation with one
of them, and they were around him,” 50 explained. “I didn’t tell him to get
[T.I.] on the phone and [T.I.] didn’t tell him to get me on the phone, it was

If your wife was 9 months preggers and due to give birth on that
day, I doubt you’d be sitting at a Nets game. Yesterday, the buzz around the
internet was that Beyonce was scheduled to give birth at St. Luke’s Roosevelt
Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. According to the wild rumor, staff at
the hospital were alerted the night before that they would be expecting a high
profile patient in the VIP Labor and Delivery suite. Afterward, the hospital was
flooded with calls from fans and the press.
Unfortunately for Beyonce fans, yesterday came and went and there
were no signs of a baby. It looks as though Jay-z wasn’t notified of his baby’s
delivery because he spent his night courtside watching the Nets take on the
Hawks, instead of in a maternity ward by his wife’s side. Looks like the Bigga
Baby won’t be a Christmas holiday baby after all.
Meanwhile according to Page Six, Jay and Bey partied it up on
Friday at a Manhattan nightclub and Beyonce was gushing about the baby being the

piquing suspicion that Beyoncé might give birth there, the pregnant singer
apparently stopped by one more party before she went into labor. On Friday, she

youth arts program Creation Nation and its Creators Club, which will meet weekly
in the space. Beyoncé — who reports say is nine months pregnant — and Jay-Z were
spotted sitting tight in a VIP booth and fielding greetings from friends.
Beyoncé was overheard saying that her pregnancy was “the best Christmas present
possible.” Our witnesses report that the rapper “was very attentive to his wife,
at one point getting up to get her some water.”

gunned down in parking lot by her ex-husband as her three terrified children

A mother-of-three was shot to death in the parking lot of a McDonald's by
her former husband as her children waited inside.
Donna Marie Royer, 40, from
Denver, was shot three times in the chest last night just after 5pm after her
estranged husband Mark Royer drove up to her in the parking lot.
About 90
minutes after the shooting, police found Royer's body near his truck at a
trailhead near Ponderosa High School, said Parker Police Sgt Doreen
Jokerst.
Court records show that Ms Royer was granted a permanent restraining order
against her former husband in April, alleging domestic violence.
The couple
divorced last year.
A Facebook page has been set up in her memory and it
states that she was pregnant with her fourth child when she was killed.
An
eye witness told the Denver Post that the mother went to her parked car while
her middle-school aged children waited inside the fast food restaurant.
A man driving a red pickup truck then drove up to her and shot her three
times.
Christine Castello said she rushed to the mother's side as she was
convulsing.
'I held her head as she was, like, dying,' Castello said. 'I
told her that everything was going to be OK.'
Her daughter was said to have
screamed 'Mom' when she saw what happened.
Ms Royer was pronounced dead later
in the hospital.
When police found the truck about eight miles away, a SWAT
team used flash bang grenades but found no one inside.
They later found the
body a short distance away in an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to the Denver Post, tax records list Mark Royer as the president
and Donna Royer as vice president of Renewed Hope Community Ministries, which
lists the couple's former home address as its location.
Mrs Royer is said to
have tolerated hostile emails and phone calls from her former husband for more
than a year, but when Royer showed up at a Starbucks in March 2010, confronting
her and her boyfriend and threatening her boyfriend's life, she asked for a
protective order.
Court documents say Royer called her cellphone repeatedly,
saying her boyfriend's mother would 'mourn the loss of her son', and calling her
a 'pathetic piece of s**t'.
He is then said to have sent Donna two emails -
one aof which used the biblical verses Proverbs 6 and 7 to describe what Donna
says Mark Royer was going to do to her boyfriend.
The court documents say
the verses speak about the perils of adultery and the fury of jealous husbands,
referring to 'an arrow piercing the liver' and 'revenge'

approached by thirsty celebs pursuing her as a love interest simply for a photo

Brick Squad rapper Slim Dunkin’s alleged killer, Young Vito has turned
himself into police on Monday (Dec. 26th)been taken into custody after the
28-year-old Atlanta rhymer turned himself into authorities on Monday (Dec.
26).
28-year-old Young Vito (born Vinson Hardimon) was named a suspect in the
shooting death of rapper Slim Dunkin (born Mario Hamilton). Young Vito shot and
killed Slim Dunkin on the evening of December 16th. The two reportedly got into
an altercation over a piece of candy which ended up in Vito shooting and killing
24-year-old Dunkin.
Sometime after 2 p.m., attorney Derrick Wright brought Hardimon to Atlanta
Police headquarters, Quinn said. From there, Hardimon was taken to the Fulton
jail.
Quinn pointed out that Hardimon’s appearance had changed significantly
after the shooting, comparing his picture in the wanted poster to the man who
showed up Monday.
Young Vito is no stranger to legal trouble being charged
with aggravated assault, child cruelty and carrying an illegally concealed gun
in the past.

VH1 Ruined My Career When They Aired That Fight! (She Also Says She NEVER Called
The Cops)
"Love & Hip Hop" newcomer Erica Mena is pissy at VH1. After Monday
night's fight episode involving Kimbella Vanderhee, Erica says VH1 has now
ruined her "career" for actually airing the clip. She also called in to Power
105 to explain the fight and revealed she never actually called the cops. The
foolishness after the cut....
Now....Erica was pissy at Kimbella for cheapening the video vixen
community--ironic choice of words right?--by doing photoshoots and videos for
free. And for only doing "modeling" that consists of showing off her near naked
assets. Funny since a Google search of Erica Mean images turns up the exact
same type of images. But I digress.
Erica told TMZ that she tried to get the champagne glass throwing, hair
pulling, face slashing fight scene pulled because it doesn't put her "image" in
a good light.
...The 24-year-old tells us, she was completely misrepresented in the
episode -- blaming show editors for unfairly portraying her as the bad guy ...
and Kimbella as an angel.
Erica tells us, "My whole image in my career is now
affected by this. I wanted them to pull this
clip because I don’t want to show this side of me."
Interesting. So she didn't think the fact she was fired by Kourtney
Kardashian on an episode of "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami" because she was
unprofessional and missing work to get her son and other ish? That didn't
"affect her career"? Oh...ok.
Erica also called in to Cherry Martinez's show on Power 105 to explain that
she hooked up with Yandy to get help with her music career. And she said she's
not a violent person, but she was mad people were drawing a comparison between
her and Kim. And about her calling the cops--she said she was alone in an
unfamiliar place so she needed someone to help her retrieve her items like her
phone, which were taken by the VH1 staff. She said she didn't really call the
cops, but an ambulance showed up because they both had lacerations.
