#RHOA: Peter Thomas Has been released from Prison, But he’s Not Clear of the crime Yet
Cynthia Bailey's ex-husband Peter Thomas has been released from federal prison ... though he's not a free man just yet.
The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is out of FCI Miami, TMZ has learned ... and, he's now under community confinement supervision of the Miami Residential Reentry Management Office, according to the Bureau of Prisons website.

This means he's either living in a residential reentry center -- AKA a halfway house -- or he's held in home confinement ... it's unclear which.
Regardless, his situation is a lot more relaxed than federal prison ... because Thomas shared a video on Instagram from his new digs Thursday night, dancing to T.I.'s hit track "Let 'Em Know."

Remember ... Thomas pled guilty to one count of failure to pay trust fund taxes in December 2024. Thomas allegedly owed the IRS $650K from his employees' wages in trust fund taxes connected to a restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Thomas was sentenced to 18 months behind bars ... and, he reported to FCI Miami August 1, 2025. Now, just a little more than six months later, it seems his hard time is over.
PT's scheduled to be released from RRM Miami in August 2026 ... then, he will begin 2 years of supervised release. He's been ordered not to drink to excess or use narcotics after getting out as well.

Peter was also ordered to pay $2.5 million in restitution to the IRS.

#NewMusic from Bruno Mars “The Romantic” (Stream)

Bruno Mars released his fourth solo studio  album, The Romantic, today via Atlantic Records, marking his first solo project in a decade.
The album, now available across all  streaming platforms, is anchored by the single “I Just Might,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The release is also supported by the track “Risk It All,” for which an official music video—co-directed by Mars and Daniel Ramos—was released simultaneously. To mark the launch, Mars held an iHeartRadio premiere and a companion livestream event on TikTok.

Album Pre-orders

Global promotional activations accompanied the release, including mobile flower trucks and “love lock” installations in various cities, alongside a pop-up location, “The Romantic Flower Shop,” in Los Angeles.

The Romantic follows a period of significant commercial success for Mars. His 2024 collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Die With A Smile,” set a Spotify record as the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams and maintained a position at the top of the Billboard Global 200 chart for 18 weeks. His 2024 collaboration with ROSÉ, “APT.,” also saw extensive chart performance, spending 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. “APT.” was recognized by the IFPI as the biggest-selling global single of 2025 and earned a “Song of the Year” win at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The track is currently nominated for three categories at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

STREAM HERE:
Mars’s career milestones continue to accumulate as of 2026. In January 2025, he became the first artist in Spotify history to exceed 150 million monthly listeners. His catalog includes seven RIAA-certified Diamond singles, with “Just the Way You Are” holding the record for the highest-certified song in RIAA history at 21x Platinum. Additionally, his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, holds the record for the longest-running studio album by a solo male artist on the Billboard 200, having remained on the chart for over 345 weeks. To date, Mars has secured ten No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100

#HipHopNews: California Supreme Court Denies Tory Lanez’s Request to Review His Shooting Conviction
Tory Lanez's shooting conviction stands, as the California Supreme Court denies his request for a review of his criminal case.
On Wednesday (Feb. 25), the California Supreme Court rejected Tory Lanez's defense petition to review his conviction in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, according to a disposition update on appellatecases.courtinfo.ca.gov. The latest ruling comes three months after the California Court of Appeals affirmed his conviction.

The case stems from his July 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion during an argument in the Hollywood Hills. Tory was found guilty in December of 2022 of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

The 33-year-old Canadian rapper-singer was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August of 2022. Despite his continued claims of innocence, Tory's attempts to overturn the verdict and secure a new trial have failed. He is eligible for parole in August of 2029.
In a December 2025 interview with NBC News, Tory insisted that he was wrongfully convicted.
"I believe not only that I was wrongfully convicted, but the amount of new evidence that has emerged since that trial, I think, has been overwhelming," he stated.

When asked about a message he'd want to send to Megan now, Tory expressed that he doesn't hate her and would prefer to speak to her in person rather than through an interview.
"I think that I wouldn't say something directly to her, I would like that moment to happen in person," he said. "We've both gone through a lot. There's this connotation that, like I share this hatred for her, but I don't. I'm genuinely past that. I'm at a place of healing in my life. I'm at a place of taking accountability for the things that I did wrong. And when I talk about my case, I don't want it to be taken as me coming for her because it's not that. I'm just asking for somebody in the system to look at my case and look at the evidence and ask if this was fair."

Tory is currently incarcerated at California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Ayatollah Khamenei Reportedly Killed in Joint U.S.-Israeli Attack, Trump Declares

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead following a large-scale military operation carried out by the United States and Israel, according to President Donald Trump and multiple Israeli officials. A senior U.S. intelligence source also confirmed the development.

“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” Mr. Trump posted on social media.
The president said signs of internal fracture are emerging within Iran’s security apparatus. He stated the U.S. is “hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us.”

Despite the reported breakthrough, military action is set to continue. Mr. Trump wrote that the “heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!”

Earlier in the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed to what he described as “growing signs” that Khamenei is “gone.” In a phone interview with NBC News, Mr. Trump said he had “spoken to a lot of people beyond and we feel certain, we feel, we feel that that is a correct story.”

He added that Khamenei “killed many people” and has “destroyed a country.”
“The people that make all the decisions, most of them are gone,” he said.
Israel’s military announced that seven Iranian commanders were killed in the strike, including Ali Shamkhani, a close adviser to Khamenei. Iran now faces uncertainty as questions mount over who will assume leadership of a nation left politically shaken and militarily strained.

'RHOSLC' Star Mary Cosby Shares Heartbreaking Tribute to Son Robert Jr. Days After His Death

Mary Cosby is returning to social media following the tragic death of her son Robert Jr.
The 53-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s son passed away earlier this week at the age of 23 from a possible overdose.

Days later on Friday (February 27), Mary took to Instagram to share a heartbreaking tribute to Robert Jr.
“#godfirst #love #forever I’m Going to miss you bubs❤️🙏😢” Mary wrote alongside a throwback photo of herself sitting beside Robert Jr. when he was a child.

Following the news of Robert Jr‘s death, the stars of RHOSLC and other Real Housewives shows have sent their love and condolences to Mary and her family.
While filming for season 7 of RHOSLC was scheduled to begin this week, it has been reported that production has been put on pause for the time being.

Nicki Minaj Faces Legal Setback: Second Attorney Withdraws from $10 Million Defamation Case
The legal challenges for rap icon Nicki Minaj are intensifying as she has reportedly been “dumped” by her legal counsel for the second time in a high-stakes defamation battle.
According to court documents, attorney Matthew Abbott has filed a motion to withdraw from representing Minaj in a $10 million lawsuit brought against her by a fan, Tameer Peak.

Abbott’s decision to step away comes only a year after he took over the case following the withdrawal of Minaj’s longtime attorney. The new legal filings cite a “communication breakdown” between the rapper and her counsel as the primary reason for the exit. In the legal world, such a filing often suggests a significant disagreement or a lack of cooperation that prevents an attorney from effectively providing a defense.

The lawsuit, spearheaded by Tameer Peak, stems from a series of public accusations made by the rapper. Peak alleges that Minaj: Falsely accused him of criminal conduct and stalking in September 2025. Slandered his character in August 2024.

Peak claims these public statements have caused irreparable damage to his reputation, leading to the massive $10 million demand. This isn’t the first time Peak has taken legal action against the star, as the two have a documented history of legal friction. With two attorneys now having exited the case, Minaj must secure new representation to navigate the looming litigation. Failure to find a replacement quickly could lead to delays or potentially a default judgment if the court’s deadlines are not met.

Representatives for Nicki Minaj have not yet issued a public comment regarding Abbott’s withdrawal or the status of the ongoing lawsuit.

Michael Jackson Estate Sued for Sex Trafficking

Four adult siblings filed a federal lawsuit Friday accusing the estate of the late pop star of child sex trafficking. Michael Jackson The suit names The Michael Jackson Company and related entities. The complaint alleges years of abuse that began when the plaintiffs were children.

The plaintiffs — identified in court papers as Edward Cascio, Dominic Cascio, Marie-Nicole Porte and Aldo Cascio — say Jackson used fame and money to groom them. They claim he isolated them from adults, gave drugs and alcohol, and exposed them to pornography. The suit describes assaults in multiple countries and private homes. The filing seeks damages exceeding $200 million, according to the family’s attorney.

One passage in the complaint recounts alleged abuse beginning when some plaintiffs were as young as seven. The siblings say they feared retaliation if they spoke. The suit also seeks to void a prior settlement, which plaintiffs’ lawyers called unlawful.

Marty Singer, an attorney for the estate, rejected the allegations in blunt terms. He told media outlets, “This lawsuit is a desperate money grab by additional members of the Cascio family.” The estate noted past statements in which some family members previously defended Jackson.

The estate said earlier legal steps protect it from some claims. A judge in January suggested a prior settlement could bar new lawsuits. But the new complaint asks a court to set that settlement aside. The parties will return to court in early March for related hearings.
Jackson died in 2009. His career and finances remain tied to ongoing litigation. The estate has faced multiple suits alleging abuse. Some of those claims produced high-profile trials and settlements in recent years. The new filing adds another chapter to a long legal record.

Lawyers for the siblings said their clients delayed filing to protect themselves. Their attorney described the complaint as the start of a bid for accountability. “They deserve justice and a chance to be heard,” the plaintiffs’ counsel said in a statement.
The estate did not immediately file a detailed court response. Federal filings list the Los Angeles federal courthouse as the venue. Court calendars show motions and hearings stemming from the complaint.

Ex-Marvel Star Makes Acting Comeback After Assault Conviction In a Right Wing Media Produced Film
Former Marvel actor Jonathan Majors will star in an upcoming unnamed project produced in part by right-wing media company The Daily Wire, a few years after Majors was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2023.

Daily Wire co-founder and podcaster Ben Shapiro is listed as a producer on the project, the title and plot of which are “being kept under wraps for now,” according to a press release shared with HuffPost.

However, the release did say the story is in “in the vein of” action movies such as “Red Dawn” and “Toy Soldiers.”
Caleb Robinson and Mike Richards are executive producing the film alongside Majors. Kyle Rankins is directing the project based on his screenplay and has already begun production in South Carolina.
The movie will be streaming exclusively on DailyWire+, home to conservative programs such “The Ben Shapiro Show,” and “The Matt Walsh Show.”

Majors, who was dropped by Marvel Studios after being cast as supervillain Kang the Conqueror, has not made many movie appearances since his 2023 conviction for assaulting Grace Jabbari.
His film “Magazine Dreams” did get a theatrical release last year, but production had been completed before his criminal conviction. It was originally slated for a 2023 release.

The actor avoided jail time and was sentenced in 2024 to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program and probation.
The Daily Wire previously made headlines for its documentary, “Am I Racist?”, a commentary on diversity, equity and inclusion starring conservative podcaster Matt Walsh.

Wiz Khalifa's Romanian Drug Possession Appeal Denied

Wiz Khalifa may be headed to prison after his appeal for drug possession was rejected by a Romanian court this week.
The decision comes after the rapper filed to annul his nine-month sentence last month. Wiz (real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz) was arrested by Romanian police in July 2024 after allegedly smoking cannabis during his performance at Beach, Please! Festival. Prosecutors claim that the 38-year-old was in possession of more than 18 grams of the illegal drug.

Wiz appeared to have owned up to the incident in a post on X from July 14, where he apologized to the country for "lighting up on stage." "They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time," he continued.
Last April, Wiz was initially fined 3,600 lei ($830 USD) for the "illegal possession of dangerous drugs" before it was appealed for a higher sentence. The rapper’s appeal was deemed unfounded and the case is ongoing.

Wiz has been impacted by back-to-back bad news as of late, and announced earlier this month that his father, Laurence W. Thomaz, had died.
"I will always love him, miss him and be [grateful] for the things he taught me. He went out like a true yogi, at peace and on his own time. I love you forever Laurence W. Thomaz," Wiz shared on X.
The rapper then hopped on his Instagram Stories to share photos with his father from his childhood. "Love you big guy," he captioned them.

Wiz had a close relationship with his father, who previously spoke about how the birth of Wiz’s son, Sebastian, changed the rapper for the better.
"Sebastian’s matured him, but it’s made him more serious and understand: ‘I have to be here; I can’t do the dangerous, reckless things I was doing before: I have this little guy to look out for,’” Thomaz said in a 2019 documentary.

Netflix Walks Away From Warner Bros. Deal, Clearing The Way For Paramount
After months as the favored candidate to purchase Warner Bros. studio and streaming assets, Netflix has formally declined to increase its $82.7 billion offer, effectively ceding the transaction to Paramount and leaving one of the most consequential media deals in Hollywood history in the hands of the federal government.

In recent days, Paramount raised its offer and improved its terms, prompting WBD’s directors to determine that Paramount’s proposal constituted a superior bid under the existing merger agreement. That determination triggered a four-business-day period during which Netflix could revise its offer. Netflix didn’t need that much leeway, and the window closed today with the company choosing not to do so.

In a press release issued Thursday, Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters stated that the company would not match Paramount Skydance’s “Superior Proposal.” At the price required to stay competitive, Netflix said the transaction was “no longer financially attractive,” and thus it will not amend its existing merger agreement with WBD.

“The transaction we negotiated would have created shareholder value with a clear path to regulatory approval,” Netflix’s statement reads. “However, we’ve always been disciplined, and at the price required to match Paramount Skydance’s latest offer, the deal is no longer financially attractive, so we are declining to match the Paramount Skydance bid.”

Under the agreement announced last December, Netflix had planned to buy Warner Bros.’ studio and streaming businesses, including HBO Max, along with its vast content libraries, in an $82.7 billion cash-and-stock deal, later amended to an all-cash deal. The proposal was publicly endorsed by WBD’s board even as Paramount Skydance mounted a competing hostile bid.

Netflix’s decision today represents a decisive end to its pursuit of Warner Bros. and effectively clears the path for Paramount’s bid to move forward, barring legislative intervention. Shortly after Netflix backed out, an aide to Corey Booker, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary antitrust subcommittee, issued a statement asking Paramount CEO David Ellison to honor a previous offer to testify before Congress about the proposed acquisition.

For the animation industry, the development underscores the volatility of the ongoing consolidation reshaping Hollywood, as legacy studios and streaming giants continue to adjust to new industry realities. The long-term implications for Warner Bros.’ creative divisions and for the broader animation and entertainment landscape are uncertain.

While Netflix had promised that little would change at Warner Bros. under its proposed deal, Paramount has been less reassuring. When Ellison’s Skydance completed its merger with Paramount Global in August 2025, it was soon followed by large-scale layoffs affecting roughly 2,000 U.S. workers. Given the enormous debt that would come along with a Warner Bros. purchase under the winning bid, it seems likely that something similar may be on the horizon at the studio, which just celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023.
