#RHOA: Pettycoat Junction: Nene Leakes and her man go on double date with Simon Guobadia and his new woman
Nene Leakes has made it clear whose side she is on amid the divorce between her Real Housewives cast mate, Porsha Williams, and Porsha's estranged husband, Simon Guobadia.
Nene Leakes made headlines last week when she slammed ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Porsha Williams for refusing to film a Netflix show together. Leakes then said her “little sis” Porsha Williams “is not a star.”
Now, in a move that is sure to raise eyebrows, Nene has linked up with Porsha's estranged husband Simon Guobadia and his rumored new boo.
Nene then took to Instagram Stories to share photos of her and her partner Nyonisela Sioh posing with Simon Guobadia and his rumored new flame Yassmin Ibrahim.
As reported, Porsha Williams filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia last month after just 15 months of marriage.
Before the divorce, Nene had been vocal about how she, Porsha Williams, and their partners would double date.
Considering how close Nene and Porsha were, it came as a surprise when Nene decided to go on a double date with Simon and his new partner.
Before the date, on Friday, March 15, Nene called out Porsha for allegedly refusing to film with her on Netflix's The Upshaws.
"Earlier this week I was told by my management company that the Netflix scripted series The Upshaws were interested in casting me for a part," Leakes, 56, explained on her Instagram Stories.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared with her followers that she was "excited to do it" because it is a comedy and features stars like Mike Epps and Wanda Sykes.
"I haven't seen Porsha. We always have a good laugh when we see each other, so I was like, 'Ok, me and Porsha are going to kill this part,'" Leakes said of her former Bravo castmate.
She recalled flying to Los Angeles and heading to the studio to talk with the wardrobe department. They had her pick a different outfit than the one she originally chose to wear since Williams would be wearing a similar outfit. Leakes said she agreed but didn't see Williams at the show's rehearsal.
"Porsha never came," she claimed. "We wrapped for the evening. I went back to my hotel, and when I got to my hotel, production called me and asked me if I had any issues with any Housewives because they were going to be recasting the other position."
Leakes said that she told production she didn't have any issues with any of the Housewives and that Williams' role was ultimately given to Cynthia Bailey, another Atlanta alum.
"I was later told that Porsha did not show up to work and had said that she did not want to work with me. That we had had issues from the past, and she did not want to work with me," Leakes claimed, noting that she's "more than disappointed."
Leakes said that the two "double-dated a few times," have spent time at each other's homes, and recalled taking trips together to Miami, Dubai and Las Vegas.
"I am shocked to hear that Porsha would go to a production company and say that she doesn't want to work with me because we've had a lot of issues in the past," added Leakes. "What lots of issues did we have in the past?"
Leakes said she texted Porsha Williams, 42, before filming her video and was sent a reply saying she's going through her divorce and that Leakes “didn't reach out” to her.

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that at 12pm today, March 17, 2024, our beloved Senior Pastor Sandra Elaine Crouch transitioned into the arms of the Lord. Beyonce's Publicist Subtly Defends Singer After Erykah Badu's Shady Post!
Beyonce Knowles has had her publicist come to her defense following Erykah Badu's shady social media post. The "Break My Soul" hitmaker was subtly defended by Yvette Noel-Schure after the "Window Seat" singer apparently dissed her over her hairstyle.
On Wednesday, March 20, Yvette made use of Instagram to upload a video, which consisted of photos highlighting Beyonce's stunning looks with braided hair over the years. The publicist seemingly attempted to prove that Queen Bey did not copy Erykah's hair.
With the footage, Yvette apparently hinted that Beyonce has used the hairstyle since way back. One of the pictures showed the songstress having her long black hair braided when she was a kid. Another snap saw her with braided long blonde tresses when she was a member of Destiny's Child.
Along with the clip, Yvette could not help but shower the "Halo" singer with praise. In the caption of the post, she gushed, "She slays. She slays. Now. Then. Always. act ii COWBOY CARTER 3.29." She also let out a hashtag that read, "#criticswithoutcredentials."
The post came shortly after Erykah, who is known for her braided locks, gave her reaction to Beyonce's new "Cowboy Carter" album cover art. Reposting the artwork on Instagram Stories earlier on Wednesday, she simply wrote, "Hmmm," prompting many to believe that she accused Beyonce of copying her signature beaded hairdo.
In the artwork itself, Beyonce looked different as her dark-colored tresses were styled in braids. Her locks were long enough to reach her lower thighs. In addition, her bangs were also braided with red and white hair accessories.
Later that day, Erykah called out Jay-Z via X, formerly known as Twitter. She asked the "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" rapper to come to her rescue and defend her against his wife's fans, famously known as Beyhive.
The "Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip-Hop)" singer tweeted, "To Jay Z . Say somethin Jay . You gone let this woman and these bees do this to me ??" In the same tweet, she uploaded a video featuring a message that read, "And I might hate you for the rest of my life for real. Because you knew. You knew."
'Beetlejuice' Sequel: First Photos Show Michael Keaton And Jenna Ortega In Costume!
Prepare for another haunting adventure as the first images and plot details for the highly anticipated "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" sequel have been unveiled.
The long-awaited follow-up to Tim Burton's cult hit brings back Michael Keaton as the iconic bio-exorcist Beetlejuice, his signature black-and-white striped suit, and mischievous grin intact.
Joining Keaton is a stellar cast, including Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara, reprising their roles as Lydia and Delia Deetz. "Wednesday" star Jenna Ortega steps into the fold as Lydia's rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, while Justin Theroux plays the enigmatic Rory. Other additions include Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, and Willem Dafoe, who plays a deceased B-movie action star turned afterlife police officer.
The sequel's plot revolves around an unexpected family tragedy that brings the Deetz family back to Winter River, the unsettling setting of the original film. Lydia's life is upended when Astrid discovers a mysterious model of the town in the attic, accidentally opening a portal to the Afterlife.
As trouble brews in both realms, it's only a matter of time before Beetlejuice's name is uttered three times, unleashing his unique brand of mayhem upon the living and the undead.
Burton, who helms the sequel, describes Keaton's return as "a beautiful thing" and praises his effortless re-embodiment of the beloved character. He explains that the sequel's emotional hook centers around the three generations of Deetz women, Lydia, Delia, and Astrid, exploring the evolution of their characters over the years.
The first-look images showcase the Deetz family at a funeral, each dressed in somber black. Catherine O'Hara's hat, Jenna Ortega's jacket, Winona Ryder's glasses, and Justin Theroux's sharp coat add to the eerie and atmospheric ambiance.
Burton reveals that he and Keaton have discussed a sequel over the years but only pursued it with the right emotional connection and a compelling story. He also hints at a return to the handmade visual effects that made the original so memorable.
"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is set to bewitch audiences on September 6, 2024. With anticipation running high, fans can expect more thrilling details and sneak peeks as the film's release date approaches.
'RHOP' Star Karen Huger Charged with DUI After Car Crash in Maryland!
Karen Huger has been charged following her car crash earlier this week.
On Tuesday night (March 19), the 60-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac star was driving her 2017 Maserati in Potomac, Maryland when she reportedly struck a median and crosswalk sign at an intersection before continuing on and colliding with a parking sign off the roadway, authorities told TMZ. While the car was badly damaged, Karen was not injured.
The police reportedly described Karen as driving in an “aggressive manner.”
While Karen was not arrested after the crash, TMZ reports that she was charged with one count of DUI, which notes that she has to make a mandatory court appearance to answer for it.
She’s also facing an additional DWI charge along with negligent and reckless driving, driving above the speed limit, and driving with a suspended registration.
On Wednesday (March 20), Karen shared a statement with TMZ about the crash.
“Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes during this very frightening experience. I am still in shock from last nights incident, but grateful to be alive today,” Karen said. “With the passing of my Beloved Mother, Grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mothers Day approaching it has felt more like a tsunami.”
She then went on to share her side of the story, saying, “Last night I met a girlfriend for dinner, we talked and brought up some very emotionally sensitive topics. I was crying on my way home and saw a car heading right for me. I swerved to avoid the head-on collision, hit the divider and then a tree. I’m hurt, bruised up a bit, but so grateful I am alive! I did receive citations, one of which was unrelated to the incident which is understandable, but what was most surprising is that the car that almost hit me just drove away!”
Karen concluded, “I would like to stress, it’s important to understand your emotional state when driving and may this be a reminder to all to use their seatbelts, my Mother may be my Guardian Angel but the seatbelt saved my life.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac air on Sundays at 8pm ET on Bravo
Kanye West’s Rolling Loud Had Featured a Brawl Involving Transgender Woman
Kanye West is no stranger to causing a stir, and it seems some of his fans are great at stealing the spotlight — the wrong way!
A brutal fight broke out in the mosh pit during the Hip-hop icon's performance at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles, with the disturbing video capturing an alleged transgender woman battling it out with a man.
The viral footage of the brawl shared on X showed what appeared to be a trans woman in a sheer lingerie-style top and jeans throwing hands against a male concertgoer.
It is unclear what started the dispute, but people could be seen trying to hold back the trans woman, but they pushed them off to attack the other party.
Safe to say, this wasn't the best move on their part as the man came packing with stellar defense moves, quickly pushing back against the trans female.
The woman took numerous fists to the face and quickly became a battered mess — yet they kept holding their own and coming back for more. Despite the blood gushing down their face, the trans female refused to give up.
Other Concertgoers Seemingly Enjoyed The Show
As the brawl progressed, the crowd surrounding the fighters seemingly split into three groups. The first appeared to be enthusiastic fans, who excitedly cheered as they watched the fray while others tried to separate the duo.
Meanwhile, a few actively supported the trans woman and went as far as pushing them to continue fighting while shouting "WorldStar." Their chants might have influenced the prolonged fight, which got incredibly violent
The trans woman continued to get increasingly battered by the man, from frequent punches to getting repeatedly flipped over and thrown onto the ground. Despite turning into a bloody mess, they refused to quit and kept coming at the man.
Surprisingly, the duo eventually stopped fighting when Ye's powerful rapping skills echoed through the mosh pit. The crowd seemed to remember why they were there in the first place and began dancing to the music.
The battered trans woman was no exception as they dropped their beef with the man to participate in the Rolling Loud festivities — with blood streaming down their face. It is unclear if any arrests were made or how bad the person's injuries were.
Nonetheless, it is safe to say Ye saved the day, but the internet had other ideas. The viral video received mixed reactions from fans, with some trolling the trans woman while others sympathized with their plight.
Fans React To The Kanye West Brawl
The critics and jesters had a field day coming for the trans woman in the comments. One X user claimed, "Bro was bleeding but no period." Another attacked their identity, tweeting, "Just two grown men fighting it out."
"That ain't no transgender; that's a dude dressed as a girl," a third observed, while a fourth chimed, "Those are just two men squaring up and handling bidness." Not everyone was against the trans female, with one X user noting:
"Oh, I just know the whole crowd was being disgustingly bigoted and hateful towards her [sad face emoticon]."
"And she held her mf ground," another supporter penned. Someone echoed similar sentiments, writing, "They/them lowkey got them mfs even tho they bloody asl."
A third slammed other concertgoers, declaring, "It's sad how the crowd reacts. This is what we do to people who are injured and hurt? Scream for more…?"

Michael Jackson's Son Blanket Takes Grandma Katherine to Court Over Estate Disagreement
The Jackson family is in the midst of a legal disagreement, and it involves Michael Jackson‘s youngest child Bigi (aka Blanket) and his grandma Katherine.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old son of the late King of Pop is asking the courts to stop his grandmother from using funds from Michael‘s estate to fund a legal battle.
Bigi and Katherine were reportedly working together to oppose what has been described as “a huge business transaction.” While unclear, the outlet speculated it was over a $600 million deal involving Michael‘s musical catalog.
The pair were unsuccessful in stopping the deal, and now Katherine reportedly wants to appeal the ruling using funds from the estate. However, Bigi doesn’t think that any effort would be successful and doesn’t want to put the estate’s money toward continuing to fight the ruling.
While he doesn’t want the estate to cover an appeal, Bigi did approve of Katherine using the estate to cover initial legal costs.

‘The Challenge’ Star Nelson Thomas Says ‘A Lot Of People Turned Their Backs On Me’ As He Speaks On Alleged Treatment From MTV Following Foot Amputation & DWI
Earlier this month, Nelson Thomas’ right foot was amputated. The surgery took place almost one year after he was involved in a life-changing incident. For those who may be unaware, while purportedly driving under the influence in March 2023, he lost control of his Audi A4 and slammed into a bridge in Austin, Texas. The impact caused the vehicle to burst into flames. Thankfully, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver KJ Osborn – and three other bystanders – just happened to be riding past the incident and were able to pull Nelson Thomas, 35, from the burning vehicle.
Police officers who reported to the scene said in court documents that they noticed Nelson had “bloodshot, glassy eyes.” They also said he later admitted to consuming “2-3 mixed alcoholic drinks” before the crash.
He was later placed under police custody at the hospital after reportedly failing a field sobriety test. However, he was released once it was determined that “the treatment for his injuries would take longer than expected,” according to court documents.
Several months later the influencer was arrested and officially charged with a DWI. A subsequently obtained search warrant for the toxicology results revealed at the time of the crash, he had a blood alcohol content of 0.178 percent, according to reports. He was soon released after posting bond.
During a recent live stream with fellow MTV reality TV star Nany Gonzalez, Nelson was asked if BMP helped “at all” with the insurance money. Bunim Murray Productions is the entertainment production company behind many MTV reality series. After a slight hesitation, Nelson candidly replied,
“They didn’t, they did not. And…what I expected from MTV was [for them] to reach out to me and say, ‘Hey, how can we help you?’ But, when the whole DWI came out, a lot of people turned their backs on me, and it sucked because, at that point in my life, I was still fighting for my life in the hospital, Nany. And my lawyer was legally saying, ‘Look Nelson, I know you want to come out and say this, but you can’t legally say this because you’re still fighting in court.’ So it really hurt me, man. …When [the DWI] came out, everybody just turned they backs on me, like I’m supposed to be this perfect guy. Like, I can’t make mistakes, and that hurt me the most…that really hurt me.”
No word just yet on Nelson Thomas’ future with the network.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams Accused of Sexual Assault by Former NYPD Aide in New Lawsuit
A former NYPD aide is suing New York City Mayor Eric Adams, alleging he sexually assaulted her in 1993 while they both worked for the Transit Bureau when he demanded sexual acts in exchange for helping her get a promotion she was previously denied, according to a lawsuit filed Monday.
The plaintiff in the lawsuit alleges that Adams, who at the time was working in the New York City Police Department’s transit division and was then with the Guardians Association, a fraternal order of the police department, used his position to proposition her.
The suit follows a summons filed in New York County Supreme Court in November under the state’s Adult Survivors Act. Adams has denied the allegations and said he does not know the accuser.
The plaintiff is also suing the NYPD Transit Bureau and the NYPD Guardians Association. CNN has reached out to the parties for comment.
The suit alleges the plaintiff was passed over for promotions while working as an administrative aide for the Transit Bureau despite passing promotional exams and purportedly being told she was “next in line” for a promotion. She ran into Adams, who at the time was a “high-ranking member” at the fraternal organization, and told him of her issues getting a promotion, according to the lawsuit.
Adams offered to drive her home and said they would talk more in-depth about her issues, the lawsuit says.
Rather than drive her home to Brooklyn, Adams drove her to a “remote, vacant lot,” according to the suit. It was there that Adams allegedly asked for oral sex in exchange for his help and exposed himself to her, according to the suit.
“While we review the complaint, the mayor fully denies these outrageous allegations and the events described here; we expect full vindication in court,” New York City Corporation Counsel Hon. Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix said in a statement. “Additionally, in 1993, Eric Adams was one of the most prominent public opponents of the racism within the NYPD, which is why the suit’s allegations that he had any sway over promotions of civilian employees is ludicrous.”
Adams denied the allegations while speaking to the media in New York on Tuesday.
“This did not happen. It did not happen. I don’t recall ever meeting this person during my time in the police department,” said Adams, who also denied the allegations when they first surfaced in November.
The lawsuit says the plaintiff rebuffed all of Adams’ advances, which also included him trying to force her hand to touch his genitals and masturbating in the car. He eventually dropped her off at a Manhattan subway stop and never drove her home, the suit alleges.
She is suing Adams for sexual assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and is suing the City of New York and the NYPD Transit Bureau for negligence. She is also suing all defendants for gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and enabling a crime of gender-motivated violence.
The plaintiff is no stranger to a courtroom: She wrote a book available for purchase online on how to file lawsuits by representing yourself in court. She writes in the description of the book that she leans on “years spent fighting” in various courtrooms from small claims all the way to the US Supreme Court
But her lawsuit against Adams was filed by a law firm
“I am proud to file this complaint on behalf of my client, a woman whose strength astonishes me,” said attorney Megan Goddard, who filed the suit Monday. “She knew that filing this lawsuit would cause her significant personal challenges but she did so nevertheless because she believes sexual abusers must be held to account, no matter who they are. Her fearlessness and quest for justice are as inspiring as they are important.”
Oprah Winfrey Comes Clean on Her Weight-loss Drugs Journey
*On Wednesday evening Oprah Winfrey spoke with Gayle King and Charles Barkley about why she decided to turn to weight-loss drugs after years of focusing on diet and exercise.
Back in December, Winfrey publicly disclosed her use of weight loss medication and expressed solidarity with those who also rely on prescription drugs such as Ozempic, Mounjaro, Victoza, and Wegovy.
“For the first time after taking the medication, I realized that all these years, I believed those who didn’t struggle with dieting were simply exercising superior willpower. But now I understand: it wasn’t about willpower; they just weren’t consumed by thoughts of food like I was,” admitted Winfrey, reflecting on her own experience.
Acknowledging the impact of weight-loss medication on her own life, Winfrey revealed: “I’m no longer preoccupied with what my next meal will be.” She incorporates the medication into her routine alongside activities like hiking 3 to 5 miles daily, running, strength training, and maintaining a balanced diet.
