#MAGFAB: Hip Hop Artist future for GQ 2022

With a new album set to arrive later this month, Future is ensuring fans are well-fed in 2022. Adding to the assortment of offerings is a freshly unveiled GQ cover story, complete with some insight on the artist’s idea of happiness, as well as what fans can next expect from him musically.

A chunk of the discussion in question takes place at the Jungle City studio in Manhattan, where Future previews his next chapter for interviewer Elliott Wilson. Addressing the period of time that’s passed since his last solo full-length release, Future cited a newfound happiness as having inspired the pause.

“That’s because I’m happy,” he said. “I’m genuinely happy with life. And there was a time where I was only happy when I was on the stage, and in the studio. Like it was my escape.”

Later, Future touched on the vulnerability and versatility he’s bringing to his new songs, while Wilson teased the tracks as showing more reliance on “aggression” than hooks.

Future’s collaborative mastery also receives a good bit of attention here, with Drake quoted in the piece as touting his What a Time to Be Alive co-crafter as a “relentless, spontaneous workhorse” whose “free-flowing genius” mixes well with Drizzy’s more calculated approach.

Pro Football Prospect Kyle Hamilton Tells Pierce Simpson His 3 Keys for Peak Performance

“Anytime we work in the studio, the level, the energy—we’re trying to perfect this shit but still stay raw, still stay gritty, and still be moving at the speed of the universe,” Future said of his work with Drake, which includes the No. 1 Certified Lover Boy single “Way 2 Sexy” with Young Thug. “It’s something that you have to work at, but it’s something that you have to find too.”

Future’s relationship with the artist formerly known as Kanye West is also detailed, with the Freebandz founder noting that he and Ye have been close for years. In fact, he pointed out, Ye flew him to Paris “in 2011 or 2012” to work on music together. More recently, of course, Future was enlisted by Ye to serve in an executive producer capacity on his Stem Player-exclusive Donda sequel.

As fans will recall, Ye declared Future “the most influential artist of the past 10 years” during a November 2021 Drink Champs interview. Responding to these words of well-earned praise, Future explained how West’s remarks helped him gain a new understanding of why he was flown to Paris more than a decade ago.

“When he said that, I understood why he called me to Paris, even though I didn’t understand it at that time,” he said. “I understood why we had certain conversations. I understood him being a part of ‘I Won.’ Even him having me write on certain [Ye] albums that people don’t even understand I wrote on.”

Naturally, the frequently Future-adjacent topic of toxicity was also broached, with the rapper briefly pushing back against his association with the word. First, Future revealed he was not actually aware of Kevin Samuels’ work prior to him serving as a guest in this year’s “Worst Day” video. In fact, Future claimed, such knowledge beforehand would have resulted in him “probably” not selecting him for the appearance.

Speaking more generally on the “toxic” label, Future said, “People have their own definition of what toxic is. [These women] all were toxic to me. They just don’t want to admit it.”

Following the February release of the aforementioned “Worst Day,” fans can expect a new full-length from Future on April 29. Confirmed to be making appearances on the as-yet-untitled release are Ye and BabyFace Ray. In July, Future is headlining the 2022 edition of Rolling Loud Miami. While he’s the headliner for Saturday (July 23), Ye will headline Friday’s lineup, and Kendrick Lamar—who also has a long-teased new album on the horizon—will headline Sunday.

#RHOA: WOW!!! NeNe Leakes Files Lawsuit Against ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Team Alleging Racist Work Environment

"NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated – if not, encouraged," the suit says.

Former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta NeNe Leakes sued the companies behind the show on Wednesday, alleging that they fostered and tolerated a hostile and racist work environment.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in Atlanta says Leakes, who is Black, complained to executives about years of racist remarks from fellow housewife Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who is white, but that only Leakes suffered consequences.

It names as defendants NBCUniversal, Bravo, production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original, executives from the companies and Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen, but not Zolciak-Biermann.

“NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated – if not, encouraged,” the suit says.

Emails sent to representatives of the defendants and Zolciak-Biermann seeking comment were not immediately returned.

Leakes, 54, a TV personality and actor whose legal name is Linnethia Monique Leakes, spent seven seasons as one of the central stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta between 2008 and 2020.

It alleges that during the first season, which aired in 2008, the cast was planning to attend a barbecue, and housewife Kim Zolciak-Biermann, responded to the idea with “words to the effect of: ‘I don’t want to sit around with NeNe and eat chicken.'” The suit says the statement “perpetuated an offensive stereotype about African-Americans.”

The suit says in 2012 during the fifth season, Zolciak-Biermann made “racially offensive and stereotypical” comments about the new home of housewife Kandi Burruss, calling her neighborhood a “ghetto” and perpetuating a racial stereotype in an offensive comment about whether Burruss needed a swimming pool.

That same year, the suit says, Zolciak-Biermann used the N-word to refer to Leakes and other of the housewives after a dispute with them, the suit alleges. It also alleges Zolciak-Biermann falsely implied that Leakes used drugs and called her home a “roach nest.”

The suit says after Leakes complaints to the executives overseeing the show, they “did not terminate their relationship with Zolciak-Biermann, nor take any other meaningful action to put an end to her racially-offensive behavior,” and if anything rewarded her by giving her her own spinoff show.

“From the day the series began filming, NeNe was the target of systemic racism from co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, which was tolerated by Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen and other executives,” Leakes’ lawyer David deRubertis said in a statement.

Joe Habachy, another Leakes’ attorney, said via email that “not a day goes by that NeNe doesn’t wake up with an onslaught of overwhelming emotions as a direct result of these unfortunate and avoidable occurrences.”

The lawsuit alleges that her complaints of racism led in part to Leakes being forced off the show in 2020 before its 13th season.

The suit says Leakes’ negotiations for the season came as the Black Lives Matter movement was gaining major momentum, with Leakes a vocal supporter.

Executives sought to sideline Leakes from talking about the cause, keeping her off early episodes in which the housewives would address BLM, the suit alleges.

“As the Black Lives Matter movement swept our nation, Mrs. Leakes — Bravo’s historically most successful Black female talent — should have been embraced by NBC, Bravo, and True,” the suit says. “Instead, NBC, Bravo, and True forced her out of the ‘house she built,’ denying her a regular role.”

The suit alleges that the defendants’ actions violate federal employment and anti-discrimination law, and it seeks monetary damages to be determined at trial..

Dwayne Haskins Wife Kalabrya Shares He Was Walking To Find Gas When Struck By Truck On Florida Highway

The wife of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins is sharing more details about his final moments.

As previously reported, Dwayne Haskins was killed on April 9 after being hit by a dump truck while crossing a highway on foot in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he had been practicing with his teammates. According to his wife, Kalabrya Haskins, he was attempting to get gas. Kalabrya, who was in Pittsburgh at the time of the incident, had just finished speaking with her husband via telephone before he was killed. In a call to the 911 operator, she said,

“He said he was going to call me back after he finished putting the gas in. I kept calling and kept calling. He wasn’t answering. Eventually, after 10 minutes of calling the phone, eventually it cut off. It’s not working now. I had his location. I just want somebody to go in the area and see if his car is there and if he’s OK and if anything happened to him.”

The operator told Kalabrya there was a report of an accident near where she said her husband got out of his car, but at the time, she couldn’t confirm if he was involved.

It was reported that Haskins was improperly in the roadway and the driver of the dump truck was cleared of having performed any activities that led to the collision, per the final crash report. He was also hit by a second car that attempted to avoid him but struck him on the right side undercarriage.

In her first Instagram post shared since her husband’s death, Kalabrya said,

I want to thank everyone for their continuous outpour of kindness and love for my husband during this extremely difficult time. For those that have asked for clarity, regarding official services, there will be a public celebration of life for my husband, Dwayne Haskins, Jr., where his legacy will be honored with stories told from teammates, coaches, friends, family and loved ones.

Haskins signed as a free agent with the Steelers in 2021 and spent one season with the team. In 2019, he was a first-round draft pick of the Washington Football Team. A former Ohio State standout, Haskins threw 54 touchdowns during his time with the Buckeyes. In a statement released following Haskins’ death, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin remembered Dwayne Haskins as a hard worker and great teammate. He said,

“I am devastated and at a loss for words with the unfortunate passing of Dwayne Haskins. He quickly became part of our Steelers family upon his arrival in Pittsburgh and was one of our hardest workers, both on the field and in our community. Dwayne was a great teammate, but even more so a tremendous friend to so many. I am truly heartbroken.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Dwayne Haskins’ family at this time.

Sofia Richie Announces Engagement to Elliot Grainge

Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge are engaged, the model announced via Instagram on Wednesday.

“Forever isn’t long enough @elliot,” the bride-to-be captioned photos of Grainge down on one knee at the Four Seasons Hualalai.

In the pics, the two were surrounded by white flowers and candles that were provided by Uhi Uhi Flower House on Kona island. A second photo was a close-up of them kissing with a focus on the diamond rock he gave her.

Friends and family of Richie, 23, and Grainge, 28, quickly filled the comments with their congratulations.

“Omgggg congratulations babe!!!! ?,” Lori Harvey wrote.

“What!!!!!! Wow!!!!!! ????????????,” reacted Simon Huck.

Newlywed Nicola Peltz also added a series of red-heart emojis.

Richie’s sister Nicole shared a photo of her and Sofia posing together on her Instagram Story and joked, “Can’t wait to find ways to make this about me.”

Page Six reported in April 2021 that the daughter of legendary musician Lionel Richie was dating the music executive. (Grainge is the son of Universal Music Group chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge.).

“They have been friends for years and Elliot is also close with Sofia’s brother, Miles,” a source told Entertainment Tonight of Richie’s brother. “It’s very nice for Sofia to date someone who her family approves of and likes.”

The source added, “Sofia and Elliot are happy together and having fun.”

Days later, Richie and Grainge became Instagram-official.

The relationship came after Richie’s brief romance with Matthew Morton, the son of famed restaurateur Peter Morton, and a nearly three-year relationship with Scott Disick, 38.

Sources say the two had known each other for years, as Richie’s dad, Grammy-winning artist Lionel Richie, was a close friend of Lucian Grainge. The source told E! News that Lionel Richie approved of the relationship

“He thinks they are a perfect match and it was very natural progression for Sofia and Elliot to get together,” the source said, after the couple confirmed the relationship. “It’s going well.”

Blac Chyna tells jurors she was being 'silly' when she wrapped an iPhone cord around Rob Kardashian's

Blac Chyna wants to be perfectly clear about that time when she wrapped an iPhone cord around fiancee Rob Kardashian's neck.

They were "just being silly" while celebrating the greenlighting of Season 2 of "Rob & Chyna," she told a Los Angeles jury on Wednesday, recounting the caught-on-Snapchat incident from 2017.

And as for that other moment of togetherness, on FaceTime, when she pointed Kardashian's gun at him and said, "If he ever leaves me, I'll get him?"

"We were being silly," she explained again to jurors. "He thought it was funny," she said of Rob Kardashian.

The exotic dancer-turned-model took the stand as the first witness in her lawsuit against the Kardashian family, and even on direct examination, she spent much of her time playing defense.

Chyna, whose legal name is Angela White, is seeking $100 million in damages from the Kardashian-Jenners. She claims they unfairly trash talked her to E! Network executives five years ago, after she and Rob Kardashian split. The family's campaign of lies got her "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" spinoff series cancelled, she alleges.

Much of Wednesday was spent debunking that supposed trash talk, including that Chyna was physically abusive to her fiance.

Rob Kardashian was "so sweet," she told jurors, who she faced dressed in black business attire in a downtown LA courtroom.

"He loved Kingy," she said of his warm connection to her son by rapper Tyga. "They were so funny together" as the relationship progressed, she said.

Family matriarch Kris Jenner was instrumental in putting together the "Rob & Chyna" deal with E! executives, Chyna said.

Jenner even negotiating an $11,700 per-appearance fee for King, and a $5,850 per-appearance fee for Dream, Rob Kardashian and Blac China's own child together, and whose birth via C-section had, naturally, been televised.

Chyna said she would confide with Jenner about Rob Kardashian's

depression

and jealousy, and about how "he would take my phone" and ask about old messages from male friends.

A year later, in 2017 after the couple split, Jenner was so intent on sinking "Rob & Chyna," that she messaged E! Network executives and producers urging they "ditch the bitch," lawyer Lynne Ciani had told jurors in openings on Tuesday.

"Kris Jenner set out to have 'Rob & Chyna' cancelled," Ciani said. "And she brought in her three daughters to help accomplish that."

The Kardashian family's lawyer countered that since splitting with Rob Kardashian, Chyna has continued to clutch desperately at the family's money and spotlight.

"The evidence is going to show you that Miss White would say or do anything to be part of this family," the lawyer, Michael G. Rhodes, said in openings.

But the real reason "Rob & Chyna" was cancelled by the E! Network was that the couple had split up, he told jurors.

"There is no 'Rob & Chyna' show if there is no Rob and Chyna," he said.

Meanwhile, Chyna's mother, who calls herself "Tokyo Toni," has launched on Instagram what amounts to her own spin-off courtroom reality show.

Toni has so far been banned from the courtroom for a Monday post "threatening" Kris Jenner and investigated by the FBI after saying "I'm gonna get that judge" in a livestream on Tuesday, according to PageSix.

Toni defended the remark as "comedy."

Ex-Chicago cop will not face federal charges for killing Laquan McDonald

Federal authorities have opted out of prosecuting Jason Van Dyke, the former Chicago cop behind the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. The decision was made after speaking with the McDonald family, who were reportedly “in agreement not to pursue a second prosecution,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office explained in a news release. The teen’s relatives have denied speaking to anyone about the matter.

Van Dyke was one of few officers to respond to reports of car break-ins in 2014. Upon his arrival, he shot at McDonald, who’d been brandishing a knife in hand. Authorities initially believed the gunfire was justified, but dashcam footage later showed that the teen hadn’t posed a threat. Instead, he was captured walking away from Van Dyke at the time the shooting took place.

Van Dyke was charged with first-degree murder, becoming the first Chicago police officer to get a murder charge for an on-duty shooting in half a century. He was found guilty of second-degree murder and aggravated battery, additionally receiving an 81-month sentence. He was freed from state prison in February on good behavior, which prompted demands from activists, who called for prosecutors to charge him on the federal level. The attorney’s office admitted, however, that the process of prosecuting him in federal court would have been far more difficult than it was in state courts.

“Federal prosecutors would have to prove not only that Mr. Van Dyke acted with the deliberate and specific intent to do something the law forbids, but also that his actions were not the result of a mistake, fear, negligence, or bad judgment,” the office wrote, per CNN. “It requires federal prosecutors to prove beyond a reasonable doubt what Mr. Van Dyke was thinking when he used deadly force and that he knew such force was excessive.”

The office continued, adding that the judge would then have to consider the time Van Dyke spent in prison, factors surrounding his early release and his future as a police officer if he were to be convicted. “Given these factors, there is a significant prospect that a second prosecution would diminish the important results already achieved,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

A$AP Rocky Arrested For Assault With A Deadly Weapon

A$AP Rocky was arrested as he arrived in L.A. on Wednesday morning.

The rapper flew into LAX on a private jet from Barbados where he was met by cops at the terminal and taken away in handcuffs. According to NBC News, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a November 2021 shooting that had previously been unreported in the media.

Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, had been under investigation by the LAPD for the Nov. 6 shooting in Hollywood. The shooting victim, who survived, later told police that Mayers approached him with a handgun on the street. The victim claimed Mayers shot at him three to four times and grazed his left hand.

LAPD made the arrest with help from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team. Rocky’s attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed that his client had been arrested.

Just days earlier, Rocky had been vacationing in Barbados with Rihanna. He was spotted jet skiing and hanging with friends and family during the couple’s island getaway.

This comes in the wake of rumors that Rocky cheated on his pregnant girlfriend with shoe designer Amina Muaddi. However, Muaddi denied the “unfounded lie” in a statement.

UPDATE: A$AP Rocky has been taken to LAPD HQ for questioning and is expected to be booked soon, reports TMZ.

Officers arrived at his L.A. home and searched the property after obtaining a warrant. They broke down his front gate and left with a box of potential evidence.

Cops claim A$AP knew the alleged victim and that the alleged shooting happened following an argument between the two. The LAPD identified Rocky as the suspect after corroborating information given to them by the victim.

Florida Senate Votes To Strip Walt Disney World of 55 Year Old Special District

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and state government officials are continuing on with removing the special district that governs Walt Disney World.

The Governor announced on Tuesday (April 19) that the special session taking place that day would be extended to file a law that would eliminate special districts created before 1968, specifically targeting Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District, which was signed in 1967.

On Wednesday (April 20), it was announced that the Florida Senate has voted in favor of the law, according to Deadline.

This news comes following Disney’s denouncing the Parental Rights In Education Bill, aka the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, that DeSantis signed into law at the end of March. After it was revealed he signed it into law, Disney spoke out and said they would help repeal the law.

For those who don’t know, the Reedy Creek Improvement District was established in 1967 and it’s purpose is to “support and administer certain aspects of the economic development and tourism within District boundaries.”

The district is responsible for providing essential public services like fire protection, emergency medical services, potable water production, treatment, storage, pumping & distribution, reclaimed water distribution, chilled and hot water systems, wastewater services, drainage and flood control, electric power generation and distribution, and solid waste and recyclables collection and disposal, as well as operating and maintaining public roadways and bridges. Basically meaning that Disney takes on these services themselves, instead of the local governments of Orange and Osceola counties.

The Reedy Creek Improvement District services the Walt Disney World resort and other areas nearby, and is governed by a five member board elected by landowners.

Should the district fully be dissolved, this would mean that Orange and Osceola counties would have to assume the assets and liabilities that Disney currently operates as part of the special district.

‘Basketball Wives’ Season 10 Teases Brittish Williams’ Felony Fraud Case & Ex-Besties Brandi & Malaysia Meeting Up

Season 10 of VH1’s long-running reality TV show Basketball Wives is set to debut on May 16.

Veteran cast members Jennifer Williams, Jackie Christie, and Malaysia Pargo will be returning for another drama-filled season…

and this time, the stars will be reunited with a few BBW alumni, including fashion designer Angel Brinks, and Brandi Maxiell, DJ Duffey, Brooke Bailey, and Brittish Williams.

Judging by the teaser, it looks like some of the cast will form strong friendships with one another, while others may have a hard time getting along.

One clip in the promo captures ex-best friends Brandi and Maylasia preparing to see one another after ending their seemingly tight bond in Season 6 almost five years ago. It’s still unclear as to what caused the fallout but the two celebs have since unfollowed one another on Instagram amid the alleged split.

Could the former besties be gearing up to make amends? We’ll just have to wait and see.

This season will also follow Angel as she welcomes a new baby with her hubby and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Roccstar, but there might be tension brewing about the buzzing boutique owner’s love life.

“Why are you having a conversation about my relationship?” she asks her co-stars in another scene.

As for DJ Duffey, it appears as though the buzzing turntablist who’s French Montana’s trusted tour DJ, is at a crossroads between her busy music career and motherhood. In 2020, the influencer welcomed her second child, a daughter named Shadi, with basketball agent Iman Shokuohizadeh.

Meanwhile, Brittish Williams will be dealing with an indictment.

As previously reported the reality star/entrepreneur was indicted by a federal grand jury back in September on five felony charges of misuse of a Social Security number, four charges of bank fraud, three charges of making false statements to the IRS, three charges of wire fraud, and three charges of aggravated identity theft. STL Today reports that Brittish was arrested and pleaded not guilty to those charges in U.S. District Court.

Longtime castmember Evelyn Lozada won’t be returning this season. As BOSSIP previously reported, the star said she’s ready to move on after 9 jam-packed seasons with the franchise.

“I think that it’s time for me to open up the universe to other things,” she told E! News back in June. “It’s not the most positive energy. Now I have a conscience about what I say and what I do and what my kids are going to see,” Lozada added.

The show’s executive producer and basketball wife MVP Shaunie O’Neal gushed about the forthcoming season, telling fans in a statement:

“I cannot say how proud I am to have created and produced such a successful television franchise with VH1. Basketball Wives has gone above and beyond my wildest dreams. How awesome is it to say ‘tune in to SEASON 10?”

We can’t wait!

Season 10 of Basketball Wives hits VH1 on May 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Make sure to join the conversation using #BasketballWives on social media and follow the official Basketball Wives Instagram account to stay updated with all the juicy tidbits this season.

Kendrick Lamar Spotted at Los Angeles Dodgers Game

Fresh off providing fans with the best news they’ve heard in years, Kendrick Lamar hit up a Los Angeles Dodgers game.

Indeed, as seen in footage and photos from Tuesday night’s game against the Atlanta Braves, Kendrick was in attendance alongside pgLang-partnered artist Tanna Leone. Per Dodgers Nation, Kendrick was seated in the right-field pavilion area.

Of course, Kendrick is a noted Dodgers supporter, having previously thrown out the first pitch at a game back in 2015. Following the ceremonial first pitch, Kendrick also treated attendees with a brief interview discussing his new (at the time) album, To Pimp a Butterfly. Revisit that below.

This week, mere days after the fifth anniversary of DAMN., Kendrick announced the title and release date of his new album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Notably, the announcement took the form of a press release “from the desk of oklama,” marking the use of a name Kendrick has been teasing over the past year.

An accompanying oklama site sees “theheart” utilized in a url capacity, a detail that’s been interpreted by some fans as potentially being a sign that Kendrick’s “The Heart” series could also be continuing.

The album is out on May 13. In the meantime, here’s everything we know about this new chapter in Kendrick’s artistic journey.

Pooh Shiesty Sentenced to 63 Months in Prison Over 2020 Shooting

Pooh Shiesty will spend the next several years behind bars.

On Wednesday, the 22-year-old rapper—born Lontrell Williams Jr.—received a 63-month prison sentenced in his federal firearms case. U.S. District Judge Kevin Michael Moore announced the decision Wednesday in Miami Federal Court, more than three months after Pooh Shiesty pleaded guilty to a firearms conspiracy charge stemming from an alleged armed robbery at a Florida hotel. The rapper was accused of shooting 28-year-old Brandon Cooper in October 2020, when he allegedly met up with the victim to purchase marijuana and sneakers.

Prosecutors said the illegal transaction took a drastic turn, when Pooh Shiesty and his friends took the items without paying. Pooh Shiesty was accused of shooting Cooper in the buttocks before he and his crew fled the scene in a rented McLaren. As they drove away, a bag containing more than $40,000 in cash fell from the vehicle. Police managed to link the money to the rapper by referencing a serial number on a bill that was posted on Pooh Shiesty’s Instagram.

Though Cooper survived the incident, Pooh Shiesty was ultimately charged with four counts related to the shooting; but under the 2022 plea agreement, prosecutors agreed to drop three of the original counts, including one that carried a maximum sentence of life in prison. He was facing an eight-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to the single firearms conspiracy charge.

“Listen, nobody’s happy to go to prison, but he was happy the judge listened to our argument, and the judge received the argument well. He was satisfied with the outcome,” his attorney, Bradford Cohen, told Rolling Stone. “We’re happy with the decision of the court.”

According to the outlet, Pooh Shiesty was given credit for the one year he’s spent behind bars. He could be released in three and a half years with good behavior.

Netflix Subscribers Threaten To Leave Platform If It Adds Commercials: ‘If You Add Commercials I’m Gone’

Netflix subscribers are threatening to leave the streaming platform if it adds commercials.

For as far as most of us have known, Netflix has never had commercials or ads on the streaming platform and has seemingly always been against the idea of adding them. Back in 2015, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings stated that the addition of commercials wouldn’t happen.

“No advertising coming onto Netflix. Period. Just adding relevant trailers for other Netflix content you are likely to love,” wrote in a 2015 Facebook post.

But, it looks like things might be changing as Netflix claims to be taking an interest in consumers who’d like cheaper streaming options.

“Those who have followed Netflix know that I have been against the complexity of advertising, and a big fan of the simplicity of subscription,” said Hastings during a company earnings call, The New York Times reports, per Newsweek. “But as much as I am a fan of that, I am a bigger fan of consumer choice. And allowing consumers who would like to have a lower price, and are advertising-tolerant, get what they want makes a lot of sense,” he continued.

The news that Netflix might incorporate ads isn’t sitting too well with subscribers.

“Hey @ netflix, I’ve been a member since 2006 but if you add commercials I’m gone. It’s really that simple. I left cable for your service because of ads,” said Michael Donohoe, head of product Rest of World.

Another person wrote: “RIP Netflix. I’m not paying $20 a month to watch ads.” Another Twitter user wrote: “YouTube has grown to make me hate ads. And now Netflix?”

Tiffany Haddish Reportedly Transitioning To Music, “If T.I. Can Do Comedy, I Can Do Music”

Well, it looks like T.I isn’t the only one trying out new things. It has been reported that Tiffany Haddish is working on some music.

According to Kenny Burns from V-103’s “The Kenny Burns Show,” Haddish is working on music with Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and more.

The comedian posted on Instagram working with producers in Atlanta, and many wondered what Haddish was up to.

Burns caught up with Tiffany before her flight, and she reportedly said, “If T.I. can do comedy, I can do music.”

Tiffany Haddish has been doing her thing in films and on the stage as a comedian. It would definitely be interesting to see how she breaks into the music industry.

Ohio Doctor Acquitted After Being Accused Of Killing Patients With Fentanyl

An Ohio doctor who was accused of killing patients with fentanyl has been acquitted.

This past Wednesday, 46-year-old William Husel was acquitted in the murders of 14 patients who overdosed on the opioid drug fentanyl between 2014 and 2018. Prior to his arrest, Husel worked at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus. He started working at Mount Carmel Health System in 2013, and in June 2019, he was charged with 25 counts of murder.

The charges came after two hospital pharmacists issued reports over their concerns that Husel was prescribing patients with strangely high doses of fentanyl. In one instance, Husel reportedly gave a patient a dose of fentanyl that was 20 times higher than what was recommended, according to the Food and Drug Administration, Franklin County prosecutors. The New York Times reports Husel would sometimes prescribe these high doses – described as “comfort medication” – to his severely ill patients.

On Wednesday, Husel was acquitted after a review of the evidence by the jury.

“The jury, after review of all the evidence, was not convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that William Husel was guilty of any charges submitted to them,” said G. Gary Tyack. “We accept the jury verdict.” While Franklin County prosecutors argue that Husel was abusing patients rather than providing them with comfort to patients who don’t have much longer to live.

There were 35 cases involving Dr. Husel that were evaluated over suspicion from Mount Carmel. Husel was acquitted of 14 counts of murder.

“This verdict speaks to not only William, but to all of those doctors and nurses out there who are attempting their best to give comfort care in a very difficult situation,” Mr. Baez said. “They don’t need to be looking over their shoulders, wondering if they’re ever going to get charged with a crime.”

Trump Ordered to Pay Omarosa Manigault Newman $1.3 Million in Legal Fees Over Book Lawsuit

Donald Trump’s presidential has been ordered by a court arbitrator to pay former ‘Apprentice’ star Omarosa Manigault Newman 1.3 million in legal fees.

Trump’s team sued Manigault Newman over her book “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.” The memoir, in which she called Trump “a racist,” documented Manigault Newman’s time working for the Trump administration and campaign.

Trump’s campaign filed a complaint over the book and argued that Manigault Newman, who was a former staffer, violated a nondisclosure agreement she signed back in 2016 by moving forward with the tell-all. The lawsuit was filed in August 2018 on the same day that “Unhinged” was released. In September of 2021, the arbitrator sided with Manigault Newman, calling the NDA “overbroad, indefinite, and unreasonable,” according to CNN. Manigault Newman previously worked as director of African-American outreach for Trump’s presidential campaign and was later named director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison. She left in 2017.

After being awarded the 1.3 million in legal fees, John Phillips, Manigault Newman’s lawyer, called the decision the “largest known attorney fee award against a Political Campaign or President we can find,” per CNBC. Phillips continued, “hopefully will send a message that weaponized litigation will not be tolerated and empower other lawyers to stand up and fight for the whistleblower and vocal critic against the oppressive machine.”
