The Weeknd has shared several updates in regards to his forthcoming album, which he confirmed is “a full body of work.”
Taking to Twitter to share some info, the XO Records head revealed that he’s “really proud of this one” and that he’s “massaging it now, being sweet to it. giving it some tlc.” Other tweets about the project read “we gettin’ there” and “just so there’s no confusion, it’s a full body of work,” adding that “the tour is gonna be MADNESS.”
His upcoming record will mark the followup to his stellar After Hours release. The Weeknd previously stated that the album cycle of After Hours is over, “Like I said before, the After Hours are done and the dawn is coming.” He also shared in April that he created something special while in quarantine, which was supported by a September 2020 interview where he said, “I might have another album ready to go by the time this quarantine is over.”

The “Ball If I Want To” rapper met up with the rap veteran in New York this week and got a chance to chop it up. He shared a photo of 50 with his arm around him while reflecting on their hours-long meeting.
“Somebody I been studying for a MINUTE lent me a few hours of his time today,” he wrote. “Ni**as so scared to let me in the room they fu**ed around & let me end up in the room w/ @50cent BIG MISTAKE!”
He also thanked his idol for sharing his knowledge and wisdom. “Beyond grateful for the game. Couldn’t have come from a better source.”
50 plans to continue to serve as a mentor to the 29-year-old rapper and guide him throughout his career, just as he tried to do with his protégé Pop Smoke before his tragic death.

Jussie Smollett Maintains Innocence As He Heads Into Court On Felony Charges, Accused Of Lying To Police Over 2019 Hate Crime Against Him!
It’s been about two and a half years since Empire star Jussie Smollett was charged for allegedly faking a hate crime against himself and lying to police.
But his court battle is far from over.
As previously reported, Jussie Smollett told police that white men attacked him in Chicago. He alleged they put a noose around his neck and poured bleach on him. He also said they yelled “This is MAGA country” and called him the n-word. But his story fell apart when brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundair alleged to police that the actor paid them to attack him. They said he was disappointed with his salary at Empire at wanted attention so he could get a raise. He was later charged for lying to police.
While the first set of charges against him were dismissed concerning the 2019 incident, he was charged again with six counts of felony misconduct for allegedly lying to police. Despite his legal woes, he still says he was attacked and maintained his innocence as he walked into court today. He also compared the upcoming proceedings to a “dog and pony show,” according to Fox News.
He has already pleaded not guilty to the new charges.
In September, he urged for the case to get dismissed altogether.
He claimed that “illegal and incompetent evidence” was collected from Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundair.
A motion for dismissal stated, “…There is no legitimate reason why the Osundairo brothers were not called to provide live testimony to the special grand jury, particularly when they live locally in Chicago, were available and cooperating with the OSP, and reportedly met with the OSP for hours only one month earlier.”
It then alleges that a reason the brothers weren’t called in for live testimony is because the:
“OSP did not want to suborn further perjury by the Osundairo brothers, it did not want to risk having the brothers make additional contradictory statements prior to trial, and it did not want to allow the jurors their statutory right to question the Osundairo brothers about the incident.”

Meghan Markle Creating Coming-of-Age Animated Series for Netflix!
Archewell Productions, the company founded by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, is developing an animated Netflix children’s series, “Pearl,” created by the Duchess of Sussex herself.
“Pearl” intertwines adventure, fantasy and history as it tells the coming-of-age story of Pearl, a 12-year-old girl who is inspired by a number of influential women in history.
“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges,” Markle said in a press release. “I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history. David Furnish and I have been eager to bring this special series to light, and I am delighted we are able to announce it today.”
“Pearl” will be the first animated series from Archewell Productions.
“Animation is the perfect medium to bring this fun, heartfelt and inspiring story to life,” Carolyn Soper, the series’ executive producer, said. “Pearl is a character in which everyone will recognize a piece of themselves while absolutely rooting for her as she discovers so much about the world, both past and present, and how she fits into it. I am thrilled to be working with Meghan and such an illustrious team.”
“Pearl” follows Archewell Productions’ first Netflix project, “Heart of Invictus,” a docuseries produced in partnership with The Invictus Games Foundation. The series was made to spotlight the competitors and their journeys to the 2020 Invictus Games, now set to take place in 2022.

Candace Parker is making history by becoming the first WNBA Basketball Player to be featured on the cover of NBA 2K.
According to ESPN, the six-time All-Star will appear on the NBA 2K22 cover for the WNBA 25th anniversary special edition released on September 10.
“I grew up a video game fanatic, that’s what I did, to the point where my brothers would give me the fake controller when I was younger where I think I was playing and I wasn’t,” the Chicago Sky star said. “All I wanted to do was just be like them. As a kid growing up, you dream of having your own shoe and dream of being in a video game. Those are an athlete as a kid’s dreams. Peacock has slotted Thursday, August 5, for the premiere of Kevin Hart’s talk show Hart to Heart. New one-hour episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays, starting with the first three episodes on August 5. You can watch a teaser below.
In Hart to Heart, Hart sits down with guests ranging from musicians to A-list actors who represent his interests and influences, in the comfort of his virtual wine cellar for an uninterrupted hour of insight, truth, enlightenment and humor. Hart to Heart “will dig deep to find out what makes these world-class influencers tick, their goals and aspirations, their journey to stardom and the obstacles they overcame to reach their lofty status,” per Peacock. Guests will be announced each week ahead of the drop.
The show falls under Hart’s multi-year deal with Peacock via his Laugh Out Loud network.
Hart to Heart is produced by LOL Studios. Kevin Hart, Jeff Clanagan, Candice Wilson Cherry, Thai Randolph, and Todd Yasui will serve as executive producers. Leslie Small directs all episodes.
Summer Walker Shares Pictures Of Her Baby Girl!
Summer Walker is ready to show pictures of her daughter with London on da Track. The recording artist uploaded a candid of her little one to Instagram on Wednesday (July 14).
“Baby bubbles,” Summer captioned underneath a candid featuring her baby girl. More than 300,000 fans loved the picture. “So beautiful,” one fan said after seeing the candid on a different Instagram platform. “She looks like her mommy,” another social media follower said.
Summer Walker and London on da Track welcomed their baby girl in March. The little one’s arrival came after Summer confirmed her expectancy last November.
One fan was excited to learn of the birth of Summer’s daughter to the degree of starting a page that featured an alleged candid of the newborn. Summer clarified that she was not the author of the page and went on to tell her supporters that she had no plans to share pictures of her daughter at the time.
“So I guess a fan made this page,” Walker shared. “But let’s be very clear,” the celebrity mom added. “There will be no pictures of my child on the Internet.” Summer went on to tell fans and critics, “Let’s all forget I was pregnant and move on with our lives so I can enjoy my little angel in peace.”
London on da Track has also been enjoying life as a parent. It was just a few days ago that the recording artist shared a candid of himself holding his and Summer’s daughter. “Big Daddy duties 24/24,” London told his fans. Some gave the celebrity father praise for being an involved father. Summer, however, was quick to give further insight into the picture.
“That man pulls up on the weekend with his mama and his gifts for a day or two [and] takes his pics,” Walker revealed. “But I do all the work when I’m not at work,” the celebrity mom added. “So once again, suck a d*ck.”

The master bedroom features sweeping views of Coldwater Canyon, plus a walk-in closet, marble bath and a private terrace.
Rihanna scooped up the mansion for $13.8 million, according to the report.

‘Loki’ Has Been Renewed for Season 2 on Disney+!
‘Loki’ is coming back for a second season on Disney +.
via Complex: As Deadline reports, the Loki renewal was announced through the end credits of the Season 1 finale. A case file for the beloved antihero teases, “Loki will return in Season 2.”
No further details have been confirmed, but Hiddleston is expected to reprise his role as the titular God of Mischief. Loki head writer and executive producer Michael Waldron also co-penned the script for next year’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so it’s quite feasible he’ll stick with Marvel and be involved with the next season. As for who else will return from the stacked cast featuring Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and Wunmi Mosaku, well…we’ll give you a little more time to watch the Season 1 finale first.
Loki is the first live-action Marvel series to get officially renewed for a second season so far. There’s been no definitive word on the future of WandaVision or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, although both have continuations on the way in the form of movies. Development has started on a fourth Captain America film—which will continue the story of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes—and Elizabeth Olsen will return as Wanda Maximoff in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange sequel.
Marvel’s next Disney+ series is the animated anthology What If…?, which explores some of the MCU’s most important moments if they went down differently. That arrives on Aug. 11, and will be followed by a live-action Ms. Marvel show later this year.

That Girl Lay Lay stopped by The Big Tigger Morning Show, where she addressed the recent controversy between her and Kim Kardashian over a TikTok video she made with North.
Lay Lay, real name Alaya High, recently posted to Instagram that Kardashian had reached out to her and asked that she remove a TikTok she made at their home. In the caption, she also expressed her dismay with the music industry.
“@kimkardashian texted me to take down the new TikTok video with North in it. I don’t know why… They invited ME to their house,” she captioned the post. “This industry SUCKS! I asked what did I do wrong and they didn’t answer me. So confused on what this industry is… just trying to make good positive music.”
Sitting down exclusively with Tigger, the 14-year-old clarified that her parents actually run her accounts. Her father, Acie, chimed in to confirm that he is the one that runs her Instagram and made the post.
The rapper explained that she had been at the Kardashian house twice. During those visits, she and North recorded dance videos to Lay Lay’s songs. The first time the videos were approved for posting, but the Kardashian team says the second one was not.
“We didn’t think anything of it for them to say that I couldn’t post the dancing video because I already posted two [other] videos. We didn’t think it would be a problem this time,” Lay Lay said.
Her father revealed that he had personally spoken to Kardashian, but things went left when Tracy Romulus stepped in. He said, “she was really, really nasty,” and it was triggering.
He expressed that despite Lay Lay’s first encounter with so-called “industry friends,” she does her best to maintain a positive outlook.
Richard Sherman's Wife Told 911 Dispatcher He Threatened to Kill Himself!
In a harrowing 911 call, Richard Sherman's wife expressed that her husband was entertaining suicidal thoughts before his arrest early Wednesday morning. Authorities believe what transpired leading up to the arrest was a drunken night that resulted in him crashing his SUV and rendering it undrivable. Not to mention threats to hang himself.
The audio is said to be Sherman's wife, Ashley Moss, who can be heard telling the emergency operator that her husband had been heavily drinking and was "being aggressive" with her uncle as well as “threatening to kill himself … and sent text messages to people saying he is going to hang himself.”
More details have emerged in relation to five-time Pro Bowler Richard Sherman's burglary domestic violence arrest.
The NFL free agent was reportedly taken down by a police K9 unit after attempting to break into a family member's home. It was later revealed that Sherman is also being investigated for a possible DUI and hit-and-run after a car registered in his name was involved in a single-car crash involving a construction-zone barrier.
Despite Sherman's arrest and DUI investigation, his wife Ashley Moss confirmed Redmond public information officer James Perry's claim that no one was harmed during the alleged crash and attempted burglary.
"At this time we're going to make no statements, except he didn’t harm anybody," Moss said. "My kids were not harmed in the incident. He's a good person and this is not his character. We're doing alright, just trying to get him out. I want people to know no one was injured."
Richard Sherman will have to wait until Thursday to appear in front of a judge where he will be formally charged.
