HIPHOPNEWS: Wu-Tang Clan Drop New Single, New Album In October
New Wu-Tang Clan BACK! Besides dropping a new single, “People Say,” featuring Redman, the WTC will be dropping a new album in October. Entertainment One (eOne) and RZA announced the forthcoming release of Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues, on October 13 via 36 Chambers ALC.
While RZA will serve as executive producer, the production will be handled by DJ Mathematics.
“For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by Wu–Tang Clan members and other prominent MCs,” said The Abbot via a press statement. “With The Saga Continues he’s created a masterpiece. We at 36 Chambers ALC are honored to work with Mathematics to put out a great piece of art.”
Reportedly there will be 10 songs with appearances from RZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and ODB, as well as Redman and Sean Price among others.
36 Chambers ALC was founded by RZA and Mustafa Shaikh and is being touted as “lifestyle company” that will house their ventures in not only music but publishing, art and fashion as well (a vegan accessories line, The Pineapple Collection, is coming soon).

By the looks of things, retirement was treating Floyd Mayweather Jr. well.

OOOPS! Facebook, Instagram Suffer Outages On Saturday Morning
Facebook and Instagram went off-line early this morning, drawing screams of agony from addicted fans of the services and a few subtle digs from Twitter users.
Facebook, the world’s largest social network, was not loading as of early this morning in the Pacific time zone. Reports of outages in the UK and northeast and midwest United States also abounded, with some getting messages when they tried to access Facebook that claimed unspecified technical difficulties.
Facebook acknowledged the problem with a short statement picked up by Fox News. “Earlier today, a technical issue caused some people to have trouble accessing Facebook services. We quickly investigated and have been restoring service for everyone. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.”
DownDetector.com, a site that monitors online outages, reported more than 2,500 users having an issue with Facebook. Most of the complaints concerned logging in, but more than 40 percent reported a total failure to load.
Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, had a similar problem. More than 3,000 of its users could not access the site today. Facebook was back up in the Los Angeles area shortly after 7 a.m. andon The East Coast a little later.

Jesse Williams’ estranged wife demands he keep their kids off social media
The divorce between actor Jesse Williams and Arn Drake-Lee seems to keep getting messier and messier by the day and according to the latest news about the beefing exes, the “Grey’s Anatomy” star and his estranged wife are now feuding over their kids’ involvement in social media.
According to new reports, Drake-Lee is upset that Williams is posting photos of their kids, son Maceo Williams and daughter Sadie Williams, on his Instagram page. Sources say that Drake-Lee filed new documents in their ongoing divorce battle demanding that Williams stop posting pics of their kids online because she believes that it could potentially put them in harm’s way with overzealous fans.
Drake-Lee argues that with her estranged husband’s fame and popularity there are likely some overzealous fans amongst his 2.2 million followers that might try to harm their kids as a way to get at the Hollywood star.
This isn’t the first time Drake-Lee has complained about Williams’ posts about their kids. Earlier this month, Drake-Lee reportedly wrote in her divorce documents that she believes that Williams is posting pics of their kids as a way to drum up sympathy from fans and to create a “buffer for the negative talk about him in the media.”
Sources say that Williams responded to the documents by saying that he’s just exercising his First Amendment rights, but Drake-Lee claims that their children are not celebrities and have a right to privacy and safety.
Drake-Lee also reportedly argues that it’s fine if Williams shares photos of their kids with family and friends, but she doesn’t want any fans to have that much access to the kids since they can never really know how mentally stable any of Williams’ fans are.
Since Drake-Lee reportedly filed the documents, Williams has deleted of a number of photos of their kids from his social media pages.

Judge Dismisses Embryo Suit Between Sofia Vergara And Nick Loeb
Sofia Vergara has been locked in a legal battle with former fiancé Nick Loeb after he filed a suit in 2015 to protect, and bring to term, two female embryos, which they had created and planned to use with a surrogate during their relationship.
However, a judge in Louisiana, which is the only state where embryos have legal rights of their own, has ruled that the court has no jurisdiction in the case because the embryos were conceived in California, TMZ reports.
Sofia and Nick had signed a contract at the ART Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills when they created the embryos in 2013, which stated neither could use the embryos without the consent of the other.
However, Nick’s lawsuit argued the agreement should be deemed void as it didn’t say what should happen if they split, and it violated California code and Louisiana law.
Nick had previously filed to protect the embryos in California, but reportedly dropped that case after a judge ruled in favor of the actress’ legal team, who had applied to force the businessman to identify two former lovers who had had abortions during his relationships with them.
He had appealed the decision but was turned down.
Though Nick, 42, now most of his time between New York and Florida, he still serves as a reserve police officer in Louisiana, and is a graduate of Tulane University in the state.
Hopefully Loeb will finally let this go.
Hurricane Harvey's death toll expected to rise; residents urged to stand on roofs of flooded homes
Harvey continued lashing southeastern Texas with torrential, life-threatening rain Sunday, as the death. The full scope of the damage wasn't known — emergency crews have been unable to visit some of the hardest-hit areas.
The storm is expected to linger for days and unload more than 40 inches of rain.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood emergency for "life-threatening catastrophic flooding."
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared an unconfirmed report that a female and child may have died in a submerged vehicle.
One woman died Saturday in Harris County after driving through a flooded street and opening her car door. Earlier, another person was killed in a house fire in Aransas County.
Some homes near the William P. Hobby Airport — located just south of Houston — were flooding into the second story. Despite the ongoing rain, residents whose homes are flooded can take refuge on their roofs, Harris County Judge Ed Emmett said.
"The safest place to be is in or on your house. Do not get out in the water, that's the most dangerous place you can be," Emmett told ABC station KTRK-TV. Officials urged residents not to stay inside their attics.
Harvey made landfall late Friday as a Category 4 hurricane with 130 mph winds, but downgraded to a tropical storm by midday Saturday.
The storm — with maximum sustained winds of about 45 mph — was barely moving Sunday as it dumped torrential rain over the Houston area.
President Trump acknowledged the rescue efforts in a Sunday tweet.
"Great coordination between agencies at all levels of government," Trump wrote. "Continuing rains and flash floods are being dealt with. Thousands rescued."
Residents and media members shared images and video of the storm's impact on social media.
