#R.H.o.A: Matt Jordan Vandalizes Kenya Moore's Home (Again), Marlo Hampton Calls Kenya a 'B!TCH'?
LAWD! On the Sunday, January 15, episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the ladies were busy prepping for Phaedra Parks' charity event to benefit the children in Flint, Michigan. Meanwhile a storm was brewing between Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton (who seems to appear a few times each season). Kenya's issues with Marlo were the least of her worries, however, as her (maybe ex) boyfriend, Matt Jordan, had recently lost his temper in a very scary way again.
Sheree Whitfield was still struggling to decorate Chateau Sheree, which was pretty much a giant empty space. Though she was way over budget, she decided it would be a good idea to enlist Marlo (who isn't exactly known for her cost-cutting taste) to help her pick out wall coverings. It seemed like "wall coverings" was a fancy word for wallpaper, but that was never verified.
After looking at a few ludicrously expensive "coverings," Marlo began ragging on Kenya, calling her a "crazy," "miserable phony." It turned out Marlo was bent out of shape because Kenya hadn't invited her to her birthday party or her housewarming — and she had invited Nene Leakes. In Marlo's mind, she had been a much better friend to Kenya than Nene had, and her lack of an invite was the result of Kenya thinking Nene could help elevate her profile. (To be clear, Nene and Marlo also do not get along.)
Kenya came home from Peter Thomas' club opening (where she and Matt had exchanged words and he had punched her driver in the face) to discover that he had paid a visit to her home. In addition to breaking a bunch of windows in her garage and the windshield of her car, he had spray-painted over her security cameras to prevent himself from being filmed (because, umm, then no one would know it was him … right).
Kenya called Kandi Burruss, who asked her what her dad would say. "Get a restraining order," Kenya admitted. She then argued that she didn't think a restraining order would do anything and went to see Phaedra for advice on how to deal with Matt's temper.
"I've been in a bad relationship and so I feel it with any woman who is going through it with a spouse or a partner," Phaedra said to the camera. To Kenya, Phaedra admitted that she and ex-husband Apollo Nida had tried counseling, but it didn't work. "Once you're married to someone the bad behavior intensifies 100 percent because then they got you," Phaedra warned Kenya. Phaedra went on to say that she didn't even know who Apollo was at the end because he had changed so much from the man she'd fallen in love with.
Kenya was touched that Phaedra was being so open with her and admitted that, despite all of this, she still wanted to be with Matt — or at least the version of Matt who didn't vandalize her property every other day. (Good luck with that.) "At the end of the day, you've got to be sure of your safety," Phaedra said.
WOW!
#EMPIRE: Lee Daniels Confirms There Will Be an 'Empire' Spinoff
It's unclear if it would be a back-door episode or if the project would be for this pilot season.
If Lee Daniels has his way, there will be two versions of Empire on television.
The co-creator of the Fox hip-hop said while touting freshman series Star, that there would be a second show stemming from the ratings hit.
"We're in talks," Daniels told media outlets. "We're finally figuring it out. It takes a minute, you know? We just really had to build the foundation of Empire, so we then try to figure out what that B-chorus is. It looks like it's going to happen."
Pressed for details, Daniels remained mum on whether the spinoff could be for this current pilot season or if it would be a planted episode that serves as a back-door pilot. Also unclear is the firm premise, though there had been talk in August 2015 that a spinoff could serve as a prequel revolving around Taraji P. Henson's character Cookie.
"It could be," Daniels talked about a prequel series. "We really are in deep talks about it, and we're having all these ideas thrown around to figure it out. But I can officially say that we will be having a spinoff."
Empire, which scored an early fourth-season renewal on Wednesday morning, continues to rank as broadcast's top-rated drama. In its third season, the series — co-created by Danny Strong and produced by 20th Century Fox Television, where both Daniels and Strong are under rich overall deals — has faced new competition for the crown from NBC phenomenon This Is Us. Empire recently notched a series-low 2.5 in the all-important adults 18-49 demographic, but has served as an effective launch pad for Daniels-created music drama Star.
New Music: August Alsina – Wait
One week after releasing his comeback song “Drugs,” and announcing his third album of the same name, August Alsina has returned with the song “Wait,” his second new track of 2017.
The New Orleans R&B star cools things down over the mellow instrumental, as he sings some honest feelings to his lady about balancing his career and their relationship.
“If you gotta leave / Girl, I won’t stop ya, so do what you gotta do / I don’t want ya to go / But I got a few things in life that I gotta do / I’m not telling you to wait, I’m not telling you to wait on me … But I’m hopin’ that you wait,” he sings.
The concept seems to fall in line with the inspiration behind his recently-announced album.
“I realized how addicted to certain ways of living life I was, addicted to chaos, drama, confusion,” he said of the title. “Lately, for me, it’s been about breaking the cycle and creating a new normal. That new normal is love. I have a newfound addiction. Through love and beautiful women, I’ve been able to find myself, reach higher places within myself.”
Earlier this week, Alsina dropped the music video for “Drugs,” in which he enjoys some fantasy love. Both tracks are expected to land on his third album Drugs, the follow-up to 2015’s This Thing Called Life.

Hip Hop News: Drake Postpones ‘Boy Meets World Tour’
Drake fans got some good news and some bad news this weekend. The good news is that they can expect some “incredible new features” on his upcoming “Boy Meets World” European tour. The bad news? The tour has been postponed.
Drizzy’s management addressed these changes in a statement to fans.
“We would like to inform you that shows on the ‘Boy Meets World Tour’ in Amsterdam, London, Glasgow are being moved to new dates,” reads the statement (via Mirror). “Drake wanted to create a special experience for fans in Europe and the UK so he has added some incredible new features to an already specular production.”
However, those “incredible new features” came at a price. “Unfortunately due to unforeseen production setbacks it will need a little more time to be ready,” the statement continued. “Drake can’t wait to see all his fans so he can deliver an amazing and memorable experience.”
Originally, the tour was slated to begin with back-to-back dates in Amsterdam on Jan. 21-22. From there, he had one show (Jan. 26) in Glasgow before hitting London for six dates (Jan. 28-Feb. 5). The trek is now expected to start in March. Young Thug was previously announced as a supporting act.
In the meantime, Drake is staying busy. Fresh off his Wizkid collaboration “Hush Up the Silence,” he hit the studio with 2 Chainz to record for the Atlanta rapper’s next project, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. The 6 God has also hinted at an upcoming track with Mike WiLL Made-It.
Additionally, Drake’s Views follow-up More Life is expected to arrive early this year.

Paula Patton Accuses Robin Thicke Of Child Abuse!
Paula Patton has accused Robin Thicke of abusing their 6-year-old son, Julian Fuego. Thicke has been accused of spanking and punching his six-year-old son in new legal documents filed in his bitter custody battle with ex-wife Paula Patton.
The documents claim that Thicke and Patton's son, Julian, told teachers at school that his father spanked him many times and even 'punched' him. Julian's school reportedly provided the information to the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services on January 3.
Paula is not allowing Robin to have visitation with their son, claiming in the legal documents that she told him, "Julian is scared of you."
The 41-year-old actress filed an emergency order asking the court to only allow Thicke to see their son while supervised. Robin currently sees his son overnight every Thursday, Friday and Saturday as part of a joint custody agreement. A judge denied Patton's request to change the custody agreement on Thursday.
The "Blurred Lines" singer clapped back at Patton's allegations, claiming he hardly ever even spanked their son.
Robin stated, "On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law - open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage. I have never exceeded age-appropriate discipline, and thus never been an issue, nor has it been raised by Paula previously."
Thicke is claiming that the drama is being caused by Patton not being invited to attend his father Alan Thicke's funeral. The "Family Ties" star died at age 69 of a heart attack.
Robin explained, "Paula did not have a positive relationship with my father and often made negative comments to me about my father. As such, she was not welcome at his funeral."
Wow! This is getting messy!
Aaron Rodgers' Family Talks Estrangement: 'Fame Can Change Things'
Aaron Rodgers is the star quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, and now his father Ed is speaking in a new interview about his son’s estrangement from the family, including brother Jordan and mom Darla.
News that the family was not on good terms was revealed when Aaron‘s younger brother Jordan appeared on The Bachelorette last season. More details were later revealed in another news report.
“Fame can change things,” Ed told the New York Times. He added it was “weird” to have the family’s private business revealed. “Airing public laundry is not what I would have chosen,” he continued. “It’s good to have it all come out.”
Giving an update on the current state of their relationship, Ed said, “It’s complicated…We’re all hoping for the best.”
Aaron was asked this week if his brother would be in attendance at his playoff game in Dallas, Texas later today.
“I just don’t think it’s appropriate talking about family stuff publicly,” Aaron said. “I don’t know. I really don’t.”
Aaron is currently dating actress Olivia Munn.
