Tika Sumpter is BEAUTIFUL for 'fit PREGNANCY' Magazine!
Tika Sumpter is showing off that baby bump in every fab way. She is sexy AF in her new role as mom-to-be.
After we gave her a round of applause for this beautiful new photo spread, we caught up on how she's pulling off her pregnancy perfection effortlessly. From endless movie promo days to keeping private what she wants to keep private, Tika of all people should know how to make your pregnancy your own.
On how she learned she and her boyfriend were pregnant:
“My pregnancy wasn’t planned. I found out around Valentine’s Day, when my boyfriend took me on a surprise trip to San Diego. I never want McDonald’s, but I was like, ‘I need a Big Mac, fries, and a Coke now.’ They were still only serving breakfast, so I insisted we wait there until they started serving lunch. Afterward, I immediately fell asleep. When I woke up, my boyfriend was like, ‘Ha-ha! Are you pregnant?’ I said, ‘Maybe. Go get a test!’ He brought back a generic-brand test, and right away it said positive. I could not comprehend it. So I said, ‘Go get a name-brand test!’ He did, and that one said yes too. I still have the stick. I had to show it to my mom, because she didn’t even believe me when I told her.”
On finally getting over all-day sickness and gorging on all her fave candy and food:
“During my first trimester, I was nauseated all day. I couldn’t brush my teeth without gagging. I couldn’t eat meat other than burgers. The toilet bowl was my friend. Now, I just eat whatever I want. My body knows what it needs. Sometimes that’s a salad; sometimes it’s a milkshake, Frosted Flakes, or Kit Kats. I haven’t been working out either. After I walk my dog around the block, I’m so exhausted that I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m going to lie down.’ But I don’t care. There is nothing I feel guilty about.”
On whether marriage is a priority now that she's pregnant:
“One of the first questions my mother asked when she found out I was pregnant was ‘Are you going to get married?’ I’d love to, but maybe in a year or so. I’ve been with my boyfriend for more than a year and a half. Our relationship is not dependent on a ring. I love him to death, and he loves me to death, and that’s all that matters to me.”
On not revealing the father of her child, not even to friends at first:
“I didn’t want to hear, ‘Who’s the dad? Are you with the dad?’ Social media can be harsh, and I’m a mama bear, protective of my family. So that’s why I waited to tell people, including some friends. My friends weren’t mad at me. They said, ‘You did it the way you wanted to do it. You’re an inspiration.’”
On embracing her new curves:
“My belly feels heavy. My back and thighs ache. I’ve gained 15 pounds so far, and what’s weird is, I feel sexier than ever. There’s power in carrying a human life.”

‘Empire’ Season 3 Spoilers: Anika Or Rhonda Dead? New Details On Their Rooftop Brawl
Empire fans have been searching for clues as to whether Anika (Grace Byers) or Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) fell to their death from the New York rooftop in the drama’s Season 2 finale, and now new clues are giving fans a better look at who could have lost their life.
As Empire fans saw in the May finale “Past Is Prologue” earlier this year, Anika and Rhonda got into a rooftop brawl after Rhonda discovered that her former friend pushed her down the stairs, killing her unborn child, and as co-executive producer Ilene Chaiken confirmed to TV Line, whoever fell is “in for it” and will not be returning for Season 3.
“We love both of these characters and both of these actresses — and it’s hard to think about losing either one of them,” the Empire executive producer said when asked if Rhonda or Anika had died.
“In this instance, there’s no character motivation to consider: One of them is simply going to win the fight, and the other is likely to be gone,” she continued of Anika and Rhonda’s heart-stopping moment on the rooftop. “It’s in the hands of the gods, and whoever survives is going to have quite a story.”
Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon, recently confirmed that either Anika or Rhonda is most definitely dead in an interview with Extra, where she admitted that whoever lost their life caused quite a shock for the rest of the cast.
“They send us the script and then everybody’s calling each other like, ‘What? What? What?'” Henson said of the shocking death but wouldn’t confirm if it’s Rhonda or Anika who will not be appearing in the upcoming third season.
“You have to wait until September 21,” Henson teased when asked who’s dead.
But while the Empire cast continue to play coy about the big character death, there have been a few hints dropped in recent months as to whether Rhonda or Anika, the latter of whom is pregnant with Hakeem’s (Bryshere Y. Gray) baby, is out of the Empire fold.
Speaking to Variety earlier this year, Empire co-executive producer Sanaa Hamri appeared to hint that it could potentially be Rhonda who fell at the hands of Anika, leaving her husband, Andre (Trai Byers), heartbroken.
Hamri told the site following the Season 2 cliffhanger that Andre witnessed a death that will “deeply affect him” in the coming episodes, which appears to suggest that the eldest Lyon brother could potentially have witnessed his wife suffer the 30-story fall to her death.
But while the rumors swirl that Rhonda is dead, there have also been a number of hints suggesting that Anika’s actually the one who died in the season finale.
According to EmpireBooBooKitty.com, Kaitlyn Doubleday was spotted filming with the Empire cast back in July, suggesting that she’s alive and well following the rooftop brawl, though it’s also possible that the scene was an infamous Empire flashback.
Kaitlin also added more fuel to the fire that she’s still part of the Empire cast back in August after taking to Instagram to post a promotional shot of herself in character prior to the Season 3 premiere later this month.
“Sometimes you just gotta give some extra side eye in a Saran Wrap looking mini dress,” the actress joked in the caption, alongside the hashtag #Empire.
But as fans continue to speculate about who died in Season 2 of Empire, Hamri revealed that the big death question will be answered “in five seconds” when Season 3 premieres on September 21.
“I will say that the question that was posed gets answered in a fabulous and heartstopping way,” Hamri said of how Empire will reveal exactly who’s dead following the Season 2 finale.
Empire Season 3 is set to premiere on September 21 on Fox.
Do you think Anika or Rhonda fell to their death in the Season 2 finale of Empire?

New Hip Hop: Lil Wayne Feat. Gudda Gudda – ‘Grateful’
Fans worried about Lil Wayne’s so-called retirement can be “Grateful” for new music.
Just a week after hinting at hanging up the mic for good, Weezy unleashes “Grateful,” a TIDAL exclusive that features Gudda Gudda and production by StreetRunner and Rugah Rah.
“Grateful” allows Tunechi to open up about his ongoing Cash Money feud.
“I been working hard for no prize,” he raps. “I’m still grateful though I show pride / And you don’t see Stunna right next to me / And I won’t see Stunna write checks to me / They can’t put no more Weezy Baby out / That’s that Cash Money vasectomy / I still got love for my enemy / ‘Cause I know it’s tough to be interesting / I know it’s tough to be anything / But be grateful.”
The song also lets him explain his current mind state. “Tell the press I’m not depressed,” he raps. “I just had to press reset.”
Wayne was singing a different tune last week, when he claimed to be “dun” with the music industry. Many supporters, including Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug, have celebrated Weezy’s career following his retirement talks
‘Sully’ Soars To $35.5M For Biggest Post-Labor Day Weekend, ‘Bough’ Breaks With $15M
Sully will land smoothly for Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks with an estimated weekend haul of $35.5M. And in doing so, the Warner/Village Roadshow Bros.’ film posts the highest September opening for the studio as well as the biggest post-Labor Day haul for the industry. It also logged the highest opener for a drama in September. The story about the pilot hero Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger who eased a water landing on the Hudson River when plane’s engines were disabled after running into a flock of geese was the first film ever to be shot 100% with Imax cameras and the film paid off giving the premium-platform company its highest September opening for a wide release.
Sully captured $4M on 375 domestic Imax screens, besting The Equalizer‘s previous record of $3.1M and its former 2D record for the company as well. Expect long legs as this film played equally well with both genders and especially with its mainly adult audience. With an A CinemaScore, a 3.6 multiple is the average.
“We are so proud of Sully. Clint Eastwood made a sensational movie, and Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart gave amazing performances. The stars aligned and it over-performed,” said Jeff Goldstein, exec VP domestic theatrical distribution. Asked about how Sully may fare in its second weekend when a number of new films push into it, he said: “We’re not the least bit concerned. Dramas like this hold strongly and have big multiples. So I think this next weekend, we’ll do fine.”
Warner Bros. launched a stellar marketing campaign on the film, giving it early exposure with spots during the Olympics and, of course, the strong critical kudos from Telluride had the picture generating strong word of mouth leading into its opening weekend. Despite Eastwood and Hanks being pretty much anti-social media, the duo traveled in traditional promotional tours and it hit a strong note on social media when one of the Q&A’s was broadcast live on Facebook.
The studio also released Sully in 39 countries this weekend and on roughly 3,900 screens, the film took in $9.5M and enjoyed the biggest opening of any Eastwood film in Russia. That puts Sully‘s global bow at $45M so far with Japan on the horizon to open later this month.
Newcomer When the Bough Breaks will end the weekend with an estimated $14.8M to $15M and a B CinemaScore. Its best comp, also a Sony film — The Perfect Guy — was released in the same date last year and opened to $25.9M and an A- CinemaScore. The thriller that stars Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall was a low-risk movie for Sony, made for about $10M (not including P&A) and skews more female than Perfect Guy.
The Carson Wentz debut is a winner for The Philadelphia Eagles!
(philly.com) If the Eagles are right about Carson Wentz, then their 29-10 season-opening win Sunday over the Cleveland Browns will be long remembered as the start of a promising era of football in Philadelphia.
Wentz did his part in the debut, appearing ready for the big stage the Eagles gave him earlier than expected. The rookie quarterback finished 22 for 37 for 278 yards and two touchdowns, with both scores coming on dazzling passes that showed why the Eagles drafted Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick and were willing to trade Sam Bradford one week before the season.
It was also a successful debut for coach Doug Pederson, who was unafraid to showcase Wentz with his play-calling and also benefited from a stifling defense.
Jordan Matthews led receivers with seven catches for 114 yards and one touchdown, and six players caught passes. Ryan Mathews rushed 22 times for 77 yards and a score. Defensive linemen Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, and Connor Barwin recorded sacks.
The first drive put the crowd in a frenzy and the Eagles could only hope it was a preview of what’s to come in the next decade with Wentz. The rookie completed 3 of 4 passes, including a 19-yard touchdown to Jordan Matthews that Wentz perfectly placed in a corner of the end zone for Matthews to catch in stride.
The nine-play, 75-yard drive was also a boon for Pederson, whose play calling was on display in the scripted series.
Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz’s unit stymied Cleveland throughout the first quarter, forcing three-and-outs on the Browns’ first three drives. The Eagles could have built their lead in the quarter if Caleb Sturgis didn’t miss a 46-yard field goal, but he rebounded by connecting on two second-quarter attempts. The Eagles would have preferred if he didn’t have to kick either one, because both were red zone visits that didn’t result in touchdowns.
The field goals allowed the Browns to stay in the game during the first half. The Browns scored after converted quarterback Terrelle Pryor made a highlight-reel-worthy 44-yard catch over Nolan Carroll to get into Eagles territory, and a third-down pass interference extended the Browns drive to set up a 2-yard touchdown run.
The next Browns drive was halted when they neared the red zone after Jordan Hicks deflected Robert Griffin III’s pass and Rodney McLeod dived for the interception. The Eagles took a 13-7 lead into halftime.
The Browns kicked a field goal on the opening drive of the second half, but the game started to unravel for them when they took possession at their own 15-yard line and center Cameron Erving sent a snap over Griffin’s head and into the back of the end zone for a safety and a 15-10 Eagles lead.
The Eagles took advantage of the possession after the safety by driving nine plays for 73 yards and a touchdown. Pederson successfully gambled when he kept the offense on the field for a fourth-and-4 from the Browns’ 40-yard line. On the next play, Wentz connected with Nelson Agholor on a 35-yard touchdown down the right sideline. Similar to the touchdown pass to Matthews, it was the type of “wow” play that Pederson said Wentz has demonstrated since arriving in Philadelphia – a perfect throw in the right spot for the second-year receiver who beat two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden.
Ryan Mathews rushed for a 1-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter to seal the result.
That’s when fans headed for the exit – happy about their quarterback and their team, and with one extra day to celebrate the win before the Eagles’ Week 2 game against the Chicago Bears next Monday.
Beyonce's Dancer Gets Engaged on Stage During 'Single Ladies' Performance in St. Louis
He put a ring on it! Beyoncé's longtime dance captain Ashley Everett got engaged to her boyfriend, John Silver, at the singer's concert in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, September 10.
After Queen Bey, 35, delivered a surprise performance of her hit "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" — which she hasn't performed on her Formation World Tour since opening night in April — she handed her microphone over to Silver, who is also one of her backup dancers.
Clad in a black and white suit, Silver walked over to Everett, 27, and held her hand before addressing the crowd (watch the video below). "She's my queen, so I feel like it's only right to come out here in my hometown and show you guys the epitome of a young woman that knows how to deal with all the nonsense and the B.S. of a St. Louis n---a."
While getting down on bended knee and presenting his girlfriend with an engagement ring, Silver continued, "Ashley Everett, will you marry me?"
Beyoncé then walked over to congratulate the newly engaged couple when she realized they were still hugging and kissing. Giggling, she hilariously backed away and let the pair have their moment in the spotlight.
"Congratulations! Now let's see you do the choreography after that," the "Hold Up" singer quipped while giving Everett a hug.
Beyoncé's hugely successful Formation World Tour will come to an end at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Friday, October 7.

NYFW: Christian Siriano's Size-Inclusive Show Is Exactly What The Industry Needs
At the Christian Siriano spring/summer 2017 runway show we were witnessing a New York Fashion Week milestone: Plus-size models walked among their more expected catwalk contemporaries. The celeb-studded front row let out a roar of approval when the first curvy model took the runway in a flirty cutout frock.
Siriano has made headlines recently for his inclusivity; his collaboration with plus-size brand Lane Bryant is about to see its second season and his stylish rescue of Leslie Jones cemented him as our favorite fashionable white knight. But until now, his runways have been as uniform as the next designer, a stark contrast to his design ethos. Siriano truly believes in dressing women of all shapes and sizes and he used this runway show to send a message to the rest of the industry.
“I am just trying to show you that you can do it, you can celebrate everyone,” Siriano said. “The clothes looked just as amazing on [the plus models] as everyone else. It is so great to see, they rocked it.” Standout favorites included Marquita Pring, Precious Lee, and Georgia Pratt.
As groundbreaking and important as Siriano’s casting choices were, we’d be remiss not to mention how good the clothing was, too. The designer stuck with a mostly black-and-white color palette (with pops of orange and turquoise sprinkled throughout). Bold stripes, prints, and a polished touch dominated the pieces and a smattering of lacy embellishment and dramatic details rounded out the collection.
“The idea was that I wanted to take my customer on a perfect holiday in Capri,” Siriano adds. “I wanted to pack her suitcase for all elements of life, whatever she was doing on holiday. I still wanted it to be modern, though. We looked at a lot of vintage photographs from the '60s and '70s with Jackie Onassis, because she went there every summer, so the ladylike feel was there but in a more playful way.”
But beautiful designs can only take you so far. Frankly, we’re bored with the same old formula so many designers seem to adhere to. Plus, so much has changed since Karl Lagerfeld once claimed, “No one wants to see curvy women on the runway.” By showing his designs on a variety of sizes, shapes, and skin colors, Siriano has proved that it is perfectly possible to consider style and representation. The bar has been raised; now it's time for a runway revolution.
Beautiful!
Drake Brings Rihanna On Stage & Hints He’s Ready To Settle Down — Watch
Drake sure loves letting the world know his feelings for Rihanna! When the rapper brought RiRi out on stage at his LA concert on Sept. 10, he totally hinted that he wants to be with her forever. Watch him declare his love on video right here!
This Drake and Rihanna love>>ðŸ˜❤️ pic.twitter.com/2WevPJkgt6— aileen (@aileennnn18) September 11, 2016
After Rihanna and Drake finished performing together, he couldn’t stop saying how “lovely” she is while they flaunted some cute PDA. Then to make the moment even sweeter, Drake told the crowd, “I pray that you find somebody that holds you down like this woman right here.” Aww! See it happen below:
Ever since Drake gushed over Rihanna, 28, while presenting her the Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs on Aug. 28 (and they became an official couple just days later), the 29-year-old rapper has had no problem expressing how much he adores RiRi. This wasn’t the first time Drake brought Rihanna on stage with him since announcing their relationship, either — she also made an appearance at his show in Miami, even giving each other a big kiss right in front of everyone! But this time around, Drake’s “hold you down” comment made it sound like he’s already ready to take things to the next level with her!
Alexis Arquette, Transgender Actress, Dead at 47!
Sister of Patricia, Roseanna and David appeared in films like 'The Wedding Singer,' 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Threesome'

"He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones. We were playing music for him and he passed during David Bowie's Starman. As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension."
Patricia Arquette tweeted YouTube clips of T. Rex's "Cosmic Dancer" and Bowie's "Starman" in memory of her "first best friend."
The sister of actors Rosanna, Patricia and, two years later, David Arquette, Arquette's first role came as a 12-year-old in the Tubes' "She's a Beauty" video. Arquette's film career included small roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Pulp Fiction (as the gunman who miraculously failed to shoot Vincent Vega and Jules at close range) and Threesome.
Arquette was also known for playing George, a Boy George wannabe, in the 1998 Adam Sandler film The Wedding Singer. The Culture Club singer tweeted Sunday, "R.I.P my sister Alexis Arquette. Another bright light gone out far too soon. Love to the family and all that loved Alexis."
Arquette also appeared in bit roles in Friends, Lords of Dogtown, Bride of Chucky and Californication. Arquette's transition from male to female was documented in the 2007 film Alexis Arquette: She's My Brother, and appeared as herself on The Surreal Life.
"I am feeling immense gratitude to have been afforded the luxury of sharing life with him/her, for learning from Alexis, for being given the gift of being able to love her/him and to be loved by him/her," Richmond Arquette continued. "He was a force. He died as he lived, on his own terms. I am immensely grateful that it was fast and painless. It was an incredible moving experience and I am humbled and grateful to have been able to have been with him as he began his journey onward. Thank you, Alexis, I love you and will always love you."
