Congratulations Rihanna! The pop princess landed the cover of VOGUE's coveted 2015 Met Gala issue, documenting this year's theme China: Through The Look Glass. She tweeted out the photo via Instagram with the caption,
“WOW!!! I am very honored to have this image selected for the new cover of @voguemagazine !! #metgala2015 #art #fashion #Vogue”
It was a no-brainer that Rihanna would land the cover since her Guo Pei-designed ensemble was the most talked about garment of the evening and made headlines around the world. It also sparked countless social media memes.
VOGUE Editor in Chief Anna Wintour sealed her approval, telling the talk show host Seth Meyers,
'I really want to tell you about this dress. Because Rihanna is such a star. She surfed the internet looking for this, and this was designed by a famous, famous Chinese designer Guo Pei. It apparently took one Chinese person two years to make this dress.'
In fact, Guo Pei revealed to The Cut that it took 50,000 hours to create Rihanna's “Magnificent Gold” dress.
“The focus and the attention paid to this dress will make it remembered by the world—[what] I want is to make them remember…. It is my responsibility to let the world know China’s tradition and past, and to give the splendor of China a new expression. I hope that people do know China in this way.”

Despite Fall-Out, Cynthia Bailey Never Wants to See NeNe Leakes Hurt
The season of Real Housewives of Atlanta has finally come to dramatic close. And Cynthia Bailey is opening up about how she felt watching her former friend NeNe Leakes have a emotional moment and walk off.
In her BRAVO blog post, she reveals:
"My natural reaction when NeNe broke down and walked off was to go to her and hug her. I had no idea how I would be received or what I would say to her, but my heart said go after her, and I did. NeNe and I were friends. Real friends that spent real time together outside of the show. Regardless of what the status of that friendship was during the reunion, I never want to see her hurt."
She does share that she feels like everyone ended the reunion in a better place:
"I have always looked at the reunion as an opportunity for the ladies to address their issues face to face and try to move forward. When people want to make amends and move on, it usually works out. Unless they want the drama to continue. None of us is perfect. We all have said things about one another over the years, made fun of each other, and have crossed the line in one way or the other. People forgive whom they want to forgive, and hold grudges with whom they want to hold grudges. I can’t speak for the other ladies, but I felt like I was in a better place when the reunion ended. I was open to resolution, and that is what matters to me. How someone responds to it is their choice."
I’ll guess we’ll have to tune in next season to see if Cynthia and NeNe will be able to repair their friendship.

Well, someone in Pecham, London does and DID.
The Beyoncé Hair and Beauty Salon is a real business, and has absolutely no ties to Bey whatsoever — outside of the name.
According to Complex, the Yelp page for the business has 17 photos of hairstyles and only one review from 2010. Beyoncé has multiple patents to keep companies from using her name in various commercial categories — but somehow this slipped through the cracks.

There’s a Family Feud Over Nate Dogg's Estate
According to reports, Nate Dogg's son doesn't see it for his widow and he is not bout to let her cash in on his estate.
Naijiel Hale, the son of the late Nate Dogg, blames his widow Latoya Calvin for his father's death and claims their marriage was a sham. Naijiel says Latoya caused the car accident that led to Nate Dogg having multiple strokes, eventually causing his death in 2011. He also believes Latoya married his dad when he was mentally incapacitated. Naijiel's mom sides with him, pointing out that Latoya did not even attend Nate's funeral.
There may be some truth to Naijiel's claims because according to Nate Dogg's estate, Nate separated and filed for divorce 19 days after he and Latoya wed. The only problem is that the divorce was not finalized before he died.
Nate Dogg also left his house to his 6 children. Unfortunately, two days after his death the bank moved to foreclosure, due to him being behind on his mortgage. Court docs show that in March the estate administrator agreed to sell the house for $340K to pay off Nate's debts but Nate's children have been trying to stop the sale.
YESSSSSS! "EMPIRE" EXPANDS To 18 Episodes
Attention #CookieMonsters....Taraji and Terrence's hit series EMPIRE has been supersized! Thanks to a record-breaking first season (check the receipts here) FOX has upped the show's initial Season 2 order of 12 episodes to a monster sized 18. The network plans to split its 18-episode second season into two different halves with Part 1 in the fall, ending with a cliffhanger, and Part 2 in the spring.
But wait....there's more! Grammy-winner crooner/producer/singer Ne-Yo has been booked to write music for Season 2, joining the series’ music producer Timbaland.
Fox chairman and CEO Gary Newman, who spoke at the network's Upfront presentation on Monday morning, told the audience, "The stories we’ve heard already for season 2 will blow away the audience.” Gary added that FOX has no plans to change Empire's timeslot....which is bad news for ABC's "Black-ish," which saw a ratings decline during the week's it competed against "Empire."
"Empire" will return Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET this fall.
Son of Georgia educator behind racist rant asks those offended to ‘come see me face to face’
The son of a Lilburn, Ga. educator, whose racist rant at a graduation ceremony went viral over the weekend, came to her defense — in her own fashion.
“If anyone has something to say about my mom and how she ran her graduation — come say it to my face,” Travis Gordeuk took to Facebook Saturday.
His language mirrored the racial vilification spouted by his mother, Nancy Gordeuk, on Friday, whose words inspired a massive walk-out caught on camera.
The ceremony featured 48 students graduating from her private TNT Academy located northeast of Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Her son, Travis Gordeuk, came to the rescue on Saturday afternoon and offered to address grievances against his mother "face to face."
Travis Gordeuk turned to Facebook to defend his mother and comments at a TNT Academy graduation ceremony that went viral.
“Yall n----s aren’t talkin about s--t so if u got somthing (sic) to say come see me face to face,” Gordeuk added.
The feisty son even invited those offended to stop by his Carterville address — sharing his location publically on the social media post.
The independent school’s founder lost her cool when she flubbed the ceremony’s program and forgot to introduce the valedictorian. Friends and relatives of graduates began to leave the church thinking the show was over.
"It was my fault that we missed it in the program,” Gordeuk pleaded with the crowd before becoming flippant. “Look who's leaving — all the black people.”
The crowd gasped at the comment.
She then turned her attention to one man who recorded the whole thing and called him a “goober” and a “coward."
The worst of Friday’s affair targeted black members of the audience.
In a later post, her son, Travis, said she was reacting to “someone standing up during the ceremony and walking around with a tablet.”
“My moma not racist one bit she’s done nothing but help kids so yall need to get stories straight,” he added.
“The devil was in the house and came out from my mouth. I deeply apologize for my racist comment and hope that forgiveness is in your hearts,” Gordeuk wrote.
Her school for middle and high school students was the subject of critical reports in 2013 for being too easy compared to what kids face in Gwinnett Public Schools.
“It was pretty obvious that the rigor was not the same as what we require,” Georgia Department of Education officials told WSB-TV.
Though TNT Academy is accredited through the Georgia Accrediting Commission, its license as a nontraditional education center is up for review in 2016. It offers makeup credit for students failing courses at public schools.

So thinking back, it was just like, you can think you on top of the world and you have everything going for you but there’s certain things that no matter how hard you work it just seems like they won’t go away…and it was just like it had a lot to do with my personal life. It’s just like — you getting this money, you getting these shows, but it was like that doesn’t make you happy, so what will actually make you happy… you have to understand that many are called and few are chosen, to whom much is given, much is required."
On the biggest misconception about who she is:
"People think I’m mean but I’m probably one of the realest. I just don’t play…"
Lesson in life that took her the longest to learn:
"Mo’ you gone be alright…my biggest lesson in life was to stop worrying."

DJ Khaled Is No Longer With Cash Money
DJ Khaled is preparing his new album for release through Sony.
While DJ Khaled has been repping as hard as humanly possible for We The Best over the last few years, the imprint has thus far been living underneath Cash Money as an imprint. However, the always-entertaining DJ revealed in an interview with the Breakfast Club that his official ties to the label are no more.
"I'm not signed to Cash Money at all," he said. "It's not like I'm here to promote that I've been off. No, I'm not that type of person.
Of course, he maintained that he was still on good terms with the whole team, and that his departure was simply a business decision. "Lil Wayne and Birdman, that's family," he affirmed. "It's still 'We the Best.' Nothing negative, everything is beautiful."
As far as the tension between Wayne and Birdman, The DJ is not taking sides. "Lil Wayne, that's my brother, Birdman, that's family. And at the end of the day, it's not my business, and I do pray for greatness and everything works out," he shared. "It's not my business and at the end of the day, those two people know who I am, and I don't get involved."
Releasing his new single today, Khaled shared a statement announcing his new partnership with Sony. "It's a new chapter of more success," read the press release. "WTB prides itself on quality and longevity and alongside Sony, WE THE BEST is poised to build a legacy of putting out number ones and breaking more superstar artists."
Is American Idol being canceled because of The Nicki Minaj/ Mariah Carey FEUD?
American Idol exec Nigel Lythgoe may have hired Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj to serve as judges on the hit show back in 2012 but now it seems he wishes he didn’t.
Why he feels the ladies are partially to blame for the show’s demise?
He told Billboard:
“Mariah and Nicki was just crazy, and then it really started becoming about the judges and took away from the contestants altogether. I think that was a major failing on the part of casting to have those two together. On their own, either one may have been successful.
”Lythgoe was referring to the pair’s on-camera feud which rocked the show when footage of Minaj berating Carey hit the net.
