#MAGFAB: Penelope Cruz Covers Vogue Hong Kong November 2024

The divine Penélope Cruz covers the November 2024 issue of Vogue Hong Kong, posing in key pieces from the Chanel Cruise 2025 collection.
A Chanel ambassador since 2018, Cruz is styled by Michael Philouze in images by friends and star photographers Luigi Murenuu & Iango Henzi [IG] for ‘Penelope Cruz on Embracing Each Role and True Success’.
Writers Kaitlyn Lai and Kiki Fung do a very meaty overview of Penelope Cruz’s career before turning to the interview and her current projects.
Referring to Cruz playing most-recently Laura Ferrari in ‘Ferrari’ and Donatella Versace in ‘American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace’, Vogue HK asks the actor who would play her in a biopic.  Her instantaneous reply was:

“It would be weird for me to think about that. Maybe when I’m 80 or 90, I could think about it. It is true that many things have happened to me, many other things that only my family or close friends know. Actually, this is the first time someone has asked me that, and I think it is a question I cannot answer until I am much much older.”
Last week’s Penelope Cruz news is her teaming up with Johnny Depp for ‘Day Drinker’, a Lionsgate thriller with Marc Webb directing. The film is Cruz’s fourth film with Depp and is described by Lionsgate as one in which  “a cruise ship bartender” and “a mysterious day drinker” . . .  “find themselves entangled in a criminal underbelly, and connected in unexpected ways.”
Cruz worked with Depp on 2001’s ‘Blow’; 2011’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’; and 2017’s ‘Murder on the Orient Express’. Penelope Cruz supported Depp in his court drama with Amber Heard, submitting affidavits saying she had never witnessed him engaged in violent behavior.
“Many years have passed and I have not only made 3 movies with him, but I also count on him as a great friend,” wrote Cruz in the court documents. “I’ve always been impressed by his kindness, his brilliant mind, his talent, and his peculiar sense of humor.”

#RHOA: NeNe Leakes' Son Reportedly Misses Two Check-ins With Probation Officer After Plea Deal
Nene Leakes' son, Bryson Bryant, is a no-show amid his ongoing probationary period as part of his plea deal!
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum's son has reportedly skipped meetings with his probation officer for two months now, and all efforts to reach him have proven abortive.
Nene Leakes' son, Bryson Bryant, was arrested last July in Georgia and struck a plea deal this May in the criminal case involving possession of a hard substance and pretense to law enforcement.

According to court documents, Bryant's probation officer indicated in the affidavit filed as part of his criminal case that he failed to report on at least two dates, including August 14 and September 30.
The officer added that the star's son also refused to pick up his phone or return his calls. Bryant's probation officer also confirmed that he is not currently incarcerated, as the local jail rosters did not have his name as an inmate.
A letter was reportedly mailed to his last known address ordering him to report for routine check-ins with his probation officer. The motion filed on October 3 still contains no updated information about Bryant's location, which means he is still at large.

After the probation officer turned in his affidavit accusing Bryant of missing reports, the judge signed off on the officer's request to "toll" Bryant's sentence. Per In Touch, this means that Bryant's probation will be paused until he checks in with his probation officer or is taken in by a police officer.

On why he now has to report to a probation officer every month, We reported that Bryant reached a plea deal with prosecutors in the case following his July 2023 arrest.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer. He got lucky when the prosecutors dismissed his Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance charge.
The court then sentenced him to a 12-month probationary period with strict rules that would land him in jail if broken and a $500 fine payment.  Bryant must complete 40 hours of community service within six months of his sentence.

The court also granted his probation officer authority to run random drug tests on Bryant as part of the terms to fulfill his sentencing. In clearer terms:
"The Defendant shall provide a release which allows the Community Supervision Office to have access to all medical, clinical, treatment, attendance or work records, and for driving and criminal history."
Except for substances that are lawfully or medically prescribed, Bryant was ordered by the court to steer clear of alcohol and alcoholic beverages.

He was also prohibited from consuming narcotics and other harmful drugs that may tamper with his sentencing terms and conditions. The order comes with rules that he must be available for routine evaluation and or treatment for drug abuse when required.
The reality star's son was taken into custody on July 3, 2023, after law officers discovered him wandering outside a residence in Lawrenceville, Georgia, around 1 a.m. The police claimed Bryant provided false information about knowing the residents of the property.
He also told the officers his name was Brentt Leakes- his half-brother and Leakes' younger son's name. Law officers reportedly uncovered his lies during questioning, where he also told the officers he had no idea the substance in his possession was Fentanyl.

His mother reacted to the news of his arrest and addressed her son's lengthy struggles with drugs and hard substances, expressing how hard it has been to get him to stay off the self-destructing habit.
She noted that her best efforts had done little to save her son from his demons and noted that he needed professional intervention. In her words:
"He needs a lot of counseling, Like many families out there, I have family members that are struggling with drugs and certain addictions. He has an addiction. He's been struggling with it for years."
She noted that Bryant has gone into rehabilitation a few times but came back out and relapsed. Leakes declared she had exhausted every strength to help Bryant overcome his drug use problem.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum was hit with a court case shortly after her son's arrest. In the August 2023 lawsuit, the company claimed that they leased a commercial property to the star to serve as the location for her Swagg Boutique in 2017.
MPG-Sugarloaf entered into a business agreement with the celebrity for her boutique's physical store and stated in their lawsuit that she failed to pay $22,000 in rent charges when she left the property.

The boutique reportedly initially stopped operating during the pandemic but reopened for a few months before finally packing up in 2022. MPG-Sugarloaf demanded in the lawsuit that she pay up the entire unpaid balance plus interest.
A Georgia judge approved the company's request in September to garnish her account to settle the debt and her absence in court seemingly shows approval to carry on with the process.

Nene Leakes' son, Bryson Bryant, risks bagging a jail term if he continues to avoid check-ins with his probation officer!

#HipHopNews: Lil Nas X Introduces Fans To “Phase One” Of His “Dreamboy” Era In New Trailer
Lil Nas X is gearing up to release new music. On Sunday (Nov. 10), the “Old Town Road” artist shared a promo clip, in which he seemingly recreates the tale of Noah’s Ark for “phase one” of his next era.
“When the world needed him most, he vanished, but now he’s back and better,” the title card reads. Fans also get to see an all-white version of his 2024 MTV Video Music Awards outfit — a leather moto suit and helmet.

The teaser arrived alongside Lil Nas X announcing that “Light Again” will hit streaming platforms on Friday (Nov. 15). “We [are] about to be eating good,” someone said in the comments section, with another Instagram user writing, “Why do I have a feeling this is really about to carry?”
The Georgia rapper hasn’t dropped an album since 2021’s MONTERO, which housed his chart-topping collaboration with Jack Harlow, “INDUSTRY BABY,” as well as “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” and “THATS WHAT I WANT.” Other contributions to the project came from the likes of Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus and Elton John.

Interestingly, Lil Nas X attempted to get two other big names on the LP: Nicki Minaj and Drake. During an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” he detailed, “Drake replied… He was still working on Certified Lover Boy and whatnot, and he was 100 percent focused on that. This was like a few weeks ago, and I understood completely.”
Since then, the hitmaker has unveiled a slew of singles. He kicked off his “Christian era” with the controversial “J CHRIST” in January, followed by “Where Do We Go Now?” later that month. The second-mentioned record served as original music for his eponymous documentary. Then, in June, listeners were graced with “HERE WE GO!” from the soundtrack for Netflix’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.

#RIP: Judith Jamison, Renowned Dancer and Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey Company, Has Died at 81

Judith Jamison, an internationally acclaimed dancer who later served as artistic director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater for two decades, has died. She was 81.
Jamison died after a brief illness on Saturday, surrounded by close friends in New York, Christopher Zunner, an Ailey spokesperson, confirmed to The Associated Press. “We remember and are grateful for her artistry, humanity and incredible light, which inspired us all,” Zunner added.

Jamison, who was originally from Philadelphia, trained in ballet at the Judimar School of Dance, starting at the age of six. She joined the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 1965, and served as one of its most prominent soloists for 15 years, before leaving to perform as a guest artist with other ballet companies and on Broadway.
Jamison later returned and served as the company’s artistic director for 21 years, in which she choreographed an array of repertory works, organized a 50-city global tour in honor of the company’s 50th anniversary, and worked tirelessly to build upon Ailey’s legacy of championing and performing the work of new choreographers. In 2004, Jamison secured the theater’s permanent home on the west side of Manhattan, and in 2011 she moved into her current role as artistic director emerita.

Earlier this year, Jamison reflected on her first impressions of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. “When I first joined Ailey in 1965, one of the questions I got asked was ‘How did you feel when you walked in the door?’ But how do any dancers feel when they go into their first thing? All of a sudden, I was working with [the modern-dance choreographer] Anna Sokolow, and somebody else was working with [the postmodern dancer and choreographer] Rudy Perez,” she told Bazaar in July.

“Everybody likes to sit on ‘This is a Black company,’ but people don’t know that Ailey was a repertory modern-dance company and that all these choreographers were invited. Our protest was exactly what we were doing onstage. Our bodies told the truth about what it is to be an artist.”

Janet Jackson Faces Backlash From Most Devoted Fans Over Comments on Kamala Harris’ Racial Identity

The heat surrounding Janet Jackson following her comments on Vice President Kamala Harris is now causing her to lose some of her most supportive fans. As noted here on The Blast, the 58-year-old "All for You" singer has been under fire for several weeks following a controversial interview with The Guardian.

During the sit-down, Jackson parroted misinformation regarding Vice President Harris’ race, claiming that she believed Harris was Indian and not of mixed race. To date, Jackson has yet to comment on the backlash.
For those uninformed, Jackson sat down with The Guardian in September to promote the latest leg of her Together Again World Tour and her five-decade-long career in entertainment. During the conversation, Guardian writer Nosheen Iqbal touched on Janet’s politically charged music and asked the singer about her feelings on Kamala Harris, who was then in the running to become the next President of the United States.

When Iqbal lauded the idea of Harris being the first Black female President, Jackson insinuated that Harris wasn’t Black at all. “Well, you know what they supposedly said,” Jackson told Iqbal. “She’s not black. That’s what I heard. That [Harris is] Indian.”
Iqbal tried to correct Jackson by informing her of Harris’ Jamaican father and her Indian mother. Still, Jackson persisted that Harris was actually white.

“Her father’s white. That’s what I was told. I mean, I haven’t watched the news in a few days. I was told that they discovered her father was white.”
Jackson’s continued silence following her comments in The Guardian interview, which was published in late September, has now led to some of her most supportive fans (often referred to as the #JanFam) turning their backs on the star. In a TikTok posted on November 8, self-professed superfan Anthony Antoine is seen going through his vast collection of Janet Jackson merchandise and tossing it aside, claiming that Janet’s refusal to speak on her comments about Harris is damning and far-reaching.

“I [initially] said when that [Guardian] interview happened, we had our answer – and Janet Jackson’s silence was that answer,” Antoine notes in the TikTok.
In the caption for the TikTok, Antoine further notes how he felt regarding the interview and Janet’s comments.
“After years of loving Janet Jackson’s music, it’s time to close a chapter,” Antoine wrote. “Hearing her comments questioning Vice President Kamala Harris’s identity - and the silence since - feels like a break in the bond that her music once built with so many of us. It’s disheartening to see a lack of response, especially now when our voices matter so much.”

“While I still respect Janet’s legacy,” Antoine continues, “I’ve outgrown any artist who can’t take a clear stand for unity, truth, and progress.”
Public support for Janet Jackson is also dwindling among her fans on Twitter. Jackson Dynasty, a popular Twitter account that celebrates the entire Jackson family, recently took their own stand against Janet by refusing to post future updates about her life and career.

“I will no longer talk about Janet on this platform,” they shared. “I respect her as an artist and I will continue to appreciate her incredible career and the important messages of Rhythm Nation but I refuse to support her work as long as she is managed by [her brother] Randy "MAGA" Jackson.”
Randy, a known supporter of President-Elect Donald Trump, as noted by The Daily Beast, has been long criticized by the #JanFam for his political stance and for what many feel is a lackluster effort to protect his sister’s legacy. Many feel that it was his influence that caused Janet to spread the misinformation about Harris’ race in the Guardian interview, though this has not been confirmed.

Coincidentally, Randy was said to be directly involved in the termination of Mo Elsmari, who issued an apology on behalf of Janet following the controversial Guardian conversation.

An Instagram Post From Randy Jackson Alludes To Janet Jackson Standing Firm On Her Kamala Harris’ Comments
Adding insult to injury, an Instagram post shared by Randy Jackson featuring one of Janet’s songs has riled up her fanbase once more. On November 6, one day after Election Day, Randy shared an image of himself on the social media app wearing a Black “Make America Great Again” hat with the caption “I voted.” Overlaying the photo was the song “Made for Now,” a single first released by Randy’s sister Janet in 2018 featuring Latin music artist Daddy Yankee.

While Janet has not commented on the post, angry fans took to Randy’s comments to attack him for using his sister’s music to promote his support of Donald Trump.

“Disgraceful! I hope Janet doesn't continue to let you influence her politics and career,” wrote one user.
“At least we now know who was giving Janet the misinformation,” another Instagram user claimed. “Bad look, my friend. Bad look.”
Making matters worse is the fact that while Janet Jackson hasn’t spoken on her contentious Guardian interview, she or whoever runs her social media pages has been actively posting in the weeks following.
While her Instagram has remained mostly dormant since September 12 – about a week before The Guardian interview first appeared online – posts from her #SundayInspiration series, which feature uplifting quotes and occasional Bible scriptures, began popping up on her Twitter and Instagram Stories on October 27, about a month after she spoke with The Guardian.

Federal judge responds to Diddy’s gag order request
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the renowned music mogul, faces significant legal challenges as a federal judge has denied his request for a gag order aimed at limiting public statements from potential witnesses and their attorneys. This ruling comes amid serious allegations against him, including charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, which could lead to a life sentence if he is convicted.

Background of the case
In September, Diddy was indicted by federal prosecutors, who allege that he orchestrated a vast criminal operation to fulfill his sexual desires. The indictment has led to a wave of civil abuse lawsuits against him, prompting his legal team to seek a gag order. They argued that “inflammatory extrajudicial statements” made by victims and their attorneys were jeopardizing his right to a fair trial.

Judge’s ruling
On Nov. 8, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled against Diddy’s request, stating that such an extreme measure would infringe upon the First Amendment rights of the alleged victims. The judge emphasized the importance of balancing Diddy’s right to a fair trial with the rights of those who claim to be his victims.

Implications of the decision
The judge’s decision highlights the complexities of the legal system when it comes to high-profile cases. While Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, argued that the public statements were damaging to his client’s character, the judge maintained that a blanket gag order would silence individuals who may not even be involved in the case.

Next steps for Diddy
In addition to the gag order denial, Diddy’s legal team has also renewed their request for his release on a $50 million bond while he awaits trial. This request has been denied multiple times since his arrest. However, Agnifilo pointed out that other defendants, such as former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries, were granted pretrial release under similar circumstances. Agnifilo argued that the conditions proposed for Diddy’s release are significantly more stringent than those for Jeffries.

Public and media reaction
The ruling has sparked discussions about the intersection of celebrity, justice and free speech. Many observers are closely watching how this case unfolds, as it raises important questions about the rights of alleged victims and the legal protections afforded to defendants. The media coverage surrounding Diddy has been intense, with various outlets reporting on the allegations and the ongoing legal proceedings.

As Diddy navigates this tumultuous legal landscape, the denial of his gag order request marks a significant moment in his case. With serious charges looming and the potential for a life sentence, the stakes are incredibly high. The legal battles ahead will not only determine Diddy’s fate but also set precedents regarding the rights of victims and defendants in high-profile cases.

Disney Star Skai Jackson Is Pregnant. Expecting First Child With Boyfriend

Skai Jackson is pregnant! The 22-year-old Disney star has confirmed she’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend, whose identity remains private.
The news of Skai’s pregnancy isn’t entirely surprising, as rumors began swirling in August when she was arrested for domestic battery at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Sources revealed that security noticed a heated argument between Skai and her boyfriend, during which she allegedly pushed him multiple times.
Despite both parties denying any physical altercation, Skai Jackson reportedly told police they were happily engaged and expecting a baby together.

However, footage reviewed by deputies reportedly suggested otherwise.
Skai was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, cited, and released within a few hours.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office ultimately declined to file charges against her, citing her lack of prior criminal history.

With that chapter behind her, Skai is now looking forward to motherhood.
She told People, “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life—embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!”
Next up for Skai Jackson is her role in the feature film The Man in the White Van, which she promoted at Comic-Con ahead of its December 13 release.

As she prepares for motherhood, she remains close to her mother, Kiya Cole, who raised her as a single parent.
Reflecting on her upbringing, Skai previously shared with People, “[My mom] always taught me to stand up for myself, stand up for what I believe in, and fight for what is right. I thank her for that because, without her, I probably wouldn’t have a lot of the confidence that I do now.”

Keke Palmer Alleges Ryan Murphy “Ripped” Into Her While Working on ‘Scream Queens,’ Called Her “Unprofessional”
Keke Palmer is looking back on a not-so-positive experience while filming Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actress discusses writing her upcoming memoir Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative, in which she shares anecdotes from her career. In the book, Palmer writes of her two seasons on the Fox series Scream Queens, alongside Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Skyler Samuels and Lea Michele.

Specifically, she recalls a time Murphy allegedly called her “unprofessional” and a former co-star made a racist remark to her.
According to the L.A. Times, Palmer describes how after reviewing her shooting schedule, she arranged to take care of another business obligation on one of her days off. However, when that day came, production informed her that she was actually needed on set after all. But after Palmer decided to keep her prior obligation, she writes that it resulted in an angry phone call with Murphy in which he “ripped” into her and accused her of being unprofessional.

“It was kind of like I was in the dean’s office,” Palmer said. “He was like, ‘I’ve never seen you behave like this. I can’t believe that you, out of all people, would do something like this.'”

Palmer apologized and things seemed to her like they were OK, but a co-star told the actress otherwise. “I said, ‘Ryan talked to me and I guess he’s cool, it’s fine,’ and she was like, ‘It’s bad,’ trying to make me scared or something, which was a little irritating,” Palmer said.

Palmer went on to say that the incident may have prevented her from being a regular collaborator of Murphy’s like Sarah Paulson and Roberts, who have starred in multiple projects for him.
“I’m still not sure Ryan cared, or got it, and that’s okay because he was just centering his business, which isn’t a problem to me,” she writes in the book. “But what I do know is even if he didn’t care, and even if I never work with him again, he knows that I, too, see myself as a business.”
While starring on the show, Palmer also writes that a white actress, whom she keeps anonymous and refers to as “Brenda,” allegedly made a racist remark to her on set. After the actress grew upset over an issue with a colleague, Palmer suggested they calm down and everyone “have fun and respect each other.”

“Keke, literally, just don’t. Who do you think you are? Martin f—— Luther King?” Palmer writes that the person said in response.
“It was such a weighted thing that she said, but I didn’t allow that weight to be projected on me, because I know who I am,” Palmer said. “I’m not no victim. That’s not my storyline, sweetie. I don’t care what her ass said. If I allow what she said to cripple me, then she would.”

A rep for Murphy has not yet responded to a request for comment.
In her memoir, which publishes Nov. 19, Palmer “talks about everything from her struggles with boundaries to unconditional love, forgiveness and worthiness.” She also “gets candid about the tools she’s developed to take the reins, harness her vulnerability and recognize ownership in the narrative of her life, which allowed her to turn personal power into major power.”

Nicole Scherzinger Apologizes And Clarifies Comment On Accused Abuser Russell Brand's Trump-Aligned Post
Nicole Scherzinger has issued an apology after her comment on Russell Brand's Instagram post celebrating Donald Trump's 2024 election victory drew widespread criticism from her fans. In her apology post, Scherzinger clarified her comment.
"The Masked Singer" judge said that her comment was not politically motivated and that she made a mistake in not realizing how it could be interpreted. "Many presumptions are being drawn, which do not reflect who I am, what I stand for, or who I voted for," she wrote.

Scherzinger has faced backlash since she wrote, "Where do I get this hat!!!" on Brand's post featuring a "Make Jesus First Again" cap. The comment, which she later deleted, was seen by many as a sign of support for Trump and Brand, who is a known supporter of the former president.

In her apology, Scherzinger stated that she was trying to encourage "people to choose love and faith" over hate. She added that she stands with marginalized communities who are concerned about the results of the election.

The controversy comes amid a high point in Scherzinger's career. She has received critical praise and an Olivier award for her performance in Broadway's "Sunset Blvd." and has generated Tony buzz.
Despite the backlash from fans, Scherzinger has received support from some who believe she is simply a Christian who misinterpreted the post.

She gave her life to Christ today, and I didn’t see him strike her with lightning 🤷🏾‍♀️
Everything I hated about her was left in that water because I know what my father in heaven can do! To God be the glory.

God Bless her, I guess!

Charlamagne tha God misgenders Caitlyn Jenner over Trump support
Radio host Charlamagne the God grilled Caitlyn Jenner on Monday, saying Jenner’s support of President-elect Donald Trump makes it acceptable to misgender the famed Olympian.
Jenner, born Bruce Jenner, announced in 2015 she had transitioned to female. She remains a strong supporter of Trump and has repeatedly targeted Democratic leaders for pushing certain transgender policies.

Misgendering, or referring to someone as a gender with which they do not identify, is considered highly offensive to members of the LGBT community. Despite this, the host referred to Jenner as a man and accused her of being hypocritical.
“Caitlyn wants to put his right foot in, take his right foot out, put his left foot in, take her left foot out,” he said. “That is not how any of this should work.”

Charlamagne the God, whose legal name is Lenard McKelvey, added Jenner will never be able to escape her past as a “rich white male” no matter how hard she tries.
“You know what, Caitlyn?” McKelvey asked. “At the end of the day you can change the top layer—what you was, who you was before you got here—and what you are is a rich white male and that’s why I keep saying ‘him’ when I shouldn’t be, but I can’t stop seeing Caitlyn as a right white male.”

“That identity, pun intended, trumps all,” he added.
Jenner reposted a clip Tuesday from McKelvey’s show via X that included a caption by Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren.
“Well isn’t that something?” Lahren asked. “If you don’t support men in women’s sports, you are transphobic BUT you can demean @Caitlyn_Jenner (a great ally of women’s sports integrity) and it’s fine because Caitlyn supports Trump?”

She also reposted another comment reading “you know what's funny: @Caitlyn_Jenner wouldn't mind being ‘misgendered’ because Caitlyn is not a virtue-signalling snowflake.”
In April, Jenner denounced President Joe Biden for proclaiming Transgender Day of Visibility on the same day as Easter Sunday, despite the day falling on March 31 since 2009.
“I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden has declared the most Holy of Holy days – a self proclaimed devout Catholic – as Transgender Day of Visibility,” she posted on X. “The only thing you should be declaring on this day is ‘HE is Risen’.”

Airlines Cancel Flights to Haiti After Gunfire Hits Spirit Airplane Over Port-au-Prince
Two jets from US-based airlines were struck by bullets on Monday while flying over Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince as Haitian authorities suspended all flights in and out of the capital amid escalating gang violence.
A Spirit Airlines plane was hit by gunfire while attempting to land in Port-au-Prince, resulting in what the airline described as “minor injuries” to one crew member.

Spirit said Monday that its Flight 951 from Fort Lauderdale in Florida to Port-au-Prince was diverted and landed in Santiago in the Dominican Republic, where “an inspection revealed evidence of damage to the aircraft consistent with gunfire.” The aircraft has been taken out of service, and Spirit services to Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien have been suspended, the airline said.

Later Monday, the Haitian civil aviation authority shared a warning to flight personnel, saying “air traffic operations are temporarily suspended” at the airport. The notice, known as a notice to airmen (NOTAM), went into effect at 2:00 p.m. local time Monday and is expected to end next Monday, November 18.

In response to the Spirit incident, US-based carriers JetBlue and American Airlines temporarily canceled flights to and from Haiti.
In a later statement, JetBlue extended its flight suspension through December 2, saying damage from a bullet had been identified in one of its planes returning from Haiti.
JetBlue Flight 935 landed at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport without any issues originally reported, but a post-flight inspection later identified that the aircraft’s exterior had been struck by a bullet, the airline said.

“We are actively investigating this incident in collaboration with relevant authorities,” JetBlue said, citing “the going civil unrest” for its decision to suspend flights.
The incidents came the same day Haiti’s transitional council swore in a new prime minister, businessman Alix Didier Fils-Aime, who pledged to restore democracy and security in the country.

Haiti has been ridden with widespread gang activity and political chaos for nearly a year, with international actors also impacted by direct violence in recent weeks. Last month, a United Nations helicopter was also hit by bullets while flying over Port-au-Prince. In a separate incident in October, gangs targeted US Embassy vehicles with gunfire, later prompting the evacuation of 20 embassy staffers.

In late February and early March, coordinated gang attacks forced the closure of both the airport and main seaport in the Haitian capital, choking off vital supplies of food and humanitarian aid to the Caribbean nation.
Fils-Aimé was formally sworn in as Haiti’s new prime minister on Monday in a ceremony attended by various government officials in Port-au-Prince.

“We are in a transition, an immense project. Of course, the essential first project — and one necessary to the success of the transition — is the re-establishment of security!” Fils-Aimé declared at the ceremony, drawing applause from those in attendance.
The transitional council tapped Fils-Aimé for the job after eight of its nine voting members signed a declaration on November 8 to replace Garry Conille, who had been in office for less than a year. Copies of the signed declaration were leaked over the weekend and published on the country’s official gazette early Monday.

In a statement shared with CNN on Sunday, council member Fritz Jean said the council reached its decision after considering several issues with Conille’s tenure as prime minister. Among them, Jean said Conille had made decisions without informing the council and took on the duties of the president, such as engaging in diplomatic affairs.
Conille’s predecessor Ariel Henry stepped down earlier this year amid spiraling gang violence.

Reebok Launches ‘Sport is Everything’ Campaign, Celebrating Diverse Athletic Passions Worldwide
Reebok unveiled its latest campaign, Sport is Everything, a 60-second ad that unites athletes and artists from around the globe, embodying Reebok’s belief that sport transcends definitions and boundaries. The campaign, now airing on streaming and TV networks like Hulu, ESPN, NBC, and Paramount, reaffirms Reebok’s commitment to returning to its sporting roots in upcoming seasons.
“There are few other brands that have lived at the intersection of sports and culture like Reebok has throughout its history,” commented Reebok CEO, Todd Krinsky. “This anthem is an expression of our unique point of view on sport, of what it is, and what it can be.”

Featuring a lineup of ten Reebok ambassadors, including Puerto Rican musician Anuel AA, basketball star Angel Reese, boxer Shakur Stevenson, NFL’s Justin Fields, Panamanian goalkeeper Luis Mejia, and others, Sport is Everything transports viewers across continents, capturing the diverse ways people experience sport. Narrated and soundtracked by Reebok partner and rapper Tobe Nwigwe, the campaign conveys a motivational message that each person’s unique athletic journey is celebrated.
“What is sport?”, poses Tobe Nwigwe, teeing up the film. “It’s more than training at dawn and drills after dark. More than fast footwork and pushing through pain. It goes beyond the gym, through city streets and onto the stage. Sport is the breaks between the sweat and sessions in the studio. It’s the silence before the applause. Sport is knowing you got game, on and off the field.”

“I love the ‘Sport is Everything’ message because it’s something that resonates with all of us,” said WNBA All-Star and fashion icon Angel Reese. “Whether you’re a world-class athlete, gamer, chef, or musician, sport is about anything that excites you—it’s a community we can all share.”
“This is a special moment for Reebok,” concluded Krinsky. “Witnessing Reebok’s evolution firsthand over the past three decades – through the many ups and downs – it’s great to get back to a place where we can deliver a powerful message that inspires people around the world. We can’t wait to share what’s next.”

The campaign marks Reebok’s steady push back into the sports arena, building on its 2021 announcement to reclaim a strong sports presence. Naming legends Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson to executive roles, the brand has since forged league partnerships and signed marquee athletes to reestablish itself within global sports culture.

Britney Spears Has Been Spending Time with Son Jayden, But Kevin Federline Wasn't Aware

Britney Spears has been reconciling her relationship with 18-year-old son Jayden James Federline, but it appears his dad Kevin Federline was not aware.
Back in May 2023, it was reported that Britney had agreed with Kevin‘s request to move both of their kids to Hawaii with him.
Jayden has now returned to California after his graduation from high school, but it’s being reported that his brother Sean Preston, 19, is remaining in Hawaii.
So, what’s going on between Britney and Jayden?

“They have been spending a lot of time together,” an insider told Page Six.
Another source added, “Britney is thrilled to have her baby back. Everything is moving in the right direction.”
Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told TMZ, “If there has been a reconciliation it’s news to Kevin.”

Trans Adult Content Creator Alexis Hexx Fires Back At Le’Veon Bell : “If You Want to Call This Defamation, More Will Be Revealed”
Le'Veon Bell Admits to Facetiming Transwoman, Claims He Was Unaware She Was Born Male and Blocked Her Immediately

In the latest chapter of the social media back-and-forth between ex-NFL star Le’Veon Bell and trans adult content creator Alexis Hexx, Alexis has posted a video response on Instagram to address Bell’s recent claims. The controversy initially erupted when Alexis, a transgender adult entertainer, posted allegations that Bell had messaged her, accusing him of hypocritical behavior given his vocal stance on trans issues. Bell quickly responded, calling her statements a “clout chase” and denying that he was unaware of her gender.

In her latest video, Alexis explained her reasons for going public, expressing that her motivation was to expose Bell’s alleged double standards. She shared how she initially disclosed her transgender identity early in their messaging and defended herself against accusations of deception.
“I obviously don’t want to talk about this anymore,” Alexis stated in the video. “But with this person’s response, I’m now being painted as a complete liar, which I am not. It’s just funny to me that you posted the screenshot of you messaging me first, on my OF Twitter, which explicitly shows that I’m trans. I even told you that I was trans once it got onto text, and you were fine with that.” Alexis argued that her public statements were less about seeking attention and more about calling out what she described as a pattern of behavior by people who express anti-trans sentiments while still engaging privately with trans individuals.

Alexis acknowledged that she anticipated backlash for her post, “As I was typing out the tweet, I simply was calling out hypocrisy,” she continued. “I think it’s funny that you’re saying all these things and then hitting up trans women, which is a tale as old as time.”

Bell, however, had a different perspective. In his initial response, Bell wrote, “I embarrassed my lady because I’m out here in random dm’s when I shouldn’t be… all of this could’ve easily been avoided if I’m just staying solid to my relationship.” Acknowledging his missteps in being in “random DMs,” Bell still maintained he was deceived, stating that the truth about Alexis’s identity came to him only after they FaceTimed. He referred to the incident as a clout move, alleging that Alexis was using his support of Donald Trump as a reason to “out” him.

“I INSTANTLY knew right away you were a man and you got BLOCKED,” Bell stated, dismissing the claims and clarifying that he has no issues with the trans community in general, but feels this situation is “clout-chasing.”
In her response, Alexis emphasized her pride in her identity and rebuffed those scrutinizing her appearance, saying, “I don’t care that I might look masculine. I have lived in this body my entire life, and I’ve always been happy as a trans person.” She also added that legal threats won’t intimidate her, saying, “You’re saying that I need to call a lawyer and that this is defamation when it’s just the truth. If that were to happen, then even more things would get revealed.”

Whether this controversy will continue to escalate is anyone’s guess, but Alexis has made it clear that she’s ready to stand by her truth, while Bell has shown equal resolve in maintaining his version of events. For now, both sides are standing firm, each defending their own truths.
