#FASHIONFILES: Bottega Veneta’s Winter 2024 Campaign Is Otherworldly
Bottega Veneta unveils its winter 2024 campaign, transporting its aesthetic to the barren, surreal landscape of Area 51. Matthieu Blazy’s latest work for the Italian fashion house stands at the intersection of minimalism and the avant-garde, evoking an otherworldly edge.

Photographer Alec Soth captures the Bottega Veneta collection, where sculptural coats, oversized trousers, and voluminous knits establish the narrative for the season. Each image blends sophisticated tailoring with an undeniable eccentricity, giving the campaign a distinctive cinematic presence.
The stark, empty horizons are the perfect foil to Bottega Veneta’s understated yet bold designs. The models’ movements mirror the fluidity of the garment. Matthieu Blazy’s Bottega Veneta collection redefines the everyday wardrobe, breathing new life into time-honored classics. These designs make their presence felt through structural play and refined detail.

The winter 2024 campaign is a profound ode to luxury, reflecting Bottega Veneta’s place as a master of both the timeless and the forward-thinking.

#RHOA: Kroy Biermann Hoping To Force Sale of Marital Home With Kim Zolciak!
It’s been almost a year-and-a-half since Don’t Be Tardy alums Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann filed dueling divorce papers. The mess has been marinating since. Aside from their frequent domestic disputes, they also have insurmountable money woes that largely center around one thing: their Alpharetta, GA McMansion.

Since putting their home on the market for $6 million back in October 2023, the two have slashed the price several times. Despite the home’s deeply discounted current price of $3.95 million, they haven’t found a buyer.

Now that the home is set for foreclosure next month, Kroy wants to buckle down and sell it. However, he says that Kim’s been standing in the way. Now, Kroy wants the judge to permit him to sell the home without Kim’s authorization.
According to legal docs TMZ obtained, Kroy recently asked a judge to allow him to force the sale of the home. He wants to do it without Kim’s OK before it’s foreclosed out from under them next month.

As Kroy’s done before, he highlighted Kim’s allegedly irresponsible spending habits. He says her “rallying cry for poverty is falling on deaf ears.” He claims she still goes out almost every night, gambles, buys expensive wine and clothes and gets plastic surgery. That Surreal Life money’s surely gone for good.
Kroy says since there haven’t been any buyers at the home’s $3.95 million price tag, he’d consider lower offers. He says Kim rejected an offer for $3.5 million. According to Kroy, she won’t take anything less than $3.85.

The home has a $1.32 million IRS lien against it. Kim and Kroy owe $2.2 million on their mortgage, and there’s another lien for $250,000 on a home equity line of credit. There are also three attorney liens. Yeesh. The docs say that Kim’s logic, anything below $3.5 wouldn’t cover all of the debts AND leave her enough money to buy her own place, so she’s not budging.

Kroy’s name is on the mortgage, so he’s worried about his credit being impacted if/when the bank takes the home, potentially next month. He’s asking for Kim to be removed from the decision-making process so he can sell the home at a price he deems fit. He requested an emergency hearing before any potential buyers decided to bow out.

Whoever buys the home better have a large budget for sage to clear out the negative energy!

#NewMusic from Estelle Returns With New Single “Oh I”!

The song is the lead single from her upcoming sixth studio album which is set to release this Fall.
The new single was written by Estelle and co-produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Keith Harris, who previously collaborated with her on the global smash hit “American Boy.” Their creative synergy now brings us “Oh I,” a song that delves into the journey of making a choice to change and the commitment to that decision.

For the creation of “Oh I,” Estelle tapped into her British soul-pop inspirations and the 80s and 90s international house music she grew up on. Drawing from the sounds of artists like Jamiroquai, N’dea Davenport, Soul II Soul, Loose Ends, Robbie Williams, Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Martha Wash, Rosie Gaines, and Sylvester, Estelle infused the song with decades of musical influence. She adds:

“Pretty much everything I’ve absorbed from years of listening and moving through the world as a lover of music and being born in London showed up for me. ‘Oh I’ is intended for everyone who’s had to get real with themselves and take their joy back. And if this isn’t you, I pray that you are reminded of your joy and self, and feel even more joy hearing this record.”

#HipHopNews: Nicki Minaj Accuses JAY-Z And Roc Nation Of “Punishing” Lil Wayne After Super Bowl LIX Snub!
Nicki Minaj isn’t holding back. On Monday (Sept. 9), she took to social media to call out JAY-Z and Roc Nation for snubbing Lil Wayne as Super Bowl LIX’s halftime show headliner.
“One n**ga took a knee,” she shared via Twitter, referencing Colin Kaepernick. The Queen rapper later turned her focus to Hov’s music and social justice partnership between Roc Nation and the NFL: “The other n**ga took the bag. He gon’ get you ‘n**gers’ in line every f**kng time.”

“[You] got everything in the world. Still spiteful and evil. Disgusting. Be happy, Abeg. Go be f**kng happy, [n**ga]. In [the] rap business. In [women's] business. When you got the politicians and the police, you [are] good [though],” she continued before seemingly calling out Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez.

“Denying a young Black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego. Your hatred for Birdman, Drake and Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?” Minaj questioned in a separate tweet. “The GOAT?! NOLA, what’s good?! Eminem stood firm on having 50 Cent come out. A white man. [That] s**t [is] sad.”

The “Super Bass” hitmaker’s comments referenced Eminem’s Super Bowl LVI performance. In 2022, the Detroit-based artist refused to take the stage without his “You Don’t Know” collaborator. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar also joined him for the event, which took place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

As previously reported, Lamar is scheduled to headline Super Bowl LIX’s halftime show in New Orleans on Feb. 9, 2025. The decision was met with some backlash, as many fans felt that a native artist such as Lil Wayne would’ve been a better fit.
Music-wise, Minaj’s Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded will arrive on streaming platforms on Friday (Sept. 13). She revealed the official artwork in August.

Here's why BeyoncĂ©’s album 'Cowboy Carter' was SNUBBED by the CMA's

Despite having the biggest new country album of the year, BeyoncĂ© received a complete shut-out from the 2024 Country Music Awards. Her Cowboy Carter topped the country chart — a historic first for a Black woman singing country — and spent 22 weeks on the Billboard top 200 album ranking. Yet despite the CMAs giving nominations to other pop crossover artists, including Post Malone and Shaboozey, the voting body denied Cowboy Carter nominations in any category.

The rejection marks the second time the CMAs and its audience have clashed with BeyoncĂ©. But while the 2016 backlash over her CMA performance with the Chicks arguably stemmed from tension over the artists’ political identities, it’s hard to chalk this snub up to anything but misogynoir at its most blatant — especially in a year that saw both Malone (in a chart-topping collab with Morgan Wallen) and Shaboozey nominated for Single of the Year.

There are several complicating factors that may have contributed to the CMA’s diss of Cowboy Carter. But it’s also clear that sometimes the simplest explanation may be the truest.

Cowboy Carter may have suffered from a lack of promotion
The lead single off Cowboy Carter, “Texas Hold ’Em,” had just about the biggest release boost ever — a drop during the Super Bowl on February 11, 2024. That date is important, because while the song immediately lit up the charts and saw significant radio play, it took two days, per Billboard, before country radio stations actually received copies of the song from BeyoncĂ©’s label, Parkwood, via Sony Nashville. As detailed in the industry blog Saving Country Music, the media narrative that swiftly coalesced of country radio refusing to play the song wasn’t actually accurate. Rather, due to the way the song was positioned initially — it was first cataloged as a pop song rather than a country song, and serviced first to pop stations — it took a week before most country stations added the song to their playlists. When that finally happened, on February 20, the song received radio play on 79 country music stations across the country, and debuted atop Billboard’s Hot Country Songs charts. BeyoncĂ©’s label even took out an industry ad to thank them:

Beyonce’s promotional thank you to country stations during the week of the country radio debut of “Texas Hold ’Em.” Country Air Check
As Billboard noted, “Country radio has traditionally been reluctant to play songs that aren’t serviced to them or then actively promoted by the label.” Billboard further pointed out that BeyoncĂ© didn’t heavily promote her 2016 crossover single “Daddy Lessons” either, which may have contributed to its lackluster performance on the country charts at the time.

That lack of promotional energy may have hurt Cowboy Carter in the long run. Although the album was a hit, it slid rapidly down the Billboard ranks and faced tough competition from artists like Wallen and Taylor Swift — particularly in a male-dominated year that saw men sweeping charts and receiving tons of radio play despite a bumper crop of new releases from female artists.

BeyoncĂ©’s label seemed disinclined to promote the album or its songs beyond the initial drops: “Texas Hold ’Em” received no follow-up music video, and BeyoncĂ© did no regional promotion or in-person radio drop-ins to boost the song’s recognition to radio listeners.

Much of this is understandable as falling within BeyoncĂ©’s brand; her superstardom is powered as much by mystique and glamor as her artistry itself. That mystique lends itself to abrupt album drops with little promotion, but not to over-exposure through traditional industry channels like radio.

However, there also seemed to be a deliberate choice on BeyoncĂ©’s part to actively disengage from promoting Cowboy Carter as a country album — quite literally, in that she initially announced it by saying, “This ain’t a country album, it’s a BeyoncĂ© album.” If she intended for her fans to make the argument that, in fact, it was a country album, that tactic worked; fans swiftly got Apple Music to change its initial designation of the songs from “pop” to “country,” and pushed a petition to get the album more radio play to over 27,000 signatures. If industry insiders didn’t feel sufficiently catered to, though, that sense of being overlooked could easily have translated to a lackluster response when the CMA voting rolled around.

There’s another explanation for all of this, though — and it’s the one you’re thinking of.
(Straight) male crossover artists, including Black artists, tend to be welcomed at the CMAs

It’s no secret that the country music industry has a longstanding problem with excluding artists of color. The CMAs specifically famously snubbed first BeyoncĂ© for “Daddy Lessons” (which was itself a musical lesson in the erasure of Black artists from country history) in 2016 and then Lil Nas X in 2019. The CMAs rejected Lil Nas from every musical category while giving him a nod for his collaboration on the song with Billy Ray Cyrus — effectively suggesting that he owed the song’s massive success to a white man and not his own merit.

That this happened several months after Lil Nas came out as gay might also have factored into the equation, given that other straight Black male artists like Darius Rucker have found success and a warm country welcome in Nashville. Artists like Charley Pride and Ray Charles have also broken boundaries in the genre, though the fact they were already huge stars prior to turning their talents to country might have been a factor as well.

The Lil Nas snub also puts this year’s CMAs — in which BeyoncĂ©’s own Black male collaborator, Shaboozey, got multiple top award noms — into sharp perspective. Shaboozey, a Nigerian American multi-genre artist, got a huge boost into the mainstream from collaborating with BeyoncĂ© on two songs on Cowboy Carter, and then saw his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” go viral; it was hailed as one of the (many) songs of the 2024 summer and received a record-breaking amount of radio play across country radio.

By first boosting and promoting, and then nominating, Shaboozey’s work on the back of his collaboration with BeyoncĂ©, the industry seems to be sending a message, however inadvertent it might be, that the artistry of Black women lags behind that of their straight male counterparts. That’s quite a statement to make about Cowboy Carter, an album that features country legends like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson.

But it’s also undeniable that the industry is more hospitable to male pop crossover artists. Post Malone has come under fire for collaborations that appropriate styles from Black artists, a problem that stands uncomfortably next to his collaboration with Wallen, whose incredible career boost following his n-word scandal is arguably an interlinked issue. Yet country fans had little trouble embracing Malone and Wallen’s “I Had Some Help,” and the CMAs rewarded the song with four total nominations.

Meanwhile, while BeyoncĂ© has undoubtedly opened doors for artists including Shaboozey, the progress of Black women in country remains fraught. While the industry has upheld Black artists like Valerie June, Mickey Guyton, and Yasmin Williams, it has yet to bestow CMA awards on any of them. Last year, legend Tracy Chapman and her iconic song “Fast Car” became the first Black woman in history to win a CMA award for Song of the Year — but she did so only because of a white man, Luke Combs, and his viral cover of the song.

In other words, while there may be some logistical arguments behind the industry’s snub of BeyoncĂ© that have nothing to do with identity, the CMA has a noticeable pattern of erasing and sidelining Black women, even in their own art. BeyoncĂ© is actively aware of this gatekeeping; Cowboy Carter is built on the marginalized contributions of centuries of Black artists that came before her. It’s hardly any wonder she distanced herself and her album from the country establishment from the start; she likely knew well before the rest of us that the CMAs were never going to let her in the door — even with the entire world clamoring for her to be let in.

Tyrese Arrested Over Unpaid Child Support, But “Miraculously” Finds Funds
Tyrese was arrested on Monday morning (Sept. 9), according to reporter Dennis Byron.
The singer was detained over unpaid child support — upwards of $73,000 to be precise — for his 5-year-old daughter with ex-wife Samantha Lee. However, an hour later, Byron reported that the father of two “miraculously found the money” and was “arranging for it to be paid.” Byron joked, “He will likely be home for dinner.”

TMZ corroborated the report, noting that Tyrese was initially set to pay Lee $10,000 monthly starting in April 2023. So, this arrest was made because he held in contempt of court.

Ahead of the arrest and court proceedings, Tyrese posted a series of photos of his two daughters, Shayla and Soraya.
“The love that a father can have for his children can’t quite be explained……. Whatever the outcome is today…… I am and will forever be their FATHER,” the Beautiful Pain crooner captioned.
Tyrese also revealed that he might be arrested, claiming that Lee’s legal team — Adam Gleklen and William Alexander — were “besties” with Judge Kevin M. Farmer, who’s presiding over his case.

“All of these names are very public knowledge because they are all very public judges and lawyers [who] demanded that I come to court and cancel my press and media for my ‘1992‘ movie and my new ‘Beautiful Pain‘ album interviews,” the singer wrote in a since-deleted post.

He noted that he’d be appealing all of Judge Farmer’s rulings because he’s tried to get him “thrown off the bench twice.” This is also the judge who handled Tyrese’s divorce from Lee and in those proceedings, the singer accused Farmer of “collusion.”

Tiffany Haddish’s NYFW Stunt Flops: ‘She’s So Annoying’

Tiffany Haddish went viral on Saturday after Kathy Hilton dared her to disrupt a runway show during New York Fashion Week.
Tiffany, Kathy and her daughters, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, sat in the front row at Monse’s runway show on Saturday.
Tiffany took Kathy’s suggestion to walk the runway without permission.

“Right now,” Kathy said to Tiffany. “Right now?” Tiffany responded.
“Now. There’s nothing going on,” Kathy dared her.
So Tiffany got up and strolled down the catwalk as Paris and Nicky cracked up laughing.
Others sitting in the front row looked confused as Tiffany strolled by.
Tiffany walked around the entire runway. As she returned to her seat, she nearly bumped into a model on the runway.

Tiffany’s cringe-worthy moment on the catwalk was captured on cell phone video that went viral online.
Luckily, the models are professionals and their timing wasn’t thrown off by Tiffany’s stunt.
Nicky, Paris and Kathy thought the stunt was hilarious. But NYFW fans were furious. They wondered why Kathy didn’t tell one of her daughters to make a fool of herself.

Others said Tiffany was desperate to impress her rich, white friends.

Apple launches iPhone 16 with Apple Intelligence
Apple debuted its iPhone 16 smartphone line during its "Glowtime" event at its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., on Monday. The phones come in four styles: the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Plus, and the premium iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The new phones are Apple's first designed specifically with its Apple Intelligence AI platform in mind and feature more powerful chips that can operate the software. The base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus now come with the same programmable Action button found on last year's iPhone 15 Pro line.

Both the base iPhone 16s and the iPhone 16 Pros also get new dedicated touch-sensitive camera buttons that you can click to launch the camera app. You can then click again to take a photo or click and hold to take video.

A light press on the button brings up a new overlay that allows you to access controls like zoom. Third-party apps like Snapchat are also taking advantage of the camera button to quickly share your shots.
Overall, the $799 iPhone 16 and $899 iPhone 16 Plus look similar to last year's models, save for the way their rear cameras are arranged. They're now stacked vertically to allow for spatial photos for use with the Apple Vision Pro headset.

Inside, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus get Apple's new 3-nanometer A18 chip, which includes a 2x faster neural engine. Apple says the A18's central processing unit is up to 30% faster than the one found in the iPhone 15 line and includes a 5-core GPU, which helps run Apple Intelligence, games, and camera features. Apple says the new chip will also improve the phone's battery life.

The iPhone 16s will also come equipped with computational photography software to create a 2x telephoto option that simulates an optical zoom via the standard wide-angle lens. The ultra-wide lens, meanwhile, gets upgraded to 48 megapixels.
Apple further says it's bringing visual intelligence to the camera app that allows you to take a photo of something like a restaurant to get reviews of the place or take a shot of a flyer for a concert and immediately add the info to your calendar. If you see a bike in person that you'd like to buy, you can capture a photo of it and then get a quick Google link to purchase it.

This sounds similar to Google's existing Circle to Search feature for Android phones. I'll have to see if it works as well as Google's offering when I get my hands on it.
The $999 iPhone 16 Pro and $1,199 iPhone 16 Pro Max get larger displays this time around, with the Pro's screen jumping from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches and the Pro Max's screen increasing from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. The bigger displays come courtesy of thinner bezels that make the phone look more like a single sheet of glass from the front.

Both Pro phones come with Apple's new A18 Pro chip, offering better performance than the A18 found in the iPhone 16s. The processor's CPU is 15% faster than the A17 Pro and uses 20% less power.

The Pro and Pro Max also get more powerful 48-megapixel fusion cameras and 48-megapixel ultra-wide cameras. The Pro gets a new 5x optical zoom to match the Pro Max's capabilities. The iPhone 15 Pro only offered 3x zoom.
Like the iPhone 16s, the Pros get the same camera controls via the new dedicated camera button, and later this year Apple will add a two-step shutter that locks onto a subject via a software update. You'll also now be able to shoot video in 4K 120 frames per second for slick slo-mo videos. You can also adjust frames per second after you shoot your videos via the Photos app.

On the audio side of things, the Pros get four built-in microphones and spatial audio recording. An Audio Mix feature lets you determine how you want audio to sound in the videos to shoot professional-sounding movies.
As for Apple Intelligence, Apple says the software will be available as a free software update, with the first features coming as a beta in the US next month. Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish language versions of Apple Intelligence will be available next year.

Apple didn't announce any new features for Apple Intelligence, but did spend time reminding consumers of the capabilities it announced during its WWDC event in June.
The company touched on its Private Cloud Compute, which runs server-based AI features without saving any of your data. Apple says its AI-driven writing tools will be deeply integrated into iOS, ranging from first-party apps like Mail to third-party programs like Slack and Goodreads. The company further says Apple Intelligence will allow you to easily search for specific photos and moments in videos.

Summarization tools will be available across iOS including for texts, work messages, and email. Mail also gets priority emails that alert you to what Apple Intelligence believes are your most important messages.

Empire State Building Lights Up In Honor Of James Earl Jones

Empire State Building is paying tribute to James Earl Jones. The Art Deco skyscraper in Manhattan has lit up in the colors of Darth Vader in honor of the late actor, who famously voiced the character in the "Star Wars" franchise.
On Monday, September 9, the official Instagram page of the Empire State Building shared a video of the building glowing in black and red to project the image of Darth Vader. "Rest in Peace Lord Vader," read the caption of the post.

Another video shared by the account showed another variation of the tribute to Jones. In this version, the building lit up in yellow and red while projecting the image of Darth Vader walking and holding his lightsaber. The footage was captioned with, "May the Force be with you James Earl Jones," a reference to a famous quote from the movies.

Jones passed away on Monday, September 9 at his home in New York at the age of 93. The cause of death was not immediately given, but he had been struggling with type 2 diabetes.
In April 2016, Jones spoke publicly for the first time in nearly 20 years about his long-term health challenge with type 2 diabetes. He was diagnosed in the mid-1990s after his doctor noticed he had fallen asleep while exercising at a gym.

Over his illustrious career that spanned more than five decades, Jones became a household name through his roles in landmark films such as "Star Wars" and "The Lion King", where his voice gave life to Darth Vader and Mufasa, respectively. Apart from his film work, Jones was recognized with an EGOT honor, including an honorary Oscar in 2011, two Tony Awards, two Emmys and a Grammy.

Mark Hamill, who portrayed Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" film series, was among the first to express his sorrow. Posting on social media, Hamill poignantly wrote, "#RIP dad." Actress Octavia Spencer also paid tribute on Instagram, stating Jones' "voice and talent will be remembered always" and emphasized his legendary impact on cinema.
Disney's Bob Iger honored Jones by acknowledging his role in bringing characters like Mufasa and Darth Vader to life, citing the "gentle wisdom of Mufasa" and "the menacing threat of Darth Vader." Iger added, "The stories he brought to life with a uniquely commanding presence and a true richness of spirit have left an indelible mark on generations of audiences."

Jones was first married to actress-singer Julienne Marie. His second wife of 34 years, actress Cecilia Hart, died from ovarian cancer on October 16, 2016. He is survived his son, Flynn Earl Jones.

Kendall Jenner And Bad Bunny Make Their Split Apparent At U.S. Open In NYC
Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny may no longer be an item. The pair were spotted attending the men's tennis final at the U.S. Open in New York City on Sunday, September 8, but they are visibly distant from each other.
In photos obtained from the occasion, Kendall and Bad Bunny were seen enjoying the match separately. The model was snapped sipping on a drink from her seat as she was joined by her friends.

"The Kardashians" star donned a white suit and a matching skirt for the sports event, which took place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York. The 28-year-old beauty added style by rocking black shades as she focused on the match between Italy's Jannik Sinner and the United States' Taylor Fritz.

As for Bad Bunny, the "Verano Sin Ti" artist was seen in the crowds with his pals as Kendall was nowhere to be seen. For the occasion, the Puerto Rican star donned shorts, a white shirt and a blue suit jacket.

Upon catching wind of the photos, Internet users were convinced that Kendall and Bad Bunny had called it quits again. "Bad bunny and Kendall definitely broke up - they are sitting separately," one person noted.

Another opined, "To be honest they always seemed like a hot fling kind of thing. I can see them going back and forth for fun but unsure if anything serious will come out of it."
"Savage move, at the same place but sitting far apart!" one other commented. Meanwhile, someone else said, "Calm down everyone. Maybe it just means the sponsor of suite 1 paid for Kendall's attendance and the sponsor of suite 2 paid for Bad Bunny."

Kendall and Bad Bunny allegedly rekindled their romance earlier this year after breaking up in December 2023. The on-and-off couple first hinted that they rekindled their romance with a cozy sighting at the Met Gala afterparty in New York City this past May. The 818 founder further fueled the rumors when she was spotted at the musician's concert in Orlando.

A source revealed that the exes were prioritizing their relationship and spending quality time together. The insider claimed, "It's going well and they're prioritizing spending time together as they figure it out."
Fans, however, started to think that the couple might have broken up for good as they haven't seen together in public for a while.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Veteran Sasheer Zamata Comes Out “as One of Those Late-in-Life Lesbians”
Sasheer Zamata is “one of those late-in-life lesbians.”The Saturday Night Live alum, who next stars in the anticipated Disney+ series Agatha All Along opposite Kathryn Hahn, has come out as part of the LGBTQ community in a new interview with Them.
“I’m out in my life and I do keep my personal life kind of private, but I also don’t necessarily want my identity to be private,” told writer Amos Mac during an interview in Pasadena. “I guess I’m one of those late-in-life lesbians. I just feel very comfortable and confident in my life.”

Zamata, who has a list of credits that also includes Woke, Home Economics, Tuca & Bertie and Waco: The Aftermath, commented on how she had been repeatedly cast to play lesbians on some of those projects prior to coming to terms with her sexuality. “I kept getting cast as queer women. I played a lesbian on Home Economics. I played a lesbian on Woke. I played a lesbian on Tuca & Bertie. A lesbian on Last O.G. I kept getting these roles. And this is before I myself was figuring out my identity. I was like, ’Whoa, what are these casting directors seeing that I’m not seeing?'”

As for why she decided to discuss it now, the 38-year-old talent explained, “No one asks straight people about their journey of discovery, but I guess it felt like if I didn’t say anything, I’d be ignoring a part of me, and that doesn’t feel very good. But yeah, I’ve definitely had thoughts of, not necessarily keeping it a secret, but [that] there’s no need to say anything about it.”

The wide-ranging interview also finds Zamata commenting on her career and pop culture, like the current headlines involving pop star Chappell Roan. “As far as what people deserve to know? Nothing. They don’t deserve anything. I feel very fortunate so far. I have fans who are good about respecting my privacy, and I hope that continues. And I hope artists like Chappell Roan who are very clear about boundaries keep going.”

Donald Glover Postpones North American Childish Gambino Tour Dates to 'Focus on My Physical Health'

Some of Donald Glover's fans will have to wait a little longer to see him live.
The musician, actor and comedian, who raps as Childish Gambino, postponed the remaining North American dates of his ongoing The New World Tour in order to dedicate time to his "physical health."

"hey everyone. unfortunately i have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks," wrote Glover, 40, on X (formerly Twitter), advising fans to "hold onto your tickets."
The Mr. & Mrs. Smith star continued, "ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in north america when they are rescheduled. thanks for the privacy. thanks for the support. thanks for the love."

The New World Tour kicked off on Aug. 11 at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma, and he's since performed shows in cities including Milwaukee, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Nashville, Atlanta and New Orleans.

Glover previously postponed his Sept. 8 show at the Toyota Center in Houston "due to illness."
His tour was set to make stops in Austin, Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle and more areas throughout the United States and Canada through Oct. 3 at Chicago's United Center.

The New World Tour's subsequent European and Oceanic legs are still set to occur in late 2024 and early 2025, respectively.
Bando Stone & the New World, released in July, will be Glover's last album as Childish Gambino. "It really was just like, 'Oh, it’s done,'" he previously told The New York Times. "It’s not fulfilling. And I just felt like I didn’t need to build in this way anymore."

He explained the decision to put his stage name to rest is also inspired by the decreasing success of full-length albums, touring difficulties, life as a father to three sons (Legend, Drake and Donald Glover III) and his film and television projects as well as his multimedia company Gilga.

Elsewhere in the NYT interview, however, the "This Is America" artist clarified that he "always" wants to "do music."

‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ Star Keke Jabbar Died from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
*The autopsy report from the Alabama medical examiner confirmed KeKe Jabbar’s cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning.
As reported earlier, the “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star passed away in July at age 42. JoAnn Jenkins, a YouTuber and close friend of the Jabbar family, previously confirmed that she died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

As IceCream Convos reports, Jenkins said in a livestream, “Keke did not overdose, Keke did not take her own life. Keke loved life. Keke was not ready to leave life. She wasn’t ready to leave her children, her husband or her family.”
Jenkins added, “Last night, she turned her car off and she fell asleep,” Jenkins explained. “Her car was not functioning [and there] was something already wrong with her car.”

According to Jenkins’s comments, it seems likely that Jabbar returned home, parked her car, and inadvertently fell asleep with the engine running and the garage door closed. The malfunction in her vehicle appears to have tragically resulted in her death.
“So, seven-something this morning, her husband goes to the garage. He sees Keke, what he thinks is asleep in the car. He tries to get her attention. He opens [the car] up. She isn’t breathing. Her husband, her life partner, her best friend tried to bring his wife back, the mother of his children, and he couldn’t,” said Jenkins.

“Keke passed from carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That is all,” she shared.
According to TMZ, citing the autopsy report, “the reality star had 64% carboxyhemoglobin in her blood,” the outlet writes, adding, “Carboxyhemoglobin is what forms in red blood cells when carbon monoxide binds to hemoglobin … which sticks 200 times more tightly than oxygen.”

Jabbar also had oxycodone and oxymorphone in her system, but the primary cause of her death was poisoning.

Tory Lanez’s “Prison Tapes” Shut Down After Guards Confiscate Recording Equipment

Tory Lanez‘s weekly releases of “Prison Tapes” have come to an abrupt end after prison guards at the California Correctional Institution raided his cell block and confiscated his recording equipment.
The rapper, currently serving time for his conviction in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, had been using his time behind bars to continue making music.

TMZ Hip Hop confirmed the news with Ceasar McDowell, CEO of Unite the People and a chief deputy on Tory’s legal team. McDowell shared that prison officials informed Lanez’s team that inmates are strictly prohibited from having recording devices for several reasons, leading to the confiscation.
It’s currently unclear if Lanez will face additional consequences. For now, fans will have to rely on tracks like “Basement” and “Appellate Court,” which he released before his equipment was seized.

Deshaun Watson Faces New Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Cleveland Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson Mourns the Loss of His Father Ahead of Season Opener
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is facing a new legal challenge. On Monday, Watson was sued in Houston for sexual assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit, filed under the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” echoes the accusations made in more than 20 previous lawsuits against Watson in 2021.

According to the lawsuit, the date was set for October 10, 2020. The plaintiff alleges that Watson initially could not find her apartment and became aggressive, yelling over the phone, saying he “doesn’t have time for this.”
When Watson eventually arrived at her apartment, Jane Doe invited him in while she finished getting ready in her bathroom. She kept the bathroom door open to talk to him, but noticed he wasn’t responding. When she went to check, she was shocked to find Watson completely naked on her bed, lying face-down. He then allegedly demanded she massage him, specifically pointing to his buttocks.

Feeling scared and intimidated, Jane Doe tried to de-escalate the situation by massaging his back instead, but Watson insisted on focusing on his glutes. When she continued to refuse, Watson allegedly turned over, revealing an erection, and began demanding a massage closer to his groin.

The lawsuit alleges that Watson then grabbed Jane Doe, partially disrobed her, and sexually assaulted her without her consent. The graphic details describe Watson’s aggressive behavior, leaving Jane Doe feeling terrified and paralyzed. Eventually, she gathered the courage to escape, grabbing a heavy object for self-defense and ordering Watson to leave, which he did in a rage.

The statute of limitations for most personal injury cases is two years; however, in Texas, a five-year limit applies for cases alleging sexual assault.

The plaintiff is represented by Tony Buzbee, who also represented the many women who sued Watson in 2021.
This new lawsuit could have significant implications for Watson and the Browns. The NFL may scrutinize Watson further under the Personal Conduct Policy, and if a suspension is imposed, the Browns could potentially void his remaining salary guarantees and end their relationship

Miami-Dade police release video of Tyreek Hill being detained

Police body camera video released Monday appears to show a dispute over a raised car window before officers take NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill out of his vehicle and handcuff him.
Hill, a star with the Miami Dolphins, was detained after he was pulled over Sunday on the way to the team’s regular season opener at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

The video shows Hill's car pulled over and an officer on a motorcycle telling him he was speeding and to pull forward, which he does.
The officer knocks on the driver’s side window and asks why Hill does not have a seat belt on, and Hill tells him several times, “Don’t knock on my window like that.”

A Miami-Dade motorcycle officer forcibly extracts Tyreek Hill from his vehicle Sunday.
“Why do you have it up? I have to knock to let you know I’m here,” the officer says in the video.
Hill then says he is late and tells the officer to give him a ticket. The window then goes up, prompting the officer to knock on the rolled-up window again and tell Hill to keep it down.

The window goes down a crack, and Hill appears to say, “Don’t tell me what to do.”
“Keep your window down, or I’m going to get you out of the car,” the officer replies. “As a matter of fact, get out of the car.”
A second officer threatens to break the window, and the first officer tells Hill: "Get out of the car right now. We’re not playing this game." Hill appears to tell the officers that he'll get out. As the door opens, an officer reaches into the car and pulls him out. That officer and another put Hill face-down on the pavement.

"When we tell you to do something, you do it. You understand?" an officer — not the one who pulled Hill over and knocked on his window — appears to say as Hill is on the ground, the video shows. "You understand? Not when you want but when we tell you. You're a little f------ confused."
In the video, Hill is saying something while he is on the ground, but the audio of what he says is hard to make out. The officer can twice be heard saying, "Too late."
After Hill is stood up, he says the officer "was beating on my window like he's crazy," the video shows.

The video then shows an officer telling Hill to sit down, and then another officer grabs his shoulders and seems to force him to a seated position on the sidewalk. Hill shouts, "I just had surgery on my knee."
Later, as Hill is still seated on the sidewalk, another officer tells the officer who pulled him over: “You know who that is, right? That’s one of the Dolphins’ star players,” to which the officer says, “Oh, yeah?”

Hill, 30, told NBC News in an interview that aired Monday that he was opening his door to get out. He said the incident “went from 0 to 60."
“A simple speeding ticket turned into something like me lying face-down on my stomach for a simple speeding ticket,” Hill said.
Hill said that he gave the officer who pulled him over his ID and that he was cooperative. “I already had my ID ready, so I gave him that,” Hill said. “Which is crazy — so I was being very cooperative from the get-go.”
Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith and defensive lineman Calais Campbell, who were driving by, saw Hill being detained and stopped to help, Hill said.

Campbell ended up getting handcuffed. A different officer from the one who knocked on Hill’s window is seen in body camera video handcuffing Campbell.
Campbell said Monday that he was trying to defuse the situation. He said on ESPN's "First Take" that he thought: "I don't know if I have the ability to de-escalate this, but I'm going to try, because this is someone that I care about. It's a friend of mine."

"Of the officers there, it was really one guy that was extreme," he said. "Everybody else, it seemed like they were just going with what they were supposed to do."
Hill was cited for reckless driving, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told NBC South Florida on Sunday. Those violations shouldn’t have led officers to detain Hill, he said.

The Dolphins said in a statement Monday that they were “saddened by the overly aggressive and violent conduct directed towards Tyreek Hill, Calais Campbell and Jonnu Smith by police officers before yesterday’s game.”

The team called the situation "maddening."
"It is both maddening and heartbreaking to watch the very people we trust to protect our community use such unnecessary force and hostility towards these players, yet it is also a reminder that not every situation like this ends in peace, as we are grateful this one did," the team said. "'What if I wasn’t Tyreek Hill?’ is a question that will carry with resounding impact."

Miami-Dade Police Director Stephanie Daniels said Sunday that she has ordered an internal affairs investigation and that one of the officers had been placed on administrative duties pending the outcome.
The police department did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the Dolphins' statement Monday night.
