#RHOA: NeNe Leakes celebrates birthday with ex Nyonisela Sioh after calling him ‘dumb’ and ‘broke’
NeNe Leakes celebrated her 56th birthday Wednesday with her ex Nyonisela Sioh after she called him out on social media for being “broke” and “dumb.”

The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star could be seen sitting next to Sioh while dining with friends at SHÅŒTÅŒ in Washington, DC., according to a video shared by the fashion designer on Instagram Thursday.
“God has blessed me with another year ’round the sun and I am grateful,” Leakes said in the clip.

She also blew out the candles on a chocolate-covered cake as one of her friends warned her not to burn her blond locks.
The birthday outing comes nearly a month after the reality star posted and deleted a cryptic message about the Nyoni Couture owner.
“Sis you can have him! TRUST ME…..it’s not what you think,” she wrote, according to a screenshot obtained by the blog Neighborhood Talk.

“The bedroom sex is horrible, He’s dumb, BROKE, A loser, A CHEATER, A LIER (sic) And a NARCISSIST. RUN WHILE YOU CAN.”

The former Bravo star went public with the businessman while celebrating her 54th birthday party — just three months after her longtime husband, Gregg Leakes, died after a battle with colon cancer.
After fans questioned why NeNe moved on so fast after losing Gregg, the mom of two revealed that her late husband had given her his blessing to date again during one of their final conversations.

“I will love Gregg forever & ever! Grieving is hard! Even harder & depressing alone,” she told the Shade Room in December 2021.
“Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were ‘be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you, has found a good one.’”

#HipHopNews: Nicki Minaj Sets Record As Female Rapper With The Most No. 1 Albums in History
Nicki Minaj reclaimed her spot at the top of the music industry with her latest LP, Pink Friday 2, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
It sold 228,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, of which 92,000 were pure sales. Pink Friday 2 also marked Minaj’s third No. 1 on the 200, setting her apart from Foxy Brown as the female rapper with the most chart-topping projects.

Additionally, the “Big Difference” artist became the first woman in hip hop to have No. 1 albums in two separate decades.
Notably, the achievement came on the heels of Minaj expressing frustration with Billboard. She alleged the publication was sabotaging her project sales due to a fan contest she organized.

“[I’ve] been discussing my 100 Barbz contest for months. They said Billboard reached out to say they’re gonna take away sales [due to] me telling y’all about the 100 Barbz thing,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. A separate post read, “They [are] so mad. They said [170,000 to 190,000 album-equivalent units] knowing it was 200,000 already.”

Pink Friday 2 came out on Minaj’s 41st birthday (Dec. 8). The 22-song offering boasted a number of high-profile features, including Drake, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, and Lil Uzi Vert. Her collaboration with the Philadelphia native, “Everybody,” went viral on TikTok with over 101,000 video creations.

Last Friday (Dec. 15), the deluxe edition dropped with two additional tracks: “Beep Beep (Remix)” featuring 50 Cent and the Monica and Keyshia Cole-assisted “Love Me Enough.”
Interestingly, Minaj was also rumored to appear on Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s “New Body” that day. However, she rejected the clearance request, and Vultures was ultimately pushed back.

During an Instagram Live, Minaj explained her decision. She stated, “Now, regarding Kanye, that train has left the station, okay? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand-new album. Why would I put out a song that’s been out for three years? Come on, guys.”

BREAKING: Jury finds Jonathan Majors guilty of assault and harassment of ex-girlfriend

Jonathan Majors was found guilty on Monday of two of the four counts against him.
The nine-person jury found the actor guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in connection with a March 25 incident that erupted, according to Manhattan prosecutors, between Majors and his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Following the verdict the judge ordered a new order of protection and set sentencing for Feb. 6.
While testifying, Jabbari said she spotted a text on the actor’s phone from another woman, that's when she grabbed his phone and she claims he physically assaulted her.

Majors has maintained his innocence via his attorney Priya Chaudhry. He faces up to one year in jail.
During the two-week trial, Majors' ex-girlfriend Jabbari took the stand for several days. Majors did not testify.
Jabarri testified that throughout their relationship she was “scared” of Majors and also feared he would hurt himself if she left him.

In their opening statement, prosecutors said Majors slapped Jabbari in the face and fractured the middle finger on one of her hands after she took his phone. Street surveillance footage from the night shows Jabbari getting out of the SUV and Majors picking her up and putting her back into the car. Prosecutors claim the actor threw her back inside the vehicle “like a football."

Majors, 34, has denied striking Jabbari and his lawyers contend he was actually the victim, and suffered scratches.
Majors' attorney says Jabarri went out dancing with strangers after the alleged abusive encounter. But Jabarri claims she was seeking comfort by those who came to her aid on a street corner following the assault.
Chaudhry has also suggested that the fact that Majors is Black and Jabbari is white is the reason he — and not she — was arrested after the alleged altercation.

The star of “Creed III” and the critically acclaimed 2019 independent film “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” Majors’ rapid rise to superstardom was stalled in March after the allegations emerged.
Since then, some of Majors’ work has been pulled or postponed, including the highly anticipated release of the Sundance award-winning film “Magazine Dreams.” He is also starring in the upcoming Marvel film, “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.”

Anita Baker remained unfazed by criticism over her latest show in Houston. Having been accused of being rude by fans during her performance, the "Caught Up in the Rapture" singer took to social media to offer her clapback.
"When they realize, they can't Stop Your Blessings?... they simply Lie," the 65-year-old wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, December 17. "As in, Liability. Screenshots? Are 4Ever. Lyrics, I'm as petty, as you are."

In a separate tweet, Anita penned, "The REAL News? Via Industry Touring Mag *Poll Star* The Songstress Longevity Tour, is a Record Breaking SOLD OUT, Success, for My demographic." She added, "The Best Fans."
When taking the stage at the Friday concert, Anita told someone in the audience to stop recording her with their phone. While singing "Feel the Need" from her 1983 debut solo album, "The Songstress", she expressed her disapproval.

"Early in the morning! Late in the evening, baby," Anita sang, before ad-libbing, "Turn off the camera, baby, I don't know who you are, move back! ... Get on back, I don't know who that is."
It prompted people to call her out on the Internet. "anita baker was too high to be performing aw naw," one user opined. "Anita Baker was high as hell man [crying laughing emojis] and not the good high," another commented. A third then chimed in, "Anita Baker is notorious for being a straight a**hole. Head many MANY stories about how rude she is."

However, one person who claimed to be one of the attendees came to Anita's defense. "I was there so imma speak. People kept rushing the stage and interrupting her and security was just letting it happen. I would've done the same thing bc they were messing up other people's experience who paid money too. It was a sold out arena she can't just let everyone run up," the individual

‘Good Times’ Star John Amos Gives Update After Accusing Daughter of Elder Abuse

John Amos is hoping to put the past behind him when it comes to recent family drama, noting that “all families go through trials and tribulations of some sort.”
The Good Times star and his filmmaker son, K.C. Amos, recently spoke with People about their family struggles; earlier this year, the legendary actor accused his daughter, Shannon Amos, of “elderly abuse,” something which Shannon denied.

“It is his sibling, that is my daughter, my first child. I love her. K.C. loves his sister. We just have, I guess, what might be best described in the tabloids is an acrimonious relationship, but everything heals in time, and the love is still there,” John told the publication.

Back in June, Shannon started a GoFundMe page for her father, claiming he was a victim of “elderly abuse.” However, the page was later taken down after John and K.C. said the claims were false and that Shannon was the one inflicting the abuse.
“To all of my fans, I want you to know that I am doing well. I am not in ICU, nor was I ever fighting for my life,” John said in a statement at the time. “First, I want the GoFundMe campaign about me to stop immediately, and the funds subsequently returned to those who made donations.”

K.C. later shared a video of his father in the hospital, talking on the phone with what was presumed to be a lawyer or police officer. “[Shannon] would be the primary suspect, if you would,” John said in the video. “I don’t know if that’s the right term to use or not. But she’s the one that I would attribute my elderly abuse to. It’s definitely a case of elderly abuse.”

A month later, K.C. was arrested in West Orange, New Jersey, for allegedly threatening to kill Shannon. In the complaint, Shannon said she’d received several threats from her brother, including text messages with photos of “firearms and gang affiliations.”
Shannon also claimed that her brother has bipolar disorder and believed that she had hired a person to kill him, and this was him attempting to retaliate because he thought his life was in danger.

In the latest interview, John said he hopes the family can have a “harmonious relationship at some point,” adding, “Right now, it is somewhat acrimonious, but never mind what you might read or hear about in the paper or on this medium or that medium platform. Suffice it to say we are still family, and we love each other, and that’s the bottom line.”

John, who is best known for his role on Good Times and playing Kunta Kinte in the landmark miniseries Roots, will delve deeper into his life in the upcoming docuseries America’s Dad, which has yet to receive a release date.
“We’re calling it America’s Dad because so many young men have come up to me and said, ‘Your father was my father,'” K.C. told People. “And I mean, people of all walks of life. I mean, even guys [who] look like bikers with ZZ Top beards have come up to me and said, ‘Can I give you a hug? Your father was my father, man.’ And they just want a chance to shake his hand.”

John also paid tribute to Norman Lear, who passed away last week at the age of 101. Lear helped develop Good Times, which catapulted John to the limelight.
“I know I was in the hands of probably the most innovative and important figure ever to grace television or any studio production facility,” John said. “He was one of a lifetime master, an innovator, and he had tremendous character.”

Simone Biles Sets the Record Straight on Pregnancy Rumors After Fans Believe They Spotted a Baby Bump
Simone Biles is setting the record straight after fans speculated that she was expecting a baby with her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens. Biles took to her Instagram Stories on Dec. 13 to clear the air.
Fans began speculating about the four-time Olympic gold-medal-winning gymnast after she shared several pictures on Instagram on Dec. 12 of herself supporting her husband at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Owens and the Packers were playing against the New York Giants, and Biles shared the post with the caption, “Monday night football.”

The 26-year-old Olympian was sporting a beanie with her husband’s number “34” on the front and a baggy army jacket paired with a brown turtleneck and matching leggings. Fans quickly began speculating in the comment section that Biles was pregnant, but she shut it down with a post in her Instagram Stories the following day.

“I hate that I even have to address this,” wrote Biles. “But please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant.’ I’m not pregnant.”
Biles and Owens were married back in April, and she has been a frequent supporter at his football games. After it was revealed that pop star Taylor Swift was dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and she began showing up to support him at his games, fans inevitably made comparisons on social media between the two famous couples.

After the Chiefs played the Packers on Dec. 3, fans weighed in. One fan wrote, “I’d rather have Simone Biles on our side than Taylor Swift any day of the week.” The fan also shared a video of Biles receiving a goat hat from a fan in the stands.
“Hi, Simone. What a pleasure to meet you,” said the fan. “You are the greatest of all time. I had to make you something, Okay? You are the GOAT.”

With that, the fan gave Biles a goat hat with “Biles” and “Goat” written on the sides. The fan also gifted Biles a Green Bay Packer hat with Owens’ name on the front.

Fantasia Barrino Accuses Airbnb Host Of Racial Profiling After Her Family Was Kicked Out Of Home In The Middle Of The Night

Fantasia Barrino revealed that she and her family experienced racial profiling during their Airbnb stay.
The Color Purple star took to her social media accounts to clarify that she had rented a house for her son and his friends. She extended invitations for a daytime celebration, and when the festivities concluded, the overnight guests aligned with the reservation count, adhering to all rules.

“My stomach is so uneasy this morning,” she tweeted. “I don’t say much when people do me wrong, but I can’t stay quiet on how my family and I were just treated from a host with @Airbnb @airbnbhelp trying to kick my kids and I out at 12:00 midnight. The host accused us of having a party with loud noises outdoors because they saw balloons being dropped off and a game truck with no generator in the early part of the day.”

Barrino also highlighted that the website didn’t prohibit having guests over at the house. She emphasized the house decor, an outdoor fire pit and jacuzzi, a game room, and balloon ribbons in the garage as evidence that gatherings were a common occurrence at the property.
“It’s evident to me this was racial profiling and the treatment we received was due to the color of our skin,” she added. “I wanted my son to enjoy his friends (10-12) year old and make him feel special as I have been traveling for the last 35+ days promoting a movie I starred in. This time, I dare not stay quiet.”

Additionally, Barrino took to Instagram and posted a detailed message along with a carousel of photos showcasing the children during the festivities. She went on to elaborate that she and the diverse group were requested to leave the house on the very first night of their stay.

George Santos Claims ‘Gen Z Loves Trump’ and Calls HBO’s Biopic About Him ‘F—ing Fiction’ During Ziwe Interview

Ziwe’s “ZNN” interview, a CNN spoof with her own Ziwe News Network, began with onscreen text saying “No congressman were paid in the making of this interview even though George asked three times.” She then listed civil rights icons and asked Santos to say what they meant to him. The list included Marsha P. Johnson, James Baldwin, Harvey Milk and Bowen Yang’s “SNL” impression of Santos — which he said deserves an EGOT.

When asked if he would want Yang to play him in HBO’s movie about him, Santos said “that movie is not ever going to happen. That book has no perspective of me or anybody close to me. It’s fucking fiction,” referring to Mark Chiusano’s novel “The Fabulist: The Lying, Hustling, Grifting, Stealing, and Very American Legend of George Santos.”

Santos, the Republican representative who was removed from office Dec. 1 after an ethics report accused him of breaking federal law, joined Ziwe after she wrote to him on X that he would “be an iconic guest.”

LISTEN HERE:
The scandal-ridden congressman from New York had 13 criminal charges leveraged against him by the federal government, including wire fraud, theft of public funds, money laundering and making false statements to Congress. He was caught using campaign money for personal expenses — including on car payments, OnlyFans, makeup and designer clothing — and accused of misleading Congress about his financial circumstances on official disclosure statements.

When asked how he’s paid for his designer clothes and Botox, Santos said, “I’ve always worked, Ziwe, so yeah, my own money. Like everything else I own.”
Santos, the sixth member of the House ever to be expelled, was under intense public scrutiny before he even took office due to his penchant for lying about his identity. He lied about where he went to high school and college, and where he worked before getting elected. He even lied about being Jewish, telling the New York Post after he was exposed: “I am Catholic. Because I learned my maternal family had a Jewish background, I said I was ‘Jew-ish.'”

He took shots at other politicians, saying “they’re all frauds. If you were to put them all under the same scrutiny I was under, you’d fucking vacate the whole goddamn building.” He listed Kevin McCarthy, Lindsay Graham, Bob “Gold Bar” Menendez and Dan Goldman as fellow alleged fraudsters.

Santos made several other cringe-inducing claims in Ziwe’s interview, like how he doesn’t “see color,” how “Gen Z loves Trump; he’s an icon” and that he will “outlive each and every member of Congress.” He also weighed in on the likelihood of him joining “Dancing With the Stars” in the future — “I’ll pass.”
And would another political run be in Santos’ future? “I’m not ruling it out,” he said, but he might pivot from Republican to Independent because “the country needs more independent thinkers.” He also denied even being a “politician,” rather an “elected public servant for 11 months, proud of it, never caved to the establishment of politics.”

Ziwe, who climbed the comedy ladder at The Onion and “The Rundown With Robin Thede,” created a YouTube interview series titled “Baited With Ziwe,” in which she humorously “baited” her white friends into saying racial or otherwise politically incorrect faux pas. The show moved to Instagram Live and then landed at Showtime in the form of her variety series “Ziwe,” which lasted two seasons and featured guests including Phoebe Bridgers, Bowen Yang, Fran Lebowitz, Julian Castro, Stacey Abrams, Chet Hanks, Emily Ratajkowski, Julia Fox, Michael Che and Drew Barrymore.

Santos ended his interview by saying he couldn’t define “empathy.”
“I don’t understand it. People accuse me of having no empathy. Maybe I can’t define ’empathy.’ I believe I’m empathetic to causes, to people, to situations,” he said, followed by Ziwe asking a “below-the-belt” question about if he’s excited to go to prison.

New Jersey Hall of Fame Unveils Whitney Houston Garden State Parkway Service Area and Other Ongoing Initiatives in Her Honor
At the newly redesigned service area, guests are now greeted by a captivating and towering image of Whitney Houston, accompanied by a biography and a display of the platinum record she earned for her timeless song, “I Will Always Love You.”

The exhibit invites visitors to delve deeper into Whitney’s iconic career, showcasing not only her achievements but also quotes and compelling images on an interactive “Selfie Monitor,” where visitors can pose for a photo alongside Whitney Houston or explore profiles of numerous other celebrated New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees.

“This is another step in our ongoing mission to uphold outstanding New Jerseyans as we educate and inspire future generations to live their lives on purpose and realize their highest sense of self and for the greater good,” said Steve Edwards, President of the New Jersey Hall of Fame. “Through our exhibitions at service areas and transit terminals, our mobile museum, our school curriculum programs, and our upcoming Entertainment and Learning Center at American Dream this spring, we will tell the story of New Jersey heroes like Whitney Houston and the obstacles they overcame to be their best.”

Several public officials attended, including State Senator Joseph P. Cryan, the local state representative and original sponsor for the New Jersey Hall of Fame, and State Senator Patrick J. Diegnan, who led the effort to rename the parkway service areas after New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees. Newark Council Member-At-Large Rev. Louise Scott-Rountree introduced Pat Houston, representing the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.

“Whitney was the true definition of a Jersey girl,” said Pat Houston. “She loved New Jersey and her hometown. She was born, bred, and educated here. Whitney has traveled to six of the seven continents, and no matter where she visited, she always looked forward to returning home to Jersey. And with more than 400 awards and honors to her credits, I know she would be most proud of the Whitney E. Houston Garden Parkway Service area renamed in her honor.”

Southwest Airlines Hit with $140M Fine for 2022 Holiday Travel Chaos
Southwest Airlines has been charged a historic $140 million fine for its 2022 holiday travel meltdown, marking a penalty 30 times larger than any previous airline fine.
According to reports, the US Department of Transportation has mandated the airlines to provide travelers with a $75 credit if their arrival is delayed more than 3 hours when it’s the airline’s fault, including mechanical issues.

“Today’s action sets a new precedent and sends a clear message: if airlines fail their passengers, we will use the full extent of our authority to hold them accountable,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said.
The $140 million fine, along with approximately $600 million in refunds and reimbursements, will predominantly go towards compensating customers affected by future Southwest flight cancellations and delays, as stated by the DOT.

During the 2022 holiday season, Southwest Airlines canceled over 16,900 flights, leaving over 2 million passengers stranded.
The airline said it had “learned from the event” and made new investments to improve customer service and “our resiliency.”
Southwest said in a statement: “We’re pleased to have reached this consumer-friendly settlement, which includes a new, industry-leading policy to compensate Customers during significant delays and cancellations.”

“Taking care of passengers is not just the right thing to do — it’s required, and this penalty should put all airlines on notice to take every step possible to ensure that a meltdown like this never happens again,” said Buttigieg.
