#HipHopNews: Drake Has Announced His Forthcoming LP Titled 'For All The Dogs'
On Saturday (June 24), Drake’s new poetry book became available via select retailers and his website drakerelated.com. The Toronto-bred rapper shared multiple photos of influential city newspapers that he used to promote Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness. Fans who secured the newspaper in cities like Houston, New York City, and Los Angeles quickly found a small QR code. The link went to the website titlesruineverything.com, where the Grammy-winning emcee teased his latest musical effort.
Drake is no stranger to creative marketing roll-outs for his projects. Many of his albums have found ways to capture the attention of many, which helps build anticipation for his music. His previous collaborative album, Her Loss with 21 Savage, used a mock press run to get people talking about the album. The two hip hop heavyweights spoofed top publications like NPR, Howard Stern, COLORS, and a printed fake Vogue magazine.
This time, the battle-tested rap veteran is looking to keep it simple. “I made an album to go with the book,” Drake penned on his new website. “They say they miss the old Drake. Girl, don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.” Fans were excited about the announcement and are now anxiously awaiting a release date from The Boy.
Unlike many other A-list creatives, Drake’s been pretty consistent regarding albums. He has released six different albums since 2018. Currently, there are no further confirmed details about the newly announced album. Social media sleuths are working overtime to secure more information about the project.

Keyshia Cole makes "peace" with her mother's passing in new biopic
Keyshia Cole is baring her soul in her biopic Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story, which airs tonight (June 24) on Lifetime. The film recollects Cole’s rise to fame and the personal hardships she endured, including vulnerable moments shared between the singer and her later mother, Frankie Lons. The songstress portrays herself in the project, while veteran actress Debbi Morgan plays Lons.
“This is like my way of making peace with a lot of things,” she told People on Friday (June 23). “I was able to relive those moments and make peace with it all. That was my goal.” As previously reported, Cole’s mother passed away after celebrating her 61st birthday on July 18, 2021. A coroner’s report obtained by TMZ later confirmed that her death was the result of an accidental drug overdose. Prior to the tragedy, Lons had suffered from addiction for decades, with some of her challenges playing out before millions of viewers on reality shows like “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” and “Frankie & Neffe.”
While the enigmatic personality never shied away from being her authentic self in front of the cameras, Cole told the outlet she was still hesitant to rehash those darker memories. “Part of me was like, ‘I don’t want to show her in that way.’ But she had fans as well, and I thought it would be kind of selfish at this point,” said the “Heaven Sent” vocalist. “And there’s a lot of great things about my mom that they have never seen. She was always joking or always going crazy, one or the other.”
In the end, Cole said the film helped her find peace. “A lot of the moments felt like she [Lons] was there,” she said. “I felt I was able to tell my mom goodbye because I didn’t get to tell my mom goodbye. In an eerie way, I was able to speak with my mom. Maybe she could hear it.” Next Friday (June 30), the “Love” artist is slated to release a new record inspired by her mother.

Ed Sheeran pulled off double duty for his concert in Landover, Maryland.
According to fans (via Entertainment Tonight), the 32-year-old musician explained that he was doing a stripped down, pre-show for the crowd as Khalid, who was supposed to open, was involved in a car accident.
“He is recovering and we wish him the best,” Ed shared with the crowd about Khalid‘s condition.
The pre-show set included tracks from his most recent album, - (Subtract).
Ed also cracked a few jokes about playing during daylight hours versus the nighttime he usually does.
“Usually when I start playing, it’s like pitch-black and now I get to see everyone. It’s awesome,” he said. “This is pretty fun.”
Ed then added, “I kind of feel like when you’re the main act, there’s a bunch of pressure because people have paid to see you but I feel like when you’re the opening act you’re sort of like, ‘Let’s have fun. Let’s play songs.’”
After a handful of more songs, Ed did confirm that Khalid would still be joining the tour in Boston.

Jason Derulo is sparing no expense to celebrate his son’s 2nd birthday. The 33-year-old singer shares son Jason King with ex, Jena Frumes, and revealed in a new interview all the details about the bash, including how it cost him around $30,000!
During his appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Jason revealed the jaw-dropping number.
“It was pretty big. It was probably around $30,000. The theme was ‘growing 2 soon,’ like, using [the number] two,” he said.
The outdoor party by the pool featured a ball pit, many craft stations, arcade games, an inflatable bounce castle, and even a magician.
Jason joked about raising a son, revealing it’s actual craziness: “You look away for one second [and] he’s literally on top of something, just boys are just dangerous, like, do you want to live or not?. Like, why are you jumping off the chandelier? How did you [get there]? It’s crazy.”

In his birthday tribute, he wrote that “Two years ago, you entered my life and brought endless love, laughter and mischief. From the adorable chaos of the terrible twos to the heart-melting moments that fill my days, you’ve stolen my heart in the most craziest way.”

Blair Underwood Marries Longtime Friend Josie Hart in Intimate Caribbean WeddingFriends for 43 years, the actor and Hart were married at the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic: 'It was surreal and magical'
When it came to planning his wedding with longtime friend Josie Hart, Blair Underwood was a very hands-on groom.
“I've been very involved,” Underwood, 58, tells PEOPLE exclusively of the couple’s destination wedding. In front of 100 guests, including actress Kim Fields and actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner ,the two were wed on June 24 Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic. “I’m a Virgo and a bit of a perfectionist so I like to make sure details are taken care of.”
Wedding planner Theresa Calcos of Casa de Campo worked with Angelica and Adriana Noriega of Caribbean Celebrations who created the ambience and decor for the celebration, which included a welcome party before the wedding.
Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception featuring a menu of Dominican ceviche, coconut breaded shrimp and grilled bacon wrapped plantains along with the bride’s signature drink, Prosecco with a splash of grenadine.
"It was a beautiful, soul-touching celebration of kindred spirits, love and family; as incredible as Josie and as phenomenal as Blair," says Fields.
For the ceremony, Hart wore a bespoke transitional two-in-one gown featuring a fitted trumpet silhouette and a detachable overskirt with a cathedral length train designed by Nneka C. Alexander of Brides by Nona Couture Atelier. Underwood opted for an ISAIA ivory wool/silk jacquard patterned evening jacket with satin lapel paired with linen vest and evening trousers. Under an arch adorned with roses, two exchanged handwritten vows.
"The first time I saw her in the dress, she looked like a princess," Underwood says. "She was so beautiful. The deep emotions that were displayed during the ceremony, the lightness and fun of the reception, it all felt humbling because it all just fell into place. It was amazing."
At the reception, the couple celebrated with a five-tier, French Vanilla and butter crème frosted cake by Flor Reposteria. While DJ Germán Cabello of GCStar Punta Cana provided the music along with Underwood's friend, Milo Levell, the bride and groom had their first dance to Tony Terry’s song “With You”—performed live by the singer as a surprise to the Hart—before fireworks lit up the night sky.
"It was surreal and magical, " Hart says of the day. "His vows, to hear him say the words he said to me for our forever was incredible. Between our children and all of them giving toasts, the fireworks right after our first dance, the entire day was just beyond my expectations."
Underwood first met his bride when he was 16 and the two began a friendship that would span the next 43 years. “My mother loved and adored her. We lived separate lives on separate coasts. We never saw each other a lot. But when we talked, there's always such a strong connection of just understanding each other,” he says.
The two began dating after their respective divorces and Underwood proposed last fall. “It just feels so right,” he adds. “I just feel like it is the next step in moving forward in my life, and doing it together in our lives together.”
More than anything the actor is especially grateful to have the love and support of their family and friends. “For all of those who know us, and I'm talking about our nine kids, grandkids, former spouses. For everybody to be on-board and embrace and accept this union is nothing but God," he says.
"To find love and discover love in someone who's been around in my life, in my family's life, and as I have been in hers, for so long in an honorable, platonic way. To find each other in this space when we're both single and looking to see how we'll spend the rest of our lives. It's a beautiful love story.”
Backup Dancer Saves Beyoncé From Wardrobe Malfunction While Performing in Germany
Earlier this week while performing in Germany, Beyoncé almost came out of her top, but lucky for her, one of her talented backup dancers saved the day.
Beyoncé performed Wednesday in Hamburg, and during her “Break My Soul,” set, a wardrobe malfunction almost played out in front of the attendees.
Her left breast was about to pop out of her skintight outfit, TMZ reported. But thanks to her dancer-turned-hero, who happened to be one of the brothers from the French dance group Les Twins rushed over and provided cover.
Beyoncé being the amazing performing was too busy giving her fans her all that she didn’t seem to notice what was about to take place.
If it wasn’t for the dancer, Beyoncé might have exposed herself. The dancer was able to cover the songstress while she secured her top and put it back in place, all without her missing a beat.
