#RHOP: Candiace Dillard’s husband was ‘not well’ after ‘hurtful’ ‘RHOP’ rumors
Candiace Dillard’s husband, Chris Bassett, was “not well” after he became the subject of unsubstantiated gossip perpetuated on “The Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 7.
“He was not well. As Dorinda [Medley] would say, ‘Not well, bitch,’” Dillard, 36, says in this week’s episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast while promoting her role on ALLBLK’s scripted TV drama “Hush.”

“He was not well for quite a while. It was a mind eff for him to have this picture painted of him because that’s what Gizelle [Bryant] did.”
Bryant, 52, notably accused Bassett, 44, of making her feel “completely uncomfortable” during a one-on-one discussion that took place backstage at the “RHOP” Season 6 reunion.

The “Reasonably Shady” podcast co-host told Dillard this much after a group dance class that aired in October, confounding the “Drive Back” singer.
Candiace Dillard appears on the latest episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“She painted a picture of him that didn’t belong to him. She created a narrative that was completely false and damaging and hurtful,” she tells us.

“We were blown away at the number of messages and comments of people that were calling BS and saying that they didn’t believe it,” she continues. “But there’s always that 0.5 percent that says, ‘Oh, he did it,’ or whatever they say.”

Dillard shares that Bassett is doing “better now,” adding that he was “very hurt” by Bryant’s decision to publicly vilify him.
“There are headlines that will live on the internet that insinuate that my husband is a predator, and you can’t undo that. And that’s why it’s so damaging for people to be able to make things up,” she explains. “It’s hurtful, and he was very hurt by it.”

At the time of filming, Dillard — who wed Bassett in August 2018 — quickly gathered her bearings and broke the fourth wall in defense of her spouse.

After extracting from Bryant that Bassett “did not” exhibit predatory conduct at the reunion, Dillard spoke directly to producers and camera operators present for the scene.

“So this is a thing?” she said in frustration before walking away from Bryant. “We’re doing Chris is being attacked, that’s what we’re doing?”

She then had it out with a producer named Eric.
“If it’s going to be about maligning my f–king husband, you don’t want me here,” she asserted. “Michael Darby is available for that, the ass-grabbing motherf–ker who likes to actually make people feel uncomfortable. He’s available for that, not my husband.”

The scene went viral on social media for the star’s powerful delivery — and her shady remarks about castmate Ashley Darby’s estranged spouse, who has faced accusations of groping a “Potomac” crew member in 2018. (Sexual assault charges against Michael, 63, were eventually dropped.)

“As I’m sitting there, when Gizelle starts talking, I don’t know what she’s going to talk to me about. I have no idea,” Dillard recalls to us of the on-camera exchange, likening Bryant’s performance to a “rehearsed Broadway show that sold two tickets.”

She elaborates, “In my mind, I’m like, ‘What is happening? What’s going on? What are we doing?’”
Bryant previously told Page Six that she and Dillard were in a “good place” when “RHOP” wrapped this summer but noted that their ensuing participation in “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” Season 3 “didn’t end up well.” Today, the women seemingly do not have a relationship.

Bryant isn’t the only “RHOP” lady to have lobbed a heavy allegation at Bassett. At the start of Season 7, Ashley, 34, claimed that Bassett sent her an inappropriate Instagram message late at night.

However, it was later determined that the chef simply invited the TikTok enthusiast and her friend to stop by the rooftop bar he manages in Washington, DC.
Ashley’s accusation against Bassett ultimately put a halt to her burgeoning friendship with Dillard — and things only got worse as Ashley’s gal pal Deborah Williams subsequently claimed Bassett made a pass at her when cameras started rolling for Season 7.

That drama begins heating up in Sunday night’s episode.
“You can’t be happily married [on this show]. That’s the rule,” Dillard says with a sigh. “If you’re happily married, they’re going to come for you, they’re going to attack and you just have to be ready with your marital armor — which we are.”

Dillard spoke with Page Six while promoting her role on ALLBLK’s scripted TV drama “Hush.”
Dillard chalks up Bryant and Ashley’s behavior to “bad acting” in an effort to remain relevant.
“‘Potomac Housewives’ on Bravo TV is supposed to be our real lives. So if you don’t have a real-life situation to offer, find a seat or the unemployment line. That’s where you should go,” says the actress, who plays trophy wife Syleena Gibson on “Hush.”

“If you wanted to do scripted TV, Gizelle and Ashley, I’m sure that there are auditions for extra roles on ‘Hush’ for Season 2.”

As her career in entertainment ascends, Dillard has contemplated moving on from reality TV. For now, though, the former pageant queen is staying put as the platform is only adding to her success — especially in music.

“This is a conversation that we have a lot in my house. So when I came on to this platform, my goal was to use this platform to get to where I am,” she says. “It’s working … For as long as I am having fun on ‘Housewives’ — which very much was tested in Season 7 — I will be here.”

In 2022, Dillard completed an East Coast tour, performed live at BravoCon and prepped for the Dec. 30 re-release of her debut album, “Deep Space.” The deluxe version features the revamped single “Insecure,” a collaboration with hip-hop icon Trina.

“I love the fan base and the supporters that I have amassed on this platform. I am eternally grateful to Bravo for the support they have given me,” Dillard says. “They do not have to feature my music. They do not have to feature everything that I’m doing, and they are incredibly supportive of me.”

The R&B songstress — who joined the show in 2018’s Season 3 — jokes that she likes “a few of [her] castmates on most days,” so being a “Real Housewife” is “still worth it,” and she admits that it’s even “fun” at times.

“So I’m here until I’m not or until they fire me,” she tells Page Six. “Whichever comes first.”
“Hush” is available to stream on ALLBLK with new episodes dropping Thursdays. “The Real Housewives of Potomac” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

She also had a successful solo career, starting with her 1998 debut Enquiring Minds, which spawned the hit “Where Dem Dollas At!?” She left Three 6 Mafia in 2002, shortly after the release of her second album, Both Worlds *69. Cher Flashes Ring in Party Photo with Boyfriend Alexander 'AE' Edwards: 'Happy New Year, Daddy'
Cher is ringing in the new year with her boyfriend Alexander "AE" Edwards.
The iconic singer, 76, was all smiles as she attended an event with her beau by her side over the weekend.

"Happy New Year, Daddy," she captioned the photo of Edwards giving her a kiss on the cheek on Twitter.
In the snap, Cher also put her new diamond ring front and center, which recently sparked engagement buzz when the singer posted it on social media over the holidays, expressing that it was a gift from Edwards.

"THERE R NO WORDS," she captioned the post from Christmas Day.
After the photo prompted a slew of questions from fans, Cher explained, "I posted this cause his nails are so cool."

The Grammy winner and music executive, 36, first sparked dating rumors in November 2022 when they were photographed holding hands in Los Angeles.
Following the outing, Cher confirmed their relationship, while also defending their 40-year age gap, writing in a now-deleted Twitter post, "LOVE DOESN'T KNOW MATH, IT SEES ️ ️."

Cher responded to her haters yet again on New Year's Day, posting a second shot of her and Edwards staring lovingly into each other's eyes.

"This should Send you Haters to The Part in Wizzard of  OZ…WHEN DOROTHY THREW WATER ON THE wicked Witch & Melted her," she wrote on Twitter.

Before Cher, Edwards dated Amber Rose, with whom he shares a son named Slash. The two were together for three years before breaking up in August 2021 after Rose accused Edwards of cheating on her with at least 12 different people.

Meanwhile, Cher was married to the late Sonny Bono from 1964 to 1975 and the late Gregg Allman from 1975 to 1979. She is also no stranger to dating younger guys, having dated several men that were decades her junior in the 1980s, including Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, and Rob Camilletti.

"The truth was if I hadn't gone out with younger men, I would have never had a date," Cher told PEOPLE in 2021. "Younger men weren't intimidated by older women. But older men in my age category, they weren't having it."

Romeo & Master P Link Up To Settle Differences
The No Limit father and son duo put aside their recent beef and are looking to heal and communicate moving forward.
After a messy back-and-forth, fans everywhere hoped that one of rap’s most important families would reconcile. Furthermore, Romeo and Master P delivered and put aside their differences as son and father in the holiday season. They previously called each other out on social media for their handling of daughter and sister Tytyana Miller. In the few weeks since that exchange, they seem to have made amends.
Furthermore, both artists made Instagram posts to acknowledge the reconciliation. Moreover, Romeo wrote about the struggles of family, what kept him going, and the love he has for his father.

“In order to be used, you have to be willing to be misunderstood and humiliated sometimes,” he wrote. “No one ever thought little David could defeat the giant, and we all know the mistreatment of Jesus.

“My point, I’m willing to fall on my sword for mines!” he continued. “It was never about parent vs child, or this false narrative or that, it was about doing whatever had to be done for the growth of my family. Today, December 31st, me and my father @masterp had very hard conversations; ironically outside in the rain, but in order for any generation to grow, that communication has to be had and reciprocated on both sides. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Moreover, he concluded “No matter the journey ahead, our family can truly begin to heal and I believe many others will use our story as an example to learn from. What a way to close the year! Vivre (live) l’amour (love) et pardonner (forgive).”

Meanwhile, Master P’s post showed him taking self-accountability as a father and looking forward to healing with his family.
“Happy New Years 2023 is all about ‘Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead..” he wrote. “Pressing toward the Goal’ Philippians 3:13 As a parent, I’m growing, taking self-accountability and educating my family and the next generation. Love takes growth and forgiveness. Seek God first, and everything else will fall into place. @romeomiller and to all of my kids We All We Got!”

Still, what do you think of Romeo and Master P coming together after their differences? Let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest squashed beef, reconciliations, and healing in the community.

Jeremy Renner in “critical but stable” condition after snow plow accident
Representatives say he is "receiving excellent care" after being airlifted to hospital
Jeremy Renner is in a “critical but stable” condition after being airlifted to hospital following a snow plow accident on New Year’s Day.

The actor’s representatives confirmed to Deadline that he’d been hospitalised following the accident on Sunday.
They told the outlet that Renner was in a “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today” in Reno, Nevada, US.
Renner is now “receiving excellent care” with his family at his side after he was airlifted to hospital following the accident.

No further information has been made available so far.
Following the accident, local news outlet Reno Gazette-Journal confirmed that Renner has a home in the local area, which faced a storm on Saturday (December 31) that saw 35,000 homes in the region going without power.

Renner’s most recent TV appearance came opposite Hailee Steinfeld in Disney+‘s next Marvel show Hawkeye, which debuted in late 2021. The new series sees Renner return to the role of Clint Barton, with Steinfeld playing his protégée, Young Avenger Kate Bishop, who is poised to take over the Hawkeye mantle.

The official synopsis reads: “Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero.
“The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”

The show is the fourth live-action Marvel Disney+ series after Loki, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier and WandaVision.

Mega Millions jackpot soars to $785 million after latest drawing
The Mega Millions jackpot soared to a whopping $785 million after it was announced that nobody matched all six numbers in Friday's lottery drawing.

The winning numbers for Friday's $685 million jackpot were 1, 3, 6, 44, 51 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 7. The next drawing will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 3, and the new estimated jackpot is $785 million with the cash prize option estimated to be $395 million.

Friday's prize was the largest Mega Millions prize ever offered in the final week of any year, according to the lottery.
The jackpot has grown over the 22 drawings since the lottery's jackpot was last won on Oct. 14, when two ticket winners split a $502 million prize. The current odds of winning are one in 302.6 million.

It's continued to climb since the most recent drawing; after no tickets matched all six winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing, the jackpot was estimated to reach $640 million.

The estimated $785 million prize can be paid with annual checks over 29 years or in a lump cash sum for an estimated $395 million.

Only six Mega Millions jackpots have been won this year. Winning tickets were in California, Florida, New York, Minnesota, Illinois and Tennessee.

"On only three previous occasions has the Mega Millions jackpot gone beyond $700 million, and all three times those rolls continued on past $1 billion," Mega Millions said.
In July, the jackpot surpassed the $1 billion mark for only the third time in its history.

The historic $1.34 billion prize was won by an anonymous ticket owner in Des Plaines, Illinois.
The Mega Millions jackpot is the largest since the Powerball jackpot, when a single ticket won $2.04 billion Nov. 8 in California. A winner has yet to be announced.

Sam Ryder Demands More 'Diverse' Act To Represent UK At 2023 Eurovision
Sam Ryder hopes for a more "diverse" act to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2023. The 33-year-old singer found fame on TikTok in lockdown and ended up representing the UK during the annual singing contest with his song "Space Man" - during which he placed second behind Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra with their song "Stefania" - but has insisted that it is time for an artist of more diverse background to step into the spotlight.

"The UK has such a diverse plethora of talent and all I can hope is that what happened this year has encouraged more people from those diverse genres of and backgrounds o think 'Eurovision isn't a career killer'. I would love it to be a fan of Eurovision and its history," he told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column.

The "Tiny Riot" hitmaker worked in the construction business with his dad after initially giving up on his dreams of becoming a singer before launching a vegan cafe with his girlfriend and taking on work as a wedding singer.

Sam eventually returned to the music business after building up a large following on TikTok with his singing. It led to him signing a deal with Parlophone and being scouted as a potential entry for the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest this year.

He said of his decision to take part in Eurovision - which is due to take place in Liverpool in 2023 because of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, "The more I thought about it, the more I realised I was at the perfect point in my journey to throw all my chips on the table ... I had to go for it."

Kyra Bolden becomes Michigan's first Black woman Supreme Court justice
Kyra Bolden changed the course of Michigan’s state history when she became the first sworn Black female to serve on its Supreme Court. Bolden, 34, was sworn in on Sunday (Jan. 1).

She was appointed to the high court by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Nov. 22. The experienced legal system professional was chosen to succeed Justice Bridget Mary McCormack, who announced her retirement last year after holding the position since January 2019. Including Bolden, Michigan has only had seven female chief justices.

The Detroit News‘ political reporter Craig Mauger captured footage of the state legislator’s ceremony. McCormack passed the metaphorical baton to the rising justice when she placed her cloak over her successor’s shoulders. When Gov. Whitmer appointed the former criminal defense attorney to the Supreme Court, she said Bolden would “bring a unique perspective to our high court as a Black woman — and as a new, working mom — that has too long been left out.” She added, “Kyra is committed to fighting for justice for generations and I know she will serve Michigan admirably, building a brighter future for her newborn daughter and all our kids.”

“I will ensure equal access to justice, apply the law without fear or favor, and treat all who come before our state’s highest court with dignity and respect. I also know that this moment — becoming the first Black woman to serve on the Michigan Supreme Court — would not be possible without leaders like Judges Shelia Johnson, Debra Nance, Deborah Thomas, Cynthia Stephens and Denise Langford Morris,” said Bolden in a statement. She continued, “These are the Black women who blazed the path that I seek to follow. I hope that my voice on the court will inspire future generations to pursue their dreams. I am humbled by this honor, and I am ready to get to work on behalf of all Michiganders.”

Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons step into the new year as a couple
Yo Gotti really manifested the woman of his dreams when he rapped about Angela Simmons in 2016. Gotti and Simmons made their rumored relationship official on Instagram hours before the clock struck 12 on Saturday (Dec. 31), putting an end to speculation that they shared a love connection.

To mark the occasion, they posted glammed-up photos showing them dolled up for the night’s festivities. The confirmation of their budding relationship comes after fans suspected they were spending more than platonic time together in recent months. Simmons donned a black, fitted, sequin dress, sheer gloves and a bevy of diamond-encrusted jewelry. Gotti was just as dapper in a black tuxedo. She captioned the post, “You are all I need and more.”

As most fans know, the CMG founder blasted his feelings for the Pastry co-founder on his hit record “Down in the Dm.” On the record, he rapped, “And I just followed Angela (Simmons)/ Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons/ They like, ‘D**n Gotti, you bold’/ F**k it, I’m gone let the world know (#goals).”

In addition to posting matching photos, Gotti also shared a video. He captured Simmons standing beside a Rolls Royce, sipping champagne and canoodling with him. In his caption, he boldly declared, “Ain'[t] loss a crush since high school.” Their posts were flooded with comments. “He really manifested this! Omg,” wrote one person. A second commenter remarked, “Power in the tongue. I see y’all.” “Y’all look so good together,” read a third comment.

Gotti ended 2022 on a high note, both personally and professionally. His artist, GloRilla, had a breakout year when her smash record “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” earned her widespread success and the title of Best Breakout Artist during the BET Hip Hop Awards.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Avatar 2’ Nears $1.4 Billion at Global Box Office as 2023 Begins
Disney/20th Century’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” is in position to become the highest-grossing release of 2022 in the first week of 2023, with industry estimates projecting a domestic 4-day weekend of $82 million and a global weekend of $269 million to bring its total to $440 million domestic and $1.39 billion worldwide through Monday.

After winter storms weighed down moviegoing in much of North America during Christmas weekend, New Year’s weekend is showing signs that “Avatar 2” is demonstrating the legs that made its 2009 predecessor the highest-grossing film of all time. While industry estimates have slipped from the $87 million 4-day predicted after Friday, an $82 million result is still just a 14% drop from the film’s $95.5 million extended Christmas weekend.

At its current pace, “The Way of Water” will pass $1.5 billion worldwide sometime in the coming week, passing the $1.48 billion total of “Top Gun: Maverick” and becoming one of the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time. With a reported production budget of more than $400 million before an expansive global marketing campaign, “Avatar 2” was in a position where it needed to at least join that all-time top 10 to be theatrically profitable.

We will get a sense of how far it can go beyond that next weekend, as the holiday period ends and the theatrical market enters what is expected to be a slow period for new releases until the arrival of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” on Feb. 17. If the fourth weekend drop is anywhere within the range of the 26% drop of the first “Avatar” on the weekend of Jan. 8, 2010, not just in the U.S. but in other major markets, a final global total north of $2 billion may be back within reach despite the COVID outbreaks that have damaged the Chinese box office.

In second place on the charts is Universal/DreamWorks’ “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” which is keeping hopes alive of turning a theatrical profit even though it won’t come near the $555 million global total of the first “Puss in Boots” from October 2011.

The animated sequel has received sustained turnout from families over the past week now that the winter storms have subsided, with the 4-day domestic weekend increasing 13% over Christmas weekend to $21.7 million. Through Sunday, “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” has totals of $60.7 million domestic and $129.5 million worldwide against a budget of $90 million.

So far, “Puss in Boots 2” is approximately 33% behind the domestic pace of Universal/Illumination’s “Sing 2,” which was released last holiday season and grossed $90 million domestic around New Year’s weekend, going on to finish with a $162 million domestic/$402 million global total.

“Puss in Boots 2” will almost certainly fall short of that total, but still has a chance to leg out as another family animated title won’t come until Universal releases Illumination’s “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” in early April. Theatrical profits will likely be minimal at best, but Universal may see the film turn a bigger profit from digital on-demand sales, which insiders at the studio claim saw an increase in 2022.

Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is in third on the charts with $6.5 million grossed over the 4-day weekend. After eight weekends in theaters, its totals now stand at $440 million domestic and $820 million worldwide through Monday.

Pharma Millionaire Who Killed 8-Year-Old Son in Manhattan Hotel Room Found Dead
Gigi Jordan – the million mom who murdered her 8-year-old autistic son in a Manhattan hotel room – was found dead Friday morning in a Brooklyn home where she had been renting, her attorney and law enforcement sources confirmed.

Jordan's bail had just been ordered revoked by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor a day earlier amid ongoing questions and legal fights over whether she could remain out on bail as she sought a new trial.

The 62-year-old pharma millionaire had admitted to plunging a lethal dose of medications down her son's throat with a syringe in a hotel room in 2010. She then ingested multiple medications herself and emailed a relative, who alerted authorities.

Jordan claimed at her trial that she had decided to kill herself and her son, Jude Mirra, because she believed that one of her ex-husbands was planning to have her killed, and that without her the boy would fall under the care of her other ex-husband and would be sexually abused. Both men denied her allegations against them.

Jordan was convicted of manslaughter in November 2014 and sentenced to 18 years in prison.

One of her attorney's, Norman Siegel, confirmed Jordan's death saying it "is unbelievably sad." Appeals were ongoing, he added, and in his view Jordan "... had a lot still to contribute to society."

Sources said Jordan was found dead Friday around 12:05 a.m. An NYPD spokesperson declined to comment, except to confirm an ongoing death investigation linked to the Brooklyn residence.

Several officials said suicide was one possibility given Jordan's bail being revoked and that she was found dead in a bathtub with a note nearby. But Siegel said his client sounded in good spirits hours earlier when the two spoke by phone.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Benzino Accuses DJ Khaled and Funk Flex of Using Him to Get Famous ‘With No Reciprocation’
Benzino is calling out DJ Khaled and Funkmaster Flex for using him to get famous.
The former owner of The Source took to Twitter this week to issue a lengthy rant in which he took shots at the pair for taking advantage of his platform.

“It’s funny how when I owned the Source & EP’d the Source Awards I gave a lot these guys who are successful a major platform & some even a bag, but when I fell, they all act like they don’t me, I just smile how they big ‘celebrities’ now, back then needed my platform & helped them,” he wrote.

“I remember Dj Khalid dying to dj the Source Awards & to be in the magazine & I made it happen, or Kevin Hart wanting to host & I made it happen,” Benzino continued. “Funk master Flex another 1, I let him Dj, Now these niggas act like I’m a stranger, people don’t gaf, they use u with no reciprocation.”
Benzino went on to accuse Khaled and Funk Flex of switching up after they became stars, before claiming he has more respect for untapped talent than he does for the pair.

“I’m sorry, I seen these guys when they had nothing, they didn’t act the way they act now,” he wrote. “I got more respect for these young Niggas in the game, at least they looking out for they people. Damn you can’t bring the money with you when you go.”
Benzino concluded his Twitter rant by reminding his critics that he’s "never switched up.”

“Falling is apart of life, you fall, you get up, you keep going. I’ll be up again, I’m from the dirt, I’m a hustlers hustler. I got good karma. One thing about me is I never switched up, I’m the same now as I was when I was getting it. I always showed and show love.”

Angela Bassett’s Son Apologized For Pranking Her With Michael B. Jordan’s Death In Viral TikTok Trend
Angela Bassett’s son apologizes for pranking his mother into believing actor Michael B. Jordan passed away.
16-year-old Slater Vance recently participated in a viral TikTok trend. The trend includes videos of kids recording their parent’s reactions to hearing their favorite celebrity has died. Vance uploaded a video of him telling his mother and father Courtney B. Vance, that actor Michael B. Jordan passed away at 35.

Bassett is seen placing her hand over her heart in disbelief repeating, “Uh-huh, uh-huh.” Courtney then chimes in and tell his son “stop it. You’re playing.”
Since then, the video went viral and received a ton of black lash considering Jordan is Bassett’s close friend and costar. The two actors starred in Marvel’s Black Panther films and have already experienced an unexpected death with their costar Chadwick Boseman.

However, that same day, Vance deleted the video and replaced it with an apology instead.

“I apologize to Michael B. Jordan’s entire family, his extended family, and him directly as he is an idol of mine,” Vance said. “Taking part in a trend like this is completely disrespectful. I don’t wish any bad ramifications upon his family nor my parents as they deserve none of the backlash.”

Vance continued, “I own this was a mistake. I hope this can be a teaching lesson to anyone who uses social media as a tool and a source of entertainment to truly understand that your actions can have consequences that extend beyond you.”

Obamas’ Production Company Making a Movie About UFC fighter Angela Hill’s Grandparents
*For starters, Barney and Betty Hill (UFC fighter Angela Hill‘s grandfather and wife) were supposedly abducted by extraterrestrials in mid-September 1961 as they drove in a rural area of New Hampshire. The incident came to be known as “Hill Abduction” and was the first widely publicized supposed abduction.

According to the Hills, they were driving when they saw a flying saucer-type object with humanoid figures inside. The figures were looking at them. The object shot a strange light at their vehicle. The rest as they say is history. They came to their senses two hours later. Not only were they 35 miles away from the spot they had seen the object after those two hours, but they were also unable to remember much of what had happened after the strange light.

Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions is said to be making a Netflix movie based on this notorious incident. The movie is titled “White Mountain.” UFC fighter Angela Hill says she wants to be involved in the project. She posted on social media earlier in the week about her desire to participate.

On being asked if any reps for the former president or anyone else had reached out to her or the family about the project, 37-year-old Angela said, “No, no. I just put it out there because it’s not the first thing I’ve heard.”
The UFC fighter added, “Ever since they released those documents, the UFO documents that they were hiding for so long, ever since that, I think it was about two years ago, I’ve been seeing a lot of Barney and Betty Hill stuff in production.”

“It sucks when you see something being produced and it’s already greenlit, it’s ready to go and you’re like man I really wish my family was part of it because we’ve pretty much been written out of that part of the story.”

“I think it’s one of the parts that make it more interesting,” Hill continued.
As of now, it is not clear whether Obama will really be involved in the movie. As for the people behind the movie, Angela Hill has one piece of advice for them:

“I would say that if you’re gonna do a story about the first black man to be abducted by aliens, get the black side of the family to talk about it.”

Customer Kills Georgia Mechanic After Thinking He Was Stealing Car
A DeKalb auto worker was killed after a customer thought the worker was stealing their car.
The incident occurred at the Tires Plus located in DeKalb County shortly before 1:30 p.m. Officers responded to the call and found an employee of the repair tire shop with multiple gunshot wounds.

Daniel Gordon, 24, was transported to the hospital, where he died.
Detectives say 30-year-old Quadarius McDowell is accused of shooting the victim. DeKalb Police said McDowell had taken his car to the repair shop for service, and at some point, Gordon started to drive McDowell’s car into the parking lot.

“The suspect thought the employee was trying to steal his car and fired multiple shots from a handgun, striking the victim,” DeKalb Police said.

McDowell left the business but officers located and arrested him without incident.
He now faces murder charges and is detained at the DeKalb Jail, the police department said.
