#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Reveals She "Just Started Dating" Someone: “I Am in Love!”

The newly single RHOA alum has been working on the most important relationship of all, amid her divorce.

Newly single The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Cynthia Bailey is finding love in all the right places. Sharing a stunning Instagram selfie on Friday, November 11, she gave an update on her love life — but it had absolutely nothing to do with romance.

In the caption, Cynthia wrote that she “just started dating someone a couple of months ago. MYSELF," adding, "I am in love!" She also added a white heart emoji, along with a "self-love" hashtag.

Naturally, her friends were more than here for the empowering message. RHOA's Kenya Moore, for one, commented, "Ok now," adding a heart eyes emoji, to which Cynthia replied with her own kiss and stuck-out tongue emojis.

Meanwhile, she's also keeping things friendly with her estranged husband Mike Hill. While announcing that they’d decided to go their “separate ways” on October 12, Cynthia and her ex noted in a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight that “no one is to blame” and they “remain good friends.”

When one BravoCon 2022 attendee asked the RHOA alum how she was really feeling during a Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show fan Q&A that aired on October 18, she was visibly moved by the show of concern. “I’ve been doing good this whole time, so don’t make me get emotional,” she replied. “I am doing great. Thank you so much for the wellness check.”

Weeks later, Cynthia shared on the October 31 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast that she and Mike were still “very much” on good terms, though she doesn’t “want to go have sushi with him tonight or anything like that.” Further sharing that she has “good days and bad days,” the RHOA alum said that neither of them regrets their decision to divorce.

As for what she's looking for in the future, she added, "Love is great, but friendship has to be there. I truly want to be with my best friend.”

For now, though, Cynthia seems perfectly content with being her own best friend.

#MusicNews: HEARTBREAKING! Roberta Flack has ALS, now ‘impossible to sing,’ rep says

Via (AP) — A representative for Roberta Flack announced Monday that the Grammy-winning musician has ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and can no longer sing.

The progressive disease “has made it impossible to sing and not easy to speak,” Flack’s manager Suzanne Koga said in a release. “But it will take a lot more than ALS to silence this icon.”

The announcement of the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis diagnosis comes just ahead of the premiere of “Roberta,” a feature-length documentary debuting Thursday at the DOCNYC film festival.

Flack is known for hits like “Killing Me Softly With His Song” and “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face,” the latter of which catapulted her into stardom after Clint Eastwood used it as the soundtrack for a love scene in his 1971 movie “Play Misty for Me.”

The release says that the Grammy-winning singer and pianist, now 85, “plans to stay active in her musical and creative pursuits” through her eponymous foundation and other avenues.

The Antonino D’Ambrosio-directed documentary will be in competition at the festival and available via DOCNYC’s website for a week after, before airing on television Jan. 24 as part of PBS’ “American Masters” series.

Flack also plans to publish a children’s book co-written with Tonya Bolden, “The Green Piano: How Little Me Found Music,” that month. The North Carolina-born, Virginia-raised Flack is the daughter of pianists and classically trained herself — her talent won her a full ride to Howard University at just 15.

“I have long dreamed of telling my story to children about that first green piano that my father got for me from the junkyard in the hope that they would be inspired to reach for their dreams,” Flack was quoted in the release. “I want them to know that dreams can come true with persistence, encouragement from family and friends, and most of all belief in yourself.”

The documentary’s television debut and book’s publication kick off 2023, which also will see the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of her fourth album, “Killing Me Softly,” with a reissue. Her label for the first three decades of her career, Atlantic Records, is also celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Flack had a stroke in 2016 and spoke to The Associated Press a little over two years later about returning to performing. When asked if she’d sing one of her old hits at a then-upcoming event, she quickly retorted: “There’s no such thing as an old hit,” preferring the term “classic” instead.

“I could sing any number of songs that I’ve recorded through the years, easily, I could sing them, but I’m going to pick those songs that move me,” Flack said. “Now that’s hard to do. To be moved, to be moved constantly by your own songs.”

#HipHopNews: 21 Savage Responds to Backlash About His Comments on Nas' Relevancy

21 Savage has responded to fans’ backlash regarding his recent comments on the relevancy of Nas.

Taking to Twitter to briefly address the situation, 21 shut down the notion of him disrespecting a veteran like Nas and all those who came before him. “I would never disrespect [N]as or any legend who paved the way for me,” he tweeted, “y’all be tryna take stuff and run with it[.]” Several users rallied behind him, with some trying to give an explanation of what the I Am > I Was rapper actually meant; fans clarified that 21 most likely understood the term “relevancy” as an artist who often gets played on the radio or in clubs, but there was also users who pointed out Nas’ run of classic albums.

21 made the comments in a recent Clubhouse conversation and it drew flak from several fans. “I don’t feel like he’s relevant. I just feel like he got a loyal fan base. He still makes good music,” he said. When asked about his definition of relevance, the rapper replied, “Mostly connected or appropriate to what’s being done to be considered.”

Both 21 and Nas just released new albums; 21 and Drake‘s Her Loss opened at No. 1 on this week’s Billboard 200, while Nas’ King’s Disease III with Hit-Boy was met with critical and fan acclaim.

Gisele Bundchen Sources React to Joaquim Valente Dating Rumors After Sighting in Costa Rica

Multiple sources close to Gisele Bundchen are speaking out amid the rumors that she’s getting close to jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

Rumors have been swirling that Gisele could be dating Joaquim after they were spotted together in Costa Rica over the weekend. They were seen heading out to eat at Koji in Provincia de Puntarenas. In the photos, you can also see Gisele‘s kids, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, who she shares with ex Tom Brady.

An insider already told TMZ that the two are not dating, but a source close to Tom said they were “not buying it.”

Now, more insiders are speaking out.

“Any suggestion that Gisele’s relationship with Joaquim Valente is anything other than strictly platonic and professional is just ridiculous,” one source told E! News.

The insider pointed out how the pair were joined by a group that included her kids, a teacher, and Joaquin‘s brothers. The source added of the dating rumors, “This is not just completely false—it’s absurd.”

Another source told People, “He and his two brothers are Gisele and the kids’ martial arts teachers. They are not dating.”

“I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire,” the comedian, 72, told Page Six in a statement Monday afternoon. “I am OK. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”

The statement comes shortly after TMZ reported that the former “Tonight Show” host and avid car collector was in the Los Angeles garage where he stores his dozens of prized vehicles on Sunday when one of them burst into flames.

Sources told the outlet that the explosion severely burned the left side of Leno’s face without causing injury to his eye or ear.

Tom Holland Reportedly Inks New Deal For Another 'Spider-Man' Trilogy

Tom Holland isn't done web-slinging. The British actor will likely return as Spider-Man as he has reportedly signed a new deal for another "Spider-Man" trilogy, which will be developed at Sony Pictures in partnership with Disney and Kevin Feige's Marvel Studios.

On "The Hot Mic with Jeff Sneider and John Rocha" podcast, Jeff Sneider said that Holland "closed a deal" for the yet-to-be-titled "Spider-Man 4", the follow-up to "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021). According to Sneider, the British heartthrob's renewed contract includes another "Spider-Man" trilogy and at least three more appearances, but it's not clear whether that means within the MCU or Sony's Spider-Man Universe.

While "No Way Home" became the highest-grossing film of the year in 2021, its follow-up movie is not immediately greenlit. Last year, "Spider-Man" franchise producer Amy Pascal said Sony was planning "the next three" films with Holland and Feige's Marvel, seemingly confirming the studios reached another pact.

"This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel - [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie," Pascal told Fandango while promoting "No Way Home". "We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies."

However, Sony insiders later refuted Pascal's claims, saying there were "no official plans" for "Spider-Man 4" or a second trilogy. Feige, meanwhile, reiterated Pascal's statement as he told The New York Times, "Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about - yes, we're actively beginning to develop where the story heads next, which I only say outright because I don't want fans to go through any separation trauma like what happened after 'Far From Home'. That will not be occurring this time."

Sony and Marvel gave fans a scare in 2019 as they were unable to reach a new agreement for a third solo Spider-Man movie after "Spider-Man: Far From Home". After fans' plea and Holland personally spoke to Disney CEO Bob Iger and Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group chairman Tom Rothman, the two companies returned to negotiations and announced a new agreement that would allow Holland's return for another MCU "Spider-Man" film.

Besides the "Spider-Man" trilogy, Holland appeared in "Captain America: Civil War" (2016) which marks his debut as the web-crawler, "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018) and "Avengers Endgame" (2019).

Emily Ratajkowski In 'Very Early' Stages Of Rumored New Relationship With Pete Davidson Amid Divorce

Emily Ratajkowski in 'Very Early' Stages of Rumored New Relationship With Pete Davidson Amid Divorce

Emily Ratajkowski has moved on with Pete Davidson amid her divorce from husband Sebastian Bear-McClar. If a new report is to be believed, the "Gone Girl" actress is in "verly early" stages of rumored new relationship with the "Saturday Night Live" alum.

"Pete and Emily have been talking for a couple months now," a source told Us Weekly on Monday, November 14. "[They're in the very early stages, but both really like each other... Pete makes Emily laugh and he loves how intelligent she is."

Prior to that, gossip account @deuxmoi shared a screenshot of someone's DM on Instagram that read, "CAN'T BELIEVE I'M SAYING THIS, ANON PLS." It added, "EMRATA AND PETE DAVIDSON ON A DATE IN BROOKLYN TOGETHER. HOLDING HANDS AND ALLLLLLLLL. [Redacted] his hands were allll over her, ad they're clearly hooking up."

Since her split from Sebastian, Emily sparked romance rumors with Brad Pitt. However, in October, she was caught on camera kissing DJ Orazio Rispo during a romantic night out. As for Pete, whose exes include Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale, was last romantically involved with Kim Kardashian.

Back in November 2021, Emily said she could understand why women are into Pete. The catwalk beauty, who worked alongside Pete for a campaign shoot last September, showered the comic with compliments when appearing on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" at that time.

"He's a professional... First of all, you should know that about Pete," the model told host Seth Meyers. "He's got the height. Obviously, women find him very attractive. He seems super charming."

"He's vulnerable. He's lovely. His fingernail polish is awesome. He looks good!" Emily further gushed. She also confessed that she loves "The King of Staten Island" actor's "super great relationship with his mom."

Megan Thee Stallion Gets Restraining Order Against Label Ahead of AMAs

Megan Thee Stallion is making sure her label can’t interfere with her chances of getting an American Music Award.

Megan filed legal docs to get the restraining order against her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, and her distributor 300 Entertainment. According to the docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Megan claims 1501 made “threatening and retaliatory” moves to block Megan from using her own music in connection with the AMAs … which will be handed out this coming Sunday.

Of course, Megan’s been battling 1501 on a bunch of fronts — most notably, they’re in a legal war over her contract. As we’ve reported, Meg believes she’s satisfied the terms and should be a free agent, but 1501 insists she still owes more recordings.

She doesn’t specify what 1501 and/or 300 Entertainment allegedly said or did to mess with the AMA broadcast on ABC — but a judge heard enough to grant the temporary restraining order. Both companies are now blocked from interfering with her music being used on the award show.

Megan is up for Favorite Female Hip Hop Artist, and voting for the award ends tonight. It’s interesting, there is a court hearing scheduled where the label will have a chance to tell their side of the story. Of course, that date is next Tuesday … 2 days after the AMAs will have aired.

Even the lawyers would have to admit … that seems like a huge waste of time.

Michelle Obama Reveals Malia and Sasha Are Sharing a Home in Los Angeles

Michelle Obama has revealed her daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama, are now living together in Los Angeles.

Talking to Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show Monday, the former first lady recalled the time the sisters invited her and former president Barack Obama, 61, to their “spot.”

“We were going to take them to dinner, and they said, ‘Why don’t you come over to our spot for cocktails?’ And we were like, ‘OK let’s see what this is going to be like’. The martinis were a little weak. I don’t think they really knew what it was,” she recounted.

However, it was their rules that had Michelle, 58, laughing as they asked their parents to use a coaster for their drinks.

She said, “I’m like, ‘You never used a coaster in my house.’ So now when it’s your stuff, you want to take care of it?”

The sisters have moved to California because Malia, 24, has been working in television while Sasha, 21, goes to the University of Southern California, where she met boyfriend Clifton Powell Jr., a basketball player-turned-director and son of “Ray” actor Clifton Powell.

Malia, on the other hand, has been linked with record producer Dawit Eklund.

Michelle — who was promoting her new book, “The Light We Carry” which is out Tuesday — admitted her daughters had not been close when they were younger.

“The thing that I love the most is that those two girls are each other’s best friends,” she said.

“There was a period of time when they couldn’t stand each other, and I said, ‘You wait, you are going to wake up one day and you’re going to look over at that other person, and you’re going to know that you two share something very unique,’ especially given what they’ve been through.

Michelle also described that seeing them “in that place where they’re one another’s support systems and they’ve got each other’s backs, it’s the thing that a mother would want.”

Additionally, Michelle noted that despite having multiple initiatives as a first lady, her biggest job was making sure her kids had a decent upbringing. A tactic she learned from Toni Morrison.

“When I first came into the White House, when people asked me what my agenda was going to be, I said what I thought was not a controversial thing was that my first job is being ‘mom-in-chief,”’ she said. “If I couldn’t raise my children, make sure they got through that experience whole, how could I help anyone else?”

She continued, “When times are tough, I try to focus on what I can control. Being a good mother to my girls was my first job, and then I can reach out and help every girl in the world. But my two had to be solid first.”

Morrison had been vocal about her regret of talking to her kids with “a critical eye,” always telling them to fix their hair or straighten their clothes.

“What I have learned and she had learned is that kids are looking for that light,” Michelle said. “You want to greet them with your gladness because that’s what they want most in life.”

Speaking after the interview, Kotb and Bush Hager told Page Six that Obama was originally slated to appear on their show in May 2020 — but it was pushed back over COVID-19.

“She talks about the difficult times and how she’s used the tools in her tool box to lift people up,” Kotb added. “I find it interesting, she seems very confident, but she wrestles with self-esteem, thinking ‘am I seen’, and it reminds us that we’re all connected.”

Bush Hager added, “We were all emotional, really. This book is Mrs. Obama’s toolbox, coming out of the pandemic. We feel that way too, we both can remember feeling left out, feeling not good enough, not pretty enough, we’ve all said that to ourselves in the mirror. We hope to lift people, like Mrs Obama.”

Odell Beckham, Jr. sues Nike for more than $20 million

Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly will seek an NFL contract worth a prorated $20 million for the balance of the season. He wants the full $20 million, and more, from Nike.

Via TMZ.com, Beckham sued Nike for more than $20 million. The problem traces to a decision by Nike to exercise a right of first refusal in 2017, matching an offer Beckham received from Adidas. Then, in 2022, Nike allegedly began to withhold money from Beckham based on alleged technical violations of his agreement via the footwear and gloves he used in games.

Beckham alleges, among other things, that Nike failed to pay more than $2 million that was due in March 2022.

Beckham has issued a statement on Twitter regarding the situation. He says that he’s pursuing the action to “set a precedent” that will protect other athletes from contractual shenanigans.

While the facts remain to be determined, it’s not crazy to think that Nike regrets a deal done at the height of his popularity. Since 2017, Beckham hasn’t had quite the same sizzle that he did early in his career.

So it’s entirely possible that Nike developed remorse, and that Nike decided to aggressively rely on fine print in the contract.

If Beckham’s rights are being violated, he should be taking action. And if other players have their rights violated by their shoe and apparel partners, they should take action, too. The Nikes of the world don’t hesitate to mobilize the lawyers whenever their rights are compromised, in any way. Players shouldn’t hesitate, either.

Democrat Katie Hobbs defeats MAGA favorite Kari Lake in high-stakes race for governor in Arizona

Hobbs defeated a Republican many thought was the strongest of the pro-Trump election deniers running in swing states President Joe Biden carried in 2020.

Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs has defeated Republican Kari Lake in Arizona's race for governor, NBC News projected Monday.

Hobbs' victory is key for Democrats in a presidential battleground state and a rebuke to a prominent election denier — although the closeness of the contest left the result up in the air for nearly a week.

“I am honored to have been selected to serve as the next Governor of Arizona,” Hobbs said in a statement Monday night. “I want to thank the voters for entrusting me with this immense responsibility. It is truly an honor of a lifetime, and I will do everything in my power to make you proud.”

A record number of early ballots were dropped off on Election Day in Maricopa County, officials said, which had to be processed in a more time-intensive manner that includes signature verification. Maricopa, the state's most populous county, said Sunday that it estimated that its count was 94% complete after it received a historic 290,000 of those early ballots on Election Day.

Lake, a MAGA firebrand and former local newscaster who closely linked her campaign to former President Donald Trump and his false claims of a rigged election in Arizona, ultimately fell short after polling in the final weeks of the campaign suggested she was grabbing the lead from Hobbs, who as secretary of state in 2020 vocally defended the state's election system and the accuracy of the count.

About 90 minutes after NBC News called the race for Hobbs, Lake tweeted: "Arizonans know BS when they see it."

Hobbs’ low-key approach during the campaign contrasted sharply with that of Lake, who seemed omnipresent on the trail. Lake’s television charisma boosted her in the race but did not appear to make up for voter concerns about her positions on the 2020 election and abortion rights and how closely she aligned herself with the former president, who saw independent voters in the state abandon the Republican Party during his presidency, allowing Joe Biden to flip the once-ruby-red state.

The stakes were high. Arizona presented perhaps the greatest chance for an election-denying candidate to win a swing-state governor’s race this fall, with the winner having a direct role in the state’s certification of the 2024 presidential vote.

But Arizona was subjected to some of the highest inflation rates anywhere in the country, and voters were also concerned about high numbers of undocumented immigrants crossing into the state from Mexico. In the closing weeks of her campaign, Lake focused on the economy, education and crime rather than her push to change election laws.

Still, election administration took center stage in the final days of the campaign, on Election Day itself and in the days that followed as election officials faced a series of snafus and votes took days to count at a slow pace. Lake and other statewide GOP candidates blasted the process, some suggesting without evidence that nefarious activity was afoot.

At her election night event, Lake said, “We had a big day today, and don’t let those cheaters and crooks make you think anything different,” adding that she predicted victory “within hours.”

“We will declare victory, and we will get to work turning this around,” she said.

Arizona Democrats, who boosted Lake during her primary, had hoped that her refusal to moderate her stances, which include declaring an invasion at the southern border and vowing to enforce new abortion bans after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June, would help Hobbs court independent voters. In Arizona, voters are essentially divided into thirds among Republicans, Democrats and independents.

Hobbs and her allies centered the campaign on abortion rights, putting Republican-endorsed restrictions at the forefront of their message. But they also sought to contrast their plans on inflation and immigration with those of Lake, a political newcomer.

NBC News exit polling bore out Hobbs’ theory of the case, with 58% of Arizona voters feeling either dissatisfied or angry about the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe V. Wade and 80% of those voters casting ballots for Hobbs.

NBC News exit polling also found Hobbs winning the majority of independent voters and 59% of self-described moderates, who made up a plurality of the electorate. More than 70% of voters 29 and under, who made up about 12% of the electorate, backed Hobbs, who also won over a higher percentage of Republican voters than Lake won Democrats.

Battleground Republicans unload on Trump ahead of expected 2024 announcement

At a Trump rally in the state last month, Lake made it clear she was still fully aligned with the former president: “I have some of these know-nothing consultants who say, ‘You know, you really need to back away from President Trump right now.’ And I say to them, ‘Put down Hunter’s [Biden] crack pipe right now.’”

Days earlier, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., urged Arizonans at a forum at Arizona State University not to vote for Lake because of her refusal to accept the election results should she lose, saying that if she lived in Arizona, she would back Hobbs.

Cheney’s PAC put more than $500,000 toward an ad in Arizona that targeted Lake and fellow election denier Mark Finchem, who ran for secretary of state.

Lake at the time issued a statement thanking Cheney, claiming her ad was doing "just the opposite" and leading to more votes.

"You’re welcome, @KariLake," Cheney tweeted Monday night after the election was called for Hobbs.

During the primary, outgoing GOP Gov. Doug Ducey, who drew Trump's ire for certifying Biden's 2020 win, condemned Lake and endorsed her Republican opponent, Karrin Taylor Robson. But Ducey and Lake patched up their relationship after her victory, and the Republican Governors Association, which Ducey chairs, spent millions to boost Lake.

Lake seized on Hobbs’ refusal to debate and centered it in her campaign’s closing weeks. She even disrupted the start of a forum where both candidates were supposed to appear separately last month, asking that Hobbs come out and debate her, before she agreed to leave the audience until it was her turn to speak.

Responding to concerns from allies about her own campaign, Hobbs said last month: “I am out here. I’m fighting.”

NBC News has already projected that Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., and the Democratic nominee for secretary of state, Adrian Fontes, defeated Republicans Blake Masters and state Rep. Mark Finchem, respectively. The battle for attorney general, featuring Democrat Kris Mayes and Trump-backed Republican Abraham Hamadeh, remains too close to call.

About the election denial movement, for which Arizona was in many ways ground zero, Hobbs said in an interview ahead of Election Day that she saw little evidence such conspiracies would recede after the votes were counted.

"I think 2020 was the start of this long campaign," said Hobbs, who pledged to accept the results regardless of who won. "And, depending on the outcome of a lot of these elections, I think it could get worse, because Kari Lake has already said she will only accept the result if she’s the winner. And so I don’t think any of these folks are going to go away quietly if they lose their races."

Rihanna wants Beyoncé to model in Savage X Fenty show

Looks like Beyoncé is even in Rihanna‘s dreams. Riri spoke to E! News’ Justin Sylvester last week (Nov. 7) to answer some questions about her Savage X Fenty show. When asked which star she would love to see showcase her lingerie in a future catwalk, the Fenty designer revealed the name we probably all have at the top of the list.

“If you can have any baddie in the show, no matter the price, and they would say yes, who would you want to put in your panties? I asked it!” exclaimed Sylvester. “Is that a trick question?” remarked the designer with an incredulous look on her face to background laughter. “Who would you want to be in them panties?” retorted the host.

“Beyoncé,” she responded. “I mean, Beyoncé’s got body. Okay?

Yeah. That would just trump everything for me,” the “Needed Me” singer continued.

“Yeah, she got body. Would that set it off?” asked the host. “What do you think?” exclaimed the mother of one with undisguised confusion. “Beyoncé in anybody’s panties is gonna set it off, but I would rather them be mine,” she joked.

If this were a formal offer and she accepts, Bey would join an impressive and quickly growing list of Fenty models, including Cindy Crawford, Gigi Hadid, Johnny Depp and Irina Shayk.

For her most recent 2022 show, which premiered on Prime Video on Nov. 9, the mogul also recruited famous faces like Cara Delevingne, Taraji P. Henson, Joan Smalls and Bella Poarch.

The “What Now” singer has not only been releasing new fashion collections, but has also been dropping new music. “Lift Me Up” was released on October 28, 2022 as the lead single from the soundtrack to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The song was Rihanna’s first solo music output since her 2016 studio album, Anti. An R&B ballad, “Lift Me Up” was written and produced by Ludwig Göransson with additional writing from Ryan Coogler and Nigerian singer Tems.

Commercially, “Lift Me Up” reached No. 1 in Switzerland, No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, top 5 in Australia and the United Kingdom, and the top 10 in various other countries.

The video was directed by Autumn Durald Arkapaw, who was also the cinematographer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It depicts Rihanna on an empty beach interspersed with short scenes from the film. The single marks the singer’s first top-10 entry since 2017’s “Wild Thoughts.”

Ice-T laughs at efforts to cancel him over "SNL" skit with Dave Chappelle

If critics are hoping Ice-T will be the next celebrity to be dragged through the wringer of cancel culture, they will have to wait another day.

On Saturday (Nov. 12), Ice-T joined Dave Chappelle for a “House of the Dragon” and “Chappelle’s Show” crossover skit on “Saturday Night Live.” The comedian served as the evening’s host in what marked his third time helming the show after an election.

The “Half Baked” actor previously hosted the post-election episodes after Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, President Joe Biden’s election in 2020, and this year’s heated midterm cycle.

Ahead of the live taping, Chappelle was the talk of social media as those who were outraged by his Netflix special “The Closer” questioned why he was given hosting duties on the late-night sketch comedy show following a social media-led campaign to cancel him for making inflammatory remarks.

There were even reports that members of the “SNL” writers room boycotted the episode, but the comedic rockstar’s team shut down those rumors. In response to the controversy, Chappelle’s rep shared the following statement: “We’ve seen nothing to support media reports of a writer’s boycott. In fact, the writers delivered over 40 sketches for Dave’s consideration and collaboration. Just as during Dave’s past ‘SNL’ appearances, you won’t want to miss it!”

According to Ice-T, the reignited upset over Chappelle resulted in at least one person suggesting the rapper be canceled for joining forces with the comedy juggernaut for laughs. “Somebody said they’re gonna CANCEL me after doing SNL with Dave Chappelle.. LOL! These MFs have been trying to cancel me for over 30 years!” the gangsta rap icon tweeted.

In response, one of Ice-T’s supporters commented, “People don’t realize you were blasted by Oprah and Tipper Gore, by the State of Arizona and Columbus, Ga. and you’re still here.” Another added, “Ain’t nobody canceling either of you. They better flick off with that talk. We got Ice T and we got Dave Chappelle.”

Andy Dick Faces 90 Days Jail Time & Must Register as Sex Offender After Sexual Battery Conviction

Andy Dick will spend 90 days in jail and register as a sex offender.

The 56-year-old comedian was sentenced after being convicted of sexual battery in court. The conviction stems from when he allegedly groped an Uber driver in 2018.

According to The Blast, he must also attend sessions for Alcoholics Anonymous and mental health counseling. He owes the victim damages.

Andy will serve his jail time in the L.A. County Jail. It appears that his time behind bars will begin on November 17.

His sentencing is only the latest legal trouble that the star has found himself in. The outlet noted that he was also arrested in October after he was accused of theft in Santa Barbara, Calif.

He was arrested but pleaded not guilty in the case. Despite his plea, he was charged with first-degree residential burglary.

This is also not the first time that Andy has spent time in jail for a conviction stemming from a sexual battery case.

Balenciaga To Twitter, ‘Thanks, But No Thanks!’The Fashion Label Flees the Platform

It has been a hectic couple of weeks for Twitter, which Elon Musk acquired for $44 billion. Top executives have been fired, while others resigned. Today, the fashion house Balenciaga has departed from the social media platform. While they have not given a reason, the announcement came following Twitter’s introduction ( and subsequent removal) of paid account verification.

On November 9, the platform launched Twitter Blue, a $7.99/month service allowing anyone and everyone to pay for a verification check mark. Internet trolls quickly began to impersonate companies and send out fake tweets. The company’s stock dropped 2.2 percent due to fake tweets. This, coupled with Musk’s emphasis on free speech, has become a massive concern for companies and brands.

The Paris-based brand declined to comment on the move but confirmed it had removed its page from the platform.

Mariah Carey’s To Deliver ‘Merry Christmas To All!’ Special For CBS

Mariah Carey’s Christmas takeover will continue with Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!, a two-hour primetime special that will air on CBS and Paramount+. The special is planned for Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. ET for the live airing.

Visit streaming.thesource.com for more information

The show will feature Carey performing Christmas songs, including her contemporary hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which was filmed at Madison Square Garden in New York City

As soon as Halloween was wrapped, it instantly became Christmas and Mariah Carey’s season. The pop icon hit TikTok to show the transition from a witch to “All I Want For Christmas,” which has nearly 11 million creations on the platform.

A few days before Halloween, Carey sang the song a cappella before a humorous skit in which she was pursued by characters dressed as ghosts and goblins.

@mariahcarey See you in December! #MerryChristmasToAll  original sound – Mariah Carey

Enter November, and the music plays as she poses atop a reindeer in a snowy paradise, trading in her Halloween costume for a Christmas-themed dress.

The song also serves as the background music for a variety of other works, including several that make light-hearted fun of Mariah Carey and her early Christmas décor.

It starts now and ends on 12/16 at 11:59 pm ET.

As for other rules, though it’s recommended to use Kellog’s pop tarts, it’s not required. Any gingerbread kit will work. If building isn’t in your skills, you can still enter by digitally drawing or hand drawing a representation of your best gingerbread home.

Check out Pop Tart’s site for all of the rules, and good luck!

15,000 Iranian protesters face death following Bloody Friday massacre

Sept. 30 is now referred to as “Bloody Friday,” a day when dozens of Iranian protesters were brutally killed.

On Friday (Nov. 11), thousands of Iranians gathered in protest to mark Bloody Friday. The day signifies Sept. 30 when, according to Amnesty International, at least 66 people were unlawfully killed by security guards. Among the deceased were children hit with live ammunition, metal pellets, and tear gas in Zahedan, the capital of flashpoint Sistan-Baluchestan province.

Online reports claim that the number of people killed overseas on Bloody Friday may be much higher. “Fourty days have passed since the #ZahedanMassacre, also known as Bloody Friday. At least 93 people, 13 of them children, were mercilessly killed during [protests] by Islamic Republic security forces in Iran. Where is @UNICEF for Iranian children?” Dr. Nina Ansary, a director at Cambridge University in England, tweeted last week.

Iran International English, the official English account for the first 24/7 Persian news channel, also shared that the estimated numbers may be higher. “Six weeks after the Bloody Friday when some 100 were killed, and for the seventh consecutive week, the people of Zahedan in southeastern Iran held protest rallies today after their Friday prayers, chanting slogans against Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his predecessor Khomeini,” the news station posted on Twitter last week.

According to Newsweek, following the Bloody Friday massacre, another 15,000 jailed protesters may soon face death. The outlet mentioned that Iranian lawmaker Zoreh Elahian voted in favor of imprisoned protesters being sentenced to death. On Sept. 16, 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was fatally beaten while in custody for “reportedly wearing an improper form of hijab.” Iranian officials deny involvement in her death.

Last month, Javaid Rehman, the UN’s special rapporteur to Iran, spoke with Newsweek about what could be done to dissolve tensions, adding “that repression and brutality is not an answer.” Rehman continued, “They have to address genuine concerns, and an important starting point would be the rights of women in Iran.”

White Texas teacher placed on leave for telling students his race "is the superior one"

As previously reported, last week, music producer and artist Southside shared a video of a concerning debate at his son’s school. In the footage, a white teacher was recorded telling middle school students, “I think my race is the superior one.”

On Friday (Nov. 11), Southside posted several clips of the conversation to his Instagram page. His son, Mello, asked if he could have a hall pass to use the restroom. As the young male requested to be briefly excused from the classroom, the discussion intensified. Although it remains unclear how the topic began, the video was hard for many to watch. “So, you are a racist?” one of the students calmly asked the teacher. “Damn, how many times I gotta say it?” the white man responded as shocked students gasped. The video lasted for several minutes.

Later that day, local news station KVUE 33 confirmed the incident took place at Bohls Middle School in Pflugerville, Texas. The outlet added that the teacher, whose identity was withheld, has been placed on administrative leave. Pflugerville ISD Superintendent Dr. Douglas Killian shared a statement after the video made its rounds online. “We are aware of an inappropriate conversation a teacher at Bohls Middle School had with students this week during an advisory class. This interaction does not align with our core beliefs as a district. The video of the conversation includes statements that we find wholly inappropriate. The teacher has been placed on administrative leave while human resources conducts an investigation,” the statement began.

“Pflugerville ISD and Bohls MS work together to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for our students. The advisory activity was inappropriate, inaccurate and unacceptable. This type of interaction will not be tolerated in PfISD schools,” Killian continued. The superintendent added that counselors were available to speak with any children affected. On social media, Mello praised his parents for teaching him how to respect his elders and keep his cool in tough situations.
