#RHOA: Drew Sidora Reveals How She Feels About Kenya Moore’s Comments About Her Husband Today
When Drew Sidora stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 5, there was much to discuss about Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and one of those hot topics happened to be Ralph Pittman and Drew’s marriage to him.
During Drew’s Clubhouse appearance, Andy Cohen wanted to get her opinion on “Kenya [Moore] kind of going after Ralph at that dinner,” noting that Kenya seemed “protective” of Drew in that moment. “I was grateful,” Drew said. “I felt like, I’m not crazy. Another woman shares my sentiments. We haven’t even talked.” From there, Drew shared how Ralph reacted to that moment, below.
Also on WWHL, Drew responded to a comparison Kenya made when she pointed out similarities between Ralph and Marc Daly, which you can check out in the clip above.
Drew also shed more light on her husband, whom she described as “very layered,” among other traits, during a set of polls in which fans weighed in on all sorts of RHOA-related topics. She also shared an update on their relationship amid their ups and downs, noting, “We’re still in counseling. I’m wearing my wedding ring.”
And finally, Drew revealed where things stand with Ralph’s assistant, who has been a buzzy person for the ladies on RHOA this season. “Ties have been cut,” she noted, before getting into a few more details about it,

#HipHopNews: Migos Drops Out Of Governors Ball Amid Breakup Rumors
Migos is once again fueling breakup rumors after they pulled out of their performance at the Governors Ball this weekend.
Just days before they were scheduled to take the stage, the festival tweeted that Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff will not be performing “due to circumstances out of our control.” Instead, Lil Wayne will replace the group as a headliner on Friday, June 10.
The announcement follows rumors that the trio may be disbanding after Quavo unfollowed Offset on Instagram, while Offset unfollowed both Quavo and Takeoff. Adding to the speculation, Quavo and Takeoff dropped their new collaboration “Hotel Lobby” as a new duo named Unc and Phew.
Despite the rumors, a label rep for Migos claims that the group is not breaking up, telling TMZ that they canceled the Governors Ball because Quavo is filming a movie, and they couldn’t work around his schedule. It was recently reported that Quavo will star in the feature-length action thriller Takeover.
The Atlanta trio is still slated to perform at other festivals this year including Rolling Loud Toronto and Life Is Beautiful.
While at LAX last month, Quavo was asked about Migos’ future as a group, but he remained coy.
Kanye West's Collaborator Vory Says Donda Rapper Is Taking a Year Off: 'He Doesn't Want to Talk'
Kanye West's Donda album collaborator, rapper Vory, says West is taking some time away from music.
Explaining why West, 44, was not attending Vory's Lost Souls album release party, the 24-year-old suggested to Complex the fashion star is taking some time away from music while "battling his own s—."
A representative for West did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
"I was just talking to [Kanye] today. We've been talking through my best friend who's also his assistant, because he hasn't been wanting to talk to anybody," Vory told the outlet.
"He's taking a year off, and he was like, 'Damn, you think Vory is going to be mad at me if I don't go to his release party?' And I was like, 'Nah, you're straight, bro.' "
"He's battling his own s—. That's my dog, I learned a lot from him," Vory added about West.
Vory released his album Lost Souls last Friday and the 17-track project features a track in collaboration with West. The song, titled "Daylight" was produced by West, E. Vax, Ojivolta and 88-Keys.
The rapper was signed to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Records in 2020 and featured on West's Donda album but the collaboration that features on Lost Souls didn't make it to the final cut of Donda.
"I was originally featured on Donda five times," he told Complex. "And [Kanye] was just like, 'Bruh, we damn near got an EP on this thing.' So I guess his team decided that three times was enough."
Vory's comments were published as news broke that West had split with his girlfriend of five months Chaney Jones.
The father of four children with ex Kim Kardashian and Jones reportedly broke it off after a trip to Japan, according to TMZ. It's unclear who initiated the reported split.
Jones, who is a model, has deleted all trace of West from her Instagram account and has left only two snaps of herself behind for followers. The pair have not commented on the split.
The pair were first linked in February and he appeared to confirm the romance by commenting on her post where she congratulated him on his Grammy Award win and accompanied it with an emoji of a black heart.
The model late showed off what appeared to be a tattoo of his new legal name, Ye.
The Walton-Penner group have entered into an agreement to acquire the Denver Broncos
According to the Denver Broncos, they have entered into a purchase and sale agreement with the Walton-Penner group to acquire the Denver Broncos franchise.
According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the sale price for the Denver Broncos came in at a whopping $4,65 billion. This is a record-setting sale that was previously held by the Carolina Panthers who were sold for $2.2 billion back in 2018. Now, four years later, the Denver Broncos were sold for $2+ billion more.
The Walton-Penner group outbid the three other bidding groups that were led by Josh Harris, Jose E. Felciano, and Mat Ishbia. The Walton-Penner group showed how much they wanted the Broncos by upping their bid to $4.65 billion. The original projection for the team was closer to $4 or $4.5 billion.
Rob Walton is the eldest son of Walmart founder Sam Walton and the heir to the Walmart fortune. He served as the Chairman until 2015 when his son-in-law Greg Penner, who partnered with Walton in this sale, took over that role. Now both men will be the owners of the Denver Broncos, pending the NFL owners signing off on this sale, which is expected.
What will greatly help the sale approval here is Walton’s family ties to Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke. His wife is the cousin of Rob Walton, so that family connection between billionaires should help the Walton-Penner group be welcomed into the ownership fraternity with open arms.
Here is what President and CEO of the Denver Broncos Joe Ellis had to say about this historic sale:
“I have enjoyed getting to know Rob Walton, Carrie Walton Penner and Greg Penner throughout this process. Learning more about their background and vision for the Denver Broncos, I am confident that their leadership and support will help this team achieve great things on and off the field.
I sincerely appreciate the cooperation of our football leadership, executive team and staffs at both UCHealth Training Center and Empower Field at Mile High over the last few months and years. We also want to recognize the work of Allen & Company and Proskauer Rose, which have guided us through this process in a timely and efficient manner.
While this purchase and sale agreement is pending approval from the NFL’s finance committee and league ownership, today marks a significant step on the path to an exciting new chapter in Broncos history.”
Ellis is expected to step away from the Broncos after this sale is finalized.
Rob Walton also issued a statement on behalf of the Walton-Penner group where he said that they are thrilled to be moving forward with the purchasing of the Denver Broncos.
“We are thrilled to be selected to move forward with the purchase of the Denver Broncos! Carrie, Greg and I are inspired by the opportunity to steward this great organization in a vibrant community full of opportunity and passionate fans.
“Having lived and worked in Colorado, we’ve always admired the Broncos. Our enthusiasm has only grown as we’ve learned more about the team, staff and Broncos Country over the last few months.
“We are excited to announce that Mellody Hobson, Co-CEO of Ariel Investments, has agreed to join our ownership group. Beyond her role at Ariel, Mellody is an influential leader in corporate and civic organizations across the nation.
“Mellody currently serves as Chair of the Board of Starbucks Corporation and is also a director of JPMorgan Chase. We know she will bring her strategic acumen and leadership perspective to our team.
“Thank you to Joe Ellis and the staff of the Broncos for the first-class manner in which they have conducted this sale process. In addition, we thank Hogan Lovells for their guidance and support in this effort.
“We look forward to earning the confidence and support of the NFL as we take the next step in this process. When the necessary approval procedures are met, our family is excited to share more with Broncos fans, the organization and the community.”
Walton mentions Mellody Hobson will be joining the ownership group as well. She is a business icon, serves as the Chair of the Board of Starbucks Corporation, and is also a director of JPMorgan Chase.
Oh, and her husband is George Lucas - a guy you might have heard about.
The next step here will be the league approving this sale, which is expected. After that? A possible new stadium announcement? Progress toward a long-term extension with Russell Wilson? I would expect Walton to put his first official stamp on the team rather quickly, but what that will be is the big question here.
More information will continue to trickle out once more details of this sale are made known. Once a deal is finalized, a press conference where most, if not all, of these questions, will be asked and we will hopefully have some answers.
In the end, some serious money was spent on our beloved franchise. The Waltons have a history of running a successful business model, putting money into their investments, and continuing to make money for themselves. So, hopefully, this successful business model will continue with the Denver Broncos and help them once again become one of the premiere franchises in the NFL.
Commanders DC Jack Del Rio issues apology for calling Capitol insurrection a 'dust up'
Washington Commanders defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio called the events of Jan. 6, 2021 a “dust up” at team minicamp Wednesday after he was asked about a recent tweet that downplayed what happened on the day the electoral votes from the 2020 presidential election were tabulated.
On Monday, Del Rio tweeted that he wanted to know the “whole story” surrounding the protests against systemic injustice in the summer of 2020 and that he didn’t understand why this week's Congressional hearings examining the events leading up to Jan. 6 were such a big deal.
Hours later, Del Rio released a statement of apology on his Twitter account. He described his choice of "dust up" to represent an attack that saw six die and more than 100 police officers injured as "irresponsible and negligent." He stood by his condemnation of violence in protests following a police officer's murder of George Floyd in 2020.
Commanders head coach Ron Rivera was asked about Del Rio's comments Wednesday as well, and said that "everyone's entitled to their opinion" while refraining from addressing the substance of what Del Rio has said and tweeted.
NFL players react to Jack Del Rio's 'dust up'
Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen said something similar to Rivera when asked Wednesday: “At the end of the day you can have a difference of opinion and still respect one another."
Two former NFL players condemned Del Rio's comments. Former NFL wide receiver Doug Baldwin tweeted that Del Rio was "ignorant," while former Commanders running back and Super Bowl XXVI champion Brian Mitchell called for Rivera to "get his defensive coordinator in check" and called Del Rio a "damn liar" for his rhetoric on a call with 107.7 The Fan.
In his comments, Del Rio equated the damage that was inflicted as part of the riots two summers ago with what happened at the Capitol when supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the building as current President Joe Biden was being lawfully installed. Five Capitol police officers died in the days and weeks after the riot, four by suicide that have not been designated as line-of-duty deaths, and at least four people in the crowd of Trump supporters died as well, including a woman who was shot to death by U.S. Capitol police.
Per Forbes, 19 people died during 14 days of rioting during the summer of 2020. Damages exceeded $1 billion.
“People’s livelihoods are being destroyed, businesses are being burned down, no problem,” Del Rio said Wednesday of property damage that happened during the summer riots. “And then we have a dust-up at the Capitol, nothing burned down — and we’re going to make that a major deal.
“I just kind of think there’s two standards. And if we apply the same standard and we’re going to be reasonable with each other, let’s have a discussion.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs unveils CΓROC Passion
Sean “Diddy” Combs expands his hold on the beverage industry with his new flavor of Ultra-Premium Vodka, CΓROC Passion. The multi-hyphenate has now released over 15 unique flavors in collaboration with CΓROC, cementing his status as a king tastemaker.
The new flavor takes inspiration from Combs’ personal philosophy: do something passionately, or don’t do it at all. The passion expressed is infused into the drink and is Combs’ most ambitious passion project to-date.
CΓROC Passion was born from over two years of diligent experimentation and development between Diddy and Diageo. During this time, the taste was perfected, the bottle design finetuned and the signature cocktail was crafted. Diddy spearheaded each aspect of the process, from leading creative and product design to shaping product packaging and guiding marketing efforts. The beverage will be available across stores for a convenient price of $29.95.
According to Diddy, “CΓROC Passion is the purest and boldest expression of love, so I wanted to develop a new flavor of CΓROC that embodies my spirit and brings consumers into the frequency.” He continued with some advice to fellow leaders. “To be the best, you have to be fearless and follow that fire within you. That’s why we have been leaders in innovation and believe CΓROC will remain the number one brand in the category.”
The entrepreneur also paired some new music with the beverage. Diddy’s new single “GOTTA MOVE ON” with Bryson Tiller will be released alongside it. If the single and collaborator sounds familiar, it’s because Diddy and Tiller teased the single at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. Diddy served as the host and executive producer for the award show.
To pack a final punch, Diddy will debut CΓROC Passion personally during the summer with a sensorial event in his hometown of Harlem, New York.
The beverage borrows inspiration from across the globe. It incorporates distilled French grapes infused with an exotic blend inspired by the tropics. The taste is packed with every sip and comes in a colorful bottle with a distinctive ombre colorway of purple and orange resembling the bright tones of sunset with sleek gold lettering.
CΓROC Passion is best served with soda and lemon. For the signature French Passion cocktail, incorporate 1.5 ounces of CΓROC Passion, 1 ounce of pineapple juice, .75 ounces of hibiscus syrup, .75 ounces of lemon juice, and some sparkling wine for an electrifying touch. For more enjoyment, serve in a coupe glass with a garnish of edible flowers. Add CΓROC Passion, pineapple juice, hibiscus syrup and lemon juice into a shaker. Add ice and shake for about 8 to 10 seconds. Double strain into a coupe glass and enjoy.
Visit www.CIROC.com for additional information on CΓROC, and be sure to drink responsibly.

Parents accuse Ezra Miller of brainwashing, assaulting daughter: 'My family is living a nightmare'
Ezra Miller's legal troubles mount as more disturbing claims are hurled at the 29-year-old The Flash star.
The parents of 18-year-old Tokata Iron Eyes claim in court documents that Miller began grooming their daughter at age 12 and supplied Tokata with alcohol, marijuana and LSD. They are seeking a protective order as Tokata apparently dropped out of school and fled with them to Hawaii, where the actor has been arrested multiple times.
Tokata's parents, activists Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle, filed paperwork on Tuesday laying out why Miller's friendship with Tokata puts their daughter at risk. In the documents obtained by People and TMZ, they allege that Miller displays "cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior." They also claim "Ezra uses violence, intimidation, threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions and drugs to hold sway over a young adolescent Tokata."
According to the documents, Tokata first met Miller, then 23, in 2016 at Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota. Miller "took an immediate and apparently innocent liking" to Tokata. Through an organization that Miller was associated with, the actor offered to pay for Tokata to attend college at Bard College at Simon's Rock in Massachusetts. The Perks of a Wallflower star "would later use this against Tokata to create a sense of indebtedness," the parents allege.
Tokata apparently dropped out of school in December. Chase and Sara traveled to Miller's home in Vermont the following month to find their child without a driver's license, bank cards or keys. They got Tokata home who, after detoxing for three weeks, reunited with Miller. The two ultimately ended up in Hawaii.
On Twitter, Tokata's mom said their "family is living in a nightmare." She accused Miller of physically and emotionally abusing her daughter.
It appears Tokata joined Instagram and has posted six photos in the last few days. On Monday, Tokata issued a statement with the caption "CONTEXT," writing "the tragedy that is the narrative of the general public and the assumptions made on my behalf by my family and friends regarding my stability and otherwise."
Tokata added, "I dropped out of Bard five months ago, my friend and comrade William passed shortly there after, my mind was incredibly impacted and I've needed space and time for the processing of grief. My comrade Ezra Miller for the entirety of the aforementioned era has only provided loving support and invaluable protection throughout this period of loss.
"My father and his allegations hold no weight and are frankly transphobic and based in the notion that I am somehow incapable of coherent thought or opposing opinions to those of my own kindred worrying about my well being. I am now aware of the severity of emotional and psychological manipulation I was made to endure while in my parents home. I am an adult and I deserve to feel authority in my own body... This bout of blatant betrayal and toxicity my parents and others have chosen to punish me with has been desperately embarrassing traumatically life altering. Relationships in my life have been grossly effected, some detrimentally so. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be called out."
Tokata's mom claims on Twitter her daughter doesn't have a phone and doubts who wrote the lengthy statement.
According to TMZ, Tokata previously identified as "non-binary, queer, gay," but at Miller's direction is now "non-binary transgender." The actor is non-binary.
A judge signed the request for a protective order, per People, directing that Miller cannot have contact or harass Tokata, Sara or Chase or come within 100 yards of their residence. However, the actor cannot be served because their location is unknown. A hearing is scheduled for July 12.
In a video posted over the weekend, Tokata is seen with Miller.
‘The Munsters’ Teaser: Rob Zombie’s Dark Remake Comes to Life With New Opening Credits
“House of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil’s Rejects” auteur Rob Zombie is back with decidedly more family-friendly fare, judging by the teaser he released for his feature film remake of the classic sitcom “The Munsters.”
The teaser is a recreation of the sitcom’s opening credits, along with a colorful twist at the end.
The film, which stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa, will be released this fall by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group that develops and produces films for worldwide distribution across all non-theatrical platforms.
Last June, Zombie announced he would be writing and directing the project, telling fans, “Attention Boils and Ghouls! The rumors are true! My next film project will be the one I’ve been chasing for 20 years! THE MUNSTERS! Stay tuned for exciting details as things progress!” In the months since, he has given numerous updates on his Instagram account, including behind-the-scenes photos, as well as location and costume updates.
In a sharp distinction to his previous features, Zombie revealed on Instagram in March that this film will be rated PG.
“For those of you speculating, wondering and assuming that ‘The Munsters’ would be dirty, violent and nasty…well, you are wrong,” he wrote. “It’s all good down on Mockingbird Lane.”
The original “Munsters” sitcom ran from 1964-66, and was a sharp take on suburban life as well as classic monster movies. Although it achieved better ratings than the similarly-themed show “The Addams Family,” which aired concurrently, it was canceled after two seasons when the extremely popular “Batman” series began to clobber it in ratings in the same timeslot.

Rita Ora Is Reportedly Engaged To ‘Thor’ Director Taika Waititi, Wedding To Take Place This Summer
Rita Ora is ready to walk down the aisle after reportedly becoming engaged to her beau, Hollywood film director Taika Waititi, according to a new report. The “Body On Me” singer, who has been dating her significant other since March 2021, shared “simultaneous” wedding proposals with Taika and are now actively planning for their wedding, which sources say will take place this summer.
According to The Sun, Rita and Taika will settle for a “low-key” ceremony before hosting a star-studded celebration soon after, with one insider sharing, “This isn’t about them doing a big showy thing and crowing about it beforehand. It’s just about them being in love and deciding the time is right to formalize their relationship. They couldn’t be happier.”
Back in September, Rita, who has been extremely private about her love life with the filmmaker, briefly touched on their romance in an interview with Australian Vogue, making it known she was “in a great place in my life. That’s all I’m going to say about that.” Before settling down with the father-of-two, who directed a string of movies such as “Thor: Ragnarok,” Rita had dated a string of famous people, including Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris, and Rob Kardashian.
Elsewhere, in April, the “How We Do” vocalist reportedly inked a $6.2 million deal to become the new face of Prada, having shared a close relationship with the Italian brand for several years. Their ties have been so close recently that Rita even wore a Prada dress to the 2021 Met Gala, so it only made sense to scoop her up for an ambassador position, The Sun claimed.
“She’s a global superstar and straddles the worlds of music, film and TV. Rita’s look is iconic,” a source for the news outlet said. Of course, partnering with Prada wouldn’t be the first time that the 31-year-old has fronted a major campaign, as she’s previously worked with the likes of Rimmel and Adidas.
Not to mention, Rita also runs her very own clothing line titled Rora Republic, so she’s clearly not a stranger when it comes to fashion and style.
The doting couple has yet to confirm the news of their engagement, but considering how private they have been about the relationship, it would seem as if neither one of them will want to address the report.
In a recent chat with Harper’s Bazaar Australia, the pop beauty explained how, despite being well-known around the globe, she often forgets just how famous she has become since her rise to stardom back in 2012. “I don’t really think about it as a reality. I don’t bring it home with me. I love to think of myself as a normal person,” Rita gushed. “You have to also realise what you signed up for and pick the places where you’d like to keep them private.”
Simone Biles And Other Larry Nassar Victims Seek $1B From FBI
Former Olympic gymnasts, including gold medalist Simone Biles, are among dozens of assault victims who are looking for more than $1 billion from the FBI for failing to stop sports doctor, Larry Nassar.
“The FBI knew that Larry Nassar was a danger to children when his abuse of me was first reported in September of 2015,” gymnast Maggie Nichols, a Team USA member, and NCAA National Champion, said in a statement. “For 421 days they worked with USA Gymnastics and USOPC to hide this information from the public and allowed Nassar to continue molesting young women and girls. It is time for the FBI to be held accountable.”
The former doctor for USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University, is currently spending the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted of abusing dozens of female athletes under the guise of medical treatment. As it was previously reported, the FBI received reports in 2015 that Nassar abused at multiple gymnasts. However, a Justice Department Inspector General report found that they did not open an investigation at that time. In 2016, Los Angeles FBI agents then began a sexual tourism investigation against Nassar and interviewed several victims. Despite that, the inspector general said the FBI didn’t alert Michigan authorities.
The disgraced doctor wasn’t arrested until fall 2016 during an investigation by Michigan State University police… since he was a doctor at Michigan State. The university agreed to pay $500 million to more than 300 women and girls who were assaulted after also being accused of missing chances over many years to stop Nassar. USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee made a $380 million settlement.
Gymnasts Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, as well as Simone Biles are all part of a group of nearly 90 women bringing claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act against the FBI.
Maroney said in a statement:
“My fellow survivors and I were betrayed by every institution that was supposed to protect us – the US Olympic Committee, USA Gymnastics, the FBI, and now the Department of Justice. I had some hope that they would keep their word and hold the FBI accountable after we poured out our hearts to the US Senate Judiciary Committee and begged for justice. It is clear that the only path to justice and healing is through the legal process.”
According to Fox News, FBI Director Chris Wray has apologized for the FBI’s failures during a Senate hearing:
“I’m especially sorry that there were people at the FBI who had their own chance to stop this monster back in 2015 and failed. And that’s inexcusable,” Wray, who was not director at the time the FBI received its information, said at the time.
Johnny Depp was helped out of His Birmingham hotel……Here’s Why?
Security escorted Johnny Depp out of a hotel Monday to protect him from the hordes of fans who have been following him since his trial ended last week.
Photos of the actor being guided out of the The Grand Hotel Birmingham in England holding a coffee mug went viral this week.
A source tells us his security team was keeping him safe and away from the “large crowds.”
“Everywhere he goes, he’s getting mobbed by fans,” our insider says.
In the snaps, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, 58, looked distressed while being walked out of the luxury hotel with one man holding onto his right arm and another standing closely behind them.
Depp was wearing a black-and-white checkered sport coat atop black jeans and black shoes, which he paired with a scarf, messy hair and aviator-style sunglasses. In his left hand was a ceramic coffee mug, though it’s unclear what — if anything — was in it.
Hours prior to the sighting, the actor had dropped more than $62,000 (£50,000) on a lavish Indian feast fit for a legally victorious king and his posse of about 20.
The celebratory dinner at Varanasi included authentic Indian dishes, endless cocktails and plenty of rosΓ©.
According to The Daily Mail, Depp and his entourage posed for photos with fans before making their way into the trendy eatery.
Among those who partook in the banquet was the “Edward Scissorhands” star’s friend and musical collaborator, Jeff Beck, 77. While in the United Kingdom, the actor has joined the rock guitarist onstage at several of his recent shows.
Since winning his massive defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard — where he was awarded a $10.35 million judgment — Depp has been celebrating having his “life back.”
Just yesterday, he joined TikTok and posted his first video, in which he thanked his fans for their support and emphasized his desire to put the trial behind him.
A spokesperson for the “Aquaman” actress, 36, responded to her ex’s debut TikTok video with a statement to People: “As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward,’ women’s rights are moving backward.”
Heard had accused Depp of domestic violence in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he insisted was false and defamatory.
Snoop Dogg Raises His Personal Weed Roller’s Salary Due To Inflation
Usually, when we read about Snoop Dogg in the news, it’s about him making money, not about him spending it. But we all know Snoop loves marijuana, so if it’s anything Snoop D.O Double G would spend money on is something about his weed habit.
Uber Facts reported that Snoop Dogg pays a person $40-50k a year to roll his joints. Snoop responded by saying he pays them more because of inflation.
This news came in 2019 when the new owner of Death Row Records made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
Stern asked the Mount Westmore Rapper if he really hired a person for that duty, and he replied, “that’s his J-O-B, his occupation,” said The Dog Father. “On his resume, it says, ‘what do you do? I’m a blunt roller,” he said. “P-B-R, professional blunt roller. If you’re great at something I need, I’m hiring you.”
On top of getting $50,000 to roll up, the job comes with a few benefits. The person hired is welcome to smoke the marijuana as long as they roll it. They get to travel on all-expense-paid trips with Snoop on tours and get free items like clothing whenever companies give their products to the artist.
Can you imagine being a weed roller for Snoop Dogg? Comedian Haha Davis did a skit of him smoking with Snoop. In the video, Haha is overwhelmed with Snoop’s weed tolerance. Being Snoop’s personal weed roller may come with a ton of weed, but for more than $50k a year, I doubt that the job would be a hassle.
Trial for Former Minneapolis Police Officers Charged in George Floyd's Death Postponed
The judge overseeing the remaining case of two former Minneapolis police officers charged in George Floyd’s killing ordered Monday that the trial be delayed.
The jury selection process in the trial against Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng was set to begin next week, however, it has since been pushed to January 2023, according to CNN.
Both of the officers have pleaded not guilty after being charged with aiding and abetting second-degree unintentional murder as well as aiding and abetting second degree manslaughter.
On Monday (June 6), Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill ruled that public attention from the plea deal, coupled with the recent federal conviction of all three former officers for violating Floyd’s civil rights earlier this year, fall too closely to the anticipated trial date.
“These two events and the publicity surrounding them are significant in that they could make it difficult for jurors to presume Thao and Kueng innocent of the State charges,” Cahill wrote in a statement.
A request from the defense attorney to change the venue where the ruling will take place has also been denied.
The charges were brought forth after the former officers neglected to step in as their colleague, Derek Chauvin, pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck and back for more than nine minutes on May 25, 2020.
At the time of the arrest, Lane held down Floyd’s legs and torso as Thao maintained control of bystanders.
A jury selection process in the rescheduled case will now begin on Jan. 9 and opening statements are set to begin on Jan. 30.
Chauvin was convicted in spring 2021 and sentenced to over 22 years in prison during a state trial. In December, he pleaded guilty in a federal court stating that he violated Floyd’s civil rights. He will be sentenced from anywhere between 20 and 25 years in prison.
'And Just Like That...' Showrunner Reveals Season 2 Storyline Will Include Samantha's Character
Samantha Jones is returning for season 2 of ‘And Just Like That…’
via People:
While speaking to Variety in an interview published Tuesday, Michael Patrick King — the showrunner of the Sex and the City revival — shared a few details about the HBO Max series’ upcoming season, including the return of Kim Cattrall’s character in the show’s storyline.
Samantha Jones was featured in the first season via text message exchanges with Sarah Jessica Parker‘s character Carrie Bradshaw. Cattrall, 65, has been vocal in the past about not wanting to return to the franchise, and King previously said that the door isn’t open for her return.
However, when he was recently asked if the character of Samantha will reappear in season 2, King responded, “Yes!”
King was hesitant to share much more information about the upcoming season. “It’s all so new right now,” he explained. “One of my big rules is don’t tell things until they’re real.”
He added, “My goal is to bring all the characters into the mix together, so that they’re not so much on separate runways.”
In March, HBO announced And Just Like That… was renewed for a second season. Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are all set to return as their respective characters — Carrie, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York Goldenblatt — as they navigate love, friendship and their careers in New York City.
“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors,” King said in a statement at the time. “The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back.”
Earlier this month, Parker opened up about her rift with Cattrall, acknowledging that “it’s very hard to talk about the situation.”
Chris Rock Rejects Jada’s Call for Reconciliation with Will Smith After Oscar Slap
*Chris Rock is reportedly not interested in joining Jada Pinkett Smith at the red table for reconciliation between him and Will Smith following the infamous Oscars slap.
“He’s not concerned with the Smiths at the moment,” a source recently told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s touring and he’s preparing for a comedy special.”
The source claims Rock is currently focused on his upcoming comedy special and could care less about helping Jada boost the ratings for her Facebook show.
We previously reported that Pinkett Smith broke her silence about her hubby slapping the comedian during a “Red Table Talk” episode last Wednesday.
As reported by EW, the actress called on her husband and Rock to reconcile. “Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years,” Jada said on her show, “and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together.”
The actress addressed the situation in the latest episode as the show focused on alopecia. Rock made a joke about her bald head (from her own alopecia battle) during the live Oscars telecast and this is what prompted Will to assault him.
Jada said, “This is a really important Red Table Talk on alopecia. Considering what I’ve been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories. I’m using this moment to give our alopecia family an opportunity to talk about what it’s like to have this condition and to inform people about what alopecia actually is.”
Jada continued, “Now about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile. The state of the world today, we need them both.”
Immediately after he slapped Chris Rock, Smith apologized and resigned from the Academy. He has also been banned from Academy-related events for the next 10 years.
Fat Joe Inks Deal with Starz, Bringing ‘Fat Joe Show’ to Network
*Fat Joe has inked a deal with STARZ to bring his online show, “The Fat Joe Show,” to the network.
During his visit to Math Hoffa’s “My Expert Opinion” YouTube show, the Bronx rapper explained that Diddy is one of his partners on the show, as reported by Hip Hop DX.
“Eventually, after every Sunday after you watch BMF and Power, you’re going to see The Fat Joe Show on STARZ network,” Fat Joe revealed. “It was a lot of channels trying to get this shit. Puff is my partner, and we chose there because it’s primetime every Sunday, and I can’t tell you no more. I already broke the news. Nobody ever heard that.”
Per the report, Fat Joe joins fellow rapper 50 Cent as the only hip-hop stars with programs on the cable network.
Elsewhere in his conversation with Math Hoffa, Fat Joe admitted that he is not a fan of rapper and snitch Tekashi 6ix9ine.
“This show gonna get me in trouble,” he says. “I’m gonna just be honest with you — this n-gga’s a sucka. He’s a pussy, a sucka, a bitch. I’m dead sober. This dude here. This type of shit this n-gga doing, I’m convinced he wants to die — and I don’t wish it on him or nothing like that — but I’m convinced he’s miserable in his body. He can’t look in the mirror.”
In related news, Fat Joe, real name Joseph Cartagena, is set to share with fans his rags to riches story via a new memoir that will chronicle his rise to fame.
“I’m proud to present my memoir — ‘The Book of Jose.’ This is my life unfiltered, the story of a kid growing up in the South Bronx’s unforgiving streets and how I became a multi-platinum-selling artist,” he said about his forthcoming book on Instagram.
Per Urban Hollywood 411, the book “is the story of Joseph Cartagena, a kid who came of age in the South Bronx during its darkest years of drugs, violence, and abandonment, and how he navigated that traumatizing landscape until he found — through art, friendship, luck, and will — a rocky path to a different life,” publisher Penguin Random House said in a press release.

Mother Of Young Thug Fan Who Threatened to Killed Sheriff Says He’s Mentally Ill
The mother of a young man who demanded that Young Thug be released from jail or else is speaking out and says her son has no ties to the rapper and is mentally challenged.
Quartavius Mender from DeKalb County made several threats in May following the arrest of Thug and his YSL crew. Mender threatened to kill Sheriff Patrick Labat, his wife, and several others in some of the posts if the “Best Friend” rapper was not released immediately. His mother, Malaika Kulenga, and sister, Deniecia Kelly, says the teen has no ties to the rapper.
“Young Thug don’t know him. He don’t know Young Thug. He don’t know nobody. They can’t trace a phone call or a message or nothing with anybody affiliated with YSL,” Kelly said of Mender, who has bipolar disorder. Kulenga agrees, saying her son is not affiliated with any gang.
However, Sheriff Labat is unphased by Mender’s issues. Instead, he is more concerned with the growing number of threats he and other officers receive following Thug’s arrest. He has revealed that his family has also been targeted multiple times. According to Labat, his department gets “four or five” threats daily.
In one of the posts, Mender very boldly wrote, “Imma assassinate the sheriff and his wife if they don’t free thug.”
Mender has been charged with 23 felony counts of making terroristic threats. His mother wants people to know that he is not a danger to society in any way. Instead, he is simply a troubled fan.
Gun Reform Package Wins Over The House; Faces Challenges In Senate
Following a rash of devastating mass shootings, the House has passed a gun reform package that will now face an uphill battle in the Senate.
The Protecting Our Kids Act comprises eight gun-related bills, the most pressing one including increasing the legal age to purchase certain semi-automatic rifles. The Act also includes a ban of large-capacity magazines and increasing regulations on the storage of firearms. The House passed the bill on Wednesday following heart-wrenching testimony from survivors and relatives of mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, which claimed the lives of 19 children and two teachers.
Reps. Anthony Gonzalez, Brian Fitzpatrick, Adam Kinzinger, Chris Jacobs, and Fred Upton, all Republicans, voted in favor of the bill. Kurt Schrader of Oregon and Jared Golden of Maine, both centrist Democrats, were among those that voted against the bill.
Despite the desperate need for gun reform, Republicans in the Senate aren’t likely to support the package. The bill received strong opposition from Republicans, who argued that it would violate citizens’ Second Amendment rights to bear arms. They have also argued that gun reform would not have prevented the tragedies. The AR-15 or similar weapons have been used in many of the shootings and would be harder to obtain under the Protecting Our Kids Act.
A bipartisan group of senators is working together to come to an agreement to satisfy law-abiding gun owners and the general public. However, reaching a consensus is slim, as talks of these kinds have been occurring for years to no avail.
