#RHOA: Marlo Hampton and Kenya Moore Are Allegding Feuding again Ahead Of Season 14
Shortly after longtime enemies Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton finally decided to bury the hatchet and become friends during Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it appears they are back to hating each other.
Marlo – a several-year "friend of" who will be a first-time peach-holder come Season 14 – recently unfollowed Kenya on Instagram, almost immediately confirming to suspicious fans that the move was, indeed, intentional.
"I will unfriend, uncousin, unf--k, unco-worker, unfollow, unfamily a draining soul REAL quick," read a post Hampton shared to her page's Story.
To be fair, Moore tapped that "unfollow" button, too.
After years of turmoil initially stemming from Marlo's tight-knit relationship with Kenya's biggest on- and off-screen rival, NeNe Leakes, Hampton and Moore appeared to let bygones be bygones.
But as fans and viewers of the show have pointed out, their friendship seemed to be rooted in a mutual dislike of another co-star, Porsha Williams, which many feel ultimately set them up to fail.
Though she will not be returning for Season 14 of the Bravo reality series, Porsha was certainly Season 13's topic of conversation.
It all started at Cynthia Bailey's headline-making bachelorette party, where a male stripper named Bolo seemingly did more than what he was paid to do.
Williams never totally copped to allegedly engaging in wild sexcapades with the well-endowed lad, which many thought was an attempt to help cover for her engaged friend, Tanya Sam, who was believed to have participated in the encounter.
Despite visual and auditory evidence that seemed to imply that was the case, Tanya vehemently denied the story and basically never showed her face on the show again.
At the time, Kenya was on a mission to get Porsha to reveal what really happened that night after everyone went to bed, but she wouldn't say. Her lips were also sealed when she was cornered about the subject by Marlo, which seemed to be what Moore and Hampton needed to find common ground.
Williams has since gone on to star in a spin-off show about her family, which is interesting, to say the least, given the way her relationship with her fiancé, Simon Guobadia, began.
RHOA viewers first met Simon last season, when he was married to Porsha's friend, Falynn Guobadia. In April, Falynn announced that she and Simon were ending their marriage.
Not even a month later, Williams shocked the world when she revealed she was not only dating him but that they were also engaged.
Despite the seemingly scandalous timing, Radar was told that Simon had filed for divorce in January because he thought Falynn was cheating on him with "multiple" men, including her assistant-turned-current boyfriend, Jaylan Banks. The two just welcomed their first child together.
Still, many of Williams' former co-stars were not supportive of the situation, which will likely be touched upon during the upcoming Porsha-less season.

Stars Come Out to Pay Tribute To Virgil Abloh at His Memorial Service
A slew of stars gathered together to pay tribute to Virgil Abloh at the Museum Of Contemporary Art in Chicago during his emotional memorial service on Dec. 6.
Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Abloh’s close collaborator and friend Kanye West were reportedly in attendance. According to TMZ, Tyler, the Creator delivered an emotional eulogy and even broke down at one point while honoring the legendary fashion designer. A cellphone recording video sent into the outlet showed the iconic Lauryn Hill struggling to perform her classic “Everything is Everything” as she wiped away tears. Drake, Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky, and Kid Cudi were among the other big-named stars who came to pay their respects to the Off-White founder.
On Nov. 28, social media was shocked by the unexpected passing of the Louis Vuitton creative director. Abloh died following a private battle with a rare cancer called cardiac angiosarcoma which causes tumors to develop in muscles or blood vessels surrounding the heart, according to Cedars-Sinai Hospital. He was 41. Following the shocking news, Kanye West paid tribute to the fashion giant with a heartwarming performance during his Sunday Service series that was live-streamed for fans. The rapper and his choir sang a special rendition of Adele’s “Easy On Me,” a song that appears on her new album “30.”
Abloh’s passion for pushing the boundaries with his cutting-edge designs was felt during the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show that was held at Miami Art Basel on Dec. 4. Tons of stars gathered to see the designer’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection at the Miami Marine Stadium. A giant replica of the fashion titan welcomed attendees as they entered the lavish event. Additionally, a stunning visual performance was also given by the French fashion house to honor Abloh
L.A. Reid Wants to see a Mariah Carey and Beyoncé ‘Verzuz’ Matchup!
L.A. Reid is ready to see two of music’s royalty go round for round in a “Verzuz.”
The record executive has played a role in shaping the careers of some of music’s biggest acts — Babyface, Usher, TLC to name a few — so he is no novice to developing star power. But when it comes to top-charting artists hitting the stage for a battle, or celebration depending on an individual’s perspective, of their most successful and loved records he is clear that two women in particular should be thrown into the ring together: Mariah Carey and Beyoncé.
“My ideal one, you really want this? It’s Mariah Carey versus Beyoncé. Bring that on!” Reid said when asked which two artists would make the “perfect” “Verzuz” matchup.
The hosts of the daytime talk show enthusiastically agreed that both chart-topping women would be among the best showdowns the series has seen. “The [fans] they both have, and the hits they have, the legacies they both have,” continued Reid. “B is the queen, right, sometimes Mariah might be slightly underrated for how long her career has lasted, how many hits she has, and she practically owns Christmas. So I don’t know, I think that would be a good one.”
Fans of the two women are not as sold on the idea. Many argued that Mariah and Beyoncé are on two different levels and that the “Honey” vocalist was simply untouchable given her proven track record that has spanned decades as a solo artist and songwriter.
“I love Bey and she is an icon in this industry. But Mariah is simply the blueprint,” commented a fan. Another chimed in with, “No one can verse Mariah she is at the top. End of story. Living legend.”
“Range, catalogue, vocals, originality, accolades, hits, popularizing musical styles and genres, inspiring the girls etc. nobody is touching Mariah,” wrote another.
Some even said that when it comes to Mariah going up against anyone that if could have only been the late Whitney Houston. “Only person Mariah can go up against is no longer with us. RIP Whitney Houston.”
Mariah’s longevity in the music industry is untouchable, but when it comes to career stats, here is where the women stand: Mariah has five Grammy wins and 34 nominations, Beyoncé has 28 wins (three earned with Destiny’s Child) and 79 nominations making her the most nominated female artist ever; her husband Jay-Z is the most nominated artist of all time with 83. Beyoncé has 10 Billboard No. 1 singles, while Mariah has achieved 19, and the stats go on, and on, and on.
But when it comes to seeing this battle royale come to fruition, fans are far from sold on the idea. “Now L.A. Reid know that Mariah nor Beyoncé would NEVERRRRR agree to do something like that.”
#RIP: Greg Tate, critic and Black Rock Coalition co-founder, passes away
Greg Tate, cultural critic, author and co-founder of the Black Rock Coalition, has died at the age of 63.
Duke University Press, the late author’s publisher, confirmed the news to Rolling Stone on Tuesday (Dec. 7), however, his cause of death was not revealed. “The Black Rock Coalition is shocked, saddened and absolutely devastated with the news that our brother, friend and co-founder Greg Tate made his transition earlier today,” the group said in a statement. “Greg led the wave of Black writers who, without apology, honored the past yet went full speed ahead into the future, giving dap to Black artists across the cultural spectrum who were not getting love within mainstream circles.”
Tate studied film and journalism at Howard University. He, along with guitarist Vernon Reid, producer Konda Mason and singer D.K. Dyson, co-founded the Black Rock Coalition in 1985 to seek equitable treatment for Black artists throughout all genres of music. According to Tate’s manifesto for the organization, the group “opposes those racist and reactionary forces within the American music industry which undermine and purloin our musical legacy and deny Black artists the expressive freedom and economic rewards that our Caucasian counterparts enjoy as a matter of course.”
In 1987, Tate joined The Village Voice, a New York-based newspaper, as a freelancer and shared his opinions on everything from hip hop to jazz. A few years later, he published “Flyboy in the Buttermilk,” a book filled with essays and tales on American music and culture. Throughout his career, Tate contributed to several outlets, including Rolling Stone and The New York Times, and published many books, such as “Midnight Lightning.”
Writer Doreen St. Félix took to Twitter to pay tribute to Tate following the news of his passing. “The first step to it is mimicry and who we are all mimicking is Greg Tate…the greatest…and the kindest, so generous with his time and that brain,” she tweeted

Meet Brittney Johnson, soon to be Broadway’s first Black Glinda in ‘Wicked’
Broadway’s production of “Wicked” has been changed for the better.
Brittney Johnson, current understudy for Glinda, will assume the role of the good witch beginning next year, the long-running musical announced Tuesday. She’ll be the first Black actor to play Glinda full-time in the Broadway show’s 18-year history.
“It’s an honor,” Johnson told People magazine of her recent promotion.
“I only had a few people who I feel like I could look up to when I was starting this journey, and it’s still a little surreal for me when people send me messages and write me letters saying that I am the reason why they feel like they can pursue their dream, that I am the person that they are looking up to. It feels like an awesome responsibility and one that I am grateful for,” she said.
Johnson will make her official debut as Glinda Feb. 14 at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre opposite Alexandra Billings as Madame Morrible, Michael McCormick as the Wizard, Sam Gravitte as Fiyero, Jordan Barrow as Boq, Mili Diaz as Nessarose, Michael X. Martin as Doctor Dillamond and Lindsay Pearce as Elphaba.
In 2019, Johnson made history as the first actor of color to take the Broadway stage as the bubbly, blond enchantress while understudying the coveted part.
“It was like a rock concert,” Johnson told People of her first Broadway performance as Glinda, during which she tried to “remain very calm and steady.”
‘Wicked’ celebrating 10 years on Broadway with special appearances
Johnson previously appeared in Broadway’s “Les Misérables,” “Motown,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” and “Kristin Chenoweth: For the Girls.”
In a video message Tuesday, Chenoweth — who originated the role of Glinda opposite Idina Menzel’s Elphaba on Broadway in 2003 — congratulated Johnson on her groundbreaking achievement.
“I am so proud of you,” Chenoweth said. “You’ll be handling the wand and crown just as I did and probably better. ... Break a leg, and you know I love you, baby.”
On the night of her February debut, Johnson plans to wear a necklace Chenoweth gave her in 2019. The pendant reads, “Toss, toss,” a reference to one of Glinda’s lines in the musical.
“I opened it, and I immediately started crying,” Johnson told People. “I bring it out for special occasions.”
The latest “Wicked” casting update comes a month after director Jon M. Chu revealed that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo had been cast as Glinda and Elphaba, respectively, in his forthcoming film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning production.
As the Los Angeles Times’ Ashley Lee noted last month, the casting of Erivo is significant because white actors have mostly portrayed Elphaba onstage. The only Black woman to play the gravity-defying sorceress in any major theater production is Alexia Khadime, who starred as Elphaba on London’s West End from 2008 to 2010.
“A lot of racism came with that because I was a Black girl playing the role that was predominantly played by a white girl,” Khadime told Marie Claire last year.
“There were definitely people who made comments that I was taking away the white roles. At the time I played Elphaba, Obama was president. Then the comments were, ‘Just because we’ve got a Black president doesn’t mean we have to have a Black Elphaba.’”
Upon receiving the news from “Wicked” producer David Stone that she would be Broadway’s next Glinda in 2022, Johnson said she could barely speak over the phone.
“There was silence because I probably was sitting on the other line just like not breathing!” she told People.
“He was like, ‘Hello? Are you there? Are you excited?’ I was like, ‘Yes, I’m very excited.’ He had to wake me up because I feel like I’m in a dream.”
‘Superfly’ Actor Kaalan “Kr” Walker Set To Face 30 Sexual Assault Accusers
According to a report from Rolling Stone, prosecutors convinced a Los Angeles judge to let more women testify in the sexual assault trial of actor and rapper Kaalan “KR” Walker, who is already on trial for the alleged rape of eleven women.
Judge Joseph Brandolino decided to let four of the five victims that prosecutors said could prove a pattern of illegal sexual deviance by Walker, who is facing six counts of forcible rape, two counts of unlawful intercourse with a minor and other felonies. He has pleaded not guilty.
Deputy District Attorney Yasmin Fardghassemi expounded, “As we look at the totality of this case, over 30 victims, the people are not being unreasonable in their selection of only a few victims as it relates to [prior bad acts] purposes.”
Walker’s attorney argues that this could delay the trial for almost a month, allowing the prosecution to enhance the credibility of their charges, saying, “Mr. Walker was in consensual and voluntary contact with every one of these women. There’s no abduction rape. There’s no forced rape. Purportedly, he is giving them information like, ‘Hey, I could put you in a movie. I could put you in a rap video. I could create a star.’ And that’s what gets them to do things they might not normally want to do. And now that the stardom and glory didn’t come to fruition, they’re lying and saying he assaulted them. We believe that every one of these young ladies is lying.”
Walker’s trial is set to begin January 11, 2022. If convicted as charged, the Superfly actor could face life in prison. TheSource.com will update this story as details develops.

Travis Scott Reportedly Files to Have All 'Astroworld' Civil Lawsuits Dismissed
After hiring high-powered attorney Daniel Petrocelli. Shortly after hiring high-powered attorney Daniel Petrocelli, reports are now noting that Travis Scott and his legal team have filed to have all Astroworld Festival lawsuits dismissed.
According to filed court documents, Travis and his attorney is looking for the dismissal of a claim by “Jessie Garcia” and all civil lawsuits. For the Garcia case, in particular, Travis is noting that the case should be dismissed with prejudice as it solely pertains to himself, Jack Enterprises and Cactus Jack. Issuing a “general denial” for the claims against him, a legal action that serves as a blanket response to all allegations. It is expected that a “general denial” will also be issued for the civil suits against him.
Currently, Travis Scott’s legal actions note that he is not claiming responsibility for any deaths or injuries that occurred at Astroworld Festival and is asking a judge to dismiss all claims against himself and affiliated parties. Maintaining that he is not legally liable, critical failures “including inadequate and poorly trained security, deficient coordination between city officials and festival management, and a nearly hour-long delay in halting the show after the danger became apparent,” together led to the safety issues faced by attendees.
Additionally, a motion was reportedly filed to combine all 275 Astroworld Festival cases into a single “multi-district litigation” case, though no official ruling on the motion has been made just yet.

Google Warns Android Users of Apps Using Their Microphone and Camera to Spy on Them
Millions of Android users are being warned by Google that their apps may be spying on them.
When the microphone or camera is turned on, the new function notifies the user.
It’s extremely similar to a warning that Apple’s competing iPhone already has.
In the most recent Android 12 update, the Google feature was added to phones. You won’t be able to see it unless you have it.
In the top right corner of the screen, a new indicator emerges. When an app tries to access your camera or microphone, you’ll see a camera or microphone symbol.
It keeps apps from secretly listening in or even spying on you using your camera.
You can also check a history of which apps have used your camera, microphone, or location, as well as when they did so.
This data can be found in the new Privacy Dashboard, which can be found in Settings.
In your Quick Settings, you may now completely cut off your microphone and camera throughout your entire phone.
It’s important to understand that seeing a symbol doesn’t necessarily imply there’s someone watching.
Instagram, for example, requires your camera to be on sometimes.
However, if you find that a strange app is using your camera, it could suggest you’re being watched.
Numerous apps with unauthorized access to the camera on Android phones have been discovered by cyber experts.
So make sure you’re on Android 12 and that you’re on the lookout for any suspicious activity.
If you have any suspicions, go to Settings and verify the app’s permissions.
If you’re really concerned, you may simply uninstall the app.
Holly Madison: Life in Playboy Mansion was ‘gross,’ drugs were ‘used for sex’
An ex-Playmate is calling foul play at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion.
“I felt like I was in the cycle of gross things and I didn’t know what to do,” Holly Madison, former Playboy pinup and ex-girlfriend of the late Hefner, says in an explosive new clip for the forthcoming A&E docuseries “Secrets of Playboy.”
In a preview for the 10-hour exploration into the once-heralded Playboy empire — set to debut Jan. 24 — Madison, 41, unveils the mental and emotional anguish she endured as a Playmate from 2001 to 2008 at the hands of Hefner — who died of sepsis in 2017 at age 91.
“I got to a point where I kind of broke under that pressure and being made to feel like I needed to look exactly like everybody else,” says Madison, who starred as one of Hef’s three voluptuous lover girls on E!’s reality series “The Girls Next Door.”
The blond bombshell said that after six months of living alongside a gaggle of equally fair-haired and full-figured vixens, she arbitrarily chopped off her lengthy golden locks as a confidence boost.
But she claims Hef’s reaction to her new look was a total bust.
“I came back with short hair and he flipped out on me,” says Madison of the Playboy powerhouse. “He was screaming at me and said it made me look old, hard and cheap.”
Madison’s claims of Hefner’s outrage are confirmed on the show by his friend Jonathan Baker.
“I remember when she cut her hair,” the mogul’s buddy said. “He was very unhappy about it. Yup, his world.”
“Hef would be pretty abrasive in the way he said things to Holly,” chimes in former Playmate and Madison’s “Girls Next Door” co-star Bridget Marquardt, 48.
“She came down with red lipstick one time and he flipped out, said he hated red lipstick on girls and [told her] that she needed to take it off right away,” adds Marquardt, who says Hefner never erupted when other Playmates donned a crimson lip color.
“It was very frustrating to live with every day,” she continues. “All of the drama that was going on and the tension. I could definitely see that [Madison] was getting depressed and sad and her demeanor was starting to change.”
Madison — who ultimately deemed her affiliation with Playboy a “dangerous choice” — wasn’t the only Playmate to experience Hefner’s sinister side.
“Hef pretended that he wasn’t involved in any hard drug use at the mansion, but that was just a lie,” says Hefner’s ex Sondra Theodore, a Playmate from 1976 to 1981. “Quaaludes down the line were used for sex,” she says, noting the “lovely” sensation the hypnotic sedative induces.
“Usually you just took a half [of a Quaalude]. But if you took two, you’d pass out,” Theodore, 64, reveals. “There was such a seduction, and men knew that they could get girls to do just about anything they wanted if they gave them a Quaalude.”
Hefner’s former secretary and executive assistant corroborated Theodore’s claims of the tycoon’s penchant for drugging women.
“Quaaludes were what we called leg-spreaders. That was the whole point of them,” Lisa Loving Barrett says in the show. “They were a necessary evil, if you will, to the partying.”
Barrett, who worked at the Playboy Mansion from 1977 until 1989, admits to joining Hefner and his executive staffers in securing prescriptions for medications in order to maintain a steady flow of drugs into his lair of lust.
“We would have prescriptions in some of our names,” says Barrett. “There were prescriptions in Sondra’s name, in Hef’s name and in my name and Mary’s name … We kept a desk calendar that would say ‘Lisa’s Q’ or ‘Hef’s Q’ or ‘Sandra’s Q.’ ”
Barrett said the mansion’s wealth of illicit substances “enabled four or sometimes five prescriptions for the same medication to feed the machine.”
The “Secrets of Playboy” show will also unearth the sexual assaults, drug abuse, prostitution, suicide and murder that, for more than six decades, allegedly were sheltered by the glossy façade of Hefner’s empire.
Plumber who found cash stashed in wall of Joel Osteen's church getting $20,000 reward
The plumber who turned in hundreds of envelopes of cash and checks he found in a wall at televangelist Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church is getting $20,000 for his good deed.
The find is believed to be connected to the 2014 theft of about $600,000 from the mega-church, according to the Houston Police Department.
Crime Stoppers of Houston announced Tuesday it would give $20,000 to the plumber, who has only been identified publicly by his first name, Justin.
Lakewood Church had put up the money as part of a $25,000 reward in the case, and then donated it to Crime Stoppers when the statute of limitations expired.
The case had gone unsolved until Justin found about 500 envelopes last month, while fixing a toilet in a public family restroom in the church.
"In 2016, Lakewood Church made a $20,000 charitable donation to Crime Stoppers of Houston to help solve this case and support them for all they do for the community. We are appreciative of the plumber, and we hope he pays the gift forward," the church said in a statement on Tuesday.
Crime Stoppers of Houston CEO Rania Mankarious told CNN the organization does not give rewards for finding stolen property, but the group's executive committee unanimously agreed Justin should have the money from Lakewood Church.
"What we are doing is passing a gift on because he is the rightful holder of that gift, and he's a good Samaritan. He did the right thing," Mankarious said.
Police were called in to investigate on November 10, but news of the discovery did not become public until last Thursday, when Justin called into radio station 100.3 The Bull and told the story.
He called back Monday and shared more details about finding the envelopes.
"They didn't fall out in front of me, but they fell in the wall. Yeah, I could hear the commotion in the wall," Justin told The Morning Bullpen hosts. "I shined my flashlight in there, and you could see statements, some dollar bills, just random stuff in there."
In a statement on Friday, the Houston Police Department said an undisclosed amount of money -- including cash, checks and money orders -- was inventoried, documented and then left with the church.
The stolen money was insured, and a church spokeswoman said the church has resolved the matter with its insurance company.
Mankarious said Justin was very quiet when she called him to let him know he'd be getting the money.
"He said 'I can't thank you enough. I mean these are really hard times and I wanted to do the right thing and I did the right thing, but you know these are tough times for everyone and so this money is going to go a really long way,'" she said.
