Ariana Grande for Allure - October 2021!
Ariana Grande’s coming to take over your makeup drawer.
The “Positions” singer, 28, has been teasing the launch of her R.E.M. Beauty line in recently weeks, and finally unveiled the first offerings from her dreamy cosmetics line for Allure’s October 2021 issue.
“Coveting the secret for the past two years and having testers and samplers in my purse, and people asking me, ‘Oh, I love your highlight, what are you wearing?’ And me being, like, ‘I don’t know’, sweating,’” Grande told the mag. “It was so hard to keep a secret for this long.”

R.E.M. Beauty will release items in drops, beginning with eye products including liner, liquid shadow, glitter, mascara and eyelashes in Ariana-approved cat-eye shapes.

However, Grande also revealed that a tingling lip gloss is coming soon
Though there have been no other details about release date, prices or actual shades, the pop star did say that she was heavily influenced by Nancy Sinatra, Barbarella and other ’60s icons.
As for her famous competitors in the beauty biz — like Kylie Jenner, Halsey, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian — Grande isn’t worried, calling the space “crowded” but noting that there’s room for all to co-exist.
“I’ve thought a lot about this, of course, because I don’t want to just hop onto any bandwagons ever. I think that … I wear my peers’ makeup as well, just like I listen to their music,” she said.
“I’m not going to say, ‘Oh, there’s too many female artists.’ I love and I’m [a] huge fan of my peers that do both, and I think that it’s just another way to tell stories. Because you can never have enough makeup, just like you can never have enough music.”
On stands now!

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis Marries Long-Time Partner In First Same-Sex Marriage Of Sitting Governor!

Wedding bells rang for Colorado’s first family this week in a historic first.

Gov. Jared Polis married his long-time partner Marlon Reis Wednesday at the University of Colorado in Boulder on the 18th anniversary of their first date. The couple’s 7-year-old daughter served as the flower girl, while their 9-year-old son was the ring bearer.

The now-husband and husband tied the knot in a small and intimate ceremony, a traditional Jewish wedding, which marked the first same-sex marriage of a sitting U.S. governor.

“We just thought we would have a small gathering: family, a few close friends, just keep it very intimate, but still have something that was meaningful to us and our nuclear families,” the 46-year-old Democratic governor told Colorado Public Radio.

Polis made history in 2011, when the then-lawmaker became the first gay parent in Congress. In January 2019 he made history again, when he was sworn in as the nation’s first openly gay governor. (The openly bisexual governor of Oregon, Kate Brown, became the first out-and-proud member of the LGBTQ community elected as governor in the U.S. in 2016.)

Same-sex marriages were prohibited in Colorado as recently as 2014. That only changed in July of that year when a state constitutional ban was struck down in state district court. The following year, the U.S. Supreme Court made same-sex unions legal across the country.

“As I was growing up, marriage was not even in the realm of possibility,” Reis said earlier this week. “There was a lot of misinformation out there about what could potentially happen if you came out — what opportunities would you lose? How it would negatively impact you. So for a long time, the idea of getting married, we didn’t talk about it,” he told CPR.

The couple got engaged in December 2019, during a delicate time for the family.

Reis, who’s in his 40s, had been battling COVID-19 for about a week. The proposal came as he was getting ready to go to the hospital after his oxygen saturation levels dropped to a concerning level.

“I was getting my things ready. My daughter was crying in the corner — she didn’t want me to go,” he told The Colorado Sun. “My son was asking me a lot of technical questions: ‘When are you coming back? Do they know exactly what’s wrong?’ It was a very tense moment.”

As Polis assured him that everything was going to be fine, he got down on one knee and asked Reis to marry him.

#MusicNews: Frank Ocean Is Reportedly Shopping A New Album!
Frank Ocean is readying his return. A new report from HITS Daily Double claims that the reclusive singer is in the process of shopping a new album, which is said to be “fu**ing great.”
Ocean has hired seasoned attorney Laurie Soriano of King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano to represent him as he takes meetings and plays music for executives. Since exiting his Def Jam deal following the release of his Endless visual album in 2016, Ocean has avoided doing business with the major labels. It’s unclear who he is meeting with as he plots his long-awaited comeback.

It’s been over five years since Ocean released his last album Blonde. Between 2017 and 2020, he released a series of one-off tracks including “DHL,” “In My Room,” “Dear April,” “Chanel,” “Cayendo,” and “Biking” featuring Tyler, the Creator and JAY-Z.
Ocean, who launched his luxury brand Homer this year, will headline Coachella in 2023. He was originally supposed to headline the 2020 festival alongside Travis Scott and Rage Against the Machine before it was canceled in the wake of the pandemic.

Whitney Houston’s ‘The Bodyguard’ Gets Remake at Warner Bros!
Matthew López, the Tony-nominated playwright of “The Inheritance,” has been hired to write a reimagining of the iconic Whitney Houston film “The Bodyguard” at Warner Bros.
The new movie will be inspired by the 1992 romantic drama, which starred Houston and Kevin Costner. The original grossed more than $400 million at the worldwide box office and has what is considered the bestselling movie soundtrack of all time, with several chart-topping original songs from Houston.

Lawrence Kasdan of Kasdan Pictures, and Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback are producing the new film. Rideback’s Nick Reynolds will executive produce. Kasdan was the writer-producer of the original. Lin has been attached to the property since 2011, which has seen delirious speculation over the potential lead cast for years. Combos from Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson to Channing Tatum and Cardi B have been floated. No cast has been set for López’s script at this stage.

López is repped by CAA, Grandview, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman. “The Inheritance” premiered at London’s Young Vic in 2018, where it was hailed as “the most important American play of the century.” It transferred to the West End later that year, and opened on Broadway in the fall of 2019.

The show has received the Olivier Award, Drama Desk Award, Evening Standard Theatre Award, London Critics’ Circle Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama League Award, GLAAD Media Award, WhatsOnStage Award and the South Bank Sky Arts Award. López is the first American Latine writer to win any of these awards for best play.

López’s Off Broadway work includes “The Whipping Man” and “The Legend of Georgia McBride.” Other works include “Somewhere” and “Reverberation” (Hartford Stage), “The Sentinels” (Headlong Theatre, London) and “Zoey’s Perfect Wedding” (Denver Center). López is currently co-writing the musical adaptation of the classic film “Some Like It Hot.”

In October 2020, he signed an overall television development deal with Amazon Studios. He is also scripting a feature film adaptation of the novel “Leading Men,” which centers on the “A Streetcar Named Desire” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” scribe Tennessee Williams and his longtime partner Frank Merlo. Luca Guadagnino and Peter Spears are producing that project for Searchlight.

Beyoncé Is Rocking A Mint Balmain Mini Dress While on vacation!
Beyoncé took a moment yesterday to break up all the Met Gala content on everyone's Instagram feeds to share her own yacht photos. This time, she appears in three grid posts wearing a fantastic mint Balmain dress. What else would you wear on a yacht if you're Bey, celebrating your 40th birthday month? Beyoncé kindly let her husband Jay-Z appear with her in one shot:
Beyoncé spoke to Harper's Bazaar for its September issue about her hopes for her new decade. “I’ve done so much in 40 years that I just want to enjoy my life,” she said. “It’s hard going against the grain, but being a small part of some of the overdue shifts happening in the world feels very rewarding. I want to continue to work to dismantle systemic imbalances. I want to continue to turn these industries upside down. I plan to create businesses outside of music. I have learned that I have to keep on dreaming. One of my favorite quotes is from the inventor Charles Kettering. It goes ‘Our imagination is the only limit to what we can hope to have in the future.’”
“I want to show that you can have fun and have purpose, be respectful and speak your mind,” she added. “You can be both elegant and a provocateur. You can be curvy and still be a fashion icon. I wish this freedom for every person. I have paid my dues and followed every rule for decades, so now I can break the rules that need to be broken. My wish for the future is to continue to do everything everyone thinks I can’t do.”

Funeral services for actor Michael K. Williams was held in Harrisburg Pennsylvania!
Over a week after his death, Michael K. Williams has been laid to rest. Hundreds gathered on Wednesday, including family, friends and celebrities, to pay their respects to the legendary actor — who died on Sep. 6 — in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where his mother has lived for over two decades, reports local outlet The Patriot-News.
"He came to Harrisburg as often as he could," said Johnathan Branam, the funeral home manager for Hooper Memorial Home, which handled Williams' services, according to the outlet. "He loved his mama. Harrisburg embraced him as an adopted son."

Williams, a five-time Emmy Award nominee, was found dead in his Brooklyn penthouse apartment, a source from the NYPD said. He was 54.
"It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams," a rep for Williams told media at the time. "They ask for your privacy while grieving this unsurmountable loss."
Wednesday's services took place at St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral and were streamed on Facebook. Several stars were in attendance, including Queen Latifah, the co-creator of The Wire David Simon and Williams' The Wire costars, Felicia Pearson (Snoop), Andre Royo (Bubbles) and Jamie Hector (Marlo).
Williams portrayed Omar Little in the hit HBO series. The role has been lauded over the years for its complex depiction of a gay Black man with a reputation as a ruthless criminal in the streets of Baltimore.

Although his cause of death has not yet been determined, drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment, the New York Post reported. A separate law enforcement source told PEOPLE that Williams died of a suspected overdose and that officials believe he may have used heroin laced with fentanyl.
Williams had been open about his struggles with drug abuse in the past. Raised in the Vanderveer Projects of Brooklyn's East Flatbush neighborhood, he was exposed to crime at an early age and developed a drug addiction in his teens.
He told The New York Times in 2017 that although he'd had treatment for his addiction, he'd relapsed multiple times during his storied career. "Addiction doesn't go away," he said. "It's an everyday struggle for me, but I'm fighting."

3rd-Degree Murder Conviction Overturned In Mohamed Noor Case!
TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minnesota Supreme Court Wednesday overturned the third-degree murder conviction for former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor.
In 2019, Noor was found guilty of second-degree manslaughter and third-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Justine Ruszczyk Damond in Minneapolis.

Noor is currently serving a 12.5-year prison sentence for the murder conviction. He will be released from prison Wednesday, according to KARE 11 reporter Lou Raguse.
Noor will have to be re-sentenced based on the second-degree manslaughter conviction that remains upheld.
The ruling found that a 3rd-degree murder charge did not apply in Noor's case. Here is the state's definition for third-degree murder:

609.195 MURDER IN THE THIRD DEGREE.
(a) Whoever, without intent to effect the death of any person, causes the death of another by perpetrating an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved mind, without regard for human life, is guilty of murder in the third degree and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than 25 years.
(b) Whoever, without intent to cause death, proximately causes the death of a human being by, directly or indirectly, unlawfully selling, giving away, bartering, delivering, exchanging, distributing, or administering a controlled substance classified in Schedule I or II, is guilty of murder in the third degree and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than 25 years or to payment of a fine of not more than $40,000, or both.
Read the court's opinion below:
"We are disappointed that the Minnesota Supreme Court chose to reverse the third-degree murder conviction of Mohamed Noor," Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said in a statement Tuesday.

"The court overruled prior case law supporting the Hennepin County Attorney's Office charging decision and we disagree with their analysis of the law. However, we respect and acknowledge that the Minnesota Supreme Court is the final arbiter in this matter. Accordingly, we must and do accept this result. The court's decision leaves intact the Manslaughter II guilty verdict by the jury against Mohamed Noor. Further, the Supreme Court notes in its opinion that Mohammed Noor has conceded that the evidence at trial was sufficient to support his conviction of second-degree manslaughter. His conviction was just. The case has been remanded to the trial court for sentencing and we will seek the maximum sentence possible."

Damond was killed on the night of July 15, 2017, minutes after she made a 911 call to report a disturbance behind her Minneapolis home. She lived on Washburn Avenue South with her fiancé, Don Damond, 50, whom she had planned to marry in August 2017, one month after the shooting occurred.

Transcripts released by the city of Minneapolis show how Damond spent her final moments attempting to help a stranger she believed was possibly being raped.
"Hi, I'm, I can hear someone out the back and I, I'm not sure if she's having sex or being raped," she told a police dispatch at 11:27 p.m. on July 15, 2017. "It sounds like sex noises, but it's been going on for a while and I think she tried to say help and it sounds distressed."
A second transcript shows Damond calling 911 back to confirm police were on their way.

Officers Matthew Harrity and his partner Noor responded to the call.
Harrity drove their squad car into the alley on 50th Street. He turned off the headlights and dimmed the computer screen as they drove down the alley, but used his spotlight to look for people on the driver's side of the car, according to the criminal complaint.

The officers did not encounter anyone while driving through the alley. Noor entered "Code 4" into the squad computer, which communicates to dispatch they were safe and needed no assistance.
Five to ten seconds later, Harrity heard a voice as well as "a thump" somewhere behind him on the squad car, and caught a glimpse of a person's head and shoulders outside his window. He could not see whether the person was a man or woman.

He said he perceived his life was in danger, reached for his gun, unholstered it, and held it to his ribcage while pointing it downward. He said that from the driver's seat he had a better vantage point to determine a threat than Noor would have had from the passenger seat.
Harrity then heard a sound that sounded like a "light bulb dropping on the floor" and saw a flash. After first checking to see if he had been shot, he looked to his right and saw Noor with his right arm extended in the direction of Harrity, according to the criminal complaint.

Outside the squad car, Damond put her hands on a gunshot wound and said either "I'm dying" or "I'm dead," the complaint states. She died at the scene.

Met Gala Chef Defends Menu After Keke Palmer's Negative Food Review!
The man behind the Met Gala food is speaking out after Keke Palmer put one of the night’s dishes on blast on social media.

via Page Six: Marcus Samuelsson, a Swedish-Ethiopian chef who won Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” in 2010, told TMZon Wednesday that Palmer’s plate was not an accurate depiction because it was barely topped with roasted mushrooms, tomato salad with corn and zucchini slices.
He also told the outlet that they served a 3-course meal, and added that he believes the gala’s food tasted “plenty good.”
A rep for Vogue exclusively told Page Six on Tuesday that they were “so thrilled and grateful to have worked with” Samuelsson, 49, despite some of the negative feedback online.

The spokesperson further explained the backstory behind the dishes they served, telling us, “The plant-based menu featured recipes from 10 emerging New York-based chefs to celebrate the return of the city’s restaurant industry, which was devastated by the pandemic.”

Samuelsson told TMZ the feedback he got after the party was “incredible.”
However, none of that likely came from Palmer, 28, who begged to differ.
The “Hustlers” star, who hosted Vogue’s livestream on the red carpet on Monday night, posted a photo on her Instagram Story of the catering and captioned it, “This is why they don’t show y’all the food. I’m just playinnnn.”

She then doubled down on Twitter, writing, “The menu Chile.”
Palmer’s post drew comparisons to the infamous cheese sandwich handed out at the 2017 Fyre Festival.
The hefty price tag attached to Anna Wintour’s prestigious fundraiser also added to the shock value over the food.

Sources previously told Page Six that event-goers have to pay $30,000 to $50,000 per ticket (tables can range between $275,000 to $500,000) — although the costs are usually covered by fashion brands who invite celebrities and models as their guests.

Nicki Minaj says the White House invited her to discuss COVID vaccine after viral tweets!
Nicki Minaj said she has been invited to the White House after her tweets about the COVID-19 vaccine and its alleged side effects went viral.
On Wednesday (Sept. 15), the “Moment 4 Life” emcee took to Twitter to share a clip of Fox News host Tucker Carlson speaking about the backlash she received after telling people to pray and make their own decision on whether or not they want to take the vaccine. After a fan tweeted that Nicki should be invited to the United Nations to speak at the General Assembly, she responded by saying that she was requested to visit the nation’s capital.

Trinidad & Tobago health minister shuts down Nicki Minaj’s swollen testicle claim
“The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction,” Nicki responded. “Yes, I’m going. I’ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human. #BallGate day 3.”

Earlier this week, the Queen rapper revealed that she was not vaccinated while discussing why she would miss the Met Gala. She said that she was researching the shot and would get the vaccine once she collected enough information about it.

Nicki then explained how her cousin’s friend allegedly had issues with his genitalia after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine shot. “His testicles became swollen,” she tweeted. “His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So, just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”
Several health leaders have debunked the Young Money emcee’s claims, including Terrence Deyalsingh, the Minister of Health for Trinidad & Tobago. He said that his office wasted valuable time following up on Nicki’s comments. “We had to check and make sure that what she was claiming was either true or false,” Deyalsingh said. “Unfortunately, we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim. As far as we know at this point in time, there has been no such reported either side effect or adverse event.”

Tyra Banks Defends Olivia Jade Being Cast on 'Dancing with the Stars'!
Tyra Banks is sticking up for Olivia Jade. Ahead of the premiere for the new season of Dancing with the Stars, the 47-year-old host defended the 21-year-old daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli being cast on the ABC competition series.
“I think Olivia is so brave. I think people don’t know her, they know what happened to her,” Tyra shared with Entertainment Tonight. “She has said that she did not know about what was going on and it’s really sad, and it’s very hurtful when something publicly happens but you had nothing to do with it. So I trust that she says she didn’t know.”

Lori and Mossimo both went to jail due to their involvement in the college admissions scandal where they paid $500,000 in brides to get Olivia and sister Isabella in to the University of Southern California as recruits for the crew team, even though neither of then participated in the sport.

“She is having to deal with that and I think she’s coming to Dancing With the Stars to be able to tell her story and show her vulnerability,” Tyra continued. “And is she a celebrity? Not traditionally, but what is a celebrity today? If that’s the case then there’s no Instagram influencer that is a celebrity. We are in a whole different world and celebrity has taken a turn and a change.”
Tyra added, “If people are talking about you, you’re famous. And you can be on Dancing With the Stars.”

The new season of Dancing with the Stars will premiere on Monday, September 20th on ABC. Find out who else is competing this season!

Gabrielle Union Says ‘My Soul Was Shattered’ After Learning Dwyane Wade Had A Baby With Another Woman!
Gabrielle Union is getting raw in her new book!
In her new book, ‘You Got Anything Stronger,’ the 48-year-old actress is opening up about her infertility, while sharing how she felt when her now husband, Dwyane Wade, got another woman pregnant.

In her book, Union elaborates on her struggle to conceive and that she and Wade were not in a good place. She says that while she was going through IVF treatments, she learned that her then-boyfriend, Wade, got another woman pregnant. In the book she says,
“The experience of Dwayne having a baby so easily, while I was unable to, left my soul not just broken into pieces but shattered into fine dust scattering in the wind. To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience. There are people – strangers that I will never meet, who have been upset that I have not previously talked about that trauma. I have not had words, and even after untol amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now.”

The couple began dating in 2008, which at the time, Wade had two children, Zaire, 18, and Zaya, 12, and he was the legal guardian of his nephew, Dehveon, 18.
In his 2020 documentary, he explained that he and Union were on a break when he conceived, Xavier, 7, with ‘longtime friend’ Aja Metoyer. He also spoke on how hard it was to tell Union about the unborn child. He said,

“Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do is man up and tell Gabrielle Union that I’ve had a child with someone else.”
Although the couple wanted to move forward, Gabrielle Union admits ‘there was no way to disguise’ where the pieces had been ‘glued back together.’ She added,

“So much of what made the decision so difficult was that if I didn’t submit to surrogacy, then I was convienced I needed to let Dwyane go.”
Over the years, Union has grown close to Wade’s children, including Zaya, who came out as a transgender girl in 2020.

The couple, who married in 2014, went on to welcome their daughter Kaavia, via surrogacy in 2018.
What are your thoughts about Gabrielle’s experience?

Twins Sequel Triplets Will See Tracy Morgan Starring Alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger And Danny DeVito!
Having spent years plodding through the wilderness of development, speculation and limbo, it looks like the long-rumoured sequel to Arnold Schwarzenegger/Danny DeVito comedy Twins is finally going ahead. With Ivan Reitman returning to direct Triplets, Tracy Morgan is aboard to co-star.

What's the premise? Fairly self-explanatory, but here's the update on Dylan Dawson and Lucas Kavner's script from Reitman himself: "Secretly, there was a third baby born, a Black baby, who hasn’t been in touch with his siblings. They don’t know each other and very early in the movie they meet and it’s how they achieve a bond together after all these years. It’s really a film about family and, no matter how different we all are, we have to learn to get along. These guys have great chemistry together, and you can see that in the reel, and how much energy they bring out in each other."

According to the director, who has been shepherding this sequel for decades after the 1988 original was a hit, it was originally intended to co-star Eddie Murphy, but he's been too busy of late. "Twins was quite successful, and some years after, this whole thing started with Arnold meeting Eddie Murphy, and the suggestion came from one of them," Reitman tells Deadline. "It was, 'I should be a triplet, that could be a very funny comedy.' We started a script with Eddie, and after the success he had with Amazon Prime on Coming 2 America, he got himself booked up heavily. And we knew we were going to make it at the beginning of next year. I’d been good friends with Tracy Morgan for a long time and always thought he was one of the funniest men in the world. I thought he would make a terrific triplet, and we rewrote the whole script for him. Now, we’ll go out and try and put the money together and get it made."

The plan, according to Reitman, is to go the indie route and put it up for sale at the Toronto Film festival market with a sizzle reel of the actors to attract buyers. If all goes to plan, the cameras will roll in Boston in January. We can't imagine this'll sit around for long – Universal distributed the original movie, but in this day and age, it feels like a project for a streaming service to snatch up...

Wendy Williams tests positive for ‘breakthrough case of COVID-19’
Wendy Williams is further delaying her show return after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
The Instagram account of “The Wendy Williams Show” announced Wednesday that the daytime host, 57, is battling a “breakthrough case of COVID-19.”
“While continuing her health evaluations, Wendy has tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19,” the statement began.

“To allow Wendy time to quarantine and fully recover and to ensure that our production abides by all SAG/AFTRA and DGA Covid protocols, we expect to begin the 13th season of ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ on Monday, October 4th.”
The show will air repeats in the interim.
The announcement comes after Williams had to bow out of promotional activities because of “ongoing health issues” that required “further evaluations.”

After news of Williams’ health issues broke, a source told Page Six exclusively that she likely wouldn’t make it to her show’s premiere.
“People are tight-lipped about it, but there are whispers that she won’t be there,” the source shared.

In a conversation with Dr. Oz in March, Williams expressed hesitancy about getting the COVID-19 jab.
“No. I don’t trust it,” she said. “I’ve never gotten the flu shot either, though, and you and I have talked about that. Several of the doctors on my team have told me, ‘Wendy, get the flu shot.’ I’ve never had the flu. I’m not getting a flu shot. I very rarely get a cold. I never have headaches. I don’t take aspirin because I feel my heart murmur or something like that. I’m not getting it — no! I don’t trust it. There, I said it.”
In May, however, Williams announced that her live studio audience would be able to return on June 1 only if they were fully vaccinated.

A source confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday that Williams has received the COVID-19 vaccine since publicly airing her skepticism.

Philadelphia Paying Black Mother $2M After Police Beat Her In Front Of Child!
The city of Philadelphia is going to pay a Black mother $2 million after officers broke into her vehicle and assaulted her in front of her child.
Last fall, during protests over the police-slain Walter Wallace Jr., 29-year-old Rickia Young was on her way home.
The mother was attacked and arrested on the first night of the protests in Philadelphia. One of Ms. Young’s lawyers, Kevin Mincey, said it was a little after midnight on Tuesday when Rickia Young, a 28-year-old home health aide, used her sister’s car to drive across town to West Philadelphia to pick up her teenage daughter nephew from a friend’s house.

She then placed her 2-year-old son in the back seat and went on her journey. On her way back home, she got blocked off by police and protesters. The woman tried to turn around after being instructed by police, but when they were seemingly tired of waiting, they broke into her car, shattered her windows, and threw Young and her 16-year-old nephew out of the car.
Afterward, officers took now-deleted photos with her toddler.
During a Tuesday press conference, Young said it was a night she’ll never forget. “I will never forget what those officers did to us that night,” said Young. “I hope that the officers responsible will never have the chance to do something like this to another person ever again.”

Fourteen officers involved are now awaiting disciplinary hearings as a result of internal affairs findings in an investigation into the incident.

“I don’t know where the rumor came from,” Chlöe said during an Instagram Live session. “Someone asked if me and Future talk? He’s a wonderful fella, I love his music. I’ve never spoken to him a day in my life.”

Later during the live, Chlöe addressed another ridiculous rumor that she was involved in the Illuminati following her veiled performance at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.

As expected, Fat Joseph stepped on his social media soapbox to apologize with an apology as sorry as his unnecessary comments. “Shout out to the ladies very sorry if i disrespected i love vida and lil Moe I’m super sorry love my sisters,” he wrote. Womp womp. It was so easy for Joseph to uplift Ashanti and Remy Ma — two Black women who were crucial elements of his biggest songs; but didn’t hesitate to degrade and violate two Black women who he didn’t deem worthy because of their appearance and bank accounts. Chile please.

Aside from the trout mouth Terror Squad rapper getting himself cancelled on his biggest night, there were a bunch of other notable moments that deserve shine.
Ashanti may have faced off against Keyshia Cole in a Verzuz battle earlier this year, but sis is the real winner of the battle. Fat Joe brought out Remy Ma who also looked TF good. And there was a random, but enjoyable, appearance by Nelly that led to another viral Internet moment (we’ll get there).

Here’s the Verzuz moments everyone is still talking about:
Remy Ma came through looking snatched in a fierce bob and yellow two-piece crop bubble and shorts. Dubbing herself “The Godmother,” she gave fans a tease of new music during the Verzuz event while showing off her breath control during her iconic verses on Lean Back and Ante Up.

Fat Joe surprisingly brought out Nelly to perform their song Get It Poppin’, which automatically led fans to question if he and Ashanti crossed paths. The two dated for years but mysteriously broke up in 2013. Nelly appeared on stage right before Ashanti hit the MSG hardwood to give her boy Ja the ultimate assist.Nelly tip-toed over to Ashanti to steal a hug after being amped up by his boys backstage.

Verzuz ended with Fat Joe and Ja Rule exchanging love for one another, hip-hop and the culture. That’s cool, but Fat Joseph has some explaining to do!
