Israel’ Has Ended Netanyahu’s Long Rule of Power electing Naftali Bennett as Prime Minister!
JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s parliament approved a new coalition government on Sunday that sent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into the opposition after a record 12 years in office and a political crisis that sparked four elections in two years.
Naftali Bennett, the head of a small ultranationalist party, was sworn in as prime minister after a narrow 60-59 vote in parliament. But if he wants to keep the job, he will have to maintain an unwieldy coalition of parties from the political right, left and center.
The eight parties, including a small Arab faction that is making history by sitting in the ruling coalition, are united in their opposition to Netanyahu and new elections but agree on little else. They are likely to pursue a modest agenda that seeks to reduce tensions with the Palestinians and maintain good relations with the U.S. without launching any major initiatives.
Netanyahu sat silently during the vote. After it was approved, he stood up to leave the chamber, before turning around and shaking Bennett’s hand. A dejected Netanyahu, wearing a black medical mask, briefly sat in the opposition leader’s chair before walking out.
Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption, remains the head of the largest party in parliament and is expected to vigorously oppose the new government. If just one faction bolts, it could lose its majority and would be at risk of collapse, giving him an opening to return to power.
The country’s deep divisions were on vivid display as Bennett addressed parliament ahead of the vote. He was repeatedly interrupted and loudly heckled by supporters of Netanyahu, several of whom were escorted out of the chamber.
Bennett’s speech mostly dwelled on domestic issues, but he expressed opposition to U.S. efforts to revive Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers.
“Israel will not allow Iran to arm itself with nuclear weapons,” Bennett said, vowing to maintain Netanyahu’s confrontational policy. “Israel will not be a party to the agreement and will continue to preserve full freedom of action.”
Bennett nevertheless thanked President Joe Biden and the U.S. for its decades of support for Israel.
Netanyahu, speaking after him, vowed to return to power. He predicted the incoming government would be weak on Iran and give in to U.S. demands to make concessions to the Palestinians.
“If it is destined for us to be in the opposition, we will do it with our backs straight until we topple this dangerous government and return to lead the country in our way,” he said.
Yohanan Plesner, president of the Israel Democracy Institute, a nonpartisan think tank, said the new government will likely be more stable than it appears.
“Even though it has a very narrow majority, it will be very difficult to topple and replace because the opposition is not cohesive,” he said. Each party in the coalition will want to prove that it can deliver, and for that they need “time and achievements.”
Still, Netanyahu “will continue to cast a shadow,” Plesner said. He expects the incoming opposition leader to exploit events and propose legislation that right-wing coalition members would like to support but can’t — all in order to embarrass and undermine them.
The new government is meanwhile promising a return to normalcy after a tumultuous two years that saw four elections, an 11-day Gaza war last month and a coronavirus outbreak that devastated the economy before it was largely brought under control by a successful vaccination campaign.
The driving force behind the coalition is Yair Lapid, a political centrist who will become prime minister in two years, if the government lasts that long.
He called off a planned speech to parliament, instead saying he was ashamed that his 86-year-old mother had to witness the raucous behavior of his opponents. In a brief speech, he asked for “forgiveness from my mother.”
“I wanted her to be proud of the democratic process in Israel. Instead she, along with every citizen of Israel, is ashamed of you and remembers clearly why it’s time to replace you,” he said.
The new government is expected to win a narrow majority in the 120-member assembly, after which it will be sworn in. The government plans to hold its first official meeting later this evening.
It’s unclear when Netanyahu will move out of the official residence. He has lashed out at the new government in apocalyptic terms and accused Bennett of defrauding voters by running as a right-wing stalwart and then partnering with the left.
Netanyahu’s supporters have held angry protests outside the homes of rival lawmakers, who say they have received death threats naming their family members. Israel’s Shin Bet internal security service issued a rare public warning about the incitement earlier this month, saying it could lead to violence.
Netanyahu has condemned the incitement while noting that he has also been a target.
His place in Israeli history is secure, having served as prime minister for a total of 15 years — more than any other, including the country’s founder, David Ben-Gurion.
Netanyahu began his long rule by defying the Obama administration, refusing to freeze settlement construction as it tried unsuccessfully to revive the peace process. Relations with Israel’s closest ally grew even rockier when Netanyahu vigorously campaigned against President Barack Obama’s emerging nuclear deal with Iran, even denouncing it in an address to the U.S. Congress.
But he suffered few if any consequences from those clashes and was richly rewarded by the Trump administration, which recognized contested Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, helped broker normalization agreements with four Arab states and withdrew the U.S. from the Iran deal.
Netanyahu has portrayed himself as a world-class statesman, boasting of his close ties with Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He has also cultivated ties with Arab and African countries that long shunned Israel over its policies toward the Palestinians.
But he has gotten a far chillier reception from the Biden administration and is widely seen as having undermined the long tradition of bipartisan support for Israel in the United States.
His reputation as a political magician has also faded at home, where he has become a deeply polarizing figure. Critics say he has long pursued a divide-and-conquer strategy that aggravated rifts in Israeli society between Jews and Arabs and between his close ultra-Orthodox allies and secular Jews.
In November 2019, he was indicted for fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes. He refused calls to step down, instead lashing out at the media, judiciary and law enforcement, going so far as to accuse his political opponents of orchestrating an attempted coup. Last year, protesters began holding weekly rallies across the country calling on him to resign.
Netanyahu remains popular among the hard-line nationalists who dominate Israeli politics, but he could soon face a leadership challenge from within his own party. A less polarizing Likud leader would stand a good chance of assembling a coalition that is both farther to the right and more stable than the government that is set to be sworn in.
#RHOA: Nene Leakes Says Cynthia Bailey Shouldn’t Return to the Show and Gives Update on Their Friendship!
It doesn’t look like the once close friendship between Cynthia Bailey and Nene Leakes can be repaired, at least per Leakes. The two have remained estranged since Leakes’ departure from RHOA. While Bailey admits the two aren’t necessarily friends but she wishes Leakes peace, Leakes has much harsher words for her former BFF.
Leakes is opening up more about her viewpoints on the latest season of RHOA. To put it lightly, she finds it boring and inauthentic. Furthermore, she believes certain people on the show no longer have a place and says fans are growing tired of a formula that doesn’t appear to work anymore.
In a conversation with Michelle ATLien, Leakes was asked whether Bailey should return to the show and Leakes gave a hard no.
“No. I mean she shouldn’t have come back many seasons ago.” Leakes said, “I think she should have been gone, that’s what my opinion is. And I think she is gone. I think she’ll say she moved to LA or something like that,” Leakes says of Bailey, referencing Bailey previously suggesting she’d move to LA to be with her new husband Mike Hill. Bailey has since confirmed the couple are staying in Atlanta.
Despite Leakes’ remarks, she says she has no ill feelings toward Bailey. “I hope so and I wish her well and all those things but I think that if you ever followed this show since season one, you should see the shift,” she says of Bailey’s storyline – or lack thereof. “And you would look at the show and say why certain people are still here and certain people are gone. That tells you just a lot right there.”
The ‘RHOA’ alum says she doesn’t consider Cynthia Bailey to be her friend
Leakes and Bailey’s friendship went south over Leakes’ feeling that Bailey doesn’t hold Kenya Moore accountable for her bad behavior. The two haven’t spoken much since Leakes exit from the show. She also did not attend Bailey’s October 2020 wedding to Hill.
In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored, Leakes told Jason Lee that the friendship between the two is over.
“Friends, no” Leakes stated boldly. “Can I speak to her when I see her? Yeah, I’ll try and raise my hand as much as I can.” Leakes then lifted one finger slightly as an indication to the minimal hello she’d give her former bestie.
As for her perception of the relationship between Bailey and Moore, Leakes believes it’s lopsided. “If you are a real friend, friends get their friends together,” she told Lee. “You tell your friend when you’re right or you’re wrong. You can’t just go hard on me and then your friend is doing the same thing and you don’t go hard on your friend.”
Leakes also indicates that she believes Bailey brings little to the show. “There’s a couple of people on Housewives – season after season – they just get to sit there and twiddle their thumbs and say a couple of little things.”
Leakes made similar comments during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live amid their fallout in season 6.

#HipHopNews: Swae Lee Claims $300k In Jewelry Allegedly Stolen From His Miami Hotel Room!
Swae Lee clams that jewelry was stolen from his hotel room while celebrating his birthday in Miami.
via Complex: The Rae Sremurrd singer claimed that a stay in the Mondrian Hotel in South Beach robbed him of $300,000 worth of jewelry, and he wants the hotel service staff to be held accountable for his loss.
According to TMZ, Swae Lee checked out of the Mondrian on Thursday (June 10th) and told authorities he couldn’t find a bracelet and a couple of chains. He had told the hotel about his missing items, and a staff member was able to retrieve the bracelet but not the chains. Miami Beach detectives don’t believe Swae Lee’s lost items were stolen by the hotel, and the Mondrian Hotel has remained hush on any details.
“The hotel is working in full cooperation with the police and authorities,” the hotel told TMZ. “As always, the safety and security of our guests and colleagues remains our top priority.”
This isn’t the first time Swae has lost something valuable. In December 2020, he misplaced a hard drive at the Los Angeles International Airport that contained all of his music. He offered $20,000 for its safe return and the person who stole it replied with his own ransom of $150,000. Eventually, the two were able to work out a deal. “[It’s] on its way back,” Swae told his fans. “It’s like a movie, bro…but I’m not really stressing. I’ve dealt with worse shit than this.”
Hopefully, Swae is reunited with his lost jewelry soon.
If a staff member was able to find one item, that probably means that the staff member can ‘find’ the others too.

Eva Marcille Stands By Controversial ‘Nappy Headed’ Comment, Calls Out Porsha Williams For Using Similar Statement: ‘Bye Ashy’ Is Okay?!
Eva Marcille is addressing a controversial moment in her final season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The model and reality star appeared in seasons 10-12 of the popular Bravo series. During a phone call with star Cynthia Bailey in the 12th season, she referred to Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams as “nappy-headed,” sparking colorist accusations against her.
Now, she has defended the term in an interview with Hello Beautiful saying:
“Nappy head is something I say that I have and my daughter also has until we comb it out. I’m a Black woman and it is a colloquialism that we have used. You will not dictate, because your skin is a little darker than mine, what colloquialisms I can or cannot use.”
She went on to point out that she’s from South Central, Los Angeles, and went to HBCU Clark Atlanta University. She said she has two brothers, one who is “dark as cherry wood” and another who is “as light as the sun.”
She added, We run the gamut. I have two Black parents.”
She went on to call out Porsha Williams, who called Kenya Moore “ashy” during a heated exchange on their debut season (season 5) of RHOA.
She said Porsha Williams calling her out for using the term was hypocritical, adding:
“[The criticism] specifically came from Porsha who had a big issue. ‘Why is you saying nappy head?’ And, ‘Bye ashy’ is okay?!”
She concluded, “You will not dictate my speech as a Black woman. You will not shun me or quiet me. I’m not mixed. I’m not biracial. I’m Black. I’m going to say what I want to say to my community and in my language. Period.”
Do you agree with Eva? Comment and let us know.
Kenya Duke, Gary Owen’s estranged wife, reacts to Wendy Williams interview!
Comedian Gary Owen recently made comments about his pending divorce with wife Kenya Duke during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. It appears that Duke saw the interview and let it be known that she was not pleased.
During an episode of The Wendy Williams Show on Thursday, the comic/actor was there to plug his current film project, The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2. However, Owen spent a majority of the interview publicly speaking about the break-up between him and Duke after 17 years of marriage and 23 years total as a couple.
Duke took to Instagram to respond to Owen’s comments.
“I was shocked you spent most of your time talking about me, the divorce, son and daughter,” Duke wrote. She was displeased that he didn’t “shut it down real quick” with Williams and focus more on promoting his film.
“Why didn’t you?… because you want my attention and you knew someone would send it to me.”
Duke filed for divorce in March, as reported by theGrio. The reasoning behind the split is unknown. She is currently requesting $44,000 per month in spousal support.
During the talk show interview, Williams asked Owen what happened between him and Duke that led to their break-up. Owen stated he was instructed not to disclose any details. However, he alluded that a big surprise was afoot.
“My lawyer doesn’t want me to say anything,” Owen said. “We got a lot of legal stuff we gotta go through. But I will say, there’s a big twist in my divorce that a lot of people don’t know about. It’s a doozy, but I can’t speak on it yet. But it’s big. It changed the whole dynamic of the divorce.”
Also, Owen pushed back on accusations from Duke that he was a deadbeat dad, saying, “it got out there that I’m a deadbeat dad, but our kids are adults.”
As Williams asked if Owen had a girlfriend or had been dating, he responded jokingly, “I belong to the streets now.” He went to say, “I think, emotionally, I think I’m just, probably, a little ahead of her as far as, like, you know, disconnecting from the marriage.”

5 Years After Pulse Shooting Killed 49 People, Nightclub Owner Says, “It Does Not Get Any Easier”!
Five years after the horrific mass shooting that killed 49 people at a nightclub in Orlando, Barbara Poma, who co-founded the inclusive gay nightclub “Pulse,” says the emotional trauma is still fresh.
According to People, Poma reveals the pain doesn’t let up. “For those of us who live it every day,” she says, “it does not get any easier.”
5 years ago, the mass shooting at Pulse was listed as the deadliest shooting by a single gunman in U.S. history. It is still the largest modern-day attack on the LGBTQ-plus community.
Now, as those affected prepare to commemorate the 5th anniversary today, with in-person, post-pandemic memorials, “it’s good to have events that are celebratory of life, that give people hope and inspiration,” Poma says, “and also, it’s important to give people time to reflect and lean in to how they’re feeling.”
The original “Pulse” nightclub was opened in honor of Poma’s late brother, who died in 1991.
Now with more than $20 million in hand, the onePULSE Foundation, with Poma at the helm as CEO, wants to honor the lives and legacy of those killed in the mass shooting.
Poma is now refining designs for a memorial estimated to cost upwards of $45 million, with no firm construction dates yet released. In addition, singer Ricky Martin was announced as national spokesman for the OUTLOVE HATE campaign to raise awareness and dollars for the effort last February.
This week, the U.S. Senate passed legislation designating the site a national memorial. This comes after having passed in the House of Representatives in May. The next step will be for measure to go before President Joe Biden, who is expected to sign it into law.
The foundation’s mission includes more than just building a memorial last month. They announced $236,300 in its second annual class of 49 “Legacy Scholarships.”
The scholarship awards for academic and career study directly reflect the wide variety of passions and interests of the 49 victims who lost their lives.
In years three and four, it became “too painful,” Poma said. “It was too much of a reminder. This year, I seem to be finding some better balance. But right now, I have no other alternative than to be there. So I’m there.”
“We don’t want what happened here ever forgotten,” she added.

Kim Kardashian rocks butt cutouts and Yeezy heels for KKW Beauty!
The 40-year-old “KUWTK” star shared some sexy behind-the-scenes Instagram snaps on Friday afternoon to promote her new KKW Beauty Camo collection.
Kardashian posed for mirror selfies while modeling a skintight Paolina Russo catsuit ($1,150) with back and butt cutouts, showing off her famous curves.
She completed the look — which was reminiscent of her similarly booty-baring LaQuan Smith leather jumpsuit from earlier this year — with a pair of thigh-high printed boots ($1,100) from Yeezy, her estranged husband Kanye West’s label.
Kardashian showed off her peekaboo catsuit on Instagram, proving she’s mastered the art of the mirror selfie.
Kardashian had previously shared other images from the KKW Beauty shoot, including one in which she sports a camo crop top, nude thong, sheer tights and thigh-high camo Vetements boots ($2,430).
“There are so many amazing green and neutral tones to create endless glam looks,” Kardashian wrote of her new makeup launch, which includes earth-toned eyeshadows, eye crayons and lipsticks. “I’m so excited about this collection and I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
In another shot from her campaign, the reality star sizzles in sheer tights, a camo crop top and matching thigh-high Vetements boots.

While the reality star continues to support West’s fashion label, the 44-year-old rapper appears to be breaking all ties with his ex.
As his relationship with supermodel Irina Shayk heats up, West has unfollowed the reality star — as well as her sisters — on Instagram.
Despite these personal struggles and the end of “KUWTK” after 14 years, Kardashian seems focused on her beauty, fragrance and shapewear brands. The businesswoman may even have a skincare line in the works.

David Archuleta Pens Heartfelt Message About Struggles With His Sexuality!
David Archuleta has opened up about his struggles with sexuality and religious faith.
The American Idol alum addressed the issue in a lengthy message posted to social media on Saturday. He told fans he had come out as gay to his family back in 2014, but is now uncertain where he lands on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
“I like to keep to myself but also thought this was important to share because I know so many other people from religious upbringings feel the same way,” said Archuleta, who grew up in a Mormon household. “I’ve been open to myself and my close family for some years now that I am not sure about my own sexuality.”
The 30-year-old singer and actor said he was romantically attracted to both genders at one point, but later realized he may be asexual, as he didn’t experience many “sexual desires and urges.” He went on to say that his lack of sexual attraction worked in his favor because he had committed to saving himself for marriage.
“Idk what to make of it and I don’t have all the answers,” he continued. “I just invite you to please consider making room to be more understanding and compassionate to those who are LGBTQIA+, and those who are a part of that community and trying to find that balance with their faith which also is a huge part of their identity like myself. I think we can do better as people of faith and Christians, including Latter-day Saints, to listen more to the wrestle between being LGBTQIA+ and a person of faith. There are more than you may realize going through that wrestle after all the misunderstandings that come with it.”
Archuleta said he felt it was important to speak on his sexuality because many of his fans have experienced the same struggles and uncertainty. He then admitted that he had tried to change himself for 20 years before realizing, “God made me how I am for a purpose.”
“Instead of hating what I have considered wrong I need to see why God loved me for who I am and that it’s not just sexuality,” he wrote. “So many other traits of who I am come from how I’ve been created. If other people choose to live differently than what you’ve been raised to believe is right, please have compassion because it’s most likely been an exhausting journey for them to be ok with the feelings they have and never have been able to change.”
Pulitzers Give Special Award To Darnella Frazier, Who Filmed George Floyd’s Murder!
The Pulitzer Prizes recognize some of the year’s most important journalism. This year, someone who isn’t a professional journalist, but whose actions had as much impact as any, is among those being honored.
Darnella Frazier, who filmed the death of George Floyd, received a special citation, Aminda Marqués González, co-chair of the Pulitzer Prize Board, announced Friday.
The board said Frazier was honored “for courageously recording the murder of George Floyd, a video that spurred protests against police brutality around the world, highlighting the crucial role of citizens in journalists’ quest for truth and justice.”
The 2020 news cycle was dominated by the pandemic, altering every aspect of life including how newsrooms operated. News organizations also covered and were affected by a reckoning over racial injustice. And of course, there was the presidential election.
These three topics, unsurprisingly, were the coverage areas honored with Pulitzer Prizes, the most prestigious awards in American journalism, on Friday afternoon.
“The magnitude of these stories and the pace at which they unfolded pushed many in the news business to the limits of endurance,” Marqués González said during a live broadcast. “Much of the great work this year came against the backdrop of unfathomable loss as our colleagues and fellow citizens mourn the deaths of more than 600,000 people from COVID.”
The awards, administered by Columbia University, recognize reporting in newspapers, magazines and digital news outlets. This year’s announcement was originally scheduled for April 19. But it was postponed to June so that the board members could meet in-person to evaluate the entries rather than choosing the winners remotely.
The New York Times received this year’s prize for public service, which is commonly viewed as the Pulitzers’ highest honor.
“The prize is awarded to the New York Times for courageous, prescient and sweeping coverage of the coronavirus pandemic that exposed racial and economic inequities, government failures in the US and beyond, and fill the data vacuum that helped local governments, healthcare providers, businesses and individuals to be better prepared and protected,” the board said.
The Atlantic won its first Pulitzer, with staff writer Ed Yong receiving the Pulitzer for explanatory reporting. (Magazines first became eligible to win in all categories with the 2017 Pulitzers.) BuzzFeed News was also a first time winner, recognized for international reporting.
14-Year-Old North Dakota Teen Killed In Random Attack While Skateboarding At Strip Mall!
A random vicious attack left a 14-year-old Fargo, North Dakota teen dead.
According to Fox News, Daisy “Jupiter” Paulsen was killed in a random attack that lasted nearly 20 minutes in which she was beaten, choked, and stabbed over 20 times.
On Tuesday, the victim was declared brain-dead four days after the assault. Her family is now working on donating her organs, the local news outlet The Forum stated.
Arthur Prince Kollie, 23, now faces a murder charge, including robbery and aggravated assault, a Cass County prosecutor stated.
Kollie told investigators that he used methamphetamine the day before the attack but denied having any involvement in the attack. However, he did admit that he was walking in the area where the assault occurred, but he did not “recall” when asked about it.
Kollie was already on probation for his role in a 2017 assault on a peace officer.
Jupiter was in the area skateboarding from her dad’s house to her mom’s around 7 am Friday when she was assaulted for about 20 minutes. Part of the attack was captured on a nearby surveillance video.
A witness saw a man leaning over the girl with his hand on her nose and the other on her throat and called 911, court documents stated. The worker tried to perform CPR on the young girl.
The suspect left the scene but was located at a nearby Walmart. Footage shows him grabbing new clothes and putting them on in a changing room before leaving without paying.
Police also discovered his discarded shoes and blood-soaked clothes in the changing room.
When Kollie was told he was under arrest for robbery and attempted murder, Kollie reportedly responded: “Attempted murder, as is she alive? Or what? What does attempted murder mean?”
On Monday, Jupiter’s dad posted an update to an online fundraiser, saying: “We just got word from the Doctor today that Our baby girl is too far gone, and there isn’t anything they can do. Just to gather family and to say our goodbyes.”
Her organs were donated once she was taken off life support.
“It means the world to me that part of her is going to be out in the world-saving lives and to be able to share that with somebody, to be able to help somebody, she would have loved that, she would have wanted that. So her wishes are also my wishes,” her mother said,

‘MISS AMERICAN PIE’
Ah yes, once again proving two already known things: (1) Nobody likes the person who tries to start a chant and (2) You can’t give yourself a nickname.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK AHEAD ALL!!!
