La La Anthony Covers Essence’s September/October Magazine!
In the September-October issue of ESSENCE, La La Anthony — best-selling author, actress, designer, producer and multihyphenate maven — graces the cover and provides perspective on the often-discussed issue of Black women and identity. In the cover story, Finding Success on Her Own Terms, Anthony talks candidly with ESSENCE Deputy Editor Allison McGevna about everything from co-parenting, raising and protecting her Black son in America, celebrating her Afro-Latina identity and the importance of telling Cyntoia Brown’s story.
ON PROUDLY BEING AFRO-LATINA: “I’m Afro-Latina: I’m Black, I’m Puerto Rican, I’m all of it. I’m proud of it. But no one really understood that. They were like, ‘You’re one or the other, and that’s it…’”

RAISING A BLACK SON IN AMERICA: “I always talk to him about how he needs to deal with police. It’s sad that these are the conversations we have to have with our children, but this is the world we live in. I make sure he knows that and understands the seriousness of it. I’m not trying to scare him in any way, but I want him to live in reality.”

HER APPROACH TO CO-PARENTING WITH CARMELO ANTHONY: “My son is at the center of everything… he is watching us, so if we’re out here being reckless or not leading with love, then what kind of example are we setting for him about how he should treat women or how people treat and love each other? … A lot of times, people forget that, and I understand, because you get emotional when you’re going through different things in relationships. But I always want my son to be able to say, ‘No matter what, my parents loved each other. My parents loved me.”
ON BRINGING CYNTOIA BROWN’S STORY TO THE SCREEN: “For her to trust me with this story, after everything she’s been through, it’s not something I take lightly.”

IT’S KAMALARAMA! Joe Biden selects California Sen. Kamala Harris As His Running Mate!
Joe Biden named California Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate on Tuesday, making history by selecting the first Black woman to compete on a major party’s presidential ticket and acknowledging the vital role Black voters will play in his bid to defeat President Donald Trump.

In choosing Harris, Biden is embracing a former rival from the Democratic primary who is familiar with the unique rigor of a national campaign. Harris, a 55-year-old first-term senator, is also one of the party’s most prominent figures and quickly became a top contender for the No. 2 spot after her own White House campaign ended.

Harris joins Biden in the 2020 race at a moment of unprecedented national crisis. The coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 150,000 people in the U.S., far more than the toll experienced in other countries. Business closures and disruptions resulting from the pandemic have caused an economic collapse. Unrest, meanwhile, has emerged across the country as Americans protest racism and police brutality.
Trump’s uneven handling of the crises has given Biden an opening, and he enters the fall campaign in strong position against the president. In adding Harris to the ticket, he can point to her relatively centrist record on issues such as health care and her background in law enforcement in the nation’s largest state.

Harris’ record as California attorney general and district attorney in San Francisco was heavily scrutinized during the Democratic primary and turned off some liberals and younger Black voters who saw her as out of step on issues of systemic racism in the legal system and police brutality. She tried to strike a balance on these issues, declaring herself a “progressive prosecutor” who backs law enforcement reforms.

Biden, who spent eight years as President Barack Obama’s vice president, has spent months weighing who would fill that same role in his White House. He pledged in March to select a woman as his vice president, easing frustration among Democrats that the presidential race would center on two white men in their 70s.
Biden’s search was expansive, including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a leading progressive, Florida Rep. Val Demings, whose impeachment prosecution of Trump won plaudits, California Rep. Karen Bass, who leads the Congressional Black Caucus, former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, whose passionate response to unrest in her city garnered national attention.

A woman has never served as president or vice president in the United States. Two women have been nominated as running mates on major party tickets: Democrat Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 and Republican Sarah Palin in 2008. Their party lost in the general election.
The vice presidential pick carries increased significance this year. If elected, Biden would be 78 when he’s inaugurated in January, the oldest man to ever assume the presidency. He’s spoken of himself as a transitional figure and hasn’t fully committed to seeking a second term in 2024. If he declines to do so, his running mate would likely become a front-runner for the nomination that year.

Born in Oakland to a Jamaican father and Indian mother, Harris won her first election in 2003 when she became San Francisco’s district attorney. In the role, she created a reentry program for low-level drug offenders and cracked down on student truancy.
She was elected California’s attorney general in 2010, the first woman and Black person to hold the job, and focused on issues including the foreclosure crisis. She declined to defend the state’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage and was later overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.

As her national profile grew, Harris built a reputation around her work as a prosecutor. After being elected to the Senate in 2016, she quickly gained attention for her assertive questioning of Trump administration officials during congressional hearings. In one memorable moment last year, Harris tripped up Attorney General William Barr when she repeatedly pressed him on whether Trump or other White House officials pressured him to investigate certain people.

Harris launched her presidential campaign in early 2019 with the slogan “Kamala Harris For the People,” a reference to her courtroom work. She was one of the highest-profile contenders in a crowded Democratic primary and attracted 20,000 people to her first campaign rally in Oakland.
But the early promise of her campaign eventually faded. Her law enforcement background prompted skepticism from some progressives, and she struggled to land on a consistent message that resonated with voters. Facing fundraising problems, Harris abruptly withdrew from the race in December 2019, two months before the first votes of the primary were cast.

One of Harris’ standout moments of her presidential campaign came at the expense of Biden. During a debate, Harris said Biden made “very hurtful” comments about his past work with segregationist senators and slammed his opposition to busing as schools began to integrate in the 1970s.
“There was a little girl in California who was a part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day,” she said. “And that little girl was me.”

Shaken by the attack, Biden called her comments “a mischaracterization of my position.”
The exchange resurfaced recently one of Biden’s closest friends and a co-chair of his vice presidential vetting committee, former Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, still harbors concerns about the debate and that Harris hadn’t expressed regret. The comments attributed to Dodd and first reported by Politico drew condemnation, especially from influential Democratic women who said Harris was being held to a standard that wouldn’t apply to a man running for president.

Some Biden confidants said Harris’ campaign attack did irritate the former vice president, who had a friendly relationship with her. Harris was also close with Biden’s late son, Beau, who served as Delaware attorney general while she held the same post in California.
But Biden and Harris have since returned to a warm relationship.
“Joe has empathy, he has a proven track record of leadership and more than ever before we need a president of the United States who understands who the people are, sees them where they are, and has a genuine desire to help and knows how to fight to get us where we need to be,” Harris said at an event for Biden earlier this summer.

At the same event, she bluntly attacked Trump, labeling him a “drug pusher” for his promotion of the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus, which has not been proved to be an effective treatment and may even be more harmful. After Trump tweeted “when the looting starts, the shooting starts” in response to protests about the death of George Floyd, a Black man, in police custody, Harris said his remarks “yet again show what racism looks like.”
Harris has taken a tougher stand on policing since Floyd’s killing. She co-sponsored legislation in June that would ban police from using chokeholds and no-knock warrants, set a national use-of-force standard and create a national police misconduct registry, among other things. It would also reform the qualified immunity system that shields officers from liability.

The list included practices Harris did not vocally fight to reform while leading California’s Department of Justice. Although she required DOJ officers to wear body cameras, she did not support legislation mandating it statewide. And while she now wants independent investigations of police shootings, she didn’t support a 2015 California bill that would have required her office to take on such cases.

“We made progress, but clearly we are not at the place yet as a country where we need to be and California is no exception,” she told The Associated Press recently. But the national focus on racial injustice now shows “there’s no reason that we have to continue to wait.”

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Opens Up About Her Miscarriage and the Treatment of Black Patients!
Porsha Williams has previously opened up about the miscarriage she experienced before giving birth to her daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley. At the time, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member noted that she was sharing her story “to help other women,” and now, she is using her voice to shed light on the racism that is prevalent in the medical community. Porsha spoke about her experience during Bravo’s roundtable discussion, Race in America: a Movement Not a Moment.

“With my first miscarriage, I was actually sent home about three or four different times telling them that I was in pain, and I felt like I was going to have a miscarriage. And it just goes back to doctors feeling like Black women have this serious threshold for pain,” Porsha explained. “You have to manage pain for patients, because that can trigger other things in the body, and so, I really do feel like the pain management around that time, I ended up having fibroids and that’s what was causing it, is what caused so much stress on my body that I ended up having a miscarriage.”

As an anesthesiologist, Dr. Britten Cole from Married to Medicine Los Angeles described the racism she has seen firsthand, explaining the stark difference between the treatment Black and white patients receive.

“This is real. The disparities are huge,” said Dr. Britten. “Not to mention, the disparities within the medical community itself, within the healthcare staff. We have our own battles we’re fighting among other doctors, right? There’s no support in the system for us as physicians. That’s why most of these academic institutions don’t have Black physicians to take care of the Black community, because they end up shifting them out, because they get pushed out because it’s a hostile environment.”

Dr. Britten also described the conditions that often lead to Black patients feeling distrustful of the medical system.
“A lot of Black people, Latino people, they typically go to community hospitals, community clinics, and that’s where they get their healthcare. Why? Because they see doctors that look like them. They speak their language, so they feel more comfortable there, and they know once they go to the big house, and that’s what we call the major academic institutions, they’ll get lost. There’s no one who speaks their language, no one who understands them, and no one who really cares about them,” she said. “So they get slower treatment, they get minimal treatment. They don’t get what they need, so they’re in these communities, they don’t have enough staff members, they have subpar equipment, so they don’t even have what they need in these communities.”

Dr. Simone Whitmore from Married to Medicine noted that as a physician, she deals with racism in the workplace on a daily basis.
“We deal with racism at the hospital every day: our patients, we as physicians. One of the most important points I want to make, because here in Atlanta, we are so spoiled that there are so many African American physicians in various specialities, but in the U.S., there are only 7 percent of physicians across this country,” said Dr. Simone. “It’s a small number when you look up that we makeup 12 percent of the population, so at a minimum, the African Americans should make up 12 percent of the physician community."

Dr. Eugene Harris explained that these issues stem from systemic racism that has long impacted the medical community.
“It is systemic. It starts with better access to medical education. We shouldn’t be 5 to 7 percent of doctors in the country. And then when Black doctors, we make it, we are able to help Black patients and we’re able to help our white physician counterparts relate better to Black patients as well,” he said. “We have to have a seat at the table to enact change.”

Fat Joe is giving Drake the crown. During his “Joprah Show” on Instagram Live on Friday night, Fat Joe welcomed special guest Rick Ross. At one point during their conversation, the topic turned to Drake. Joe gave props to Drizzy for dominating the charts and even went as far as to declare him the Michael Jackson of this generation.

“Drake is possibly the hardest person to get in touch with,” said Joe. “And let’s be clear: Every song he does goes No. 1. He’s just like the Michael Jackson of this time.”Rozay also showed love to Drizzy while discussing their relationship. “The love is genuine and it’s been like that for close to a decade now since he came in the game,” he said.

He said that Drake has shown gratitude for supporting him early on in his career by showering him with gifts including Rolexes. “The love is genuine between us,” added Ross.

And he doesn’t plan on stopping. He is “90 percent” done with his sixth studio album, which is due later this summer.

Aunjanue Ellis Speaks to Essence Magazine About Her Emmy Snub!
When The Clark Sisters: The First Ladies of Gospel aired on Lifetime back in April, Black Twitter had predicted another Emmy nomination for Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis transformed into the stern matriarch and uncompromising choral director, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. And she helped the movie network earn its highest-rated original movie in four years.
So when the 2020 Emmy nominations were announced last month, fans were left scratching their heads because Ellis’s performance was overlooked. Ellis, who was nominated for her role in When They See Us back in 2019, spoke to ESSENCE exclusively about being left out of the nominations.

“First of all before I say anything, let me send a huge congratulations to everybody who was nominated. Congratulations to them. I’m happy for them. I never want somebody else’s joy to be my unhappiness. That’s awful. I just want to be clear about that,” Ellis says during a Zoom call.
“I would be dishonest if I didn’t say that I didn’t want [to be nominated]. And the reason why I wanted it is because I wanted it for The Clark Sisters. I wanted to be able to give them the shine that they deserve,” the actress and activist shares, while swatting away bugs in the Mississippi heat. “Because we can sing and dance, we make it look easy. Black women make it look easy and the rest of the world takes it for granted. When it’s done by other folks, we talk about the genius of someone, we talk about their work, we canonize them, we say these are the best of their generation. But we don’t talk about our work in those terms.”

Ellis says the Clark sisters are the “embodiment” of Black genius. “They don’t know who the Clark sisters are. They are Black famous. We know who they are better than anybody. We know they can sing better than anybody, we know their writing is better than anybody. They are as significant as their Bob Dylan, as their Bruce Springsteen,” she adds.

The NYU Tisch School of the Arts trained artist made it clear that her feels aren’t a case sour grapes. Ellis says, “If there is disappointment—and there is disappointment. I’m just going to be honest, and I think it’s right to be transparent about that. It’s because I wanted to honor them with that. And that not happening was disappointing to me because I could not give them that.”

Catch Ellis on August 16 in HBO’s Lovecraft Country.

D.L. Hughley says Kanye West is ‘conveniently’ mentally ill, likens him to Trump!
D.L. Hughley slammed Kanye West in a new interview accusing the rapper of using his mental illness when it “serves his purpose.”
The comedian said on Fanroom Live with Chanel Omari on Sunday that while he recognizes how “devastating” mental health issues are to the black community, he doesn’t believe it excuses West’s behavior.
West revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018. Kim Kardashian reaffirmed this diagnosis recently after a series of tweets ranting about their personal lives caused a stir.

“There is no doubt that he suffers from some level of mental illness, but it isn’t why he’s misogynistic, it isn’t why he’s disrespectful to our history,” Hughley, 57, said. “Kanye West, you don’t have to be mentally ill to put an asterisk on slavery and he consistently does it whether it’s Harriet Tubman, when he denigrated her, whether he’s talking about slaves.”
West, 43, said in a controversial TMZ interview in 2018, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice.”
“He’s not so mentally ill that he’ll talk about any other group of people,” Hughley continued. “He talks about people that he knows he can get away with, and then he’s not so ill that he’s trying to be a disruptor in the political form. He’s not so ill that he takes $5 million in PPP payments, so he seems to be conveniently ill when it serves his purpose.”

West continues to make his presidential bid for the 2020 U.S. presidential election, despite not qualifying on the ballots for several states.
In July, it was revealed that his Yeezy fashion line received between $2 million and $5 million from the Trump administration’s $660 billion Paycheck Protection Program.

“I think that he, to me, Kanye West is exactly like Donald Trump, so it makes sense that they’re attracted to one another,” Hughley added. “They’re both immoral, they’re both demigods.”

Mike Johnson Puts 'The Bachelor' on Blast For 'Atrocious' Lack of Diversity On and Off Camera!
Mike Johnson is slamming The Bachelor franchise for its lack of diversity both off and on camera.
In an interview with Variety, the former Bachelorette contestant called out the franchise for not being inclusive.
“It’s atrocious,” he shared. “There have been numerous, wonderful Black and indigenous people of color that could have been cast in the lead roles, and for the franchise to not to do that, it’s just terrible.”

Mike added that “it should not have taken an outcry from the fans, who I absolutely adore — that was a clear sign that there is power in numbers, so I love the fans who signed petitions and things like that, but it shouldn’t have taken that.”
“I hope that they do listen. And I hope that it’s not just the leads and contestants, but people in charge should also be diverse, as well.”

Mike was among the many who called out the franchise earlier, alongside Rachel Lindsay, who was the first, and only Black lead for the franchise at that time.
He was also one of the top considerations for the lead of the next Bachelor season. Matt James was named as The Bachelor just a few months ago

Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. Bout Pushed to Nov. 28
The pay-per-view exhibition match between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. is being pushed back from its Sept. 12 date to Nov. 28. According to sources, the event's organizers need more time to secure international television deals. Sources also say Tyson's team felt postponing the fight would maximize revenue.

The eight-round bout has been sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission and will be held at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The undercard will feature former NBA player Nate Robinson and YouTube personality Jake Paul. In addition to pay-per-view, the exhibition match will also be broadcast on Triller, which is currently producing a 10-part docu-series.

Will Smith's Production Company Reaches Settlement Over Film Based on Serena and Venus Williams' Father!
Will Smith's production company, Overbrook Entertainment, and Warner Bros. have reached a settlement after being sued over their upcoming biopic, King Richard, based on Serena and Venus Williams' father, Richard Williams.
In court docs obtained Warner Bros., Overbrook, Williams and his son and business partner Chavoita Lesane, and production company Star Thrower Entertainment (as well as its executives Timothy and Trevor White) "have entered into a settlement" with TW3 Entertainment and Power Move Multi Media, who are "dismissing their claims against defendants with prejudice."
The two parties, however, ask the court retain "jurisdiction over the Parties to enforce the payment term in the settlement. As reported in June, TW3 Entertainment and Power Move Multi Media claimed that they were the true owners of the tennis coach's life rights.

TW3 Entertainment and Power Move Multimedia claimed they were the true owners of Williams' story because they bought the rights to his 2014 memoir, Black and White: The Way I See It, in 2017. In court docs obtained at the time, they claimed they bought the rights from Lesan, who allegedly had been given power of attorney by his father for "purposes of dealing with film and media rights for his book." Lesane was allegedly involved in an initial draft of a script for the project too. Williams later sold the rights to his life for King Richard for $1 million.

King Richard -- starring Smith, Saniyya Sidney as Venus and Demi Singleton as Serena -- was set to hit theaters in 2021.

Free Tianna Arata: Thousands Sign Petition Calling Attention to Arrest of Police Brutality Protester!
Thousands have united behind the cause of calling attention to the disheartening case of Tianna Arata, a California protester who was arrested in July and now faces a litany of preposterously harsh charges.
Of the multiple charges the San Luis Obispo Police Department is asking the District Attorney's Office to bring against the 20-year-old activist, five of them are felonies. Per regional outlet KSBY, the potential charges include inciting a riot and false imprisonment, among others.

A protest headed by Arata on July 21 against police brutality notably included the temporary blocking of Highway 101.
In a statement shared immediately after the protest in question, police claimed they had made contact with Arata prior to the demonstration to discuss methods of keeping the protest peaceful.
"The City of San Luis Obispo supports peaceful protests," Police Chief Deanna Cantrell said, "but we will not support violent acts and will continue to take action to protect our community." Activists and supporters have disputed police's account of how the day proceeded, particularly with regards to blame being placed on Arata for incidents including a damaged vehicle window.

Furthermore, law enforcement's handling of Arata's arrest has been widely condemned, including in a recent piece from the San Louis Obispo Tribune editorial board that assesses police's actions as being focused on carrying out a campaign of "vindictiveness" that will only "further divide" the region.
"There are eyewitness reports and video evidence of motorists driving into groups of protesters, but we've yet to hear whether any action will be taken against them," the board said, adding that there should be concern surrounding the fact that the narrative is being shifted to paint drivers as "blameless victims."

At the time of this writing, a petition calling on the District Attorney's Office to not pursue charges had garnered nearly 100,000 signatures. Furthermore, supporters have started calling for justice for Arata using the #FreeTianna hashtag, as well as by sharing a LinkTree page that lists a number of ways people can get involved.

RuPaul ‘Disengaging’ From Social Media During ‘Overwhelming’ Times!
Rupaul has had it with being scrutinized on social media, we’re told.
The “Drag Race” host, who uses the pronouns he and she interchangeably, sent followers into a frenzy last month when his Instagram posts began mysteriously disappearing from the app. Many assumed the drag icon’s account was hacked, but Page Six has learned he deleted posts because he wants to “disengage” and is laying low during a fraught period online.

“The truth is things like Black Lives Matter is overwhelming for someone like Ru. He gets backlash for appearing to not … support the community and [he receives] a lot of negativity, so he disengages,” a source said.
Another source confirmed he’s lying low, but said that it has nothing to do with pressures of BLM. RuPaul has come under fire for a lack of diversity on “Drag Race.” He’d responded to the controversy by saying: “First of all, the host of our show is black, gay, and a drag queen … we’re pretty diverse. Yes, there are lots of different types of people here.”

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, sources have described him as being disinterested in the contestants. “He should be called ‘Rude Paul.’ She hates drag queens and is extremely rude to them. You’re not allowed to talk to him unless told to. You can’t call him, ‘Hey gurl.’ No one can call him, ‘Mama Ru.’ None of that. He is not your friend. You cannot make small talk,” the first source said.
A source close to production told us there’s no truth to Ru being rude and hating the queens. A rep did not comment.

Keke Palmer Possibly Teases New ‘Millennial’ Talk Show!
Actress, performer, and TV host Keke Palmer, might have just lost her TV gig to the coronavirus pandemic.  But it looks like she might have a new idea in the works.
ABC announced that they would be suspending her show Strahan, Sara and Keke in March, shortly after the network replaced the show with a news program about the global coronavirus pandemic called What You Need to Know. In July, it was announced that Strahan, Sara and Keke would being canceled altogether. Keke Palmer previously said that she expected the show might get canceled.

“[It was] expected. Because, here’s the thing, when the pandemic hit – that’s what was on all our minds: pandemic, and corona, and understanding COVID. So I knew that if our show did come back, it’d have to be much, much, much later, ’cause our show is really about an audience. If you think about it, that’s what we do. We do news with a little bit of entertainment.”
She added, “It’s really fun conversations and light-heartedness. So with the times, some of the conversations change and that kind of leaves ‘SSK’ out. So I expected it.”
The actress posted a tweet today (Aug. 10th) that has many wondering if she is taking matters into her own hands, and creating a new millennial version of ‘The View.’ She solicited ideas for who her fans would be interested in seeing beside her on a panel.
“If I were to create a millennial “The View”, who would you want to be my co-hosts?”
Hundreds of suggestions came in under her post.

What are your thoughts on social media’s suggestions?

Lakeith Stanfield Sparks Concern After Sharing Vids Of Him Drinking Liquor From Pill Bottle!
Keith Stanfield, also known as Lakeith Stanfield, has successfully sparked concern over his well-being following a series of alarming posts shared on his Instagram account. The "Sorry to Bother You" actor took to the photo-sharing site to upload some videos of him pouring liquor into a blood pressure pill bottle before drinking it.

Underneath a video of him pouring the alcohol into the bottle, Lakeith wrote, "I like to be by myself because I can hurt myself and no one tells me to stop or fakes like they care." In a separate post, the actor added, "Reality is boring and moves too slow and no one is trustworthy." He also stated that he'd like to be inside because "outside is crazy."
Even though Lakeith deleted the posts afterwards, people already saw them and were quick to reshare it on social media, begging people who know the "Atlanta" star to check on him to make sure that he's okay. "Someone please check on lakeith stanfield. he's posting some really alarming and worrying stuff on his instagram page. i'm extremely worried and scared rn. comments have been turned off on his page," one person said.

"Please pray for Lakeith Stanfield, he went from posting alarming suicidal things to deleting all post," another wrote. "please dont let anything happen to lakeith stanfield. He doesnt deserve it," someone else commented.

Fortunately, several people later spoke up to inform others that the actor is all right after the alarming posts. For instance, "The Real" host Loni Love said, "I had someone contact LaKeith .. he's ok ... I trust the person and can say to stay tuned…" Meanwhile, journalist Britnie Danielle said, "Heard from my boy who knows LaKeith. He said they spoke and he's fine. Those pill bottles are old, according to him. Told him to tell Lakeith to stop posting cryptic ish and freaking people out."

Kanye West All Smiles Dancing With North West As Kim Laughs Off Divorce Rumors!
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian seem to be getting along despite rumors circulating that their marriage is crumbling. The 43-year-old rapper and his "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star wife recently jetted off to the Dominican Republic with their children to enjoy some family time and "focus" on their relationship and it appears to be working.

Kanye West shared a video of family time with Kim and their oldest child, North West, just weeks after his breakdown where he revealed they almost terminated the pregnancy.
The seven-year-old and her famous daddy got down while dancing on the street as Kim Kardashian filmed while driving. Don't worry, she drove slow and it appears the family was on a golf cart. In the video, Kanye West appeared happy while spending time with his family and was full of smiles, a rarity for the star.
Playing the viral "Friday Dance" song, the rapper looked at his baby girl and sang, "it's Fri-day then Saturday, Sunday" before jumping out of the moving vehicle and showing his fun side.

He then encouraged his daughter to join him and the happy tyke jumped down to dance with her daddy. Kim Kardashian is heard laughing at her husband in the background as he busted out some embarrassing dad moves. She was also heard encouraging their son, Saint, to get down and dance.

After North jumped back on the golf cart, Kanye West kept doing his thing all while showing off his pearly whites. "IT’S FRI-YE-YE!!!" Kanye West captioned the adorable video that he shared on his Twitter Friday night.
It appears that Kanye West wasn't bothered by Kim Kardashian taking to her social media and sharing some smoking hot shots. As The Blast reported, the KKW Beauty founder showed off her snatched waist in a skintight dress that was practically painted onto her skin on Thursday. Kanye West has spoken out in the past about how her sexy shots were " "affecting my soul and my spirit" in a negative way.

The couple is rumored to be going through a rough patch with divorce on the table, so fans questioned Kim's decision to go ahead with the drool-worthy shot. This video seems to show that Kanye doesn't care.
