#HipHopNews: 50 Cent Warns Rappers About Using Gang-Related Lyrics!
50 Cent has a warning for fellow rappers.,On Monday (March 23), Fif shared an article on Instagram about how prosecutors are using lyrics as evidence in court more and more often, despite the lyrics not always being truthful. In his caption, the G-Unit rapper reminded rappers that gang-related bars can and will get you in trouble.

"I told you in 03 /i do what i gotta do/ i don’t care if i get caught/the DA can play this mother fucking tape in court/i’ll kill you HEAT," 50 began, quoting his 2003 song "Heat" from his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin'. "(This is not new) if you say crazy shit on these records they are gonna use it. if you in a gang on the song then you in the gang when the indictment come fool. LOL."

Like Fif mentioned, this practice is certainly not a new one. Lyrics being used against artists in a courtroom, specifically rappers, dates back decades with the 2 Live Crew. Most recently, lyrics to 6ix9ine's songs "Gummo," "Kooda" and "Billy" were used during his testimony against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

While touring is not an option right now, 50's been keeping busy with the jokes on Instagram amid the coronavirus quarantine. Last week on March 15, he joked on the current state of affairs and compared 2020 to the failed Fyre Festival promoted his arch rival, Ja Rule.

Taylor Swift's Publicist Reacts to Kim Kardashian Saying the Singer 'Lied Through Her Publicist'!
Tree Paine, who has been Taylor Swift‘s publicist for years, is speaking out in response to Kim Kardashian saying that the singer “lied through her publicist.”

Over the weekend, the 2016 phone call between Taylor and Kanye West, in which he asked her to launch his song “Famous,” was leaked online in its entirety. In the past, we had only seen short clips that were released by Kim.

When the song was released, Taylor was upset that Kanye called her a “b-tch” and after it was reported that the rapper got her approval for the lyrics, Tree released a statement denying that the phone call was to get her approval. Months later when the feud was reignited, Kim posted clips of the phone call online.
In her statement released on Monday night (March 23), Kim said, “To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission…’ They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word ‘b-tch’ was used without her permission.”
Tree spoke out soon after and reshared her original statement with the following message: “I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing. P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video? 😂 😂 😂.”

NYC drag star Nashon Wooden, who performed as Mona Foot, dies from coronavirus
Nashon Wooden, who performed in the downtown Manhattan club scene as drag star Mona Foot, has died from the coronavirus, a friend said Monday. He was 50.

In an emotional Instagram post, “Project Runway” winner Geoffrey Mac said, “I lost my best friend today from the coronavirus, Nashom Wooden.”
“And I just want to make sure that everybody out there stays healthy, and takes care of each other because the virus is really real. And I’m just so sorry,” the fashion designer said through tears.
Another friend of Wooden’s said that he was recently sent home from the hospital for not exhibiting serious enough symptoms.
Wooden, who was born in Brooklyn, burst into The Big Apple’s nightlife scene in 1989, quickly gaining a following while regularly performing at the Boy Bar in the East Village.
In an August 2017 interview with Paper Magazine, Wooden had already retired Mona Foot, telling the publication, “It just kind of fizzled out. I stopped taking gigs.”
But in 2018, Mona Foot performed once more at Wigfest, an outdoor drag festival, dressed as Wonder Woman.
Aside from Mona Foot, Wooden was also known for his role as one of three singers in the band “The Ones.”

The band’s single, “Flawless,” which was released in 2001, was even sampled by George Michael.

Wendy Williams is ready to ‘risk it’ for TV return during quarantine!
“The Wendy Williams Show” is one of many talk shows currently on hiatus due to the spread of the coronavirus. While the walk-of-famer understands why a hiatus was necessary, she still hopes to return to the airwaves sooner rather than later.
During a recent trip to “Dr. Oz” — one of very few shows still in production — Williams, 55, says she learned she’d be shutting down production over the phone.

“I got a telephone call, honestly, and the phone call was, ‘Wendy?’ I was like, ‘What? What am I doing wrong now?’ I always think I’m in trouble. They said, ‘We’re all shutting down everything, all the networks. Nobody is going to be doing new shows. We want all the hosts to be well.’”
She suggested hosting the show sans a studio audience, which she did on March 12. That, however, marked her last day on air.

“I said, ‘But I can do it even with no audience. I don’t even have to have the staffers there because I did that for two days.’ But they said, ‘No. We need to have you home, indefinitely.’ There will be no more Wendy or any of the other people for a period of time.’”
Williams went on, “I’m willing to risk it with one camera and a flashlight. I’m ready to go back to work next week. I’m ready to go back to work when we’re like — come on, let’s go!”

The former radio star also took to Instagram from Dr. Oz’s green room, catching up with fans while discussing her quarantine craving for deviled eggs.
A statement released to staffers the evening of March 12 read, “The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority. Considering the current escalation of the Coronavirus, production will be put on hold, indefinitely. However, the office will remain open for you to pick up any materials or personal items.

“In place of live shows we will air repeats and we will continue to monitor the situation with the CDC and city officials to determine the best time to return and produce live shows again. Thank you for everything you do and please stay safe!”

Paramount Pictures also postponed the release of the highly-anticipated A Quiet Place Part II, which was set to hit theaters in March.
In the meantime, Universal Studios already went ahead and put The Invisible Man, The Hunt, and Emma on home streaming services to rent or purchase.

Where’s Dr. Anthony Fauci? He Has been Absent Amid Reported Rift With Donald Trump!
Attorney General William Barr attended the coronavirus task force’s briefing at the White House Monday, a briefing from which Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was notably absent. According to previous reports, President Donald Trump was “furious” at Fauci for suggesting that the economy would need to stay locked down for an extended period in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
As Reuters reported, Barr made his debut at the now-daily briefings, appearing on Monday to discuss the administration’s efforts to combat price gouging and hoarding of needed medical supplies. Earlier in the day, Trump signed an executive order meant to prevent hoarding and price gouging, and Barr said that the Department of Justice had already been investigating some potential cases of people hoarding on an “industrial scale” and then manipulating the market for profit.

“We have not waited for this order to be signed. We have received evidence recently. We have already initiated investigations of activities that are disrupting the supply chain and suggestive of hoarding,” Barr told reporters
While it was not clear why Fauci was not at Monday’s briefing, his absence drew considerable pushback from many of Trump’s critics. Others took issue with Barr’s behavior at the briefing, noting that he was laughing at Trump’s jokes when one of the speakers talked about having a low-grade fever and the president’s statements about “angry” reporters

The concern was especially high after a series of reports of friction between Trump and Fauci. As The Inquisitr reported, Trump grew “furious” at Fauci for suggesting an extended economic shutdown in order to curb the spread of the virus. Trump appeared to be growing weary at the idea of the economy being shut down, suggesting on Monday that he could call for some restrictions to be lifted sooner than medical experts have recommended.

Though Fauci is the nation’s top expert in the spread of infectious diseases, a report claimed that Trump was relying instead on leaders of the business world to determine how to best proceed.

Lady Gaga Delays 'Chromatica' Release, Reveals She Was Going to Do Surprise Coachella Set!
Lady Gaga has announced that her previously announced album Chromatica will be delayed.
“I wanted to tell you, that after a lot of deliberation, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to postpone the release of Chromatica. I will announce a new 2020 release date soon,” Gaga posted.

“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic,” she continued.
Gaga added, “Instead, I prefer that we spend this time focusing on finding solutions. It’s important to me that the attention is on getting essential medical equipment to healthcare professionals, making sure kids who depend on public schools for meals get the assistance they need, and that we help those who will be financially impacted by this pandemic.”
In addition, Gaga revealed she had a lot in store for this year, including a secret Coachella set she had planned. Coachella has since been postponed from April until October.
Gaga concluded her message with a reminder to stay home, and a promise we will all be able to celebrate, “dance together, sweat together, hug and kiss each other, and make it the most bombastic celebration of all time” when the album finally is released.

Gaga is also supposed to be going out on tour in support of her album.

Shirtless Christopher Meloni thrills thirsty fans with his ‘quarantine kilt’!
Christopher Meloni‘s latest sexy social media post is neither lawful nor orderly.
The former “SVU” star, 58, leaped into action Monday night sharing two photos of himself in his “quarantine kilt” after a fan asked him to “give us a quick quarantine selfie to take the edge off.”
In the first, Meloni poses shirtless with his six-pack abs on full display, wearing nothing but his Scottish skirt and a pair of tube socks; for the second, he added a white ruffled shirt and some shades.
“With glasses or without?” the actor cheekily asked his followers.
Needless to say, most of Meloni’s replies had little to do with his eyewear. “Without the kilt,” one thirsty fan tweeted, while another wrote, “With glasses. Me. I’m glasses.”
“Hey Chris, can we get a WITHOUT shirt but WITH glasses? That might be the winning ticket here,” a third joked.
Meloni starred as Detective Elliot Stabler on the hit legal drama for 11 years, until he departed in 2011.

Clearly, he still has the right to remain sexy.

Madonna Calls COVID-19 'The Great Equalizer' In An Bizarre Nude Bathtub Video!
Madonna has quite the... unique outlook on the on-going coronavirus pandemic.
Over the weekend, the legendary pop singer took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the global pandemic while naked in her bathtub.

“That’s the thing about COVID-19, it doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell," Madonna said in the video as eerie music played in the background. “It’s the great equalizer and what’s terrible about it is what’s great about it.”
“What’s terrible about it is that it’s made us all equal in many ways, and what’s wonderful about is, is that it’s made us all equal in many ways,” she continued. “Like I used to say at the end of ‘Human Nature’ every night, we're on the same boat and if the ship goes down, we’re all going down together.”

Madonna captioned the Instagram post, which also featured two photos of her in the bathtub: "No-Discrimination- Covid-19!! #quarantine #covid_19 #staysafe #becreative #brianeno."

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick suggests the elderly should risk their lives to save the economy
As the coronavirus continues to spread in the United States, forcing people to stay in their homes and causing an economic downturn, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick joined Tucker Carlson Tonight where he became a top-trending topic by suggesting we get back to our normal lives to save the economy even at great risk to the country’s senior citizens. Patrick, who turns 70 next week, believes it’s up to older Americans to take that risk.

“Tucker, no one reached out to me and said, ‘As a senior citizen, are you willing to take a chance on your survival in exchange for keeping the America that all America loves for your children and grandchildren?’ And if that’s the exchange, I’m all in,” Patrick said, later adding, “My message is, let’s get back to work. Let’s get back to living. Let’s be smart about it, and those of us who are 70-plus, we’ll take care of ourselves.”
Patrick’s suggestion was not well received on Twitter.
And though the mortality rate for seniors is much higher than for others, Patrick believes the risk is worth it to stem the economic downturn caused by the pandemic.

“Our biggest gift we give to our country, and our children and our grandchildren, is the legacy of our country,” Patrick said. “And right now that is at risk, and I feel like, as the president said, the mortality rate is so low, do we have to shut down the whole country for this?”
Patrick also believes the country will collapse if we shut down for more than three months, and when asked if that would be worse than dying, he said that it was. However, Patrick didn’t suggest that everyone go back to work immediately, just that it happens sooner rather than later, and that he’d trust President Trump to make that decision.

Earlier in the day, Trump showed signs of growing impatience with coronavirus-related shutdowns, saying he’s “not looking at months.”
