#RHOA: NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey End Friendship Feud in Emotional Face-to-Face!
NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey’s friendship feud came to an end on Sunday’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, as the two met and agreed to put their differences behind them and move forward in peace — even toasting to “new beginnings.”
It was a long time coming for the reality stars, who have been slamming one another in the press and on social media since their bond fell apart after last season’s finale.
Their separation had caused so much tension, they had barely been able to be in the same space together, though that will hopefully change now.
“There is a sense of relief, because we have so much history with one another,” Leakes, 52, told audiences, after their talk. “We took one step, but I’m sure we can take two, we can take three. It can only get better. So I feel like it was all worth it.”
“No matter what I go through with NeNe, we were friends. I’m always going to have love for her and wish her well,” said Bailey, 52. “How do you just stop loving somebody and caring about somebody, whether you were friends or not?”
So how did Leakes and Bailey get there? It started when Leakes decided to send Bailey some hors d’oeuvres to congratulate her on the opening of her newest business, the Bailey Wine Cellar. In response, Bailey sent Leakes a thank you note and an invitation to have a glass of wine there and talk through their problems.
Both came into the meeting with hurt feelings, but a desire to put the pain behind them.
“It really sucks to be in this place with NeNe. I’m not concerned about us being the best of friends again, but I can’t stand walking around knowing that she hates me,” Bailey said. “This has been a long time coming for us to sit down and have a conversation. I feel like we deserve to at least have a mutual respect for each other.”
But before they could do that, Leakes had to confront Bailey on why she had called her “a toxic friend,” something Leakes felt was unfair considering all she had done for Bailey.
“This is somebody I considered to be a sister, and I felt she was out saying I was a toxic friend,” said Leakes. “‘Toxic’ is heavy because I thought I was a good friend to Cynthia. So I thought that was a stretch. I thought the word was nasty.”
“When you are a friend, you are an amazing friend,” she told Leakes. “When things go left, then you can be very closed, you’re very quick to shut people off, pretty much close people away. When I made that statement, you had said something things, I responded to some things, we both had said a lot. Maybe toxic was a little strong, but I felt like the last time that we were together, I was trying to explain a situation to you and I felt like you were completely closed to hearing it. And then I actually saw you saying things about me that I didn’t like. … You have said I was weak and insecure, which is not true.”
That didn’t sit well with Leakes, who said she felt she was justified calling Bailey “weak” after seeing negative interviews Bailey had given about her.
“You did that and you need to take responsibility to what you did,” Leakes said. “You know me well enough to know that I take my friendship very seriously and I would not be out there purposefully doing something to somebody else.”
Bailey didn’t agree, telling Leakes, “When you get mad at your friend, you’re the first one to try to tear them down.”
How did Leakes respond to that? By digging into Bailey more, claiming that the model has a secret side to her she hides from the public. “You have done stuff that you don’t want people to think that [you’e done],” Leakes alleged. “You want people to think that it’s me, that’s the problem.”
Eventually things got so heated that Leakes walked out in tears.
“I think you don’t understand me, and the way you’ve made me feel,” she told Bailey, who went after her. “This thing that you said, ‘I’m a toxic friend,’ it was very hurtful to me. … I think you wanted people to think I was this bad person or this horrible friend and I want to be a good friend. I’m not trying to be a bad friend. And I just want you to know I’ve been hurt by a lot of the things.”
That moment of vulnerability made Bailey realize that Leakes was “struggling to have an accountability or own any of this.” So instead, she took “the high road” and apologized.
“I know that I hurt you,” Bailey said. “I am sorry. … I know I have said some things that were not nice to say. Just give me a hug please. NeNe, I’m sorry.”
“And I’m sorry. I really am, I’m sorry,” Leakes said as they hugged. “What I don’t want to do is hurt you. I don’t want to hurt you and that’s real, I don’t want to hurt you.”
Said Bailey: “You are that person in my life that I just never saw coming. And life is really too short.”
“I receive it,” Leakes said. “And I’m glad you understand how I feel. I do understand how you feel. And I’m glad we had this conversation. I am.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

#HipHopNews: Stretch & Bobbito Announce New Podcast: 'The Actual Stretch & Bobbito Show'!
Legendary radio hosts Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia are about to embark on their next adventure. Earlier this week, Bobbito revealed he and his longtime collaborator have teamed up for another podcast called The Actual Stretch & Bobbito Show.
“You all been wondering, so . . . happy to share you can now subscribe to ‘The Actual Stretch and Bobbito Show’ podcast!” he wrote. “There’s a teaser up and expect our debut episode soon.”
Bobbito included a link to the show’s first trailer, which promised discussions centered on “culture, music, sports, social justice issues and beyond.” They also plugged their debut album with the M19s, No Requests, which was released last month.
In an interview with HipHopDX, the duo opened up about the idea behind the album.
“If you receive the notice that Stretch and Bob produced an album, you’re probably going to think, ‘Oh my God, they probably got Nas, Rakim and Black Moon, and they probably got Pete Rock,’” Bobbito said. “So, it’s kind of a subtle statement. We are doing us. This is the music that we love, that we are passionate about, that we want to share with you. We’re not doing what our audience would want or expect us to do.
“I can’t tell you how many times I get booked as a DJ, and I say what is the desired music you like, and they say, ‘Oh, we want you to play 90s Hip Hop.’ No. I already did that. We did that very well. So, the album title is a bunch of tongue-in-cheek inside jokes for all the DJs as it is a sort of a subliminal message to our audience. This is us in 2020. Accept us.”
Stretch & Bobbito previously hosted a podcast on NPR called What’s Good with Stretch & Bobbito. Prior to that, they ruled the ’90s New York City airwaves on 89.9 WKCR-FM and later on 97.1 WQHT-FM.
#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ Dominates Box Office With Mighty $57 Million Debut!
Paramount’s family film “Sonic the Hedgehog” ignited over Presidents Day weekend with $57 million in North America and $100 million globally, the biggest showing ever for a video game adaptation.
“Sonic” is expected to earn $68 million to $70 million through Monday, one of the best results for the holiday weekend. The better-than-expected start is even more notable since movies based on video games tend to be rejected by moviegoers.
That could have been a reality for “Sonic” had director Jeff Fowler not gone back to the drawing board after immense internet backlash from fans over the first trailer. The movie, which cost $87 million to make, was postponed three months to give the filmmakers enough time to redesign the title character. It proved to be a sound decision because audiences gave the film an “A” CinemaScore. Ben Schwartz voiced the furry blue creature, who teams up with a local sherif (James Marsden) to defeat the evil Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey).
“The consumer always determines what is right and what is wrong. They made their voices clear, and we listened,” said Chris Aronson, Paramount’s president of domestic distribution. “This movie exceeded [audience’s] expectations. That’s a testament to that reset and terrific performances by Jim Carrey and the entire cast.”
After a string of financial failures in 2019 including “Gemini Man” and “Terminator: Dark Fate,” “Sonic’s” box office performance was a necessary win for Paramount. The studio could have a strong year in theaters should sequels to “Top Gun” and “A Quiet Place” deliver.
“Sonic” unseated last weekend’s victor, Warner Bros.’ comic-book adaptation “Birds of Prey,” for the No. 1 spot on box office charts. After its disappointing $33 million debut, Margot Robbie-led superhero adventure landed in second place with $17.1 million over the weekend and is expected to pull in $19.6 million through Monday. Those ticket sales, a steep 48% decline from its inaugural outing, would push its domestic haul to $61.7 million.
A number of movies opened alongside “Sonic” this weekend, including Universal’s romance drama “The Photograph,” Sony’s thriller “Fantasy Island” and Searchlight Pictures’ remake “Downhill.”
“Fantasy Island” earned $12.4 million, enough for third place, and is eyeing $14 million through Monday. The PG-13 horror remake of the classic TV show, produced by Blumhouse, cost $7 million.
“The Photograph” came in fourth with $12.2 million over the weekend and could make $13.3 over the four-day stretch, on par with expectations. That’s a solid start since the film cost $15 million to produce. “The Photograph,” starring Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield, was written and directed by Stella Meghie and produced by Will Packer (“Girls Trip,” “Ride Along”).
“It was the perfect release date,” said Universal’s president of domestic distribution Jim Orr, noting that Galentine’s Day (a nonofficial holiday celebrating female friendships) provided a nice boost in Thursday previews. “With [strong audience scores] from our core female audience, we’re going to have a nice run. It’s very encouraging.”

The best players in the league will honor his memory tonight by putting on a show. The league has honored Bryant by naming the game’s MVP trophy after the former Laker great.

An unidentified woman has filed a lawsuit against the estate of Rick James, claiming the late “Superfreak” singer raped her when she was 15-years-old!
The lawsuit, which was filed under the Child Victims Act, alleges that James raped the woman in 1979, while she was staying in a group home on Richmond Avenue in Buffalo, New York.
According to WGRZ, the victim stated in the lawsuit that James was at the group home visiting one of the group home parents. The woman claims she was introduced to him after dinner, not knowing he was the famous funk singer.
The victim alleges that after dinner, she went to her bedroom and changed into her nightgown and laid down on her bed to read a book, that’s when she claims James came into the room and laid down on top of her.
“He grabbed my hair and pushed my head into the pillow. I tried to fight him off, but he told me to “shut up and quit moving, or I’ll cut you.” He violently ripped off my underwear and proceeded to violent rape me and ejaculate inside of me. He then threatened me that if I told anyone, he would know where to find me,” the woman said.
In her lawsuit, she says she has suffered “physical, psychological and emotional injury” due to the rape, and she is seeking $50 million.
Marvel Introducing First Same-Sex Superhero Couple In Upcoming Film!
Last year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe confirmed that its upcoming film, “The Eternals,” would finally feature an openly gay male superhero; and it was recently that Tony and Emmy-nominated actor Brian Tyree Henry would be playing the cosmic-powered inventor named Phastos.
Now, actor Haaz Sleiman, who’ll play Marvel’s first gay superhero’s husband, has opened up in an interview published by LGBTQ news outlet NewNowNext about a “beautiful, very moving kiss” he recently filmed for the movie.
“I just shot a Marvel film with the first openly gay superhero, The Eternals,” the Lebanese-American actor said. “I’m married to the gay superhero Phastos,” he added. “And we represent a gay family and have a child.”
He shared how the scene was both emotional and groundbreaking: “Everyone cried on set,” the openly gay actor said. “For me it’s very important to show how loving and beautiful a queer family can be. Brian Tyree Henry is such a tremendous actor and brought so much beauty into this part, and at one point I saw a child in his eyes, and I think it’s important for the world to be reminded that we in the queer community were all children at one point.”
Marvel fans, are you ready for “The Eternals?”
Elton John needs to be helped off stage in New Zealand due to pneumonia!
Elton John needed to be helped off stage in New Zealand on Sunday after cutting a concert short because he was suffering from pneumonia.
The 72-year-old “Rocket Man” was performing at the Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland when he lost his voice and ended the show early, the singer said on Instagram
“I want to thank everyone who attended tonight’s gig in Auckland,” John wrote in a post along with an image of himself being assisted from the stage.
“I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia earlier today, but I was determined to give you the best show humanly possible. I played and sang my heart out, until my voice could sing no more.”
The singer had performed 15 of the 25 songs on this setlist, according to CBS News.
He was singing the hit “Daniel” when his voice grew hoarse and he eventually needed to quit. The crowd gave him an ovation as he was helped offstage by two crew members.
“I’m disappointed, deeply upset and sorry,” John continued on Instagram.
“I gave it all I had. Thank-you so much for your extraordinary support and all the love you showed me during tonight’s performance. I am eternally grateful.”
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie site accused of ‘deceptive marketing’!
Rihanna’s lingerie company is playing a naughty game of bait-and-switch with its customers, a consumer advocacy group said Tuesday.
Savage x Fenty has been “engaged in deceptive marketing and illegal business practices” that includes luring women into pricey $49.95-a-month memberships without their knowledge, according to consumer watchdog group TruthinAdvertising.org.
In complaints to the Federal Trade Commission and Santa Cruz, California, District Attorney’s office, Tina.org claims the underwear company Rihanna founded in 2017 entices shoppers with severely discounted items, like a $25 bra and underwear set decorated with red and blue lips that’s advertised on Instagram for Valentine’s Day.
But the $25 price is only available to subscribers. The real price is $81 —a fact that is only made clear “in a barely-legible, tiny, white font,” and which disappears from online ads after a few seconds, the watchdog says.
Customers who choose the “VIP” price get slammed at checkout when Savage x Fenty discreetly adds the monthly membership to shopping bags without displaying how much it will cost, Tina.org says.
“Because no information about the ‘Savage x Monthly’ membership is provided on the screen, consumers may be misled into believing that the membership is free with no strings attached,” according to its FTC complaint.
Indeed, customers have been complaining about being blindsided by Savage X Fenty’s membership fees for more than a year, the group said.
“I bought from this company once because of a sale, I did enjoy what I got. HOWEVER, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE SAVAGEXFENTY USED MY DEBIT CARD INFORMATION TO SIGN ME UP FOR THEIR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. this is a VIP package that costs $49.95 a month. I did not want or authorize the making of this account for me. 5 months later (because I do not use my debit card often and don’t check transaction history often) I had 5 months and $250 missing from my account. I never wanted this VIP package and never authorized SavagexFenty to sign me up for it,” one customer wrote to the Better Business Bureau in October, according to Tina.org’s investigation.
“I canceled my account. 4 months later they charge [sic] me again and said I was still a VIP…I have to change my bank account…” another customer complained.
TINA.org’s complaints take especially sharp aim at Rihanna’s e-commerce partner, TechStyle, whose closthing line Fabletics, which has ties to actress Kate Hudson, was dinged in 2014 for deceptive advertising.
“Of note, TechStyle Inc.’s co-founder and co-CEO Adam Goldenberg is no stranger to deceptive marketing or to the FTC,” TINA.org’s FTC complaint reads.
Three of TechStyle companies paid California regulators $1.8 in a 2014 settlement, in which they admitted no fault. Other TechStyle-affiliated companies paid $46.5 million that same year to the FTC for deceptive marketing of a weight-loss supplement called Sensa, TINA.org said.
“Our position is that TechStyle knows exactly what they are doing,” Shana Mueller, a Tina.org spokesperson, told The Post.
Neither TechStyle nor Rihanna immediately returned requests for comment.
Lizzo Twerks In Sexy Sheer Lingerie For Valentine’s Day In NSFW Video!
Lizzo is showing off some more skin! On Saturday (February 15), the “Jerome” singer-songwriter kept the Valentine’s Day festivities going when she shared yet another sexy video of herself, this time twerking in a smoking-hot lingerie ensemble for Instagram. "Getting ready for side n—a day ❤️ love u babe,” the Grammy-winning recording artist captioned the clip in which she literally shows off her assets for the world to see.
As to be expected, Lizzo’s latest IG post drew a number of mixed responses from her followers, with many divided on whether or not her body-positive posts are “modest” enough to share. "Confidence is one thing. Cool. But godd—n, what happened to self-respect? Modesty? … At one point she has to think this is too far," one user wrote of the clip.
"@lizzobeeating i love you," another fan applauded. "You exude so much confidence. … Shake it sista. You speak for many of us who hides inside but you speak out loud. Yaaaaaaas.”
Who Wore it Best? Offset and Chris Brown Rocking the Same Gucci Sweater!
Chris Brown and rapper Offset either have stylists who shop from the same racks, somebody caught a case of “copycat,” or it was pure coincidence after both men were spotted rocking the same sweater.
Offset was first spotted in a blue Mickey Mouse Gucci sweater in a photo posted to his wife Cardi B’s Instagram on Feb. 4. A week later C. Breezy posted a photo of himself rocking the same sweater.
Fans who took notice were quick to join in on the “who wore it better” social media bandwagon.
“They both rich who cares”
“They both rocked tf outta that sweater it’s A SWEATER 🙄🤦”
Hilariously, one person commented, “YESSS, giving the girls DADDY DAYCARE!!!” which in return spurred comments such as “hood Mr Rogers😭😭.”
After finding out the sweater retails for nearly $2,000, some folks simply did not have it in them to be concerned with who wore it better when all they could grasp was the price tag of the sweater.
“$1900 tho -,” commented one person, which sparked the reaction, “That’s all I was looking at.”
Either way “money ain’t a thing” for the two music acts.
Another thing both men have in common is fatherhood. Brown welcomed his second child, a son named Aeko Catori Brown, on Nov. 20. He also has a 5-year-old daughter named Royalty.
Offset has a leg up on the singer with his four children, Kulture Kiari, Kody, Kalea Marie and Jordan Cephus.
“It’s challenging when you have a career like this and you’re constantly on the road. It makes it tough to see your kids, especially when they’re young,” explained the Migos group member in February 2019. “Now that I’m older, though, I’m learning my way.”
Dwyane Wade Recalls Telling Gabrielle Union About Child He Fathered With Another Woman!
Dwyane Wade says the "hardest thing" he has ever had to do was tell his now-wife Gabrielle Union that he fathered a child with another woman.
The retired Miami Heat star and the actress began dating in 2009 and took a "break" from their relationship a few years later. In 2013, he welcomed a son, Xavier, with Basketball Wives star Aja Metoyerin. Wade, was at the time also a father to Zaire, 18, Zaya, 12, and nephew Dahveon, 18, proposed to Union late that year and married her in 2014.
"I had a child with someone else and I had to tell her," Wade says in the upcoming ESPN documentary, D. Wade: Life Unexpected, according to Entertainment Tonight. "Hardest thing I've ever had to do is man up and tell Gabrielle Union that I've had a child with somebody else. I couldn't sleep. I wasn't eating."
"When you hold something in that you know is going to come out and you have this information and you know it's gonna f--k somebody's life up, that you care about, that you love, if it don't hurt you, then you're not human," he added. "Me and Gab just went through something that you never want to go through and we still came out of it."
Wade and Union welcomed their first child together, daughter Kaavia James, in late 2018, via surrogate.
"That was my push away from the game," Wade says in the documentary, referring to his 2019 retirement. "It was time. There just came a point when I had to look in the mirror and say, 'What more do you want out of this?'"
D. Wade: Life Unexpected premieres on ESPN on Sunday, February 23 at 9 p.m. ET.
