Jason Momoa graces the cover of Men’s Health Australia
Actor Jason Momoa is the cover story for the December issue of Men’s Health Australia. Momoa is no stranger to being featured in fitness magazines for his muscled physique and workout regimen. You can read excerpts below and check out some new/old photos of Jason.
Jason Momoa’s uproarious laughter is hard to resist, even from across the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, in this case, I’m the source of his mirth, having just enquired how he feels about closing in on 40. He’s only 39, he bellows down the line from LA. “You did your research, didn’t you?” he says between guffaws. While I want to point out that I’d said “closing in”, the truth is, the way Momoa lives, works and perhaps most importantly plays, the question is kind of ridiculous.
“I’m all about just having the best goddamn day I can have,” says Momoa of his full throttle approach to life. “If my wife tells me we’re having spaghetti bolognese for dinner I will work so much harder because I know we’re going to have a great night. I can train hard as long as I know there’s a reward.
“It comes down to overall calorie intake so when we’re looking to lean down we just cut the Guinness down to a certain number per day,” says Abdelhamid of ensuring Momoa’s love of the black stuff never hampered his weight-loss goals. “If I’d made him cut it out completely he wouldn’t have performed as well.”

#RHOA’ 11th Season’s Premiere Had LOW RATINGS!
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premiered this past Sunday and while lots of die-hard fans have been eager to catch up with the ladies, the general public — and even some other fans — didn’t seem quite as interested.
Ratings for the season 11 premiere were down significantly compared to those of the last four seasons, according to Nielsen.
The Nov. 4 episode, which saw Eva Marcille join the cast as a full-time peach holder and replace Kenya Moore, drew only 1.93 million viewers. It’s a sharp drop among the last seasons, which hit its peak premiere viewership in season 7 with 3.83 million folks watching.
Since then, ratings have been on the decline for the long-running Bravo show. Season 8 drew 2.96 million viewers, season 9 saw viewership drop some to 2.59 million, and season 10 had 2.43 million viewers.
As for what led to such a drop among those watching, fans have several theories.
Some speculate it was a lack of promotion from the cast and Bravo.
“Less promotional interviews…”
“Not sure who dropped the ball but there was a significant absence of on-air promotional interviews. Eva and Shamari should have been everywhere.”
“A lot of people didn’t know they were coming back. Promos were not where they should have been. Bravo dropped the ball on this franchise @therealhousewivesofatlanta.”
Others blame the absence of long-time RHOA staples like Moore, who said she wanted a “drama free environment” and Phaedra Parks. The Atlanta attorney was booted from the show for her hand in spreading a rumor about Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams. Meanwhile, Blaque singer Shamari DeVoe is set to join later this season to replace Shereé Whitfield, who left the show after season 10.
“When we said we wanted Kenya that what TF WE meant…”
“They will continue to slip until they bring back Phaedra, Kenya, & Sheree.”
“We not playing about Kenya.”
“Bring Kenya and Phaedra back… thank you, next.”

Kelsey) and Giselle (Nicole Ari Parker) go head-to-head over the future of girl group Three Black Divas (featuring Martin alum Tisha Campbell-Martin). Plus, how did the actor/director/singer feel about directing actors like Alfre Woodard and Forest Whitaker?
"So the 'three bland decrepits' are a thing of the past," Kingsley begins, quickly dashing the good vibes that were floating around the room before his arrival. Becky's quick to get defensive and calls out Kingsley for being unreasonable, she ends up leaving the room to calm down.
When its just Giselle and Kingsley left, he makes his stance clear by concluding, "I am dropping them." Can Giselle save the Three Black Divas from this less than fab fate? Check out the clip below:
As for the rest of the Empire crew, don't miss Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and Lucious' (Terrence Howard) bet over who can find an artist to sign first. They'll go to any length to find talent worthy of their brand even if that means attending "high-stakes poker games" or taking to the streets.

#POLITICS: Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigns at request of Donald Trump, forced out less than 24 hours after midterm elections
It Is My Greatest Honor to Quit Because You Are Firing Me!
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has submitted his letter of resignation to the White House. "Thank you for the opportunity, Mr. President," he closes.
Here is the letter.
"At your request, I am submitting my resignation."
It is not dated.
Where this leaves the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller is anyone's guess. This, as others have noted, is the moment of maximum danger for the probe.
Jeff Sessions, the president's earliest and most fervent supporter in Congress, stepped down as attorney general Wednesday after brutal criticism from the president, bringing an abrupt end to his controversial tenure as the nation's top law enforcement officer.
Sessions, 71, lasted not quite two years in the job. But in that brief period, the former Alabama senator managed to usher in a new era at the Justice Department.
Sessions threatened so-called sanctuary cities with the loss of federal funding and announced a "zero tolerance policy" for people who cross the southern U.S. border illegally.
He decried a looming wave of violent crime across the country, even though criminologists maintain murders and assaults remain near historic lows in most places.
He ordered federal prosecutors to seek the most serious charges and stiff prison sentences against drug criminals, a stark reversal of former President Barack Obama's most prominent and bipartisan justice policy.
He presided over a rollback in investigations of local police. He rescinded policies that directed federal prosecutors to go after only the biggest cases involving marijuana in states where the drug is legal. And he recommitted to using private prisons for U.S. inmates and detainees.
GOOD RIDDANCE!

Wendy Williams Fears Demi Lovato Will Not Stay Sober Because Her Living Situation ‘Isn’t Stable Enough’
It looks like Wendy Williams is worried about what may happen to the singer while out of rehab! The talk show host fears that Demi Lovato’s unstable living situation and her sober coach will eventually cause her to start using drugs again.
According to new reports, Demi has decided to sell the house where her overdose took place and instead, spend equal time in a halfway house as well as a private L.A. house as she continues to recover and stay sober.
However, Wendy told the audience on her show that ‘It’s still not stable enough. You have to spend time in one place or another, all that time packing bags 3 days a week here, and 3 days a week there.’
As fans know, Demi left rehab a few days ago and was spotted with designer Henry Levy at Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Reports say he is also her ‘sober coach,’ aside from maybe being in the beginning stages of a romance.
The two were photographed by the paparazzi holding hands during dinner but Williams is not so sure they are dating.
‘They are not boyfriend and girlfriend, even though there was a picture of them holding hands. That is what a friend does when you are going through things. He is not the one for Demi,’ she said of Levy, noting that he doesn’t seem like her type.
‘She needs a real sober companion… He comes from a family that can just buy or sell Demi Lovato over and over again. Their money’s long and strong, they are up to something, the family. He has got nothing to lose by running around spending millions of dollars.’
Wendy went on to slam the man as a ‘really bad influence.’
‘He’s not a real sober coach. I wonder, based on this picture, are you actually sober? And, he has got too much money to be able to lead her down a rabbit hole of destruction.’ Yikes! Tell us how you really feel, Wendy!
‘Dancing with the Stars’ fans outraged by DeMarcus Ware’s elimination, but NOT John Schneider’s
Country Night on “Dancing with the Stars” ended with a surprise double elimination. According to the combined predictions of Gold Derby users, Joe Amabile and Alexis Ren were the likeliest contestants to be sent home, but instead it was John Schneider and DeMarcus Ware. However, our readers were only half-outraged by that outcome.
Ware was the bigger shocker. He’s a former NFL star, and football players have a storied history on “DWTS,” including four past Mirror Ball Trophy champions. And at first it looked like Ware would follow in those footsteps. He started the season at the top of the judges’ leaderboard, and while he lost some ground after that he was always well liked by the panel. He was well liked by our readers too: a whopping 89% thought he was “robbed,” compared to only 11% who thought he deserved to go.
Schneider hadn’t fared quite as well with the judges, and at age 58 he was the oldest celeb in the competition, which already put him at a disadvantage. But the judges were especially rough on him on Halloween Night — unfairly I think. He landed at the bottom of the leaderboard that night, and it was those scores that decided this week’s double ouster in combination with viewer votes. But only 40% of readers disagreed with his exit. The other 60% thought it was his time to go.
But let’s be honest, both eliminations seem odd when you consider that Grocery Store Joe is still in the competition. He has had unprecedented support from fans, who have kept him on the show even though he has received the lowest judges’ score on seven out of eight nights of competition thus far — an all-time record. How much longer will he last, and what other outrageous eliminations will we see before he’s sent home?

The rumored couple's latest outing has everyone convinced.
It appears as Usher may have a new lady on his arm after splitting from his wife of two years.

#FASHIONNEWS: Pyer Moss Designer Wins 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund
Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss, a fashion label known to celebrate Black culture, was the recipient of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. The designer was awarded the honor, which included $400,000, at New York City’s Brooklyn Navy Yard on Monday, according to Vogue.
Jean-Raymond was the only Black designer among the 10 hopeful finalists. He was selected by a committee of industry veterans and influencers including Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Instagram’s Eva Chen and designer Joseph Altuzarra.
Pyer Moss was founded in 2013 and has since become a favorite of celebrity fashionistas such as Issa Rae and Tracee Ellis Ross; both women wore pieces from the brand when they honored Black designers at the CFDA Awards and the American Music Awards, respectively.
Jean-Raymond has brought attention to racism, police brutality and mental health through his clothes. In September, during New York Fashion Week, his runway presentation took place in Weeksville, one of America’s first African-American communities during the 19th century.
During the show, he also debuted a T-shirt with the slogan “Stop Calling 911 on The Culture,” referencing the numerous reports of the police being calling on Black people as they carry out everyday tasks.
“This ride has been insane— we won, in Brooklyn,” Jean-Raymond wrote on Instagram after accepting the honor. “Thank you the PM team, friends, family, judges, Vogue, CFDA and Reebok. We’re ready for whatever comes next. Love”
Music Teacher who beat up a student in California gets staggering amount of donations in 3 days
Marston Riley, 64, fought a disrespectful student in class (Image Source: Facebook/ Marston Riley)
The recent viral video that showed a teacher beating up a student has swept social media. Marston Riley, 64, has been a music and band director at Maywood Academy High School in Maywood, California, for many years. Last week, he was the target of an unprovoked verbal and physical assault by a student at the school. After calling for assistance and ordering the student to leave, Riley reached his breaking point and fought back against the bullying student.
It has since been reported by news outlet KTLA that the student who attacked Riley and others in the classroom planned the incident. That is why many students are seen in the video with their cameras out ready to take in the action. While there is no word on what will happen to the student, the encounter led to the arrest of Riley and the possible conclusion of his career as a teacher. But many parents, students and other supporters are coming to Riley’s assistance in a big way.
A GoFundMe campaign was launched earlier this week named For Mr. Riley /Teachers Deserve Respect, and has so far raised $137,886 in three days, exceeding its $50K goal. Riley is facing charges of suspicion of child abuse and causing great bodily injury on a child and is facing mounting legal fees. This was not the first time that Riley has been attacked by students. Last year, when he caught three teens skipping class, the students turned on him and beat him viciously.
Mr. Riley’s next scheduled court date is November 30, 2018, where he will be arraigned on the charges.
Khloe Kardashian Still Struggling With Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Habits, But “Wants To Do What’s Best for Them!”
Just days after Khloe Kardashian relived the traumatizing details of Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal, the reality star is no longer focused on repairing the relationship with Thompson.
Instead, her main priority is making sure baby True feels love and support from both her parents, since she’s still struggling to get over his cheating habits.
“Dealing with Tristan’s cheating has been very difficult for Khloe,” a source told PEOPLE. “When they have had good moments, she forgets about how hurt she got, but then when she gets reminded, she still gets upset.”
“On the outside, she acts all tough, but it still gets to her. But what it comes down to is that Khloe wants True to grow up in a family with both parents,” the source continued. “She wants True to spend as much time with her dad as possible. She believes that True needs a mom and dad in her life.”
But, according to the publication, she knows it will all take time, and she’s okay with that.
“Khloe hates when people have opinions about her relationship with Tristan. She feels that she doesn’t need to explain to people why she makes certain decisions,” the source added. “It’s obvious there are issues, though. She doesn’t define her relationship with Tristan – she only talks about him as “True’s dad.”
Since True’s birth, Khloe had been trying to work things out with her baller baby daddy, as the three spent the summer together as a family. But, according to the publication, in recent weeks, the two hit another rough patch, with Khloe still harboring a “lot of hurt and anger.”
“Khloe wants so badly for True to have a happy family,” the source said. ‘She wants to do what’s best for her daughter, and to her, that means being with Tristan.”
MSNBC Host Joy Reid Denies Defaming Trump Supporter with Accusations of Racism
MSNBC host Joy Reid is demanding a lawsuit accusing her of defaming a Donald Trump supporter, by reporting the woman shouted racist things at a teenager, be dismissed.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Reid is seeking to have the suit thrown out of court and for the plaintiff, Roslyn La Liberte, ordered to pay her attorney’s bill.
The MSNBC host says La Liberte is an “anti-immigration activist” who attended a council meeting in Simi Valley back in June 2018.
Reid says another attendee, Alan Vargas, tweeted a photo of La Liberte and accused the woman of shouting racist comments at a teenager in attendance. Reid says that tweet went viral and was reposted by numerous celebrities and journalists. She says many people identified La Liberte in their reposting of the story but Reid says she did not refer to La Liberte by name.
Reid points out the woman has decided not to sue any other journalist or celebrity.
Joy Reid believes the woman will attempt to argue that she was the one who accused her of the racist comments, but the host says the original tweet from Vargas was the source … NOT her.
She is demanding the entire case be dismissed.
As The Blast first reported, La Liberte sued Reid claiming she used “her substantial social media presence, fame, and reputation as a hard-hitting journalist” to publish to her followers that La Liberte “screamed abhorrent racial slurs” at a 14-year-old boy.
La Liberte claims the viral photo – which showed her in a MAGA hat appearing to a scream at the boy — was completely misinterpreted and the two actually had a “civil” interaction which ended with them hugging. The teenager gave an interview with local news after the incident, saying that La Liberte “was still trying to keep it civil, which I appreciate.”
According to La Liberte, Joy Reid claimed on social media that she “showed up ‘to a rally’ and ‘screamed’ at a young man of fourteen (14) years that he is ‘going to be the first deported . . . dirty Mexican!’”
La Liberte believes Reid’s comments “were also born out of her personal animus and dislike of President Donald Trump, the Republican Party, and supporters of each, including those wearing MAGA hats.”
As a result of Reid’s statements, La Liberte claims she received “hundreds if not thousands of hate messages” and death threats.
Reid apologized on Twitter and deleted her previous posts but La Liberte wasn’t satisfied and sued Reid for defamation and seeking damages in excess of $75,000.
The case is ongoing.
Man Who Allegedly Shot and Killed Angela Simmons’ Ex, Sutton Tennyson, Turns Himself in, Charged
Just days after news surfaced of the murder of Sutton Tennyson, the father of #AngelaSimmons’ child, the man who allegedly pulled the trigger has turned himself in. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to TMZ, legal representation for Michael Williams says he turned himself in on Wednesday and has been charged with murder, but he says Williams denies that he shot and killed Tennyson in his home over the weekend.
Officials say Tennyson was found in his garage with multiple gunshot wounds after a conversation with a man in his driveway turned violent. Shots were fired, and the suspect reportedly fled in a car.
Upon learning the news, Simmons took to Instagram to mourn the loss of her son’s father, saying, “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”
In the meantime, Williams has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, in addition to murder.
