#RHOA' Fight of the Night: Shereé Goes Off on Party Planner -- 'I Am Beyond Pissed'
"I'm sitting here about to tear the f-ck up because I'm not happy," Shereé says on Sunday's "Real Housewives of Atlanta."
It was Shereé Whitfield versus Tiffany the party planner on Sunday night's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
Shereé decided to throw her mother, Thelma, a '70s themed party for her 70th birthday, but her party planner canceled on her an hour and a half before the festivities were supposed to begin.
Shereé and her daughter, Tierra, were busy setting up decorations at Chateau Shereé when Tierra noticed that they were "doing the work that the party planner was supposed to be doing." After Shereé made a few very professional phone calls inquiring about Tiffany’s whereabouts and the status of the linens, Tiffany sent Shereé a text that read, "Unfortunately, there seems to be some tension that has turned into a situation that is not aligned with my business practices, so I will not be in attendance. Here's the address where the linens can be picked up. Someone is there waiting. Good luck with the event."

Needless to say, both Shereé and her daughter were livid.
"Tiffany, when I say I am beyond pissed off and disappointed," Shereé said in a heated voicemail she left for Tiffany. "I just got your text message. I'm not happy. Today is my mother's birthday beyond everything else. I'm sitting here about to tear the f-ck up because I'm not happy. I'm not happy that you would do this to my mother. The stuff that I paid for -- just drop that stuff off."

"That bitch ain’t never coming in this motherf-cker again if she doesn't bring that shit! I'm not f-cking playing. Are you kidding me!? Get this off me," Shereé said, demanding that producers take off her mic.
The party turned out just fine, and all the ladies -- including Thelma -- had a blast.

Shereé told Bravo cams after all was said and done, "I think that Tiffany felt like we were trying to throw her under the bus. We didn't throw you under the bus. Bitch, you threw yourself under the bus! By now, every party planner in Atlanta should know not to mess with Ms. Whitfield."

#EMPIRE: Taye Diggs & Terrell Carter Talk ‘Empire’ Season 4 with The Knockturnal!
(Courtesy of The Knockturnal) This season Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winning actor, director and producer Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland, Arrival, Lee Daniels’ The Butler) will guest-star in a multi-episode arc on Empire, beginning this fall on FOX. Whitaker will play “Uncle Eddie,” a charismatic music icon and bonafide hitmaker, who gave an unknown Lucious (Terrence Howard) his first radio airplay. Decades later, Eddie steps up for Lucious at a critical moment during his rehabilitation, and a grateful Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) invites him to produce a song in celebration of Empire Entertainment’s 20th anniversary.

Returning this season is veteran actor Taye Diggs, who we caught up with about working with longtime friends Terrence & Taraji. Joining this season in a full-time capacity is newcomer Terrell Carter ,playing Jussie Smollett’s character Jamal’s love interest, and member of the Dubois family. Check out our interview after the jump.

The Knockturnal: Terrell, you are new to the crew. How are you adjusting?

Terrell Carter: Being in the Dubois family is the most amazing part to me. I’m able to work with people that have been in the business for years. The first day, it wasn’t like the first day of school for me, but it was, my gosh, I can’t believe the first day I’m working with them.

Taye Diggs: Were you nervous?

Terrell Carter: I was nervous. I wasn’t nervous at first. This is when I became nervous, before they said, “Action.” Phylicia Rashad … Her first line was to me. She just stared me right in my eyes to get ready for them to say, “Action.” I just kept going … I just kept looking down like, “Can you just look away?”

Taye Diggs: She’s such a powerful presence.

Terrell Carter: She is. In her everyday life just walking, just breathing, she is a powerful presence. Yeah, adjusting has been … It’s more surreal than even adjusting. It’s more of just an honor than trying to fit in.

The Knockturnal: I think I underestimated the Dubois family and I think from the season family you all are just getting started. What is going to be the most shocking for viewers this season when it comes to the family battle between the Dubois family and the Lyons?

Taye Diggs: I think how calculated this family is. I think, like you said, most people, they slept on us. This season you realize how deeply they were affected by what the Lyons did.

Terrell Carter: Yeah, because I think that they’re coming in ways that are not just stereotypical “he did this, she did this” … There are some things that when I read them in the script I just sit back like, “I cannot believe that they thought that this is what it’s going to be.” There are so many twists that you’re going to see. There are some things that even happen with my character and Jamal that I couldn’t believe.

#NEWMUSIC from Miguel “Pineapple Skies”
Miguel drops a feel-good winner in the form of “Pineapple Skies,” the latest single from his upcoming album, ‘War & Leisure.’
On the two-step beat, mudded with soft strings, electric guitar, and a funky bassline, the R&B crooner mesmerizes with his intoxicating and lush melodies as he sings about a higher love.

“Pineapple Skies,” which Miguel previewed back in July (2017) on Snoop Dogg’s “GGN” series, follows the previously released offerings “Sky Walker,” “Shockandawe,” and, “Told You So.”

Miguel’s upcoming album, War & Leisure, due out Dec. 1, follows 2015’s Wildheart, and was inspired by the current political climate.

LISTEN HERE

“This album is intentionally about the ethos right now, that we are right in the middle of all this,” Miguel recently told Billboard. “We’re trying to flourish in the middle of all this. We all wake up, and it’s time to be creative and amazing and positive and all the things that we’re supposed to be when you look on Instagram, but then we’re dealing with these same problems, this injustice, wars between politicians with egos. Like, 140 characters are going to get us into a war right now?”

#HIPHOPNEWS: Drake Calls For Meek Mill's Freedom
It may have taken Meek Mill going to prison to finally squash his beef with Drake. During a show in Melbourne, Australia, Drizzy moved past his much-publicized beef with Meek with a message of support for his incarcerated rival.

“I see you got the ‘Free Meek Mill’ T-shirt,” he told an audience member. “Free Meek Mill too. You right.”

Meek has received an outpouring of support from fellow Hip Hop artists after he was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating his probation. JAY-Z is arguably the most prominent critic of Meek’s sentencing, penning an op-ed about it for the New York Times.

#INMEMORIAM: Della Reese, 'Touched By An Angel' Star And Singer, Dies At 86
Della Reese, a performer and pastor best known for her starring role on the CBS spiritual drama Touched by an Angel, has died at 86.
"Her signature television role came late in life," NPR's Eric Deggans reported. "Reese already had been famous for decades as a gospel-influenced R&B performer, TV guest star and talk show fixture."
Her husband Franklin Lett released a statement through her Touched by an Angel costar Roma Downey, saying that Reese "has passed away peacefully at her California home surrounded by love."

Downey added, "I know heaven has a brand new angel this day."

Reese, who was born Delloreese Patricia Early in Detroit, started singing in church when she was six. She told NPR in 2003 that she was recruited by gospel legend Mahalia Jackson to tour with her at the age of 12.

"My mother took Mahalia aside and looked into her eyes and said, `I've got a good child here. I wouldn't let her go off with everybody, but I trust you. I know you're a woman of God and I'm expecting you to bring me back a better child than I'm sending away with you,'" Reese told the Tavis Smiley Show.

From there, her songs climbed pop charts, such as "Don't You Know," which is adapted from an aria from the opera La Boheme. As Eric reports:

"Her dignified image led to mainstream stardom. She was on The Ed Sullivan Show 18 times in one year. She also became the first black woman to host her own syndicated variety series and the first black woman to guest host Johnny Carson's Tonight Show.
"It was on the set of that show in 1979 that she suffered a brain aneurysm; a near-death experience that inspired her to become an ordained minister."
Her own show, Della, was on air for one season in 1969-70 with nearly 200 episodes, The New York Times reported, with guests including "George Burns, Ike and Tina Turner, Little Richard, Steve Allen, Tony Bennett, Ethel Waters and Gypsy Rose Lee."
In Touched by an Angel, Reese plays Tess, a sarcastic angel boss who is a maternal figure to Downey's apprentice guardian angel. "No one played the down to earth, worldly mother figure like Della Reese," Eric adds.
The show was a hit, and ran for nine years "telling stories of God's impact in everyday life," Eric says. "People need something to help them with their lives. In the show, we didn't tell you what to do, we said, 'did you ever think about it like this?'" Reese said, as Eric reports.

Reese also sang the show's theme song, "Walk with You."
As an ordained minister, Reese founded a church called the Understanding Principles for Better Living Church out of her living room. The church's website recounts that from an original eight members, the church soon outgrew her living room. As the Times reported, "she delivered Sunday services there for many years."

#SPORTSNEWS: Terry Glenn, former NFL wide receiver, dies in car accident in Texas
Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn has died after getting into a car accident Monday morning in Irving, Texas, according to police. He was 43.
The Irving Police Department said the crash occurred at 12:18 a.m. local time after Glenn, who was driving the car accompanied by a passenger, traveled off the eastbound lane at the 700 block of Highway 114 and crashed into a concrete barrier dividing the express lane from local lanes.

Glenn was ejected from the car and taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, where he died at 12:52 a.m., according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office.

Police did not identify the passenger, who suffered minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Glenn, who played for the Patriots, Packers and Cowboys over a 12-year NFL career, reportedly leaves behind a fiancee and five children.

"I am truly heartbroken by the news of Terry Glenn's tragic death," said Glenn's former agent Jimmy Gould, per ESPN. "Terry was like a son to me and was not only a truly gifted athlete, but a remarkable young man who fought courageously against adversity from a young age to raise a family and help others. In speaking with his favorite Coach, Bill Parcells and many of his former OSU teammates, his sudden death at such a young age has left all of us terribly saddened."

Glenn played under Parcells in both New England and Dallas and became the subject of the famed coach’s criticism after the Patriots drafted him with their No. 7 overall pick in 1996, despite Parcell's objection. When Glenn was slow to recover from an injury in his first NFL training camp, Parcells mocked the rookie receiver by saying, “She’ll be alright.”

After making the Ohio State team as a walk-on, the Columbus native spent six seasons in New England, helping the Patriots advance to the Super Bowl during the 1996 season before earning Pro-Bowl honors in 1999.
Glenn, who caught Tom Brady's first touchdown pass in 2001, was traded to Green Bay following an offseason arrest for domestic assault, a suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy, and disputes with Bill Belichick.

After one year with the Packers, Glenn was dealt to Cowboys, where he ended his NFL career following a five-year stint in Dallas. He finished with 593 total catches for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns, tallying over 1,000 receiving yards four times.
"Deep down inside, he was a good person with good intentions and a good heart," Belichick said Monday, according toNESN. "It's a sad day."

Added Dallas owner Jerry Jones: "Terry was someone that we all enjoyed very much in his time with the Cowboys. He was a gentle and kind hearted young man. We are all terribly saddened by this news of his passing. Too young and too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his loved ones and all of the people who were touched by his life."

Lady Gaga’s Fiance Christian Carino Has a Giant Tattoo of Her Face
Inked up! Lady Gaga’s fiancé, Christian Carino, has a big tattoo of the “Born This Way” singer on his arm,
Carino’s tattoo is just under his shoulder and is a picture of Gaga’s face with high, long pigtails. A source confirms to Us Weekly that the tattoo, which went viral on a Gaga fan account, is real.

GaGa  the six-time Grammy winner, 31, is engaged to the CAA talent agent, 48. A source revealed Carino popped the question over the summer after he asked for Gaga’s father’s permission.
The source adds that due to Gaga’s current health, the duo is focused on her recovery and don’t have any wedding plans yet.

As previously reported, the A Star Is Born actress suffers from fibromyalgia, and has been open with her fans about her chronic pain. Gaga, who postponed the European leg of her Joanne world tour due to the pain, tweeted in September, she was “gettin’ stronger everyday.”
Gaga blushed and played coy when Ryan Seacrest asked about her love life during a February interview.
“I don’t know! You know I don’t talk about my love life, Ryan!” Gaga said at the time. “I’m really red. I’m really red, and it doesn’t go with my outfit.”
Gaga was previously engaged to her boyfriend of five years, Taylor Kinney. They split in July 2016. Carino was previously linked to The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan.
