The 2016 Grammy Awards Tap LL Cool J For Hosting Duties
Dusting off his master of ceremonies skills, LL Cool J will host the 2016 Grammy Awards on February 15th, 2016 at 8:00pm on CBS.
Recording Academy President Neil Portnow told press, "We are delighted to welcome back the very talented LL Cool J as our host for the 58th Grammys. His unique expertise, both as a Grammy-winning recording artist and accomplished actor, allows him to connect with both his musical peers and the fans at home, and his dynamic personality and charismatic energy set the perfect tone for our show."
Mr. Cool J also noted, "The performances and moments that take place on the Grammy stage are awesome in so many ways for the audience and artists alike. I'm honored once again to host Music's Biggest Night as we celebrate the talented music creators of today. It's going to be an incredible night and I'm excited to share this experience with the world."

Taraji, Jussie & Yazz Salute & Perform For Troops On USO Tour
The “Empire” is currently taking over Japan on a week-long USO tour in Japan. Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray are spreading good “Lyon” cheer overseas for the troops for the holidays.
The threesome took time out their schedules to visit hundreds of sailors, airmen and military families stationed at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Yokota Air Base and Misawa Air Base. Nice!

#RhoA: Cynthia Bailey to Kim Fields: GIRL CHILL AND HAVE SOME FUN!
Sunday on Real Housewives of Atlanta, the focused shifted off of Cynthia Bailey and on to Sheree Whitfield and Kim Fields. Still, Cynthia took to her blog to share her thoughts on this week’s episode, which focused on Sheree‘s history with Tammy and Kim‘s separation anxiety and dislike of Kenya Moore.
About the trip to Miami, Cynthia shared, “I was very excited about the girls’ trip do over. Especially in Miami! I was looking forward to putting all the Lake Lanier drama behind me. It was really thoughtful of Kenya to go out of her way to plan the Lake Lanier outing, on my behalf, to lift my spirits. A “do over” with Kenya and Porsha planning it together (after everything they have been through) was confirmation for me that Porsha and I could move our relationship forward in a positive direction. I welcomed the opportunity.”
And just like that, Cynthia fades into the background, where she works best in my opinion. Now I just need Tammy and Shamea to disappear, but I digress…
“In my opinion, the issues between Tammy and Sheree were so old they could easily have been squashed in a grown ‘woman-to-woman’ conversation,” surmised Cynthia. “Not to mention that Sheree and Bob have moved on and are not even together anymore. I felt like Tammy unfairly judged Sheree without really knowing her, and only had one side of the story. As I said at dinner, I think Tammy was just coming from a place of protection for her friend.”
As for Kim’s separation anxiety, Cynthia thinks Kim needs some “Kim Time.”
“My family is my world, and my first priority. However, I agree with Phaedra that you don’t want to lose yourself in motherhood and marriage,” said Cynthia. “As a mother and a wife myself, I love me some “Cynthia Time” to balance, refresh, and reboot. It doesn’t mean that I love my family any less. I have nothing but respect for Kim and her marriage. I just thought the trip was a great opportunity for her to kick back, relax, and have some fun. It was sad to see her upset.”

OH NO! Azealia Banks Arrested For BITING Female Security Guard’s BOOB!
Around midnight on Wednesday, the Harlem rap star headed to Manhattan hotspot Up & Down for some fun. But, fun was NOT on the agenda. Once the 24-year-old rapper got inside the venue, she tried to crash an invite-only party that was going on downstairs for the club’s owner Ronnie Madra. Apparently, you needed a stamp to get in the party and Azealia didn’t have one. That’s when ish went TOTALLY left.
Sources tell PageSix, Azealia started cursing and screaming (at one point hurling racial slurs) to the top of her lungs at a female and male security guard to get in. One person said Azealia was yelling about beng on Rihanna’s new album, as if to solidify her celeb status. The source said, “Once she was 15 feet inside, she starts to curse the guards again, explaining who she was, that she’s on Rihanna’s album.”

Security then approached the “Yung Rapunxel” rapper and that’s when she allegedly SPIT in the female bouncer’s face! Bish whet?!
Chick was promptly escorted out the venue, but as they were removing her, this chick supposedly BIT the bouncer’s breast almost tearing her shirt! Once outside, she yelled she was going to call the cops. A NYPD Traffic Enforcement cop was called over and a strange turn of events ensued.
Azealia allegedly decides to PUNCH the female bouncer in FRONT of the police officer. Of course, they arrested her and as they were putting the cuffs on her she was allegedly screaming “Why are you arresting me?”
She was then taken to the Sixth Precint on misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault and was held there for evaluation before being arraigned and released.
The NY District Attorney and police sources say the bouncer’s boob got really swollen and red, but she refused medical attention. May not be one of her smartest moves.
It's obvious 2015 hasn’t been a good year for the Broke With Expensive Taste rapper. Back in September, she was caught on camera in a verbal altercation (where she hurled homophobic slurs) on a Delta flight. Then in October, she was involved in an alleged assault on a security guard at Break Room 86 in L.A. Sighs...

First Look: Natalie Portman As Jacqueline Kennedy In “Jackie”
Her range as an actress has always been impressive, and Natalie Portman has once again outdone herself in a new preview image from “Jackie,” a forthcoming biopic about Jacqueline Kennedy.
Slated to hit theaters in 2017, the Pablo Larrain-directed project is said to center on the days immediately following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy back in 1963.
“Jackie” also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Greta Gerwig and Max Casella, though it looks like Natalie could carry this one on her own if she needed to.

DAMN HOMIE: Meek Mill Found Guilty of Parole Violations, Sentencing Scheduled for February
The judge ruled that Meek DID violate his probation and is to be sentenced on February 5th.
Her ruling comes after an emotional hour-long testimony in which Meek declared, “I have my queen, Nicki now. I’m trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper alive.” Meek also apologized to the D.A. for not calling her a “bitch” in the song “The Ride.”
Unfortunately that wasn’t enough and he now faces jail time come February.
THE SAN BERNARDINO SHOOTER'S NEIGHBOR ARRESTED ON TERROR CHARGES
Enrique Marquez, a neighbor and friend of one of the San Bernardino shooters, has been arrested for allegedly providing material support to terrorists, officials said.
Authorities said that Marquez and shooter Syed Farook allegedly began plotting terror attacks in Southern California in 2011 -- "attacks which were, fortunately, not carried out -- and discussed a firearms and explosives attack on Riverside Community College.
"While there currently is no evidence that Mr. Marquez participated in the Dec. 2, 2015 attack or had advance knowledge of it, his prior purchase of the firearms and ongoing failure to warn authorities about Farook's intent to commit mass murder had fatal consequences," said U.S. Attorney Eileen M. Decker of the Central District of California.
During a court appearance Thursday, Marquez said that he understood the charges against him and is scheduled for a bail hearing at 2 p.m. Monday. His lawyer did not immediately comment and he did not enter a plea.
Farook's attack on the Inland Regional Center, committed along with his wife Tashfeen Malik, left 14 people dead and another 22 injured. The FBI was investigating the incident as an act of terrorism.
According to authorities, Marquez illegally purchased the two "assault rifles" that were used in the massacre along with a pair of hand guns. He also allegedly bought smokeless powder to make explosives in 2012 and went to firing ranges in Riverside and Los Angeles to practice.
Contact between the two men declined in 2013 and they ceased planning attacks, Marquez allegedly told authorities.
The earlier planned attacks, which the men never ended up carrying out, were allegedly going to be centered around either a library or cafeteria at the Riverside Community College, which both Marquez and Farook attended, and specific lanes of a major highway during rush hour, the Department of Justice said today.
"The plan was for Farook to throw pipe bombs on to the freeway, which they believed would disable vehicles and stop traffic," authorities said in their release. "Farook allegedly planned to then move among stopped vehicles, shooting into them, while Marquez shot into vehicles from a position on a nearby hillside. Marquez allegedly said that he would watch for law enforcement and emergency vehicles, and his priority was to shoot law enforcement before shooting life-saving personnel."
Officials also accused him of "defrauding immigration authorities by entering into a sham marriage with a member of Farook's family." The marriage in question was Marquez's marriage to "a member of Farook's extended family so that she could obtain legal status in the United States," the Department of Justice press release stated. In return for agreeing to the marriage, Marquez was paid $200 per month.
Officials have said they believe one of the San Bernardino gunmen, Syed Rizwan Farook, asked Marquez to buy the two "assault-style" rifles back in late 2011 or early 2012.
In a Facebook posting from Marquez's profile just hours after the attack, he said, "I'm. Very sorry sguys. It was a pleasure."[sic]
The FBI has questioned Marquez and he has provided the agency with information not previously known, federal officials said earlier this month.
"He's continued to cooperate with investigators since they got ahold of him," a counter terrorism official familiar with the investigation told ABC News.
Farook and Malik were killed in a shootout with police shortly after the initial attack at the Inland Regional Center.
Marquez's mother and brothers declined earlier this month to discuss the investigation, but friends of Marquez told ABC News he is a "great guy." Viviana Ramirez, who went to school with Marquez, said she thought it was a joke when she heard his name linked to the San Bernardino tragedy.
