Janet Jackson & Husband Wissam Al Mana Visit Kids At The UNICEF Zaatari Refugee Camp
Janet Jackson and her husband Wissam Al Mana made a rare public appearance this week, visiting children at a refugee camp in Jordan. Much like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow or unicorns, recent sightings of Janet Jackson have become the stuff of legend. We see her so infrequently that the world nearly stops everytime we hear there's a new picture And we've always got 50 questions....
What we can tell you is that Janet (who is looking fresh faced and goge as usual) and her fabulously wealthy husband Wissam Al Mana use their time and resources to improves the lives of others. You'll recall that last time we saw Miss Jackson she was raising money for AmFAR. This week, she and Wissaam took pictures hugging, and playing with kids at Zaatari, a refugee camp in Jordan. Janet posted the photos on her Facebook page with the caption, "With UNICEF Zaatari Camp. Syria’s beautiful children. Their openness and love... so wonderful. Wissam and Janet."
It's worth it to note that Rhythm Nation 1814, Janet's socio-political album, was released 25 years ago and the social issues she tackled remain current. It's great to see that her charity work was never a "fad" and she continues to give back.
Sony Hackers Won: ‘The Interview’ Has Been Dropped From All Major Theater Chains in America
Not coming as a surprise investigators have revealed that hackers working for North Korea were behind the Sony attack, U.S. law enforcement sources say. It appears that the Sony Hacker’s are getting their wish and the movie “The Interview has been dropped from all major theaters in the USA… The biggest movie theater chains in the United States have cancelled all plans to show The Interview following threats to attack screenings of the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The three largest chains in the US — AMC, Regal, and Cinemark — are reported to have called off screenings for the movie, as has Cineplex, the largest chain in Canada. While Sony has not officially cancelled release of The Interview, its availability only at small theater chains means that it will be unwatchable for many potential viewers.

Ashanti’s Mother Takes Stand Against Stalker
Ashanti’s mother is came face-to-face with the man accused of stalking the singer.
Check out the details: The “New York Post’s” “Page Six” reports that the Ashanti‘s mom, Tina Douglas, took the witness stand in New York Tuesday in the trial against Devar Hurd, who is accused of violating a restraining order to stay away from Ashanti and her family . Acting as his own attorney, Hurd questioned Douglas and seemed to blame her for allowing Ashanti’s sister, Kenashia, to take a photo with him at a party. Douglas said Kenashia had no clue she was posing with her sister’s stalker, but he demanded that Douglas explain why she hadn’t made her “more strongly aware” of who he was. During his questioning, Hurd also seemed to get defensive at Douglas’ testimony. At that point the judge stepped in and warned Hurd that his advising lawyer would be forced to take over if he continued to argue with Douglas.
Hurd was convicted of sending lewd photos to Ashanti and her mom in 2010.

Over the weekend, Nicki stopped by SiriusXM’s Shade 45 studio to discuss her thoughts on the rivalry between her pals Lil Wayne and Birdman. "We're good. Love conquers all. Somewhere in California, actress Tasha Smith is singing "Cheaper To Keep [Him]". A few weeks ago, we told you about Tasha and her estranged hubby Keith Douglas filing dueling restraining orders (all while living in the same house) and now their nasty split is eating into Tasha's pocketbook.
Between movie star Tasha and Keith, The Why Did I Get Married? star was the family breadwinner (a la Sherri Shepherd). But now that they've split, Keith still needs to eat. So...the judge made Tasha cut him a check for $50K (in something like pre-spousal support). The couple is expected in court next month, where a permanent support agreement will be made.

Bobby Shmurda Was Arrested In NYC After NYPD Investigation!
Shmoney Dance creator Bobby Shmurda has been arrested outside of a popular studio in NYC! Apparently, the rapper was a part of a NYPD investigation involving drug trafficking and shootings!
It seems rapper Bobby Shmurda has the HARDEST time avoiding the law! The young New Yorker was arrested during a sting operation involving drugs and various shootings. The investigation was being conducted by the NYPD and a special narcotics prosecutor.
It has not been announced what Shmurda will be charged with, but his arraignment is will be today! The Shmoney Dance creator was arrested back in October for smoking weed with buddies while being double parked, and then back in June for possession of a weapon!

Back Together Again: Floetry Hits The Stage For Surprise Performance In London
Awwwwww, Reunited, Marsha Ambrosius was tapped for a performance in London’s Clapham Grand for her “Friends and Lovers” tour stop. The songstress then surprised fans by bringing her for former bandmate/spoken word artist Natalie Stewart!
The dynamic duo performed a few of their hits before screaming fans, including their infectious “Say Yes” and closed the show with their 2002 hit single, “Floetic”.
This is huge considering the Grammy-nominated group broke up back in 2007 to pursue solo careers. Neither of the two have found substantial success (but Marsha has definitely released some amazing music and accumulated some die hard fans) and we personally like them together, so concertgoers were in for a real treat.
Marsha teased there would be special guests joining her on stage during her tour, but no one had any idea there would be a Floetry reunion.

Robin Williams’ Son Shares Ongoing Mourning
He was one of the most beloved actors of all time, and the late Robin Williams' family is struggling with his death four months later. The “Good Will Hunting” star’s son Zak Williams told People magazine that things haven’t gotten much easier with the passage of time.
"I miss him all the time. Often I see something or if I'm watching a film, I think 'Oh, man, he would have appreciated this' or 'He would have gotten a laugh out of this.'"
Zak added, "There's not a day that goes by that we don't think about our dad. The key thing is just to take things a step at a time. I know it sounds a little clichéd, but really focusing on what's in front of you, focusing on your well-being and then trying to fill our hearts so we can be there for others is really important."
Meanwhile, Robin’s “Night at the Museum” costar Ben Stiller recently remarked, "I remember when the first movie happened, and [director] Shawn [Levy] said he wanted to ask Robin to play Teddy Roosevelt. I was like, ‘That's the most brilliant idea in the world. We can't do the movie if he doesn't say yes.'"
New Music: Ne-Yo “Coming With You” & “Religious”
Ne-Yo‘s Non-Fiction album is due for release in January, and as he gears up for its arrival, the “She Knows” crooner drops two new songs – “Coming With You” and “Religious.”
Recently, while chatting about the LP, he revealed that each song tells a story (that are based on true stories) – some his, and some his fans:
The name of the album is Non-Fiction. And, I’m calling it that because the name of every song on this album is derived from a true story. Now, some of the stories are mine. Some of the stories belong to some of my fans. I actually reached out via Instagram, Twitter or whatever the case may be, and I’ve focused this on my fans. Things that are going on in their love life, things going on in their personal life and I wrote a song about it. From all these true stories I put together a story that’s not true. But, in that, it’s derived from true stories that’s why I’m calling it Non-Fiction.
He has unveiled the artwork for the album, arriving January 27 (see above), as well as the tracklisting.

San Francisco 49er Ray McDonald Questioned For Sexual Assault, Gets Cut From Team
For the second time in less than a year, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Ray McDonald has found himself the center of police investigation. Unlike last time however, a domestic dispute with his fiancée would be a welcomed ordeal. McDonald is being probed for potential sexual assault charge and guilty or not, the current predicament has cost him his job.

Northern California authorities said Wednesday that they are investigating San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald on suspicion of sexual assault.
San Jose Police Department Sgt. Heather Randol said detectives searched McDonald’s San Jose home.
“The victim alleged she was possibly sexually assaulted a day prior,” Randol said. “Based on preliminary investigation, detectives secured a search warrant and served it at the alleged suspect’s residence in San Jose.”
Randol didn’t immediately respond to follow up questions seeking to clarify the reference to the alleged victim saying she was “possibly sexually assaulted.”
No arrests have been made or charges filed.
McDonald could not be immediately reached for comment. San Francisco 49ers spokesman Dan Beckler didn’t immediately return a phone call.
Following the reports, the 49ers had seen enough off-the-field yellow flags and decided to release McDonald from the team. It’s been a year of infamy for the NFL and the 49ers organization didn’t want any additional drama outside their dismal .500 record.
“This is about a pattern of poor behavior,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke told ESPN and the Associated Press. “We expect a lot from our players, hold them accountable for their actions.” Quarterback Colin Kaepernick also chimed in saying, “It’s not a situation you want to hear about. Very unfortunate,” quarterback Colin Kaepernick said. “He’s a good friend to a lot of people on this team. No one thought bad of him. Hopefully it’s just a misunderstanding. … I understand why the team did what it did. Other than that, it’s not my business.”
McDonald was scheduled to make $3.5 million before the incidents began to occur and saw a drastic reduction in salary to just $855,000. Now he’s in the unemployment line. These NFL players just love flushing money down the toilet, apparently.

Lupita Nyong'o & David Oyelowo Sign On For “Americanah” Adaptation
Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o is reuniting with her 12 Years A Slave co-star Brad Pitt to produce the indie drama Americanah, an adaptation of feminist author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's novel of the same name. Lupita has the film rights to the novel and is putting it all to good use.
The film tells the story of young Nigerian immigrants who face a lifetime of struggle while their relationship endures. Selma star David Oyelowo, who's winning rave reviews for his portrayal of Dr. Martin Luther King, has been cast to star opposite Lupita. Nice!
Chad Johnson Leaves a Huge Tip & Saves Someone’s Life
Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson is making headlines, and it has nothing to do with his performance on the field, or his crazy love affairs. This time it’s because he’s made a difference in the lives of two complete strangers!
Check out the details! Chad Johnson, better known as “OchoCinco” doesn’t always get the BEST press, but today he deserves all the good press he can get! The Bengal receiver left a hefty tip at a restaurant on Sunday. The bill was $350, but apparently the football star was feeling generous, and decided to leave a $300 tip. Johnson then tweeted a picture of the receipt with this caption:

As if that wasn’t enough, Chad managed to save the life of a young woman miles away after she saw his tweet. Planning to take her own life that very day, but touched by Chad’s kindness, the woman decided not to go through with the suicide. According to reports, the woman sent Chad a DM letting him know that he had inspired her. That simple act of kindness gave her hope that happiness can always be right around the corner when you least expect it.
This story is incredible. Kudos to Chad!

Ming Lee threw her official party for her employees, business colleagues, close clients, and very “close friend” Rick Ross.
Check out the details. Entreprenuer Ming Lee threw her official Christmas party celebrating the holidays and a wonderful year in business and success. The lavish party was held at The B Loft in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead. The night was full of music, tasty bites from Pretti Plates, and lots of fun.
For the last couple of years Ming Lee has been winning in the hair industry by making the lovely ladies of Atlanta look good and feel good. Ming Lee is the owner of Snob Life Studios a posh salon in the heart of downtown Atlanta. This lovely starlet was recently featured in Black Enterprise as a star in business. Ming Lee is always hosting charitable events to benefit Atlanta.
Also in the building was the love of her life rapper Rick Ross. The love affair is not confirmed and it has not be denied; but the smiles on their faces suggest that they are in LOVE.
Rick Ross is currently in stores and word on the street he’s working on a new movie. One of Rick’s homies told me to get ready for the Rozay ATL takeover.
