Prince's OFFICIAL 2014 Essence Magazine Cover
The legendary artist known as Prince is gracing the cover of the June 2014 issue of Essence,
Under a new agreement with his old label Warner Bros., Prince dished on whether he will work with his band The Revolution again and dealing with record label execs that who would rather take long vacations over working.
On working with The Revolution:
“I’m not putting down The Revolution, even though people would love to see us together again. I owe a great debt to them. But I’m doing something else...”
On record execs:
"Every time I talk to the heads of large companies, they're always at the beach," said Prince. "Middle of the afternoon. What are you doing? 'Oh, I'm at the beach with my kids.' So we're working to send their kids to college. And to the beach. We're not supposed to accept that."
Prince also released a statement recently, revealing he’s working on a new studio album saying,
"A brand new studio album is on the way and both Warner Bros. Records and Eye are quite pleased with the results of the negotiations and look forward to a fruitful working relationship," Prince said in a statement.
The Purple One will be headling at the 20th anniversary ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans for the 4th of July. Can't wait.
Simon Cowell Posts Adorable Pics Of Baby Son Eric Via Twitter
Though he tries to come off like a hardball Simon Cowell is a softy at heart, especially when it comes to his little boy.
The “Britain’s Got Talent” hunk snapped some shots of his three-month-old son Eric and uploaded them to Twitter for all of his fans to see.
Simon captioned one image, “Very handsome like his dad,” while another photo had the message, “My little boy Eric is healthy and happy.”
In a recent interview, Cowell credited his progeny with pulling him out of a serious depression. "Did a doctor say I was depressed? Yeah. I mean I knew it myself. You are always look for the next high from the show and then actually if you haven't got anyone to share it with per se, or if you haven't got a family around, you can go a bit nuts."
16-Year-Old Student Earns College Degree Before Graduating High School
High school prodigy Grace Bush allowed the determination instilled in her by her parents to push her to greatness before she was even able to legally drive a car.
Grace is the product of a nine children household and she just earned her college diploma before graduating high school. Kwasi Enin, eat your heart out.

“It's kind of weird that I graduated college before high school,” said Grace Bush.
The teen from Hollywood earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice Friday morning from Florida Atlantic University.
She did it with a 3.8 grade point average and completed the four-year degree in just three years.
“I started when I was 13 at Broward College and I also took my classes throughout the summer, so I was able to finish it before four years,” said Grace Bush.
Grace's parents wanted their nine children to earn college credit in high school because they can't afford to send all of their kids to college. Their mother, who home schooled all the kids knew early on, Grace had a knack for learning.
Florida Atlantic University's dual learning program made this all possible. Grace is also an accomplished musician for she plays the flute in not one, but two orchestras.
XXL Unveils 2014 Freshman Class and Controversy follows
The 2014 XXL Freshman Class has been revealed.
This year XXL chose Chance The Rapper, Isaiah Rashad, Ty Dolla Sign, Rich Homie Quan, Vic Mensa, August Alsina, Troy Ave, Kevin Gates, Lil Bibby, Jon Connor, Lil Durk, and Jarren Benton to grace the cover of their popular Freshman issue. But there was a bit of controversy. Not everybody was happy whih led the inevitable backlash happened Twitterwide, sparking hours of debate. Perhaps the most interesting argument was posed by sharp-witted MC Rapsody, who challenged the magazine's selection process in full.
She made note how was it possibly she was impactful enough for their recently released top 20 female rappers list but her buzz wasn't good enough for this year's crop, a statement back by her producer 9th Wonder.
Folks come out and Celebrate The "LAHH ATL" Premiere
Joseline Hernandez is back......and she's got a ring to show off. And when she's looking like the classiest one of the bunch, you already know what type of season this will be...
It you watched the LAHH ATL premiere Monday night (pat yourself on the back for being able to sit through the all out staged foolery), you saw that Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez bought an 18,000 sq ft mansion and made it official. They are now husband and wife.
The couple popped some bottles at the premiere party.
In the face of all the drama we saw play out last season, Kirk Frost and Rasheeda (the proud parents of baby boy Karter and a bus load of Kirk's other kids) stuck it out and are still together.
Rasheeda's looking good post-baby.
And the reality star/rapper posed with her newlywed bestie Kandi Burruss.
Rapper Bone Crusher was there.
Christina Johnson (Cee Lo Green's ex) and star of the "Atlanta Exes" came out to support.

Monica Lewinsky Corrects Beyoncé On Partition Lyrics
When Beyoncé dropped her surprise album everyone was blown away and emotional because the Kang finally released an album. When we heard Partition that was my favorite especially when she stated:
“He Monica Lewinskied all on my blouse”
Well Monica wanted to correct Beyoncé on something.

Everybody seems to be a fan–including former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, whose name was brought up in the song “Partition,” which naturally referenced the messy details of her 1998 affair with President Bill Clinton.
Now, Lewinsky is coming out of her London hiding to break the silence on the affair and to allow Mrs. Carter to get her semen-spewing facts right.
In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, the now 40-year-old Lewinsky saluted the superstar singer with the nod but still noted, “Thanks, Beyoncé, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.”
After being the butt of jokes for more than a decade, it should be expected that she would be able to make light of the situation.
Which, she explains her reasoning for breaking her silence.
The 2010 incident of a Rutgers freshman male committing suicide after being outed as homosexual aligned with her own story, as she too battled bouts of depression that edged her near the brink of taking her own life.
“[My mother] was reliving 1998, when she wouldn’t let me out of her sight,” she continued. “She was replaying those weeks when she stayed by my bed, night after night, because I, too, was suicidal. Apollo & Friends Were Stealing at The Reunion Show ?
This is really sad and pathetic, it appears that not only did Porsha get arrested, but someone in Apollos camp was arrested also for stealing items from Kenya and Miss Lawrence… Some tea came out today…. And let me tell you …. It is very juicy and I can see why Kenya’s demeanor changed when Part 3 aired.. She had a lot going on that day….. Read the tea inside.

First, my behind the scene sources are giving a few more clues about what was going on backstage while Andy and the girls were filming. I’m going to try and piece it together for you. I contacted my source because I was pretty skeeved out by Apollo’s behavior and actions. I had not used any of my chits (remember, I try not to pester the sources and get in and out with all the tea I can without interrogating them to death). I wanted to know what the dynamics were backstage with Phaedra and Apollo. I also wanted to know if he actually brought that jacket. LOL. Sorry. I know I ask about weird things.
So the jacket was Apollo’s and he was not forced to wear it like an underdressed male at a five-star restaurant. Which to me makes it even more odd. But before you laugh at me for wasting a question on the jacket and his bizarre clothing choice, my source made an interesting comment about Apollo’s behavior. I’m going to type the tidbits I got in black and my comments will be in purple from now on.
Apollo and Phaedra arrived in separate vehicles.
Because, I keep telling you these two spilt when Phaedra moved into that house. The backpack on the show was the major clue we had during the season. What grown man with no legal employment carries a backpack with him every time he leaves the house? One who lives someone else, that’s who. Remember him saying he had mail, “from the old place?” That’s where he lives. He visits the boys, takes them to lunch, with um, a friend etc.
When Apollo arrived, he brought a small posse. Apollo seemed…I think the word was erratic…or hyper. Apollo was hanging with his boys a lot behind the scenes to the exclusion of others as they filmed and got touchups etc. The group sort of roamed around behind the set and upstairs where the dressing rooms were, according to my source.
I suppose his urban chic attire was meant more to impress them than the cameras. It seems odd to me that he was allowed to bring a posse, I mean friends. Even the housewives are not allowed to bring in people other than their stylists and makeup people as I have understood it. Maybe he said their were his stylists. He does seem to live in a delusional world where he has a “brand” and “fans.” So anyway, Apollo had a glam squad or something.
After the physical attack on Kenya by Porsha, the police were called and an officer came to make a report. After some time filming resumed without Porsha. Several breaks were taken. Things were tense. Apollo was wandering around with his boys, the other husbands were there, the ladies returned to their dressing rooms. When Kenya and Lawrence arrived in her dressing room for a break in filming and more make-up spackling, and hair styling several items were missing. Lawrence’s bag was stolen with his wallet. Kenya’s carry-on luggage with her purse and laptop inside was also gone. Nothing was missing from any of the other rooms. The police were called again and the same officer responded that took the incident report on Porsha.
The source says that Kenya’s laptop was found by police. Some guy was trying to sell the laptop on the street and he had Lawrence’s ID.
So that is two people who got arrested for crimes against Kenya at the reunion. I forgot to say Apollo and them were the last to leave, LONG after Phaedra and the rest of the housewives got out of there. He just kept on hanging out according to my source. When I asked what he was doing there so late at night the source said he was just hanging out. Weird.
Phaedra boo, you are the company you keep and at the end of the day Apollo is making you look like a certified fool! I feel bad for Kenya, I mean, it just seems like the show is getting way too negative… I think Bravo need to let some people out of their contract…. Lawrence and Kenya better put an Extended Fraud Alert on their credit report, if they haven’t already. Think about it, Apollo is in trouble for identity theft.
Meet Dwyane Wade’s Infant Son, Xavier Zechariah Wade
Late last year, Dwyane Wade fathered a child while he was on a “break” from his fiancée, actress Gabrielle Union. The child’s mother, Aj Metoyer, was said to have known Wade “for many years.” Aja has two children from a relationship with Damon Wayans Jr.
News of his infant son, came on the heels of the 32-year-old’s engagement to the Being Mary Jane star. After the Heat’s game against the Denver Nuggets, D.Wade told the press:
I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy. [T]his is something that my family knows and my now fiancee worked through when we got back together, and understood that we wanted to continue our lives together and continue supporting our family and we’re going to do that.

V. Stiviano Being Investigated For Extorting Donald Sterling
V. Stiviano is under investigation for allegedly extorting Donald Sterling by demanding money in return for keeping more audio recordings secret.
Reports TMZ:
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a senior investigator for the L.A. County D.A.’s Bureau of Investigation contacted Shelly Sterling Tuesday … asking for an interview in connection with the extortion investigation.
Donald Sterling gave an interview last week … telling a magazine, “I wish I had just paid her off.”
TMZ Sports first reported … Stiviano claims to have 100 plus hours of recordings of conversations between her and Sterling.
Stiviano’s people told us a week ago … Sterling called her after we posted the audio … asking her, “How can we make this go away?” We have since learned it was NOT Sterling who initiated the call — it was Stiviano.
And we’ve learned the investigation is also focusing on whether Stiviano illegally recorded Sterling … recording private conversations without the consent of all parties is a crime in California.
We contacted Stiviano’s law firm about the extortion investigation, and we’re told, “We have no knowledge and therefore no comment.”
