THE KID PRESIDENT Gets His Own TV Show!
Kid President is getting his own T.V. show this summer. 10-year-old Robby Novak, known for his inspirational viral videos, will be featured on the family-friendly Hub Network (partnership with Hasbro + Discovery Networks) with a variety program called ‘Kid President: Declaration of Awesome.’
“I want the whole world to work together,” Kid President said in his YouTube announcement on Wednesday. “So it’s T.V., y’all.”
The 10-episode, 30-minute program will begin in June and be produced by the SoulPancake television company, which is owned by actor Rainn Wilson.
So far, ten episodes have been green lit starting in June and each show will run for 30 minutes, according to Crystal Williams, director of corporate communications for Hub Network. Actor Rainn Wilson’s company, SoulPancake Television, is producing the show…he’s the dude from NBC’s The Office.
“Kid President is all about getting kids and grown-ups to work together,” Wilson said. “This show is an amazing blend of humor and heart.”

Drew Barrymore And Ciara Compare Baby Bumps At Safe Kids Day
Stepping out for a cause near and dear to their hearts, Drew Barrymore and Ciara attended the Safe Kids Day event in West Hollywood.
The "50 First Dates" star showed off her baby bump in a blue button-down shirt and black pants while the "Body Party" singer chose a crisp white ensemble with bright red shoes.
According to the organization's website, "Preventable injuries are the #1 killer of kids in the U.S. and each year a million families around the world lose a child to these injuries." Safe Kids Day brings awareness to and seeks to prevent childhood injuries.
Checking out one of the exhibits at the event, Drew tweeted, "Got the chance to see what a kitchen looks like from a child's point of view at today's @safekidsusa event."
Native American Ice Grills Cleveland Indians Fan Dressed In Redface
With all the clamor revolving around the Washington Redskins to change their name due to the insensitivity towards Native Americans, the Cleveland Indians have ostensibly flown under the radar of national criticism.
Expect that change now that a photo of a ridiculously dressed Tribe fan--including an all-out redface makeover--has went viral as he comes within pupil eyeshot of a Native American whose facial expression literally said "scalp the white man."

Too Much, Too Little, Too Late? Pastor Mase & Wife Secretly In Nasty Divorce
Behind closed doors, there has been a battle brewing between rapper turned pastor Mase (real name Mason Durell Betha) and his wife Twyla. There have been recent reports that after 12 years of marriage, the couple were headed towards divorce.
Rapper Mase responded to reports saying that they were false, but it appears that’s not the case. According to TMZ, not only are they divorcing, it appears to be a bit messy. Reportedly, Mase initially filed for divorce, asking for the couple’s two children. A few weeks later, he dropped the divorce case.
Allegedly, the day after Mase filed in Atlanta, Twyla filed for legal separation in San Diego. In return, Mase filed asking for a full-blown divorce. Reportedly, in the legal documents filed by Mase, it indicated that they had been separated since 2012. So what’s the big deal? Apparently, the couple who were pastoring a church in Atlanta (El Elyon International Church) had been selling books about having a healthy marriage. The congregation and public may have been a bit mislead, thinking that they were happily married.
Meanwhile, both Mase and Twyla want full physical custody of their children. She also wants spousal and child support.
Positively Perfect Dolls Aims To Inspire Pride In Young Black Girls
Positively Perfect dolls, a new line of racially diverse toys from Dr. Lisa Williams, aims to inspire pride in young Black & Latino girls. As a counter to the wildly successful Barbie line of toys, the dolls are increasing in popularity across the nation.
Dr. Williams, who became the first Black person to earn a Ph.D. from Ohio University in 1992, went on to add more to her legacy by becoming the first Black woman to earn tenure as a professor from Kent State University.
After leaving academics, Dr. Williams then wrote her book Leading Beyond Excellence: Learn 7 Practical and Spiritual Steps to Spiral Yourself to the Top, which was sold in Wal-Mart stores prompting its executives to the author to pen a series of children's books.
The success of the books led the company to ask if Dr. Williams would create a line of dolls, something she initially approached with mild hesitation. However, seeing the dearth of Black baby dolls and watching a CNN television segment gave the doctor a boost.
“One little [black] girl broke my heart, she looked at the brown doll and said the doll was ugly. I cried, it broke my heart,” Williams said to The Grio for a feature piece . “For her to say something like that it shows you how deep those sentiments are in our culture.”
Dr. Williams acknowledged that she didn't have the expertise in doll-making. However, her desire to have Black and Latino girls represented correctly has morphed from a labor of love to an entire mission to show how Barbie dolls do not cater dolls to the diverse needs of the public.
“The features do not represent our features,” Williams said. “I start from scratch, I sketch them out. I know how those lips should look, I know how the brown of their eyes should be. I know about the fullness of the lips, the shape of the face, I know that because it's in my heart and in my vision and that's what differentiates our dolls from anyone else. So when people see them they see and feel that difference.”

Snooki announced today that her and her fiancee Jionni are expecting their second child. The reality star took to her website to confirm the news
I just wanted to write this blog regarding my second pregnancy. Unfortunately, like my first pregnancy, I decided to tell a select few people that we were expecting before the 3rd month mark, and it got leaked to certain media outlets. Again, it has happened with my second. I just want to say HOW THRILLED we are on expecting our second child and we couldn’t be any happier. But what sucks is how it’s never our business to tell anymore. It’s always certain media that decide to tell our wonderful news BEFORE we are ready. I get it, we are on a reality show and share 98% of our lives to our fans, but with this particular situation with expecting a child has to be announced from us personally, not by some tabloid headline trying to make a quick buck. It’s not that we want to keep it a secret, but we want to share our business at the right time. We want to make sure our testing is good and when we feel, as parents, is right to say we are expecting, that’s when we do so! Be sure that when I’m expecting my third child, I will not tell a soul for the privacy and protection of my family.
Headlines reading that I’m hiding my pregnancy because I don’t want to jeopardize “appearances” is so far from the truth. Who pulls this shit out of their ass anyway? Just because I’m pregnant means I can’t work? Fail.
I’ve read a lot of negativity concerning my second pregnancy, and I NEVER comment on what strangers think about my life, but when it concerns my family, something needs to be said. I’m a momma bear and I will stick up for my family until the day I die, and even after that.

The Game Is Being Investigated For Domestic Violence?
The Game is now the suspect in a felony domestic violence investigation … after allegedly beating up his former fiancee, according to sources, Game’s fiancee Tiffney Cambridge, filed a police report last weekend … Following a March 19th incident during which she claims Game attacked her. Cambridge told police the couple was having an argument and Game turned violent.
Sources close to Tiffney tell say, Game hit Tiffney repeatedly in the face, injuring her eye socket and breaking her nose. Law enforcement sources say police took photos of her face.
L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has launched a criminal investigation. It’s pretty obvious that he does lay hands on her, Tiffany reminds me of a battered woman, very conscious of all she says and does around him, careful not to upset his mean ass. Plus, he’s constantly hostile to women in general …
The Game is defending himself against the so-called “false accusations” of him abusing his former fiancee, Tiffney. Earlier we reported that Tiffney Cambridge allegedly filed a police report on March 19th regarding an incident during which she claims Game attacked her, Cambridge told police the couple was having an argument and Game turned violent. The Game took to social media to clear his name, the rapper posted a picture and the following message.
“I don’t want to give fuel to these false accusations, but the truth will definitely come out. I’m always looking out for my children’s safety and have never laid a hand on Tiffney. All I want is a chance to move on with my life & be allowed to be the father to my children I have been since their births. Judge me as you may, but do know.. my heart & my intentions are pure – The Game”

Janelle Monae Remakes “Heroes” For Pepsi’s New Global Campaign
For a celebration of music and football (soccer here in the U.S.), singer Janelle Monae has collaborated with Pepsi to recreate David Bowie’s iconic “Heroes.”
The “What Is Love” singer added her soulful spin on the 1977 single for Pepsi's global 2014 "Now Is What You Make It" campaign—which features a new series of shorts and a TV commercial that celebrate the game and music.
In the commercial, Janelle, alongside soccer players Robin van Persie, David Luiz, Sergio Agüero and Lionel Messi, will be featured on the streets of Rio De Janeiro (2014 World Cup host city) as they travel through a colorful, rhythmic journey uniting soccer, music and art.
The commercial will also feature interactive components, which will allow consumers to “CREATE THEIR OWN NOW” by unlocking additional content for a closer look into the lively streets of Rio.
“I love everything the film stands for. To me, it is all about that extraordinary burst of courage and passion which can embolden everyday people in a moment of spontaneity, which is also the message of David Bowie’s venerable song," said Monáe. “I was honored to join Pepsi for this campaign and remind people that now more than ever, we can all be heroes.”

Wu Tang Clan Offered $5 Million Dollars For Secret Album
Wu Tang announced that the group will get back together and will only be manufacturing “ONE” album and auction it off to the highest bidder.
According to LA Times:
“Offers came in at $2 million, somebody offered $5 million yesterday,” Wu-Tang’s de facto leader RZA told Billboard on Wednesday. “I’ve been getting a lot of emails: some from people I know, some from people I don’t know, and they’re also emailing other members of my organization.”
“So far, $5 million is the biggest number. I don’t know how to measure it, but it gives us an idea that what we’re doing is being understood by some,” RZA continued. “And there are some good peers of mine also, who are very high-ranking in the film business and the music business, sending me a lot of good will. It’s been real positive.”
The double album, which features the group’s original members, shouldn’t be confused with their long-gestating 20th anniversary release (that album, “A Better Tomorrow,” is set for June).
RZA’s vision for “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin” is to create a true, one-of-a-kind music experience.
Instead of rolling the album out via a record label and endless promotion, RZA is treating the 31-track album like a fine painting or sculpture. The album is housed inside an engraved silver-and-nickle box crafted by British-Moroccan artist Yahya. Just like a Monet or a Picasso, the plan is to display the album at museums and galleries, and take the album on a “tour.”
According to Forbes, tickets for the exhibit would be sold (in the $30 to $50 range) and visitors would go through heavy security and listen to the 128-minute album on headphones provided by the venue.
RZA’s goal behind the unique approach in releasing “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin” is to spark a debate about how music is appreciated in the era of mass production and market saturation.
Now that’s thinking outside the box and they will probably have a bigger payday, it’s actually a genius idea! If the person who has this is smart, they wouldn’t leak it and they would make sure they get all the masters and rights to the album.
I would do everything to cement the fact that I’m the only person in the world with access to this album. Not even the members of the Wu would have the album if I’m spending that kind of money. Check out RZA’s interview on Revolt T.V. discussing things further…
