The Daily Buzz For April 28

Ciara Puts Baby Bump On Full Display For W Magazine
A pregnant Ciara, now eight months pregnant, looks amazing in some recent images captured by W magazine.

She tells the magazine, “People are going to be like, ‘What are you doing?’” she says, gesturing at what her fiancé, the rapper Future, has taken to calling the “growing basketball” in their lives. “It feels good to not have to wonder whether your abs are tight enough,” she says. “I like not being so perfect.”
Although it was the proud poppa-to-be who spilled the beans about the baby’s gender, Ciara finally confirmed that, yes, she’s expecting a baby boy. “I will go on record saying so,” she says.
But it doesn’t mean the singer plans to take time off for long. She’s already planning the release of another studio album, not yet titled.

She also intends on getting her well toned and tight physique back. “As soon as the body says hit the gym, I’m gonna hit the gym. I’ve been having a lot of food fun.”
And after that, she’ll start to plan her wedding. Although she admits it’s a lot she says, “I don’t want to sound too cocky but I consider myself superwoman.”

Here are some more out takes of Ciara’s W magazine photo shoot.
She looks great! We wonder what they’ll name the little bundle of joy.

LA Clippers Owner Donald Sterling's Racist Rant Caught On Tape:
Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling told his girlfriend that he doesn't want her to bring black people to his games or post pictures with black people on Instagram, according to unverified audio obtained by TMZ.

The tape begins in the middle of an argument between Sterling and his girlfriend, V. Stiviano. Sterling appears to be upset that Stiviano, who is black and Mexican, has been posting photos to Instagram of herself with black people -- in particular, with Magic Johnson.

"It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people," he is heard saying. "Do you have to?"
Stiviano says that all she did was take a picture with someone she admires. "I think the fact that you admire [Magic] -- I've known him well, and he should be admired," Sterling replies. "And I'm just saying that it's too bad you can't admire him privately. And during your ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE, your whole life, admire him -- bring him here, feed him, fuck him, I don't care. You can do anything. But don't put him on an Instagram for the world to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games. OK?"

Sterling and the Clippers organization issued a statement to TMZ on Saturday evening in response to the recording. "We have heard the tape on TMZ. We do not know if it is legitimate or it has been altered," the statement said. "We do know that the woman on the tape -- who we believe released it to TMZ -- is the defendant in a lawsuit brought by the Sterling family, alleging that she embezzled more than $1.8 million, who told Mr. Sterling that she would 'get even.'"

"Mr. Sterling is emphatic that what is reflected on that recording is not consistent with, nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings," they added. "It is the antithesis of who he is, what he believes and how he has lived his life."

Magic Johnson has heard Sterling's alleged comments, and he's not pleased. "It's a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans," he told TMZ. "He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring a championship to Clippers fans. The Clippers also have a strong minority fan base."

Sterling has long had a reputation for racism. The Clippers owner and real estate mogul settled a lawsuit confidentially in 2005 that accused him of discriminating against black and Hispanic tenants at properties he owned. He paid $2.7 million in response to another housing discrimination lawsuit in 2009. Sterling and his wife denied wrongdoing and said the settlement was not an admission of guilt, according to the LA Times.

But one of Sterling's top property supervisors, Summer Davenport, gave some damning testimony about him in response to the first discrimination suit, according to depositions obtained by ESPN:
When Sterling first bought the Ardmore, he remarked on its odor to Davenport. "That's because of all the blacks in this building, they smell, they're not clean," he said, according to Davenport's testimony. "And it's because of all of the Mexicans that just sit around and smoke and drink all day." He added: "So we have to get them out of here." Shortly after, construction work caused a serious leak at the complex. When Davenport surveyed the damage, she found an elderly woman, Kandynce Jones, wading through several inches of water in Apartment 121. Jones was paralyzed on the right side and legally blind. She took medication for high blood pressure and to thin a clot in her leg. Still, she was remarkably cheerful, showing Davenport pictures of her children, even as some of her belongings floated around her.
Jones had repeatedly walked to the apartment manager's office to plead for assistance, according to sworn testimony given by her daughter Ebony Jones in the Housing Rights Center case. Kandynce Jones' refrigerator dripped, her dishwasher was broken, and her apartment was always cold. Now it had flooded. Davenport reported what she saw to Sterling, and according to her testimony, he asked: "Is she one of those black people that stink?" When Davenport told Sterling that Jones wanted to be reimbursed for the water damage and compensated for her ruined property, he replied: "I am not going to do that. Just evict the bitch."
Sterling was also sued for racial and age discrimination by former Clippers manager Elgin Baylor in 2011, but Baylor's suit was rejected by an LA county jury.

Listen to the full audio below.
The NBA is investigating the issue, according to NBC Sports:
“We are in the process of conducting a full investigation into the audio recording obtained by TMZ. The remarks heard on the recording are disturbing and offensive, but at this time we have no further information.”

Time will Tell!

Joe Budden & Consequence Squash Beef
Remember last year, when Consequence took a cheap shot at the back of Joe Budden's head on VH1's Love & Hip-Hop reunion? Well, not much has been heard about that incident since, and that's because it may not have been that serious after all. The two rappers ran into each other a NY gentlemens club the other night and have apparently squashed their beef.

In an exclusive chat with Hip-Hop Wired, Consequence said he and Joey ran into each other Starlets Gentlemens club in Queens, New York and they both took the mature route to let bygones be bygones. Cons tells HHW,

"What a difference a year makes. The feud is simply over. We mutually squashed it all at Starlets. It was an impromptu encounter and it did start with a stare down, but we concluded it with a man to man talk. Nothing but 'G Sh*t!"
The "Starlets" that Cons is referring to is Starlets Gentlemen's Club, located in Queens, NY. It seems to be the place for peace nowadays.

Now don't expect the two to jump on a song together anytime soon, but Cons didn't rule it out for the future either. Both artists have been working on their upcoming solo projects and should hopefully be out later this year.

Check out a pic of the two artists in the club in the gallery above. And for the hell of it, I threw in the entertaining confrontation the two had while on the Hot 97 set. Classic.

You think the fight could've been for tv purposes? Or was it real beef?

Taylor Schilling Dishes on “Orange is the New Black” in Boston Common May/June 2014
Continuing promotions for the upcoming season of “Orange is the New Black,” blonde beauty Taylor Schilling fronted the May/June 2014 issue of Boston Common magazine.
The 29-year-old actress posed for a sultry shoot with photographer Randall Slavin and opened up about her character on the Netflix hit.

Check out highlights from Taylor’s interview below and for more, head over to Boston Common!
On everybody being ‘a breath away from prison’ and what to expect from the upcoming season of Orange is the New Black:
“The thing that I love about this show is the idea that everybody is kind of a breath away from prison. None of us are angels, and looking back at my past I think, My God, I can’t believe I got away with that,” she says. “It’s like the what-if scenario gets played out every episode of the show. This season that happens a lot more clearly with a lot more of the characters, so we really get to see where people are coming from and why they’re there and what happened to them.”

On how she relates to her Orange is the New Black character:

“She makes a lot of sense to me. I always think there’s that negotiation between what you think you need to be for the outside world and what your own honest experience is. I certainly think I’m on that quest myself; I relate to that. She has to figure out how to play by her own rules. That’s an interesting journey people go on whether or not they’re in prison. That’s kind of what life is about.”

On art imitating life, with her father working on the legal staff for the Department of Corrections, trying to redirect kids from prisons to various programs:

“I’m in the Hollywood version of the prison system, and my dad really works with people who would be incarcerated,” she says. “He talks about how the show has brought more awareness to the population he works with, and more respect for those kids. He loves the show.”

On not following a set of preordained rules in life:
“I just kind of do things and show up without thinking about it that much. Then I look back and say, ‘My God, I can’t believe I pulled that one off,’” she says. “Now that I’m older I can see that as being a really valuable part of who I am.”

On dropping out of NYU after completing two years toward an MFA in acting (Note: She landed her first role on the NBC medical drama Mercy just four months later):
“I had nothing lined up when I left school, I just knew that NYU wasn’t making sense to me anymore. I felt done. And it was scary to leave, but it felt like following my gut, my intuition.”

REALITY RACHED MOMS: NEW Reality Show RUMORED To Be In The Works -- Starring Mama Joyce, Tiny’s Mom Dianne & More
We love a good spin-off and it looks like some reality TV moms have landed their very own show.
Now…there aren’t many details but a source revealed names of the cast who are currently in the process of creating foolywang tv.

“RHOA” star Kandi (Burruss) Tucker’s mom Mama Joyce, "Family Hustle" star Tiny’s mom Dianne, “LAHH ATL” star Rasheeda’s mom Shirlene, Atlanta rapper Cash Out’s mom, an up-and-coming Atlanta rapper K Camp’s mother who goes by Mama Camp and fallen rapper MC Breed’s widow, Natasha Breed.
Our source tells us filming for the show has already started and it’s currently being shopped to television networks.
It’s no surprise Mama Joyce WOULD be starring in her own reality show after making headlines for bashing Kandi’s husband Todd. We’re not exactly sure if Kandi will be making any appearances on the show, but a source told us that Todd will be on show. Odd, we know.
Tiny’s mother Dianne (pictured above/right with Toya Wright at Tamar’s birthday party) will allegedly join the cast. Tiny is said to be making appearances on the brand new show.

Remember when Rasheeda’s mom Shirlene rolled over Kirk’s bike on "LAHH ATL"? Yea…she’s supposedly going to be on the show.
Remember that song “Cashin’ Out” that dropped in 2012 by Atlanta rapper Cash Out? Well…his mother will possibly be joining the cast and it looks like she will be an interesting character indeed. The tatted rapper's mother and her blue hue hit the red carpet at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Atlanta rapper K Camp’s mother, Mama Camp, will allegedly be on the show. K Camp (right) is said to be joining his mother on the show as well.
And fallen rapper MC Breed’s widow Natasha Breed (who resides in Atlanta with their 3 kids) is also said to be on the new show. MC Breed died suddenly in 2008 leaving her to defend his estate against the music industry. So we're guessing that will be her storyline.
Seems like everyone is from Atlanta, so a fitting title for the show would be “Real Moms Of Atlanta.” No word on the actual title but that’s our guess.

Will you be tuned in?

Kevin Hart’s Ex-Wife Torrei Hart Calls Out His Current Girlfriend, Eniko Parrish
Although Kevin Hart and ex-wife Torrei Hart have worked out their differences following their bitter divorce in 2011. Torrei is now opening up about the divorce and the comedian’s current girlfriend, Oniko Parrish.
During an interview with S2S magazine, for the first time, Torrei spoke about the hurtful split and the comedian not allowing time to heal and, perhaps, to get closure.

Torrei also speaks on Hart calling his current girlfriend his “rib.”

On going through a divorce:
It’s so painful. I just feel like there’s ways to do things, too.

On Kevin not taking enough time to “heal” before moving on:
When we first split up, I took a lot of time to just heal. I feel like he hasn’t even really healed, because he went from one relationship right into another relationship.

On Kevin calling girlfriend Eniko his “rib:”
It’s easy to be somebody’s rib when you’re a millionaire. That’s just me being as honest as I can.
Me, for instance; you’re working at City Sports and I’m taking you to your shows, you’re driving my car, you’re crashing my car several times, and I’m still there for you, supporting you, went out and got a job for the phone company and still making sure I got your back so you can pursue your dreams.
Wow sounds like Torrei is still hurt about the split and may feel entitled since she was there before all the fame and fortune.

We can certainly understand that. We wish her the best.
Here’s a photo of Hart alongside girlfriend Eniko during a New Years 2013 celebration.
The couple have been dating for going on four years.
What are your thoughts CK readers, is Torrei entitled to feel the way she does, why or why not?

Wendy Williams GLAMS UP New UPTOWN Magazine Cover
Wendy Williams got glammed up for UPTOWN Magazine's April/May 2014 Travel issue as she donned an array of elegant gowns.  During the UPTOWN interview, Wendy dished on her rise to the top in the media industry, racism, and the loves of her life…her husband and son.

On her career:
“I regret nothing in my radio career, nothing,” says Williams, who also struggled with substance abuse during those times. She’s publicly stated that she stopped using drugs in the late ’90s because she wanted better for herself, which included being a wife and a mother. “I had to be that person back then to be the person I am today. The person who was on the radio then was authentically me. We all have our sloppy, greasy side. My original Wendy listeners, here in New York, they grew up with me. They come up to me all the time and say, ‘Oh, I have been listening to you since I was 12.’ I feel proud. I am glad that I have been able to evolve.”

On her husband and her son:
“He is my manager, co-executive producer of the show and my biggest productive cheerleader. I love him.” On January 20, 2014, while on-air, Williams broke out in tears, sobbing that her son, Kevin, Jr., 13, does not like her. Despite that emotional episode, she says she is not envious of her son’s strong relationship with his father; in fact, it makes her proud. “I love that he has his father. It’s a great thing, a black boy and his black father,” she says before tearing up. She starts to cry. While reaching for a tissue, she whispers, “Sometimes, I will stand at our front door and watch Little Kev and his father drive off until I see the last puff of smoke from the car’s exhaust. Then, I say to myself, ‘It’s good.’”

On racism:
“It makes me so proud that my black mother and my black father can sit in my audience and the camera can zoom in on them and, without them saying a word, the world sees: ‘Oh my God, there is a full black family!’ And my parents have been married for a hundred years! And, when my black husband and my black behind can pull up to my black son’s school for a parent-teacher night and they see a full black family, that is really important. We need to discuss race not necessarily because I am being followed in the mall because someone knows that I am Wendy Williams, but because I am a black woman in the mall at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.”

Here are the pics from her fabulous spread:
Fab! Check out Wendy’s full interview in UPTOWN magazine on newsstands now or check it out online here.

Chris Brown Will Be In Jail Until June, If Not Longer
Looks like Chris Brown won't be getting out of jail just yet. The singer, who's been locked up since being booted from rehab last month was meant to go to trial this week, but things have been postponed until June.
This means that despite Chris' request to be released, he'll head back to L.A. jail until the trial begins-- and even then he's not guaranteed to get out.
Following his hearing in D.C., Brown will apparently be transported back to Los Angeles via Con Air.
If convicted of his D.C. assault charges, Chris is looking at the possibility of 4 years-- in prison, not jail. Until June, he'll just have to wait it out under lockdown.

Meanwhile, the singer's new track, "Loyal" is tearing up the charts. More updates to come as information arrives.

Bryan Singer Finally Speaks Out Against "Vicious & Completely False" Sexual Assault Allegations
After sexual claims damaged his reputation last week, Bryan Singer finally broke his silence on the topic
In a statement, the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director said the "allegations against me are outrageous, vicious and completely false."
Singer added that he is removing himself from media coverage for his upcoming film because he doesn't want to take any attention away from it.

“I do not want these fictitious claims to divert ANY attention from X-Men: Days of Future Past. This fantastic film is a labor of love and one of the greatest experiences of my career. So, out of respect to all of the extraordinary contributions from the incredibly talented actors and crew involved, I’ve decided not to participate in the upcoming media events for the film,” Singer wrote.
Bryan continued, “However, I promise when this situation is over, the facts will show this to be the sick twisted shake down it is. I want to thank fans, friends and family for all their amazing and overwhelming support.”

As previously reported, Michael Egan named Bryan in a sexual assault case, stating that the director abused him on multiple occasion when he was a teenager in the late 1990s.

Kyla Pratt Share First Photo of Her Two Daughters
Actress Kyla Pratt has just unveiled a photo of daughter number 2, following reports that she was not only pregnant for a second time but she had already delivered the baby girl.
In fact, it was her publicist who later confirmed the news adding that Pratt welcomed her second child and baby girl last August.

The “Let’s Stay Together” actress shared the below image of first born and 3 year old daughter, Lyric Kai, and her newborn baby girl.

Upon sharing the image of her daughters, seemingly, during an Easter Sunday photo shoot Pratt added, “Late post….. #myreason #easter2014.”

Unfortunately, Pratt hasn’t yet unveiled the name of daughter no. 2.
We shouldn’t be all too surprise. After all, Pratt really knows how to hide a pregnancy.
It was back in 2011 when the actress revealed, on BET’s 106 & Park, that she had had a child. In fact, her daughter, Lyric, was already a year old. Very few people had known the actress was pregnant.
Kyla’s fiance and father to the beautiful baby girls is a tattoo artist and musician that goes by the name Compton, real name, Danny “KP” Kilpatrick.

Here’s a photo of the couple during a Valentine’s Day celebration last February.
Congrats again Kyla they’re gorgeous!
