Over the weekend the White House held a Women of Soul concert as part of the "In Performance at the White House" series featuring Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, Janelle Monae and Ariana Grande.
You would think for just one day Aretha Franklin could contain her distaste for Patti LaBelle...
As Aretha Franklin strolled into the concert hall Patti Labelle reached out to grab Aretha's hand and the side eye and deliberate avoiding of hands Aretha served Ms. Patti was chilly enough to freeze the entire room

No shade ReRe I love you and all but that was the most DISTASTEFUL I’ve EVER seen you do to a colleague. Your looks and your voice has DIMINISHED over the years and only because of your catalog of music we still respect you as the Queen of Soul. Make no mistake Patti has had her shares of doing shady things. But nothing EVER to this magnitude. The same age one of you looks FAB and one of you looks well 70’ish!
