I Tell Ya Obama sure knows how to bring folks to a Party! LOL!

As Obama Announces Gun Proposals, Twitter Explodes With Calls For Impeachment
The gun control issue has been controversial to say the least — eliciting passionate responses from advocates on both sides. So really, we weren’t that surprised when, as President Obama announced his proposals and executive actions, Twitter went crazy. Some, of course, were glad to see the president take action. Others called for action, as well: impeachment.

Citizens calling for impeachment aren’t alone though, with GOP Rep. Steve Stockman making the case for showing Obama the exit out of the White House — and comparing one aspect of Obama’s announcement to Saddam Hussein. And Stockman isn’t alone.

A quick search of Twitter will lead you to countless voices decrying government tyranny, but here’s a sampling:

Too funny and as far as the loony right wing calling President Obama “The King” because of an Executive Order. Lets see about these orders
Regarding presidential executive orders, by the numbers

Obama: 133
George W. Bush: 291
Clinton: 363
Reagan: 380

Seem he isn’t King like Bush, Clinton and Reagan was.
Executive orders are official documents, numbered consecutively.

Here’s the list: of the 23 Executive Orders he announced yesterday.
1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.
2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.
6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.
7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.
8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).
9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.
10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.
11. Nominate an ATF director.
12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.
18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.
19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.
20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.
21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.
22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.
23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

And as for That second amendment it actually says…."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right if the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Please, read that slowly and quietly and think about where we were when this amendment was written.
I don't see anywhere in those few words where it says that every citizen today shall have the right to own a "gun" that's able to fire off 2 to 30 + rounds in a minute anywhere or whenever they want. I don't see anywhere in those few words where everyone is granted the right to own any kind of "gun" he/she wants or - that "gun rights" are eternal. I don't see anywhere in these few, simple and profound words where it's suggested that we all should own "guns" to protect ourselves. We are simply granted the right to bear Arms as necessary for security.

"Arms" can be knives, bows and arrows, rocks, sling shots, ropes, pieces of wire, bats, sticks, bricks, forks . . whatever the hell you can get your hands on to protect yourself.

The Founders came over here to protect the rights of people to live in a better world where everyone could live free of fear. Rampant gun ownership to boost the profit line of the NRA is counter the Second Amendment in every way.
But hey like I said President Obama really knows how to bring folks to a party!
