George Zimmerman's Lawyers gets Trayvon Martin's School Records

George Zimmerman's Lawyers Receive Trayvon Martin's School Records.
Lawyers for George Zimmerman have received Trayvon Martin's school records, documents which they feel “could be relevant,” to the case.
Although the records have yet to be made public, the legal team said that they are “entitled,” to review the slain teen's grades and other potentially damaging information.
“We are entitled to receive the school records because some information in Trayvon Martin's file could be relevant in the defense of George Zimmerman,” read a statement on the accused killer's legal website. “If any details of the school records should be considered relevant in the court of a Self-Defense Immunity Hearing, only the parts deemed relevant to the case will be entered into evidence.”
Benjamin Crump, lawyer for Martin's family, and state prosecutors objected to the team being granted access to the paperwork.
Zimmerman was slapped with second-degree murder charges for fatally shooting the Florida teen last February. Following the altercation, police initially believed that the 29-year-old should face stiffer charges for unloading on the unarmed high school student, but edited documentation, recommending manslaughter instead of murder.
The next hearing in the case is scheduled for February 5, which would have been the teen's 18th birthday.

  1. Why should his school records b relevant to this situation...Trayvon could have been a terrible student who cares...but on that rainy night he was just walking home minding his own business bothering no one...can we just as Americans do the right thing and stop bullshitting and put George Zimmerman away..make him pay in full for his actions...because he wasn't right at all for killing that young kid ...it's not a color thing it's a right and wrong thing shame on us for even considering anything else
