ESPN PRESENTS THE BODY ISSUE 2012

Described by ESPN as a chance 'to unapologetically stand in awe of the athletes who've pushed their physiques to profound frontiers,' this year's edition says editor in chief, Chad Millman contains athletes who 'just recently popped.'

'Also, it's a very artistic shoot, and seeing that in past issues made me want to do it.'

Indeed, 29-year-old Chandler is particularly proud of his body, claiming to be very well proportioned.

'I'm tall with broad shoulders,' said Chandler to ESPN in an interview prior to the launch of the edition.
'And my waist is small.

'I'm into fashion, So I like the way clothes lay on me.

'I'm pretty much a normal person's size, just stretched out.'

Also pictured is the impressive body of American sailor Anna Tunnicliffe, 29, who shows the strength which has won her a gold medal in the women's laser radial class at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Originally born in Doncaster, England, Tunnicliffe moved to the U.S. at the age of 12 and moved to Perrysburg, Ohio.

With the London Games this summer, the list announced Wednesday is heavy with Olympians, including sprinter Carmelita Jeter and members of the U.S. women's volleyball team.

Also taking their clothes off for the much anticipated ESPN mag edition is 29-year-old tennis star Daniela Hantuchova, who is known for her statuesque figure.

Beyonce fears reality diva KIM KARDASHIAN is trying to buy her friendship, say sources.
The wealthy reality TV star, who was with Beyonce at the Kanye West/Jay-Z concert in Birmingham, England, splurged $5,000 on a diamond-studded baby bracelet for Beyonce and Jay-Z’s 6-month-olddaughter Blue Ivy. But Kim presumptuously personalized the pricey trinket with the engraving “Love Auntie Kim.”
And now Beyonce, 30, is suspicious that the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star is trying to buy her friendship, confide insiders.
“They have been friends for five minutes, but already Kim is trying to force herself into Beyonce’s life,” a source claims
Kim, 31, bought Blue Ivy a gold name bracelet with pink and white diamond studs.At first, says the source, Beyonce was moved by the lavish gesture, but then she became suspicious of the grandiose engraving.
“She thought it was over the top, considering that she’s known Kim personally for such a short time.
“Despite Kim’s sex tape and bad marriages, Beyonce had been warming to her based on her charming demeanor and romance with Kanye, who’s a good friend.

“But she certainly doesn’t consider Kim family in any way, shape or form – and for her to suggest that closeness in a present for Blue Ivy really put Beyonce off.”
The two women spend time together, watching their men perform in concert and relaxing during intermittent stops on the European leg of Kanye and Jay-Z’s “Watch the Throne” tour.
But Bey is beinning to feel uncomfortable, according to the source.
“She believes Kim is trying to buy her friendship through her daughter, and she’s cooling to their friendship,” explained the source.
“Right now, Beyonce is on her guard. She’s keeping her distance until she feels more trusting of Kim.”

The Essence Festival 2012

Mary J. Blige, Charlie Wilson, D’Angelo and Aretha Franklin are just a few of the artists making their way to the Big Easy for the Essence Music Festival.
The New Orleans event is under way now, with organizers kicking things off with “Youth Day.”

There were performances from Wilson and D’Angelo, as well as Trey Songz, Keyshia Cole and the Pointer Sisters.

Blige was in concert that also includes Ledisi, Tank, Mary Mary and comedian Kevin Hart. Chaka Khan will close things out on Sunday, following performances from Aretha Franklin, Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia and Kirk Franklin.

Look at the lovely Stephanie Mills is currently working a new album and is about to hit the road as she prepares for new up to date virgin of the play “ THE WIZ”…

Aretha Franklin is also slated to receive the inaugural “Power Award” at this year’s Essence Music Festival. Watch some performances.

NBA Releases OFFICIAL 2012 Summer Olympics Lineup 

The official lineup of TEAM USA for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London has been released and it features the best of the best in NBA balling. Of course the usual suspects, Kobe, LeBron, Carmelo, Chris and Blake are there.

Will we win the gold? Most likely.

When Kelis left Nas the only thing she left behind was her green wedding dress and when Nas found it he decided he was either going to use it for an album cover or burn it in a garbage can...

Rihanna Covers ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Magazine

Pop Singer Rihanna covers the lastest issue of HARPER’S BAZAAR magazine. In her interview Rihanna talks about the drawbacks of not having an ample butt to fill out her dresses. She also discusses taking a break from dating for awhile, being a chronic love addict, her drug and alcohol issues, and being rebellious.

The August 2012 issue hits newsstands July 17th.

Here’s a few highlights:

On her rebellious behavior:
“I’m rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair. I have been conservative in my love life… it’s pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I’ll hang out. But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just—I don’t let people in.”

Lil’ Scrappy Loves Frank Ocean’s ‘Mursic,’ Says Gays Are the Gateway to AIDS??

Have you ever met a person that probably shouldn’t be allowed to interview…ever? If not, listen to this phone call starring Lil’ Scrappy.
He recently talked to TMZ during one of their live sessions and made quite a few comments that will surely have the gay community up in arms. During the call he said that

"while he appreciates Frank Ocean’s mursic, he’s more appreciative of the fact that he openly talked about his sexuality to keep AIDS out of the ‘straight’ community"

When asked if he would work with Frank, Scrappy said that he would but with a ‘fine ass bitch’ in the room.
This entire conversation was awkward as hell. It’s hard to believe that there are people out there who believe some of the things Scrappy does, but it becomes more and more evident as the days go by..

Well the Lil bastard got blasted via the web and now Lil Scrappy wants to clarify that he does not believe men having sex with men is the only way HIV/AIDS can be contracted. Contrary to a report, the "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" star says there are other "gates."

"I don't have a problem wit gays I just don't do it an I also said scientifically because its proven, we was talkin bout 1 thing not other gates," Lil Scrappy said following backlash from fans and others who read his TMZ story with the headline "closeted gays spread AIDS."

According to Lil Scrappy, people took what he said wrong.
"Ok y'all just took the tmz sh*t wrong cus I was def not sayin that's the only way u can get hiv I mean come on yall just wanna find a reason," Lil Scrappy said via Twitter. "And I respect all y'all comments good or bad that's just ur opinion,thanks for even giving a f**k. Ya feel me."

In the TMZ story, Lil Scrappy was supporting Frank Ocean's recent affirmation of his sexuality.
"I'm glad that he came out so all the real women that love to mess with real men, straight men, we can keep the AIDS situation down, you feel me?," said Lil Scrappy. "[homosexuality] is a doorway to AIDS, scientifically."

Maybe it would have been better if Lil Scrappy said he supported Frank Ocean and left it at that.
