#FASHIONFILES: John Galliano Dials Up The Drama At Zara
Zara hands John Galliano its archive and Re{form} Zara Vol. 1 sees the couturier cut, dismantle, and reassemble existing garments before reproducing his creations in new materials. The process revives Les Incroyables and Les Merveilleuses, the dandies and divas of post-Revolutionary France who have occupied Galliano’s imagination since his earliest work. For menswear, their theatricality arrives with Napoleonic coats, voluminous trousers, sheer layers, elongated winklepickers, faux fur, and crumpled hats recalling bicornes.

Re{form} Zara presents fashion designed for performance and that spirit illuminates the campaign photographed by Steven Meisel. Models Craig Shimirmana, Frederic Bittner, Thomas Riguelle, and Wiley Rhoads join the cast, styled by Karl Templer, with hair by Guido Palau and makeup by Pat McGrath.

Teased hair, metallic blue lips, and exaggerated poses push Galliano’s characters beyond the conventions of a Zara campaign. The clothes invite their wearers to posture, seduce, provoke, and play a role. After years of fashion selling good taste through understatement, Galliano offers another possibility. The opposite of minimalism is not necessarily maximalism. Sometimes, it is character.

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Reveals She Made Around $60K Her First Season Of ‘RHOA
Porsha Williams is opening up about what the money really looked like when she first joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
During a recent podcast interview, the reality TV star and entrepreneur was asked how much she earned during her first season on the hit Bravo series. Porsha said her paycheck was “nowhere near $100,000,” recalling,

“It was like maybe 60-something.”
But according to Porsha, that money didn’t last very long. She revealed that she spent roughly the same amount on a party she threw while filming, saying,
“I spent that at the party. The party that I threw, I spent it already.”

When asked whether she’d ever spent more money filming Housewives than she actually earned from the show, Porsha said that’s common for newcomers.
“Most Housewives in the beginning are spending more money than they’re making. Yes. That is true.”
Still, Porsha explained that she saw the platform as an investment in herself rather than simply a paycheck. She said the opportunity to build her brand on such a large platform was “the bigger payoff.” At the time, she said she was married and “well-established,” adding, “I didn’t need the check necessarily.” Instead, she viewed RHOA as “a great way for me to have something for me.” She jokingly added that her perspective changed after her divorce: “And then once I got a divorce, I was like, ‘I need that little check.’”

#HipHopNews: Kanye West’s Bully Debuts At No. 2 Amid Deluxe Edition Announcement
Kanye West’s latest album, Bully, has made a notable impact on the Billboard 200 chart despite the controversies surrounding its release.
The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with 152,000 equivalent units earned in its first week, according to Billboard data. Out of that total, 96,000 units came from streaming, which accounted for 98.43 million on-demand official streams, while the remaining 56,000 were traditional album sales.

Bully was kept from the top spot by K-Pop powerhouse BTS, whose 10th album ARIRANG earned 187,000 equivalent units in its second week after debuting at number one with 641,000 units. This marks the end of Kanye West’s impressive 21-year streak of number one solo albums. Bully is only his second solo album to miss the top spot since his 2004 debut The College Dropout, which also peaked at number two.
However, there is some debate over the official sales figures. Gamma., the distribution company founded by former Apple  Music executive Larry Jackson that handled Bully, claims the album actually moved over 200,000 equivalent units in its first week. According to a breakdown shared on Gamma.’s Instagram Stories, the album generated a total of 200,997 units, which would have been enough to secure the number one position on the Billboard 200.

Neither Billboard nor Luminate, the analytics company behind the charts, have publicly responded to Gamma.’s claims. The discrepancy between the reported numbers has caused some speculation about the true commercial performance of Bully.
Despite already featuring a substantial 18 tracks, fans may expect more  music soon. Gamma. teased an upcoming expanded edition of Bully on Instagram, announcing that a “Bully deluxe” version is on the way. Details such as the release date or the number of additional songs have not yet been disclosed.

Meanwhile, Kanye West’s scheduled headline performances at London’s Wireless Festival in July have sparked significant controversy due to his previous antisemitic remarks. Major sponsors, including Pepsi, PayPal, and Diageo, have withdrawn their support from the festival following backlash.
Political figures such as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and London Mayor Sadiq Khan have publicly expressed their concerns about the booking. Starmer described it as “deeply concerning” that West was invited to perform despite his history of antisemitic comments and associations with Nazism.

Despite the criticism, Kanye West recently completed two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in support of Bully and is slated to headline all three nights of the Wireless Festival.

#RIPEvaMarieSaint, Oscar-winning film star of ‘On the Waterfront,’ dead at 102

Eva Marie Saint, the Academy Award-winning actress who excelled in roles opposite such stars as Cary Grant and Marlon Brando, has died, according to her publicist Jeff Sanderson. She was 102.
In a written message, Sanderson said Saint died Tuesday of natural causes surrounded by family and loved ones at her home in Los Angeles.

Saint won her Oscar for her movie debut in “On the Waterfront,” costarring with Brando in the breakout 1954 drama from director Elia Kazan. Her most memorable role, however, came five years later, as Eve Kendall, the cool double agent – tasked with wooing Grant – in Alfred Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest,” one of the director’s signature thrillers.

In a 2014 interview, Saint recalled working with Hitchcock, saying that the director never discussed emotion with her but told her to lower her voice and “always, in my scenes with Cary Grant, look directly into his eyes, which was not difficult.”
Born in New Jersey on the Fourth of July, Saint began acting in college and subsequently moved to New York, landing roles in radio plays and television.

Saint studied at the acclaimed Actors Studio, working with Kazan and Lee Strasberg, the renowned acting coach. They worked on what came to be known as Method acting, with Brando, Montgomery Clift, Paul Newman and Geraldine Page among other famous students.
“Think of your body as an instrument, a musical instrument,” Saint recalled Strasberg telling her, in a 2001 interview. “So take care of your body. You have to be disciplined and you should be able to play what that director wants.”
Saint appeared in a number of films in the 1960s, including “Exodus” (with Newman), “The Sandpiper” and the Cold War comedy “The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!”

She stayed active in television, portraying Edith Wilson in the 1974 movie “The First Woman President,” and recurring as Cybill Shepherd’s character’s mother on the popular ‘80s series “Moonlighting.”
Saint received several Emmy nominations, winning for the miniseries “People Like Us,” based on a Dominick Dunne novel. She continued to appear in movies well into her 80s and 90s, including “Because of Winn-Dixie” and “Superman Returns.”

Saint married producer-director Jeffrey Hayden in 1951 – they met on a subway in New York – and the two stayed together for 65 years, until his death in 2016. They had two children, and Saint was actually pregnant when she accepted the Academy Award in 1955.
Early in their marriage, Hayden directed Saint an episode of the 1950s CBS series “Omnibus.” The couple later collaborated on several plays and performed together on stage in “Love Letters.”

Jamie Foxx says Kevin Hart’s roast made him cut jokes from his new stand-up special
Ahead of "Take Care of Yourself," Foxx opened up about changing audiences, controversial comedy and his new perspective after a life-threatening health crisis.
Jamie Foxx says he cut some material from his new stand-up special after watching how audiences reacted to jokes during Kevin Hart's controversial roast. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Foxx also addressed Tony Hinchcliffe's George Floyd joke, his decision to avoid podcast appearances and how his near-fatal health scare changed his approach to comedy.

"Take Care of Yourself" premieres Oct. 7 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. Foxx said the reaction to Hart's roast made him reconsider some of the material he planned to use in the new special.
"After that Kevin Hart roast, I had to cut everything," Foxx told THR, explaining that he felt audiences had become more sensitive to certain jokes.
Jamie Foxx said the experience reinforced his desire to keep his comedy from becoming unnecessarily hurtful while still allowing himself room to discuss difficult or personal subjects. He specifically addressed the controversy surrounding a George Floyd joke delivered by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe during the Netflix roast special, saying plainly that he "didn't like the George Floyd sh-t at all."

Foxx also said he does not want to appear on podcasts such as Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay." The comedian said he believes some podcast environments can reward increasingly provocative statements because of the way controversial clips perform online. Foxx referenced Katt Williams' widely discussed "Club Shay Shay" interview and said he did not want to feel pressured to say something extreme simply to generate attention.

Foxx also dismissed the idea of publicly responding to Williams after Williams criticized his previous Netflix special. Instead, Foxx said criticism gives comedians material to work with and revealed that he and Williams are working together on a project he described as being "right around the corner." "Take Care of Yourself" arrives two years after Foxx's previous stand-up special, "What Had Happened Was…" The new special reflects on the perspective Foxx developed after suffering a brain bleed and stroke in 2023.

Foxx acknowledged that some comedians criticized his previous special for not being funny enough. He explained that after coming through a life-threatening health crisis, he was not approaching comedy in exactly the same way. The new special mixes political humor, jokes about aging, celebrities and Foxx himself with more personal reflections about family, recovery and his changing perspective on life. Beyond comedy, Foxx said he wants his next projects to leave audiences impressed, including his upcoming sports drama "Fight for '84."

Sean 'Diddy' Combs ordered to pay $500,000 in failed defamation bid
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been ordered to pay legal fees after unsuccessfully suing US television network NBC over the 2025 documentary The Making of a Bad Boy.
A court order, obtained by Billboard, states that Combs must repay the $478,000 (£361,000) that NBC spent convincing a judge to dismiss the defamation lawsuit earlier this year.

Combs sued NBC in early 2025 for $100 million (£75 million), alleging The Making of a Bad Boy advanced a "false narrative" that he was involved in the deaths of The Notorious B.I.G. and Kim Porter.
Judge Phaedra F. Perry-Bond ruled in April that NBC had followed the proper journalistic standards by making clear that Combs denies all such claims and that the interviewees who voiced the theories had their own biases against the now-imprisoned mogul.

The judge threw out Combs' lawsuit under New York's anti-SLAPP statute, which quickly disposes of meritless cases that threaten First Amendment-protected free speech.

Under that law, a successful defendant can recoup the legal fees that they spent in the process.
The judge ruled that NBC qualifies for attorney fee reimbursement in this situation.
However, he did find that the number of hours billed by legal firm Gibson Dunn was "excessive", and trimmed a total of $512,000 (£386,000) from the original $990,000 (£747,000) bill.
Combs is currently serving prison time for arranging cross-country prostitution events. He's appealing the sentence, arguing it was unduly harsh.

Meanwhile, the Bad Boy Records founder still faces dozens of ongoing civil sexual misconduct lawsuits, in which he denies all wrongdoing.

Drake's Rep Denies He Fathered Keshia Chanté's Baby
Drake’s rep has come out publicly to deny the rumors that the rapper is the father of singer Keshia Chanté’s unborn child.
TMZ reports that it spoke to Drake’s rep amid growing speculation that he fathered a child with Chanté, who has shared a maternity shoot to reveal that she’s having a baby boy.
A spokesperson for The Agency Group completely and unequivocally denied the “inaccurate” rumors that are swirling.

In Shanté’s interview with Hello about her pregnancy, the singer wouldn't reveal who the father of her child is, but she’s implied that he’s in the music industry.
“Mommy & Daddy are so excited to welcome you into the world. Oh, and we’ve already got you booked & busy. Dada’s got your studio locked, and we expect your album to drop summer 2027,” she wrote in an Instagram post announcing the pregnancy.

Speculation began circulating about Drake being the child’s father due to the history that the two have together. In 2022, Drake acknowledged that she was the “first girlfriend I ever had in my life” while introducing her at his All-Canadian North Stars concert in Toronto.

Oprah-Backed True Food Kitchen Files for Bankruptcy With $42 Million in Debt
True Food Kitchen filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy with roughly $42 million in debt and plans to pursue a court-supervised sale.
The health-focused chain closed 12 restaurants but continues operating 34 locations across 14 states as it restructures.
The company blamed management turnover, shifting strategies, and failed expansion efforts; Oprah Winfrey, who left its board, remains a minority investor.

Another brand carrying Oprah Winfrey’s powerful seal of approval has hit trouble. True Food Kitchen, the health-focused restaurant chain Winfrey invested in and once helped guide as a board member, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy with roughly $42 million in debt.
According to Business Insider, the Phoenix-founded company filed in a Texas court on Sunday, October 4, and is pursuing a court-supervised sale. True Food Kitchen simultaneously closed 12 restaurants, leaving it with 34 locations across 14 states. The surviving restaurants remain open and are serving customers while the restructuring proceeds.

True Food Kitchen blamed more than the punishing post-pandemic restaurant economy. In court documents, the company said its growth produced “a number of operational challenges,” including a revolving door in the executive suite that repeatedly altered its identity.
“The Company experienced significant management turnover, which resulted in frequent changes to expansion strategy, brand direction, and menu offerings,” the filing said.
Successive leadership teams also spent money beyond the chain’s established markets and moved into product lines and restaurant concepts that proved unsuccessful. According to the filing, those investments fell “outside of the Company’s core mission and menu.”

Although many locations remain profitable, others have suffered from weak foot and vehicle traffic, changing demographics, and declining revenue.
CEO Jeff Chandler called Chapter 11 the “best path forward to simplify the business and focus on what we do best: delivering craveable, health-forward food and genuine hospitality.”
“We are confident this step will help us build a stronger True Food Kitchen for the future,” Chandler said.

Founded in 2008 by wellness author Andrew Weil and restaurateur Sam Fox, True Food Kitchen built its brand around flavorful dishes influenced by an anti-inflammatory diet.
The company separated from Fox’s restaurant group in 2017, becoming FRC Balance, LLC, before attracting Winfrey and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz as investors.
Winfrey made an undisclosed equity investment in 2018 and joined the company’s board after becoming a fan of its food and health-conscious mission. “When I first dined at True Food Kitchen, I was so impressed with the team’s passion for healthy eating and, of course, the delicious food, that I knew I wanted to be part of the company’s future,” she said then.

Her involvement carried the kind of promotional weight long associated with the “Oprah Effect.” At its height, The Oprah Winfrey Show drew between 12 million and 13 million viewers per day, and Winfrey’s endorsement could transform books, products, experts, and businesses into national brands.
That influence has also produced questions about how much responsibility Winfrey bears for what happens after an endorsement. She recently pushed back against criticism of Dr. Phil McGraw and Dr. Mehmet Oz, two television figures whose careers exploded after she put them before her audience.

“Everybody has their own path in life, and it has not one thing to do with me, and I don’t have one thing to do with them,” Winfrey said
Winfrey is no longer on True Food Kitchen’s board, but the company confirmed she remains a minority investor. Her representatives did not immediately comment on the bankruptcy.

Coco Gauff Calls Out 'Insane' Racist Abuse After China Open Controversy
Coco Gauff condemned the racist comments and DMs she received after her China Open win, writing, “You can dislike me or disagree about what happened without being racist.”
Gauff also rejected claims that she cheated after stopping play because court-side advertising displays flickered during a key rally against 16-year-old Sun Xinran.
The chair umpire reviewed the incident, ruled the display change a hindrance and replayed the point before Gauff completed a 7-5, 6-1 victory to reach the round of 16.

Coco Gauff is calling out racist abuse directed at her online after a disputed point during her China Open victory became a flashpoint on social media.
According to The New York Times, the two-time Grand Slam champion said she received a barrage of racist comments and direct messages after stopping play during her 7-5, 6-1 win over 16-year-old Sun Xinran on Monday. Gauff, 22, directly addressed the abuse on X while also rejecting accusations that she had cheated her opponent.

“Hey everyone, you can dislike me or disagree about what happened without being racist,” Gauff wrote. “The amount of racist comments/dms I’ve received in the last few hours is insane. Lastly, I’m not a cheater or a thief.”
The controversy stemmed from a critical moment late in the opening set. Gauff was serving at 4-5 and 15-15 when, during an extended rally, she raised her hand to stop play. Sun subsequently reached a volley and hit what would otherwise have been a winner, potentially moving her within two points of the set.

But Gauff had stopped because advertising displays along the court flickered during the rally. She later explained that she noticed the boards change earlier in the point but wasn’t sure what she had seen.
The chair umpire reviewed video of the incident and determined that the changing display constituted a hindrance. The point was replayed, with Gauff winning it before ultimately taking the first set 7-5 and cruising through the second, 6-1, to reach the China Open round of 16.

It isn't the first time this year that Gauff has used social media to clarify comments that generated backlash. In January, she responded after remarks about American tennis fans at the United Cup circulated widely.
Gauff had described U.S. tennis supporters as “the worst” when it came to visibly supporting players overseas compared with fans from some smaller countries.
She later said the remark had been “taken out of context,” explaining that she wasn't expecting Americans to travel internationally specifically to watch her play.

“People don’t owe me anything,” Gauff said at the time, adding that she was referring to American spectators already attending tournaments and the comparatively visible national support she had seen from other countries.
Taylor Fritz, who was sitting beside Gauff when she originally made the remarks, also defended her interpretation, saying there had been “absolutely no disrespect meant to the US fans.”

Tyra Banks Addresses ‘Project Runway’ Argument With Law Roach: ‘We’re Beefing?’
Tyra Banks is speaking out about her clash with Law Roach on the most recent season of Project Runway.
The 52-year-old supermodel was a recurring guest judge on the Freeform series’ 22nd season, which aired over the summer.
In the fifth episode, Tyra and fellow judge Law had a tense moment as they disagreed about judging that week.

“That’s not the challenge,” Tyra tells Law.
“But you’re overstepping,” he replied, to which she counter-argued, “No, you’re overstepping… and you’re talking over everybody.”
In the next episode, as that judging picked back up, Law then went on to say, “As much as I hate to, I agree with Tyra.” She then didn’t appear back on the show.
In a new interview, Tyra laughed off that there was any ongoing tension between her and the stylist.
“That is so crazy,” she told Entertainment weekly, noting that was a bigger deal to fans than it was to them.

Luke Evans Clarifies His ‘Gay’ & ‘Woke’ Comments Amid Backlash.
Luke Evans is responding to some recent comments he made in an interview.
The 47-year-old actor, who is openly gay and has talked publicly about his sexuality in the past, recently did an interview where he said “Just because you are gay yourself doesn’t mean you have to be woke.” This sparked a lot of headlines and responses .

“Just because you are gay yourself doesn’t mean you have to be woke. Your sexuality is one part of who you are, but our opinions on society and life differ in every single person. I’ve got very woke gay friends and very unwoke gay friends. We don’t all agree on the same thing,” Luke told The Telegraph in an interview published on October 2.

Luke posted on his Instagram Story, and we have the full text.

I feel the need to respond to some of the headlines the Telegraph has decided to use for the interview I did:
I want to clarify what I meant, because parts of this interview have been paraphrased in ways that don’t accurately reflect what I said.
I absolutely consider myself woke. If that means being aware of injustice, caring about others and standing up for people whose rights are threatened, those are values I’ve held for decades. I’ve fought for my own community and stood alongside others who deserve protection and equality.
My point was that people sit at different places on that spectrum. We won’t always share the same views, and there should be room for conversation and understanding. That doesn’t diminish my commitment to those values.

I understand why people have reacted to the way this has been presented. But I’d like my position to be clear: my belief in equality, compassion and standing up against discrimination has never changed.

87-Year-Old Civil Rights Activist Dr. Erlin Gooch, 87 Beaten in Home
Former civil rights activist Dr. Erlin Gooch, 87, wants justice after surviving a violent robbery inside her Ripley, Tennessee, home.
Gooch suffered broken bones and head wounds during the Sept. 9 attack and continues recovering in a rehabilitation facility. She also says the experience has left her with nightmares. Despite the trauma, Gooch told WREG News Channel 3 that support from others has helped her recovery.

“But I am encouraged by the people who are praying for me, the people who stop by,” Gooch said. “My desire is that no one else has to go through this. So I am praying for the elderly who are victimized and all because they are the elderly, and don’t have the defenses sometimes to help themselves.”

Ripley police said officers found Gooch injured inside a back room of her home. Her purse, wallet, phone and credit card were missing. Gooch suffered repeated punches to her face and was stomped during the assault. Her right hand and left arm were broken, and she also suffered injuries to her face and head.
Gooch recalls trying to protect her head during the attack. She told police she recognized her attacker and that other people were involved. Describing her pain now, Gooch said, “I still have the pain when it’s painful, it is, it’s painful.”
“I really raised my arm to try and defend myself, because she had a knife and was using it on my head. A knife or something, because I have all these wounds in my head. So, I was trying to defend my head. I think he was trying to get to my head because apparently that was the place that he wanted to really attack,” Gooch said.

Despite her injuries, Gooch told police she wants the man she identified as her attacker to receive help. “The person definitely needs help, but I also want justice,” Gooch said.
Police said investigators have identified persons of interest but have not released additional details about the case.
