#MAGFAB: Halle Berry for Marie Claire UK
Halle Berry: "I struggled to find women who reflected me growing up"
When you're offered the chance to grill Halle Berry on beauty advice, you grab a notepad and take some serious notes. Here, the Academy Award-winning actress and brand ambassador of beauty tool brand Finishing Touch Flawless shares her thoughts on beauty lessons, roles models for women and her hopes for the next generation. And yes, we clung onto every single word...
Great to speak to you Halle! Can you tell us about your move into beauty, working with Finishing Touch Flawless?

Well, this is a brand - even before I became part of the company in this way - that I was very interested in. They are things that I used on my own. So when they [Finishing Touch] invited me to come to their big office and explained the whole line to me and asked me if I would like to partner with them, I was flattered.

What did you think of the products?
I was surprised because when I got there I realised, 'Oh my god, you guys have all these new things I didn't even know about'. I was using just one or two things! Right away I was struck by just how beautiful these products are, you know? I wanted to pick them up right away and hold them. They're well made, they're very feminine, the colour ways are beautiful. I think hair removal has always been an issue for women and shaving feels masculine. Who wants to do it? It's kind of gnarly to shave your moustache [laughs]. So these products made it OK for us to do the things we want to do. And because they're so beautiful, we can be proud of it in a way! I thought that was really important messaging to send to women. Especially because my daughter's turning 13 and she's struggling with her hair. So this is really helping her come to terms with how to manage it.

It's so great hearing women like you talking about it because when I was 13, this kind of thing was pretty taboo to talk about. You had to really search to find any information on what to do about body hair, didn't you?

I had to use products - I won't name them - where you put it on your face and it burns off the hair. But it also burns off a layer of your skin! I can remember trying to get rid of a little moustache that burned my face so then I'd have a permanent muzzle for like six months from a product! I remember those horror stories growing up so I’m so grateful for these kind of products now that my daughter's coming into her teenage years. Because she's going to have none of that. She's not going to cut her legs shaving. She’s not going to burn her lip trying to get rid of her little moustache. I'm really excited to be a part of the company.

#RHOA: Noelle Robinson Reveals What She's Up to Today: "Rollercoaster of Life"
Leave it to Noelle Robinson to look absolutely stunning, even when she is "just saying hi." Cynthia Bailey's only daughter might keep a much lower profile compared to The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom, but she is still just as busy, living her life in southern California.
Noelle took to her Instagram feed earlier this week, where she posted a series of photos of her wearing a black, long-sleeved short bodysuit, accessorized with high heels, while posing on her balcony. Noelle looks so happy and radiant in the photos, and the love for her life shows so much. In the final slide of her post, she shared a lengthy quote proving how happy she is at the moment.

"Luxury is waking up being able to say 'I love it here.' I love who I've become," the quote reads. "I love how I've healed. I love how sure I am of myself. I love how I believe in what I can do. I love where the rollercoaster of my life has taken me. I love that I allow myself to feel free. I love that I can let go. I love that I can say no. I love that I can give love; and I love that I allow love."
She also took to the caption, where she checked in with her followers. "Just saying hi," she wrote in the post.
Cynthia said "hi" back to her daughter in the comments of the post, leaving her two separate comments filled with the heart hands emoji and the gift-wrapped heart emoji. There is nothing but love between the mother-daughter duo.
The Atlanta native appears to be thriving in Los Angeles, where she has lived for quite a few years now. Noelle has a home right "outside the city" of Los Angeles, which she has lived in for two years, with a sleek kitchen, spacious backyard, serene bedroom, and a very sweet home gym.

When she isn't at home, the model's life seems to be just as easy and breezy. In addition to posing for the camera, Noelle has been busy shopping, hanging out at brunch, going to the beach, and living her best California life. Noelle seems to be thriving on the West Coast, and her Instagram account is proof of that.
In an interview with One 33 Social last November, Noelle opened up about how her mom inspired her to pursue her own goals in the entertainment industry in LA. "I also am so grateful to have a mother that's been such an amazing role model and example of how to thrive and pursue your goals in the entertainment industry while staying true to your values as a person," she explained.
In August, Noelle's dad, Leon Robinson, shared a look at their relationship and revealed how much he loves his kid. "I can never get enough of this young Lady!" he wrote at the time. "When we’re together, it’s always a lovely day!!"

"Awww the feeling couldn’t be more mutual," Noelle commented back.

#HipHopNews: Eve Says She's "So Proud" Of Nicki Minaj's Growth After Response To Memoir Confession

On Monday (Sept. 23), Eve took a moment to reciprocate the love Nicki Minaj showed her after learning about the “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” rapper’s memoir confession.
“Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it,” she shared on Twitter. “I have nothing but respect and am so proud to have seen you grow from strength to strength over the years as an artist [and] mom, and [you] always stayed true to yourself. Lord knows it’s not easy for us, y’all.”

“Thank you for all the kind words and blessings to my family. [It] goes without saying the feeling is mutual,” Eve concluded.
Earlier in the month, the Philadelphia native opened up about going to therapy after discovering she and Minaj were tapped for Barbershop: The Next Cut. The 2016 film, which served as the third installment in its franchise, also featured the likes of Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, Common, and Regina Hall.

“We got along well and shot our scenes together with no problems. It was nothing like what I had expected, but again, I am thankful that I prepared myself for it,” Eve penned. “I thought I was going to resent her, and really all I felt was compassion. I remembered being that person, the girl who felt like she had to do it all.”

Minaj responded to the “Who’s That Girl?” excerpt on Sunday (Sept. 22). She expressed, “The various things you’ve shared recently are groundbreaking — in my opinion — for so many reasons. First, thank you. The level of grace, the level of emotional and spiritual maturity it takes to be this vulnerable and transparent is a sign of true peace, happiness, fulfillment, and mastery of self.”

It’s been quite a busy year for the Pink Friday 2 rapper, who is currently on the road to promote her latest album. The trek is scheduled to end at the UBS Arena in her hometown of Queens on Oct. 11.

Prince Collaborator Cat Glover Dead At 60

She can be seen in the 1987 Sign O' the Times concert film and on the 1989 Lovesexy Live broadcast and home video. "I've always idolized him, and it's not an intimate thing, it's just... he's great. I don't think there's anyone that can be as creative as he can - dance, play all his instruments," Glover said of her admiration for Prince in a 1987 Video Soul interview. "I've actually sat in the studio and watched him put down everything by himself, and I've just gone, 'My God, he's incredible, he really is.'"

New Diddy Accuser Comes Forward Repped by Gloria Allred

Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently being held without bond on human trafficking charges in New York after nearly a dozen accusers came forward
Now a new accuser has come forward being repped by Gloria Allred...

From TMZ
Diddy and a friend viciously xaped a woman at the Bad Boy Records studio in New York City, and recorded the saxual abuse on video ... at least according to a new lawsuit.
A woman named Thalia Graves is suing Diddy, claiming she's had suicidal thoughts since Diddy and his head of security Joseph Sherman violently xaped her back in 2001 ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.
In her suit, Graves claims she was 25 years old and dating one of Diddy's employees when he lured her into a meeting with him and Sherman alone, where she says they sequestered her and gave her a drink "likely laced with a drug that eventually caused her briefly to lose consciousness."

Graves claims she woke up to find herself bound and restrained ... with Diddy and Sherman proceeding to brutally saxually abuse and violate her ... mercilessly xaping her an--ly and v-----ly.
Diddy's newest accuser claims she's thought about killing herself and got extensive psychological treatment as a result of the alleged xape ... and she says she never reported the incident out of fear that Diddy and Sherman would use their power to ruin her life, just as she claims they threatened to do if she ever spoke out.
Graves says she continues to suffer severe depression, anxiety and panic attacks as a result of the xape and still lives in fear of Diddy and Sherman ... and she says her wounds were opened in November 2023 when she learned for the first time Diddy and Sherman had video recorded her "horrific xape."

The woman claims Diddy and Sherman showed the video to multiple men in an effort to publicly degrade her and humiliate her and her boyfriend ... and she says the very thought of the video being out there caused her to again consider ending her life.
Graves is going after Diddy, Sherman and Bad Boy for damages ... and she's being repped by Gloria Allred, who is holding a press conference with Graves later today.

Brett Favre reveals He has Parkinson's Disease

Retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre revealed on Tuesday that he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Favre made the admission while speaking before a House Ways and Means Committee hearing in Washington, D.C. The Republican-led congressional committee is examining how states are falling short on using welfare to help families in need.

Favre has repaid just over $1 million in speaking fees funded by a welfare program in Mississippi. Favre said the scandal has hurt his name and hurt him financially, as well.

"Sadly, I also lost investment in a company I believed was developing a breakthrough concussion drug I thought would help others, and I’m sure you'll understand why it’s too late for me, because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s," Favre said. "This is also a cause dear to my heart. Recently, the doctor running the company pleaded guilty to taking TANF money for his own use."

What causes Parkinson's disease is unknown, and it is unclear if Favre's disease is connected to his football career or head injuries. He said in 2022 that he estimates he experienced “thousands” of concussions in his two decades in the NFL.
House Republicans have said a Mississippi welfare misspending scandal involving Favre and others points to the need for “serious reform” in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.

Mississippi has ranked among the poorest states in the U.S. for decades, but only a fraction of its federal welfare money has been going to families.
Instead, the Mississippi Department of Human Services allowed well-connected people to waste tens of millions of welfare dollars from 2016 to 2019, according to Mississippi Auditor Shad White and state and federal prosecutors.

Favre is not facing any criminal charges, but he is among more than three dozen defendants in a civil lawsuit the state filed in 2022. The suit demands repayment of money that was misspent through TANF.
White, a Republican, said in 2020 that Favre had improperly received $1.1 million in speaking fees from a nonprofit organization that spent welfare with approval from the state Department of Human Services. White said Favre did not show up for the speeches. Although Favre repaid the $1.1 million, he still owes nearly $730,000 in interest, White said.

The TANF money was to go toward a volleyball arena at the University of Southern Mississippi. Favre agreed to lead fundraising efforts for the facility at his alma mater, where his daughter started playing on the volleyball team in 2017.
A nonprofit group called the Mississippi Community Education Center made two payments of welfare money to Favre Enterprises, the athlete’s business: $500,000 in December 2017 and $600,000 in June 2018.

Court records show that on Dec. 27, 2017, Favre texted the center's director, Nancy New: “Nancy Santa came today and dropped some money off (two smiling emojis) thank you my goodness thank you.”
“Yes he did,” New responded. “He felt you had been pretty good this year!”
New pleaded guilty in April 2022 to charges of misspending welfare money, as did her son Zachary New, who helped run the nonprofit. They await sentencing and have agreed to testify against others.

Favre said he didn’t know the payments he received came from welfare funds and noted his charity had provided millions of dollars to poor kids in his home state of Mississippi and Wisconsin, where he played most of his career with the Green Bay Packers.

Tia Mowry Clarifies Comments On Current Relationship With Twin Sister Tamera
Tia Mowry has clarified her viral comment on a preview for her new WEtv show, "Tia Mowry: My Next Act", where she expressed her wish to be closer to her twin sister, Tamera Mowry.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Tia explained that she was referring to the physical distance between them, as Tamera now lives in Napa, California, with her husband and children, while Tia resides in Los Angeles near her father and brother. The siblings' other brother, Tavior Mowry, lives in Tennessee.

"I love my sister very much. She loves me very much," Tia said. "We have a closeness and a beautiful connection. But that's what that was all about. It's just how life unfolds, and it happens with many families."

Tia emphasized that the distance has affected their bond, as it is no longer as easy to rely on each other as it was when they lived nearby. "In these transitions in life, sometimes you just want a hug and you just want someone to be as accessible as they used to be, and that is not the case," she explained.

However, Tia stressed that her comments were not surprising given her 30+ years in the entertainment industry. "When you've been in this industry for over 30 years, things are always taken out of context and it is what it is," she said. "The only thing that I can do is control my behaviors and be the best person that I could possibly be, and that's what both of us are. We are incredible, inspiring examples, and we have been that all our lives."

Tia and Tamera rose to fame in the 1990s sitcom "Sister, Sister", playing separated-at-birth twins. They have since gone on to star in several other projects together, including the "Seventeen Again" and "Twitches" franchises.

Beyonce Dragged After Chloe Bailey Revealed Reason Why She Doesn't Perform Often
Beyonce Knowles was dragged after Chloe Bailey recently made a revelation. The "Texas Hold 'Em" hitmaker allegedly was the one to blame for the one half of musical duo Chloe x Halle not being able to perform often.
On Tuesday, September 24, many social media users called out the 43-year-old superstar for allegedly not supporting Chloe's career in the music industry. In the comments section of an Instagram post, one in particular asked, "Why is Beyonce not supporting new girls." Similarly, another chimed in, "Is Beyonce jealous of the new girls??????"

A third argued, "Beyonce wrong IDC these girls have been working since age 4 in movies and in music. No way DJ Khaled got Beyonce verses over her own artist." Making a reference to raptress Megan Thee Stallion, a fourth added, "lol I knew something shady was going on when Beyonce rather had Megan perform with her before her very own artist. yonce ain't ishhh."

While those users were quick to blame Queen Bey, others shared what they knew about Chloe's music career. One of them stated, "She's not even signed to Beyonce she's signed to Columbia. like yall don't research nothing no more before yall start yapping."
Another noted, "They are signed to Columbia and parkwood. Columbia handles the marketing, distribution and promotion. Parkwood handles management. Chloe has gotten way more opportunities than any other artists who sell the same as her. Maybe the ROI isn't good enough for Columbia. Imma need yall to use your brains."

The mixed comments came after Chloe revealed the reason why she has not been performing often. During a livestream, she candidly shared, "Trust me, I would be performing if I could. The thing is that money goes into performances so it's not free to do performances."
"And you have to get a budget approved and things like that. So if I could, I'd be performing everywhere," the sister of Halle Bailey added. "Just know, it's never my work ethic or if I don't wanna do something 'cause y'all know I love working."

Randy Jackson Seems to Be Behind Janet Jackson Delusional Statement regarding VP Kamala Harris
Sources close to Janet Jackson are reportedly blaming the recent PR debacle on her brother Randy’s inexperience and excessive “control” over her life.
It’s been a rough week for Janet Jackson. And it’s starting to become clear that her MAGA brother Randy Jackson is to blame.

First, the pop star took heat for falsely saying that Vice President Kamala Harris is “not Black” in an interview with The Guardian. The comment, which parroted claims made by former President Donald Trump, went viral on social media—prompting outcry and mockery.
Soon after, a man claiming to be her manager publicly apologized on her behalf, only for Jackson’s camp to state that the apology didn’t come from Jackson, as the man wasn’t actually her manager. (The man, Mo Elmasri, told the Daily Beast that he had worked for Jackson but was fired for his actions after the Guardian debacle.)

Now, in the latest twist to the bizarre PR nightmare, Page Six has reported that unnamed sources close to Janet are blaming the saga on her brother Randy, who Variety reported has long been her manager. The sources say that he is too inexperienced to handle her affairs and exerts too great a control over her life.

“[Randy’s] sabotaging her legacy because he’s not savvy,” one source reportedly said. “She’s giving Randy control, and no one understands how he’s managing her, when he’s never had a career. She pays for everything.”
The source also alleged that Randy is a “Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist,” adding: “Janet’s bubble is small, and she listens to Randy. She does peddle in conspiracy theories.”

In an October 2020 Instagram post, Randy shared a video in which a man argues on behalf of the former president’s reelection campaign. “Please watch. We are living in a time where there is a war going on. Not blue vs red but good vs evil,” Jackson’s caption reads. His most recent grid post is a clip of Kanye West speaking with Tucker Carlson and before that he shared a selfie with noted conspiracy peddler Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

On top of that Randy Jackson follows just 11 accounts on Instagram. Aside from his family members, the other boldfaced names include Trump, RFK Jr. and ultra-conservative pundit Candace Owens.
Another source told Page Six that Janet’s comments to the Guardian don’t “even sound like her,” adding, “She’s so methodical. I don’t know what made her do this.” The source added that Janet “doesn’t really watch the news anymore. She does live in a bubble.”

Randy’s personal website features a section on his close relationship to his sister.
“In 2016, at Janet’s request, Randy came alongside her to consult on her career and business management as well as to support her through a difficult time in her personal life throughout her pregnancy and birth of her son and then subsequent separation from her husband,” it reads. “Randy and Janet continue to combine their talents working on various projects together and supporting each other through the many challenges of life.”

Representatives of Randy and Janet told Variety that the siblings are unavailable for comment as they mourn the loss of their brother Tito, who died this past week.

‘Sinners’: Michael B. Jordan Faces His Darkest Role Yet In Ryan Coogler’s Chilling New Thriller

Warner Bros. Pictures has just dropped the highly anticipated official trailer for “Sinners,” featuring none other than Michael B. Jordan in a gripping dual role.
From the visionary mind of Ryan Coogler, the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker behind “Black Panther” and “Creed,” comes a chilling new story of fear and redemption.

“Sinners” follows twin brothers (both played by Jordan) who, desperate to leave their troubled past behind, return to their hometown for a fresh start—only to find that a darker, more sinister force is waiting for their arrival.
As one haunting line from the trailer puts it, “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”
Coogler’s stellar cast doesn’t stop at Jordan.

The film also stars Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (“Bumblebee,” “True Grit”), Jack O’Connell (“Ferrari”), Wunmi Mosaku (“Passenger”), Jayme Lawson (“The Woman King”), Omar Benson Miller (“True Lies”), and Delroy Lindo (“Da 5 Bloods”).

The powerhouse production team includes Coogler himself, along with frequent collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler.
Executive producers Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho round out the creative forces behind the scenes.

Fans of Coogler’s previous work will recognize some familiar names on the crew: director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shawver, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter—each bringing their A-game to this new, twisted tale.

Broadway is honoring James Earl Jones
On Sept. 26, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. Eastern, Broadway will dim its lights in a heartfelt tribute to the legendary actor James Earl Jones, who died at the age of 93. This traditional gesture, organized by the Broadway League, is a poignant way to honor the contributions of those who have shaped the theater landscape.

A tribute to a theater icon
The announcement of this tribute came just two weeks after Jones’ death, marking a significant moment for the Broadway community. The dimming of the marquee lights for one minute is a time-honored practice that pays homage to the stars who have left an indelible mark on the stage.

James Earl Jones: A Broadway legacy
James Earl Jones’ journey in theater began in 1957 when he made his debut as an understudy in The Egghead. Over the decades, he became a household name, earning accolades and admiration for his powerful performances. His first major recognition came in 1969 when he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role in The Great White Hope. This role not only solidified his status on Broadway but also led to an Oscar nomination when he reprised it in the film adaptation.

Jones’ remarkable career continued with another Tony Award in 1987 for his portrayal in August Wilson’s Fences, showcasing his versatility and depth as an actor. His extensive repertoire includes acclaimed productions such as The Iceman Cometh, Of Mice and Men, Othello, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Driving Miss Daisy. His final Broadway performance was in 2015 in The Gin Game, where he shared the stage with the equally legendary Cicely Tyson.

A life of achievements
Throughout his illustrious career, Jones received numerous nominations and awards, including Best Actor nominations for On Golden Pond in 2005 and The Best Man in 2012. His contributions to the arts were recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Tony Award in 2017, a testament to his enduring impact on theater. In September 2022, the Cort Theatre was renamed the James Earl Jones Theatre, further cementing his legacy in the Broadway community.

Remembering a cultural icon
Jones was not only a titan of the stage but also a beloved figure in film and television. His iconic voice, known for roles such as Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise, resonated with audiences worldwide. His ability to convey deep emotion and gravitas made him a sought-after talent across various entertainment mediums.

As Broadway dims its lights in memory of James Earl Jones, it serves as a reminder of the profound impact he had on the arts and the lives of those who experienced his performances. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of actors and theatergoers alike.

Mary J. Blige has a new love

Mary J. Blige’s relationship with her new mystery man is “going well.”
The “No More Drama” singer has famously battled depression, drug and alcohol addiction and been scarred by her turbulent relationships. She has now said she had learned to forgive herself and has moved on with a new love.

“What I’ve learned is that forgiveness was for me. So excuse me when I say this, ‘The hell with them.’ I don’t like that ugly, bitter feeling ’cause that’s not mine. That belongs to you,” Blige said on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime show “Sherri” about getting over her 2018 divorce from her record producer ex-husband Kendu Isaacs.

“You did what you did. But I have to move on, and in order for me to feel good and to manifest all the good things in my life, I have to let go for me. Not for you — this is not for you. Trust me, this is not for you; this is for me,” the singer stated.
When Blige also said she is determined to “walk in that joy,” Shepherd asked her if she had a new man in her life.

“You know already Sherri; everybody knows. Yes … [it’s] going well. … I look good to me. I feel good to me. And so, I’m embracing me. So when you embrace you, everything is embracing you. When you want you, everything wants you. Everything good,” Blige replied.
Despite not identifying her new boyfriend, Blige also opened up about how her new relationship is working as she is “not holding anybody accountable about making me feel good for me.”

Blige finalized her divorce from Isaacs after a 15-year marriage.
“I didn’t care about myself. I didn’t love myself,” Blige told People about the aftermath of the split. “You get what you’re giving yourself. So, now that I’m giving to myself, I’m getting it all.”

T.I. & Wife Tiny Win $71 Million in Lawsuit Over 'L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G.' Dolls
T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris just got MUCH richer than they already are.
The longtime couple just scored a massive victory in court against toy company MGA Entertainment, the maker of the popular “L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G.” dolls.

T.I. and Tiny were awarded $71 million as part of their victory and they’re now reacting to the win.
The couple sued MGA Entertainment for violating the intellectual property rights of a girl group they created called OMG Girlz. The girl group was formed in 2009 and featured Tiny‘s daughter Zonnique Pullins with Bahja Rodriguez and Breaunna Womack.
Rolling Stone reports that the jury in the case ruled that “13 dolls among more than 30 at issue infringed on the trade dress and misappropriated the name, image, and likeness of the all-female band.”

Tiny told the outlet, “I mean, wow. They did more than I thought they would. I would have been happy with whatever. They blessed us more than beyond. We wanted to thank the jurors so bad, but we didn’t get the opportunity.”
T.I. added, “I think justice was served. I think it’s a testament to the relentlessness and resilience of my wife, daughter and nieces. We’re just happy we were able to come out on top and fight for creatives and our intellectual property that large corporations seem to think is just public domain and free for all to come and grab and use.”

Zonnique, one of the group members, said, “When the judge asked if we had a memorable trade dress and everyone raised their hands, I got so emotional. We all silently cried.”

Missouri Executes Marcellus Williams Despite Ongoing Innocence Claims and Pleas for Clemency
Missouri executed Marcellus Williams by lethal injection for the 1998 murder of former newspaper reporter Lisha Gayle, despite significant opposition from both the prosecution and the victim’s family. Williams, who consistently asserted his innocence, became the third person executed in Missouri this year and the 15th or 16th execution in the U.S. in 2024, depending on the timing of another execution scheduled in Texas.

Williams, 55, was convicted of killing Lisha Gayle, a former reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, during a burglary at her suburban St. Louis home on August 11, 1998. She was brutally stabbed 43 times with a kitchen knife taken from her own home. However, Williams and his defense team have long contended that he was wrongfully convicted, pointing out the lack of DNA evidence linking him to the crime scene.

Over the years, the case has attracted widespread attention due to the peculiar circumstances surrounding the conviction. Recent DNA tests have raised further questions about Williams’ involvement in the crime. A prosecutor in the case, along with Gayle’s family, has even advocated for clemency, arguing that there’s significant doubt about Williams’ guilt.
“Marcellus’ execution is not necessary,” Gayle’s family stated in a clemency petition, emphasizing that they define closure as Williams being allowed to live. Despite their plea, Missouri Governor Mike Parson and the Missouri Supreme Court denied clemency, paving the way for Williams’ execution.

With the execution date looming, Williams’ legal team made a final appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. However, just hours before the scheduled execution, the Court declined to intervene. While the three liberal justices—Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson—expressed their dissent and willingness to grant a stay, the majority decision allowed the execution to proceed.

Williams’ attorney, Tricia Rojo Bushnell, expressed her frustration and disappointment with the outcome. “Tonight, we all bear witness to Missouri’s grotesque exercise of state power,” she said in a statement, underscoring how even prosecutors had fought to undo the conviction and save Williams’ life.

In his final moments, Williams remained resolute in his faith, leaving the world with a statement of spiritual strength. When asked if he had any last words, he responded, “All praise be to Allah in every situation.” His last meal consisted of chicken wings and tater tots, and his final visitor was Imam Jalahii Kacem, with whom he spent about 90 minutes.

Williams’ son, Marcellus Williams Jr., voiced his anguish and disbelief at the state’s decision to go through with the execution. “This is a murder,” he told KSDK-TV, encapsulating the deep pain and frustration felt by those who believed in Williams’ innocence.
The execution of Marcellus Williams has reignited the national debate over the death penalty, particularly in cases where there is substantial doubt about the convicted person’s guilt. His case, marked by a lack of physical evidence and the support of both prosecutors and the victim’s family, has highlighted the complexities and controversies surrounding capital punishment.

Alex Jones’ Infowars to Be Auctioned Off to Pay Over $1 Billion Owed to Sandy Hook Families

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ media platform, Infowars, will be auctioned off piece by piece starting this November to help pay over $1 billion he owes to the families of Sandy Hook shooting victims. A federal judge is expected to approve the auctions as part of Jones’ bankruptcy case.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez, during a hearing in Houston on Tuesday, indicated he would approve the sale of Infowars assets. The auctions will include everything from the website and equipment to other assets belonging to Free Speech Systems, the parent company of Infowars, which Jones owns outright. However, before moving forward, Judge Lopez must modify an earlier order to confirm that the trustee overseeing Jones’ personal bankruptcy case has full control over all of Free Speech Systems’ assets.

Despite facing the loss of his company, Jones remains defiant, pledging to continue his talk shows through other platforms, possibly a new website and his personal social media accounts. He has also floated the idea that his supporters could purchase Infowars’ assets, allowing him to continue hosting his show as an employee under the same brand in Austin, Texas. “It’s very cut and dry that the assets of Free Speech Systems, the website, the equipment, the shopping cart, all that, can be sold,” Jones said on a recent show. “And they know full well that there are a bunch of patriot buyers, and then the operation can ease on.”

This development comes after Jones and his company filed for bankruptcy protection in 2022, the same year he was ordered to pay nearly $1.5 billion in damages for repeatedly calling the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting a hoax. His false claims added immense suffering to the families of the 20 first-graders and six educators killed in Newtown, Connecticut.
