#RHOA: Kenya Moore Preps Lawsuit Amid 'RHOA' Suspension!

Filming of season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta had barely begun before drama was already spilling out away from the set, into the media, and then into the hands of attorneys. At the center of the latest legal drama to hit Bravo is seasoned cast member of the reality series, Kenya Moore, and newbie Brittany Eady. Kenya allegedly showed explicit sexual photos of her new co-star to guests at an event she was hosting which was being filmed by the show, as reported by multiple media outlets. This led to accusations of "revenge porn" by Brittany, and she swiftly sent her lawyers to Bravo, who in turn suspended Kenya pending an investigation.

Viewers of the show will not be surprised to learn that Kenya is not taking this decision lying down and has vowed to fight the decision by bringing in legal representatives of her own. Reality Tea reports that Kenya “has hired a team of top entertainment lawyers – who plan on fighting for Kenya, in court if need be."
The reality star took to social media to refute claims that her suspension from filming is indefinite.

Kenya Moore Says NDA's Were Broken
The report states that Kenya instructed all attendees of her event to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and that someone had leaked information from the event, thereby breaking the legal contract. Because of this, Kenya plans to sue the person or people who broke the NDA's terms.

Response to the reported incident and putting Kenya ‘on pause’ has been mixed. Kenya is not known for openly welcoming ‘new blood’ to the fold regarding new cast members to the show over the years. One example is Kenya’s seeming hostility to previous newcomer Kim Fields, resulting in Kenya pulling a chair away from Kim as she was about to sit down. Another is her dismissive attitude towards Shamea Morton when she first joined the group as a friend.

Kenya has definitely had her fair share of confrontations within the group. Fireworks flew between Kenya and recently returning Housewife Porsha Williams from the very beginning after Porsha mistakenly called Kenya a former ‘Miss America’ instead of Miss USA. There have also been tensions between Kenya and former castmate Phaedra Parks, not least because Kenya appeared to be openly flirting with Phaedra’s ex-husband, Apollo Nida. There was certainly no love lost between Kenya and OG Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leakes, and even longtime friend Cynthia Bailey and Kenya appeared to have difficulties in their friendship on season 1 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which they starred in together.

Many fans feel the show would be lost without Kenya and the guaranteed drama she brings, but also that perhaps her ‘hazing’ of new Housewives has now gone one step too far.

#MusicNews: Ariana Grande announces remix of “the boy is mine” with Brandy and Monica
Back in March, Ariana Grande released her latest body of work, eternal sunshine, which contained a track titled “the boy is mine” -- a direct nod to Brandy and Monica’s classic single of the same name. Today (June 17), Grande surprised everyone by announcing a remix of her version featuring the R&B legends. Hopping on Instagram, the pop star shared a teaser clip of the updated offering while thanking the original creators for the collaboration, which is set to arrive this Friday (June 21).

"I cannot believe this is real. I don’t know if I will even long after it’s out," Grande wrote. "My deepest and sincerest thank you to Brandy and Monica, not only for joining me for this moment, but for your generosity, your kindness, and for the countless ways in which you have inspired me."

The "thank u, next" talent continued, "It is near impossible to say how much this means to me. This is in celebration of you both and the impact that you have had on every vocalist, vocal producer, musician, [and] artist that is creating today. I love you both so, so much. Thank you!" Both Brandy and Monica shared the announcement on their respective social media pages.

As previously reported, Monica spoke on the iconic track -- which the two performed during a popular Verzuz episode -- and their reconciliation following a highly publicized feud.
“We are more than good. I [turned] 43 in October. I have nothing but love and admiration in my heart for her, and I’m good with everyone. I don’t have any issues with anyone,” the Atlanta songstress said to The Hollywood Reporter. “As far as she and I go, a lot of what people hear is about two teenage girls. Now we’re two grown women, that’s a completely different thing. So, it’s something that I kind of wish would go away, to be very honest."

Released in 1998, the original iteration of "The Boy Is Mine" went on to top the Billboard Hot 100 and earn all parties a double-platinum certification. The track can be found on Monica's LP of the same name and Brandy's Never Say Never album.

#HipHopNews: Diddy's Son Catches Heat For 'Sneaky' Father's Day Tribute

King Combs, also known as Christian Combs, took to Instagram in the early hours of Monday morning (June 17) to show love to his dad and call him “the greatest.”

“HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO THE GREATEST!! Love you pops !” he wrote in the caption.
Combs posted throwback photos of himself and his father when he was a baby, with the lead image showing him wearing a Sean John diaper.

However, many Instagram users took to the comments to call out King Combs for showing love to his father amid the various allegations against him.
Some people even accused Combs of posting the tribute in the middle of the night to try and avoid as much backlash as possible.
“Bro had to sneak this shit in there a day later during grave shift,” one person wrote.
Another added: “You thought everybody was sleep.”

Others came to King Combs’ defense, claiming anything his father has done has nothing to do with their father-son relationship.
“All those talking negative, remember Diddy is dad to him, not Diddy,” they said. “He is Diddy to you all but to him he is just a father. As bad as he could be, he will remain a father to King Combs.

“Even serial killer dads still get love from their kids cause that was not who they saw at home. Take your anger to Diddy directly and leave boy alone.

Another person wrote: “For all the people who have negative comments understand this is still his father no matter what he has done.
“And a lot of yall are miserable inside and find comfort from attacking in these comments. Just can’t help yourselves but to be negative.”
Over the weekend, it was announced that Diddy’s key to New York City had been rescinded by Mayor Eric Adams in response to the video of Puff attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie in 2016.

TMZ obtained two letters on Saturday (June 15), one of which was sent to Combs Entertainment LLC’s office in New York and the other to his L.A. office. They were addressed to Diddy courtesy of Mayor Adams, who said he was “deeply disturbed” by the Cassie video.

We’ve built robust capabilities through Así Creators to meet the needs of brands in connecting them with authentic voices in the Latino community, but there’s always more work to be done. Lupita Nyong’o dreams of starring in a romantic comedy
Lupita Nyong’o dreams of starring in a romantic comedy.
The 41-year-old actress has made her name with a string of hard-hitting roles in films such as 12 Years a Slave and Us, but is now pleading with Hollywood casting directors to put her in a light-hearted movie.

“Please tell everybody I’m looking for the rom-com. I am here; I’m taking calls. Listen, if I need to audition, I’ll do it. I’m dying to do a comedy – dying to do a comedy,” she told an audience at an event hosted by Paramount Pictures and Hollywood Confidential to celebrate her work.
Lupita won a best supporting actress Oscar in 2014 for her work in director Sir Steve McQueen’s horrific 19th-century-set drama 12 Years a Slave. She has also portrayed a spy and romantic interest to Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther.

She has even started to advertise her comedy abilities online by posting light-hearted videos of herself and her cat on social media to show her playful side.
“I’m trying to tell these executives that I’m funny and that I can be light-hearted and light-footed. But I do have more dramatic roles in the can than light ones, so someone’s just got to take a chance with me. So consider this my open application,” Lupita added.

Despite her dreams of a comedy role, the actress is currently starring in the Quiet Place prequel A Quiet Place: Day One.
She said, “I was very honored to get offered this role because I think it is a very innovative world that John Krasinski created.
“The [US] Office” actor Krasinski, 43, starred in and directed the first Quiet Place movie in 2018, and Lupita called his dark creation about alien monsters who terrorize humanity by eating them every time they hear them move or make a sound “a fun world.”

“It’s a very specific world. It’s a tense world,” she added.

The Boston Celtics top The Dallas Mavericks in Game 5, win record 18th NBA championship
Behind 31 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists from Jayson Tatum and 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists from Finals MVP Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics blew out the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 to win the 2024 NBA Finals, winning a record-setting 18th NBA title on the 16th anniversary of the day they won their 17th championship in this same building.

In doing so, the Celtics passed their forever rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, for the most titles in NBA history.
"I mean, this is going to be a night that I will remember for the rest of my life, from the game, the celebration, these moments," Tatum said. "Over the last couple years, we had some tough losses at home in the playoffs. We've lost the NBA championship at home in front of our fans. We had a chance to beat Miami in Game 6 a few years ago and lost that one.
"So to have a big win -- the biggest win that you could have in front of your home crowd -- I felt like that was really important to go out there and do everything in my power to make sure we won this game tonight."

Boston, after playing its worst game of the season Friday night in its first chance to close this series out, responded with a wire-to-wire victory Monday. Big performances from Tatum and Brown allowed Boston to put the game away early -- much like it did in 2008, when the Celtics routed the Lakers in Game 6 at TD Garden to win what had been their most recent championship.

The Celtics built a 21-point lead at halftime, with a second Payton Pritchard half-court heave of the series emphatically sending them into the break with a comfortable cushion -- and sending the sellout crowd at TD Garden into a frenzy
The crowd had been in a fervent state since before the game even began, but particularly when Kristaps Porzingis -- who had missed Games 3 and 4 because of the left leg injury he suffered in Game 2 -- checked into the game midway through the first quarter. Porzingis finished with just five points in 16 minutes but gave Boston some valuable minutes spelling Al Horford off the bench.

Kyrie Irving, meanwhile, continued to struggle in Boston, after admitting Sunday that he has had trouble playing against his former team at TD Garden. After going a combined 13-for-37 in Boston in Games 1 and 2, including 0-for-8 from 3, he finished with 15 points on 5-for-16 shooting in Game 5.

Brown earned his MVP award behind series averages of 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5 assists, while also consistently guarding Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic.
"I can't even put into words the emotions," Brown said. "It's just I'm blessed and I'm grateful. This was a full team effort. We had a great team. My teammates were great. They allowed me to lead us on both ends of ball, and we just came out and performed on our home floor. It's just amazing.

"You know, it could have gone to anybody. It could have gone to Jayson. Jayson, like I can't talk enough about his selflessness. ... I can't talk enough about his attitude. It's just how he approached not just this series or the Finals but just the playoffs in general. And we did it together as a team, and that was the most important thing."

With the win, the Celtics finished the playoffs 16-3, second only to the 2016-17 Golden State Warriors (16-1) since the NBA went to four best-of-seven rounds of the playoffs in 2003 in an emphatic reversal of Boston's recent playoff disappointments. The Celtics -- until their Monday night victory -- had played more postseason games over an eight-season span without winning a title than any team in NBA history.

That run involved six trips to the Eastern Conference finals, including last year's loss in seven games to the Heat, when Boston became the fourth team ever to force a Game 7 after falling behind 3-0. There was also the loss to the Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals after winning two of the first three games and leading in the fourth quarter of Game 4, before seeing Golden State celebrate its fourth title of the Stephen Curry era on Boston's famed parquet.

"Over the last couple years, we had some tough losses at home in the playoffs,” said Jayson Tatum, who then added: "I felt like that was really important to go out there and do everything in my power to make sure we won this game tonight." Elsa/Getty Images

The title checked off boxes for many of Boston's top players. For Tatum and Brown, the 107 games they played together are the most by a duo prior to winning their first NBA championship.
"It means the world," Tatum said on stage. "It's been a long time. And, damn, I'm grateful."

Tatum had the fifth-most career playoff points at the time of his first championship -- trailing only the late Jerry West, LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant.
Horford, meanwhile, played in 186 playoff games before his first title -- the most in NBA history prior to getting a championship.

"The first thing you have to do when you come here is you have to embrace that pressure," Horford said. "And I was OK with being in that position. I was OK if we were getting criticized and we weren't getting it done because I understood what it means playing here.
"Our group, we've had a lot of hardships the last few years. Last year, heartbreaker against Miami, Game 7. Year before, Golden State. It's been building up. But this team has been resilient, and we've continued to work. I'm so proud of Jaylen, and I'm so proud of Jayson. Those two guys continue to take steps forward. People all year criticizing them, all that expectation, all the pressure.

"They did it. And they've done it at a young age. They led our group. I'm just very proud of those guys and to put everything aside and focus on winning."
Monday was the culmination of a journey that began 11 years ago this month at Barclays Center when the Brooklyn Nets spun a blockbuster trade with Boston to acquire Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett for a bevy of draft picks, two of which would become Brown and Tatum in 2016 and 2017.

Soon after the 2013 draft, Boston hired Brad Stevens away from Butler University to be head coach, the job he performed for the next eight seasons before replacing Danny Ainge -- the man who hired him -- as president of basketball operations in 2021.
The Celtics went 16-3 during their playoff run, second only to the 2017 Warriors for best win percentage in a single postseason since all four playoff rounds became best-of-seven in 2003.

At that point, Boston was coming off a .500 season and had lost in five games to the Nets in the first round of the playoffs. Since then, Stevens has methodically rebuilt the roster around Brown and Tatum via trades -- bringing back Horford that summer and Derrick White at the ensuing trade deadline -- which helped get Boston to the 2022 Finals. After the conference finals loss last spring, Stevens restructured the roster again, trading away fan favorite and former Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart to add Porzingis, then pouncing to acquire Jrue Holiday after the Milwaukee Bucks traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Holiday, who won a title with Milwaukee in 2021, had multiple big performances during this postseason, including Game 2 of the Finals when he scored 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting while the rest of the team went cold from 3-point range. Injuries forced Porzingis to miss all but six of Boston's postseason games, but he scored 20 points off the bench in Game 1 of the Finals, helping the Celtics get off to a strong start against the Mavericks, before providing an emotional boost with his return Monday night.

Stevens also made the bold decision to promote Joe Mazzulla from the back of the bench to be the team's head coach in the wake of Ime Udoka's suspension and eventual firing for violations of team rules shortly before training camp. Mazzulla, 35, has posted a 121-43 record in the regular season over the past two years and became the youngest coach to win an NBA title since Russell did it for the same franchise 55 years ago.

The Celtics had largely controlled the first three games of this series before the Mavericks responded with a demolition of Boston in Dallas on Friday, winning by 38 points in the third-biggest blowout in NBA Finals history and the largest loss for the Celtics in any game since the 2017 conference finals.

But Boston responded with one of its most complete ones of the season in Game 5 -- and, as a result, set a new standard for winning in NBA history.
"This is unreal. I don't think it really has hit and settled in," White said. "This is a special group of guys, a special coaching staff that I'm just thankful to be a part of. Yeah, it's unreal. I'm just trying to enjoy the moment and not get too lit."

50 Cent Jokes Diddy Is Going Straight to Jail If He Shows Up at Humor and Harmony Weekend in Shreveport

50 Cent recently announced the Humor and Harmony Weekend in August—and got a joke off in the process.
Over the last couple of days, Fif has been detailing the festival’s lineup, which includes Kai Cenat, Cam’ron, Gillie Da Kid, 2 Chainz, Michael Blackson, Katt Williams, and more. But 50 also took the opportunity to troll Diddy.

“So I have to confirm he is to be let in, not the party but Shreveport period OK 😟 LOL,” 50 captioned a now-deleted post of a Diddy lookalike in an orange jumpsuit next to a police officer.
“Diddy want to come, but if he come the Fed’s gonna come,” text over the image said.

Humor and Harmony Weekend is set to take place from Aug. 8 to Aug. 11 in Shreveport, Louisiana. It’s unclear exactly what’s happening at the festival, but it does feature an all-star lineup already.
50 Cent and Diddy have been at odds with each other for almost 20 years, with the Queens native taking as many shots as possible at the disgraced music mogul. Diddy's litany of legal issues and abuse allegations over the last few months has only added fuel to 50's fire.

Most recently, in early June, 50 showed up to a Diddy roast in Miami, which aimed to financially help victims of sexual assault. In late May, 50 also sold his Diddy docuseries to Netflix.

The event will see the boulevard, typically bustling with luxury shops and Cannes Lions festival attendees, temporarily closed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time. Berry’s participation in carrying the Olympic flame adds a touch of glamour to the prestigious event, marking a symbolic start to the Olympic celebrations in France.

Spike Lee Shares Father's Day Message to Robert De Niro, Says They Need to Do a Movie: 'Scorsese Wouldn't Mind'

Spike Lee let the world know he’s aiming for the chance to make cinematic magic with Robert De Niro, joking that Martin Scorsese "wouldn’t mind" in a timely Father’s Day message shared to Instagram.

As seen below, Lee, whose next film is set to feature Ice Spice’s acting debut alongside Denzel Washington, was in attendance for this weekend’s Tribeca Film Festival celebration of his "artistic brother," aptly dubbed De Niro Con. The lineup for the festival-closing event also boasted Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino, whose De Niro-starring Mean Streets and Jackie Brown films, respectively, screened as part of this year’s proceedings.

"Happy Father’s Day To My Artistic Brother MR. ROBERT De NIR0," Lee wrote on Sunday. "We Have Yet To Work Together And We Gotta Make Dis Happen Sooner Than Later. I Think MARTY SCORSESE Wouldn’t Mind If We Got To Do 1 Spike Lee Joint Together. Enjoy Ya Father’s Day. Peace And Love. Onward And Upward."
While De Niro has indeed never starred in a Lee joint, the two are longtime friends and admirers of each other’s work. In fact, Lee has said that he initially wanted De Niro to play the character Sal, from 1989’s Do the Right Thing. The two have also been producing partners in the past, including for a Manhattan-set HBO drama first announced back in 2009.

De Niro's most recent Scorsese collaboration, meanwhile, is last year’s acclaimed Killers of the Flower Moon, widely discussed as one of the best films of 2023. Also in 2023, De Niro became a father again at the age of 79, welcoming his seventh child into the world.
Lee, who last directed the revered Da 5 Bloods for Netflix, is next set for the aforementioned High and Low for A24 and Apple. Denzel and Ice are joined in the cast by Ilfenesh Hadera, Jeffrey Wright, Dean Winters, and ASAP Rocky.
