#RHOA: Porsha Williams Reveals Which Room in Her House Is Her “Happy Place”

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Matters, Porsha Williams opened up about moving out of her former house and into a new space. "My home for me has been a manifestation of my independence," she said at the time. "Me working hard, being able to afford a home like this in a gated community, raising my daughter on my own, it has been very fulfilling to me. It does feel like I'm leaving a piece of Porsha."

More recently, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member talked about a favorite spot in that home, and it involved her daughter, Pilar Jhena "PJ" McKinley.
"My happy place is Pilar's room when she's there with me," Porsha told Us Weekly as part of the outlet's "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" feature.

Though we haven't yet gotten a specific peek at Pilar's room in Porsha's home, you can watch the video above for a tour of Pilar's nursery in Porsha's old home. Pilar's bedroom doesn't seem to be the only place the little one and her mama enjoy some time together.

In February, Porsha took to her Instagram page to share an adorable video of herself and PJ sitting in front of the oven "baking."
"I prayed for this [little] life," the Atlanta mom captioned the post of herself and Pilar watching what they were baking through the glass door of the oven

In the background, we got a full view of Porsha's beautiful kitchen, which has pretty white cabinets with silver handles, a herringbone backsplash pattern, and white window shades which featured blue patterns outlining the shades.

#NewMusic from Lalah Hathaway & MC Lyte ‘Mood For You’
Earlier this week, Lalah Hathaway had a listening party for her new album VANTABLACK in Los Angeles. The exclusive affair was held at the Peppermint Club, and from what we’ve heard and seen online from many who were in attendance, Lalah has outdone herself on this project. No one should be surprised by the advanced rave reviews, however. Hathaway has been dropping one fire single after the other with “So In Love” and “I AM,” and she continues to set it off with her third, “Mood For You” featuring MC Lyte.

As the title suggests, Lalah’s feeling amorous in “Mood For You,” and she’s not shy about making her desires known from the (bedroom) door. “Put your hands on me / I like where it’s going / What you want to see / I’m OK with showing,” she entices in her sultry tone atop the intoxicating, percussion-heavy groove co-produced alongside Warryn Campbell and Eric Dawkins. She continues to pour honey all over the lyrics, singing, “Let me in on your fantasy / Tell me what you’re thinking / We ain’t gotta go nowhere / We can get it up as we go / No plan let it flow.”

Whew! Is it hot in here, or is it Lalah Hathaway and this song? Rest assured, it’s most def Lalah and this sexy little number. Veteran femcee MC Lyte matches her energy and breezes through on the bridge with her iconic voice to spit some game and fire of her own.

LISTEN HERE

Lalah started off two-for-two with VANTABLACK’s singles, and “Mood For You” officially makes it three-for-three. This collection already sounds like it has album of the year potential. We’ll find out if our prediction rings true when VANTABLACK drops on Friday, June 14th. Pre-add the album now on Apple Music.

#HipHopNews: Foxy Brown Reportedly Eyed As Key Witness In 2pac Murder Trial
Foxy Brown is reportedly being eyed as a key witness in 2Pac‘s murder trial later this year.
According to The U.S. Sun, prosecutors want Foxy to act as a witness in the case as they believe she can provide evidence that Keefe D was in Las Vegas the night of the rap legend’s murder, something he denies.

Keefe (real name Duane Davis) has claimed that there is no proof he was in Vegas on September 7, 1996, but according to the publication, the Clark County District Attorney’s office is building a list of witnesses they believe can prove the former Crip was in Sin City.

Foxy allegedly saw Keefe D in Vegas and even interacted with him before ‘Pac’s shooting later that night.
Keefe D had previously copped to meeting with Foxy on the night that 2Pac was killed in his book Compton Street Legend but has since claimed that anything he boasted about the late rapper’s murder was false.

In his autobiography, he wrote: “As I walked up to the driver’s side window, I noticed that the rapper, Foxy Brown, was in the car with [Eric Von] Zip. So he instructed her to step out of the car and motioned for me to jump in.
“Zip had a hidden compartment that he opened up, reached in, and pulled a black .40 Glock out. He turned to me and said, ‘It’s time to get the money.’

“Zip handed me the 17-shot pistol, which I promptly put down the back waist of my pants. I hopped out of the car, held the door open for Foxy Brown to get back in, closed the door, and they pulled off.“

Prosecutors are now allegedly speaking with Foxy in an attempt to convince her to testify at the trial.
Keefe D’s trial for the murder of 2Pac was originally set to begin last week but has now been delayed until November 4.

The delay is a result of Keefe D’s new lawyer asking for more time to go over all of the discovery materials related to the case.
The 60-year-old is also hoping to make bail which has been set at $750,000. A judge ruled he can serve house arrest with an ankle monitor if he manages to come up with the money.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Bad Boys 4 Life Tops the Box Office with 56 Million!

Sony’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die jolted the battered summer box office back to life with a better-than-expected domestic opening of $56 million and $104.6 million globally.

Moreover, it puts Will Smith on the road to a career comeback two years after the infamous Oscars slap.
Ride or Die, reuniting Smith with Martin Lawrence, is the fourth outing in Sony’s long-running franchise and earned an A- CinemaScore in North America alongside generally positive reviews. Just as promising, 44 percent of the audience was between ages 18 and 34, showing Smith has a following among younger consumers. Black moviegoers made up the largest quadrant of the audience with 44 percent.

Ride or Die is arguably the first film of the summer to come in notably ahead of tracking, which had it opening in the $48 million to $50 million range. It’s also the second biggest domestic launch of the season behind Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which debuted to $58 million domestically.

The movie’s start overseas is equally as promising, where it grossed $48.6 million from 60 markets, 58 percent of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga in like-for-like markets. It collected a strong $19.3 million in Europe and set franchise records in Latin America and the Middle East.

The $100 million film is the follow-up to Bad Boys for Life, which opened to $62 million domestically in January 2022 on its way to earning $426 million at the global box office before theaters were shut due to the pandemic. The Bad Boys series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Smith and Lawrence return as Miami cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, who have to go on the run after their late police captain gets linked to drug cartels, and they attempt to clear his name. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (billed as Adil & Bilall) directed Bad Boys: Ride or Die from a script written by Chris Bremner and Will Beall.

The film marks the first major theatrical push for Smith since he accosted Chris Rock during the live telecast of the 2022 Oscars (which was seemingly addressed in the film).
The Hollywood Reporter learned that Smith’s agents at CAA have been calling studio production execs in recent weeks for the first time since the slap to explore possible projects, with the hope that the actor’s next film can be announced quickly after the release of Ride or Die, should it perform.

It’s good weekend for Sony Pictures Motion Group CEO Tom Rothman, whose studio also commanded the second box office spot with the modestly budgeted The Garfield Movie, which earned another $10 million domestically and $15.3 million overseas for a global tally of nearly $200 million, or $192.7 million, against a net budget of $60 million before marketing.

John Krasinski and Paramount’s original fantasy comedy IF continued to display strong staying power after opening to modest numbers a month ago. The pic, starring Ryan Reynolds, placed No. 3 domestically with $8 million. Overseas, it earned another $6.2 million for a global tally of $160.7 million.

Opening in fourth place was Ishana Night Shyamalan’s The Watchers. The supernatural thriller, produced by the director’s father M. Night Shyamalan, grossed $7 million.
Disney and 20th Century’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes rounded out the top five with $5.4 million as it grew its global total to $359.8 million, the best of the summer so far.

‘I Wouldn’t Do That to My Enemy’: Kim Porter’s Father Disgusted Over Violent Diddy Video
Popular music mogul Sean Diddy Combs has been making headlines recently due to ongoing allegations of sexual assault and abuse from multiple women he has been involved with in the past. The latest developments have intensified scrutiny and raised questions about his conduct, particularly after a disturbing video surfaced.

On May 17, 2024, CNN released footage showing Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel room. The video captures the harrowing moments where Diddy is seen grabbing, shoving, and kicking Ventura as she attempts to escape and calls for help. This footage has provided visual confirmation of the allegations made by Ventura, indicating that Diddy may indeed be guilty of the accusations.

In a recent development, Jake Porter, the father of the late Kim Porter, who had an on-and-off relationship with Diddy from 1994 to 2007, expressed his disgust after viewing the violent video involving Cassie Ventura. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Porter did not hold back his revulsion.

“You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that,” Porter stated. “It was despicable. I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.”
Porter clarified that while he never witnessed Diddy physically harm his daughter Kim, the video has shifted his perspective on Diddy’s character. He expressed shock and disappointment, saying, “I didn’t know he could stoop that low. I imagine it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie.”

Kim Porter, who was the mother of Diddy’s son Christian and twin daughters Jesse and D’Lila, had a tumultuous relationship with Diddy, largely marred by his alleged infidelity. Kim also had a son, Quincy, with the singer Al B. Sure. She and Diddy split up due to his infidelity and other issues before her untimely death on November 15, 2018, from lobar pneumonia in California.

Porter commented on their relationship, noting, “They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate. Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love, you know what I mean? I really don’t think he has any idea what love is.”
Jake Porter’s primary concern now lies with his grandchildren, who have not publicly commented on their father’s legal issues. Despite the troubling revelations, Diddy has attempted to address the situation, apologizing in an Instagram video following the release of the assault footage.
As the allegations against Diddy continue to unfold, the music industry and his fans are left grappling with the implications of these serious accusations. The impact on his career and personal life remains to be seen, but the gravity of the situation has undoubtedly cast a shadow over his legacy.

US Tennis Phenom Coco Gauff wins 1st Grand Slam doubles title at French Open
Coco Gauff is a Grand Slam champion in singles and doubles, something she did not expect to happen so soon.
The 20-year-old American won her first major doubles title on Sunday by teaming with Katerina Siniakova for the French Open trophy. They defeated Italians Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani 7-6 (5), 6-3, giving Gauff her second major after winning the U.S. Open singles last year.

"I think it's just one of those things that when you least expect it to happen, it happens," Gauff said, reflecting on her doubles triumph.
Victory finally came for Gauff in her third women's doubles final, having been the runner-up in championship matches at Roland Garros in 2022 and the US Open in 2021.

"After I lost the first two (doubles) finals, I thought, well, okay, I reached that point, maybe I should focus on singles," Gauff said. "Same thing, US Open. When I won it, I didn't expect to win. I was having a really bad year. Then here, I didn't even expect to play. I think it's funny how life teaches you those lessons."

Gauff and Siniakova, who is from the Czech Republic, both kissed the Coupe Simonne Mathieu -- the winners' trophy.
"Third time's a charm. Thank you, Katerina, for playing with me. We decided two days before the tournament to play together," Gauff said. "Thank you to the fans. I know 11:30 Sunday morning is early for most people. It's early for me."

The doubles final was held before the men's singles final later Sunday between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev.
"I would much rather play before the men's final than after it, because that could go seven hours. 11:30 was fine. It was just a joke, because I don't like waking up early," Gauff said. "I think it was good the tournament scheduled us before that match."

Paolini was also the runner-up in the singles final at Roland Garros to four-time champion Iga Swiatek on Saturday. Swiatek beat Gauff in the singles semifinal.

"The last two weeks were very nice, very emotional," Paolini said. "I have a lot of memories. I can't wait to be back."
Siniakova owns a career Slam in women's doubles alongside partner Barbora Krejcikova and has won eight majors -- including the French Open in 2018 and 2021.

Errani also owns a career Slam in doubles alongside her former partner Roberta Vinci. The Italian pair won the French Open title in 2012 -- the year Errani lost the singles final.

"It's really special to be in this court again. I don't know how many more years I have to play. But it's always special to play these kinds of matches," the 37-year-old Errani said. "It will be special to play the Olympics here in this place. So I'll see you in one month."

Paolini was playing in her first final in women's doubles.
Errani's serve was broken twice in the first set, and Paolini stayed on the baseline to compensate in the 11th game. The tactic worked as Errani held serve.
Gauff and Siniakova took the first set when Errani's volley at the net went long and raced to a 4-1 lead in the second set, with Paolini 0-30 down on her serve.

The Italians fought back to 4-3 with a service game to follow, but Errani's serve was broken again and their momentum was lost.

Foul Play Ruled Out In Michael Mosley's Death
Coroner has ruled out foul play in the tragic death of Michael Mosley. While a cause of death has not been officially determined, the coroner found no suspicious things after initial examination, the Daily Mail has reported.
A spokesman for the coroner said on Sunday, June 9, "It looks like it was a fall but we need establish whether he had a medical episode before that and it will take time." The cause of death is still pending further tests.

Meanwhile, CCTV footage appears to capture the moment Michael falling while walking down a rocky hillside, close to where his body was discovered. According to reports, footage found by a beach bar at Agia Marina shows what appears to be the famous TV doctor making his way down a rocky slope close to a fence before he falls out of view. His body was discovered by the fence of the Agia Marina resort in Symi.

A Greek cameraman, who discovered Michael's body while he was on a boat, has spoken out. He said he initially thought he saw had seen something in the rocks. Once returning to the marina, he looked carefully at his footage before realizing what what he was looking at.

"There was the body. He was laying down with his hand on his belly and he's carrying his bag in his other hand," he said. He suspected that the TV doctor fainted in the extreme heat on his way to the beach resort.
"I think he was planning to get down and got tired, dizzy, I don't know... sat down and fainted, that's my guess," the cameraman said. "This is a very, very sad ending for him and his family."

At the time of Michael's death, temperatures had reached highs of 37 degrees while there was little shade on the rocky hillside where he lost his way.

Confirming Michael's death four days after he was reported missing, his wife Clare Mosley said in a statement, "It's devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind, and brilliant husband. We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much and were so happy together." She said his family had taken comfort in the fact that he "very nearly made it" to safety.

Black Birdwatcher Christian Cooper Wins Emmy Four Years After Viral “Central Park Karen” Encounter

Four years ago, Christian Cooper was an avid birdwatcher whose life was thrust into the spotlight after an encounter with a white woman, Amy Cooper (of no relation), in a New York park, which became a viral example of racial profiling.

On Saturday (June 8), he became a Daytime Emmy Award winner in the Outstanding Daytime Personality category for his National Geographic show, “Extraordinary Birder,” all by following his passion. In his acceptance speech, he acknowledged that the accomplishment had been an unexpected journey, noting his queer upbringing in the 1970s and him being one of the few Black birdwatchers for years. “No matter what anybody says or does, we are not going back. We will only move forward together,” he said.

However, his journey was not without obstacles as demonstrated by his run-in with Amy, who became known as “Central Park Karen” for using her whiteness and air of entitlement to falsely accuse the Black man of harming her and subsequently putting his life in danger.

On May 25, 2020, he was in a wooded area known as the Ramble of Central Park watching birds when Amy interrupted his quiet pursuit by yelling for her unleashed dog. The Harvard alum asked her to leash her dog as park rules prohibit citizens from allowing their canines to roam freely. Instead of complying, the insurance portfolio manager became irate, informing him that she was going to call the police.

As she called 911, she threatened the esteemed writer and editor, whose work includes contributing to Marvel comics, by saying, "I'm going to tell them there's an African American man threatening my life." Christian captured the moment and more on his phone. It was shared on social media by his sister and quickly spread.

The following day, the woman was fired from her job at Franklin Templeton Investments. And as fate would have it, Christian's experience — which took place on the same day as the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd — led to the opportunity of a lifetime, his own show, which premiered in 2023.
He also penned a book, “Better Living Through Birding: Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World” and drew inspiration from the incident for the graphic novel “It’s A Bird,” that appeared in the first edition of DC Comics digital comic series “Represent!”

Meghan McCain Slams Jennifer Lopez As 'Deeply Unpleasant' Amid Raging Divorce Rumors
Meghan McCain is not holding back in her critique of Jennifer Lopez, branding the pop icon as
As rumors of trouble in paradise between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck dominate the headlines, Meghan McCain's sharp remarks have only added fuel to the already blazing gossip mill.
Known for her forthright opinions, McCain recounted an unpleasant encounter with J.Lo during an episode of the daytime talk show.

According to the political commentator, J.Lo displayed diva-like behavior when she appeared on "The View," where McCain co-hosted from 2017 to 2021.
"She had the biggest entourage I've ever seen. More than Kim Kardashian and the president. I just don't really understand why it was needed," McCain recalled.

On the June 7 episode of her podcast, "Citizen McCain," she elaborated on her experience, saying, "I, too, have similar negative stories that everyone else does."
While McCain expressed mixed feelings regarding J.Lo's behavior, she also acknowledged a concern about the growing negativity towards the singer.

"I feel bad because we're turning a point where there's bullying happening to J.Lo. She just is a deeply unpleasant person," McCain stated, not holding back.
Per The New York Post, adding to the tension, McCain remarked further on J.Lo's appearance on "The View," saying:

"She was not nice. You don't always have to be so nice, but it was just surprising given that people like Kim Kardashian  could be more delightful. And when you're coming on a show for a 10-minute segment. Just fake it till you make it for 10 f–king minutes."
The 39-year-old and her co-host Miranda Wilkins discussed how J.Lo allegedly targeted their podcast after they posted a critical TikTok clip in April.

McCain claimed, "She had our video taken down," before noting that the video was eventually restored on TikTok. However, this this not stop Wilkins from pointing out that they were "beefing with her right now."

Caitlin Clark Reacts to Being Left OFF Team USA Roster for Paris Olympics

USA Basketball’s roster for the women’s Olympic basketball team that will chase gold in Paris this summer will not include WNBA rookie sensation Caitlin Clark, according to CNN sports analyst Christine Brennan.
Brennan wrote in USA Today, citing three unnamed sources, that Clark’s omission from the team was due in part to “concern over how Clark’s millions of fans would react to what would likely be limited playing time on a stacked roster.”

CNN has reached out to USA Basketball for comment but did not immediately hear back. Speaking to reporters at a practice on Sunday, Clark said she wasn’t disappointed with the decision, adding, “I think it gives you something to work for, you know, it’s a dream.”

Clark added: “Hopefully one day I can be there and I think it’s just a little more motivation. You remember that and, you know, hopefully in four years, when four years comes back around … I can be there,” she said.
The 22-year-old, who is coming off a 30-point performance, including seven three-pointers, in the Indiana Fever’s victory over the Washington Mystics Friday, said she was excited for the players on the team and will be “rooting them on to win gold.”

“I was a kid that grew up watching the Olympics, so yeah, it’ll be fun to watch them,” Clark said.
The roster is expected to include WNBA stars and past Olympic champions Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi, Breanna Stewart, and nine others. Last year, Griner said she would “never go overseas again” to play basketball – unless it’s for the Olympics – after being detained in Russia.
