#MAGFAB: Gwen Stefani for Nylon Magazine!

Gwen Stefani is officially no longer ageing as she unveiled her most futuristic photoshoot yet, ahead of her upcoming stint at Coachella 2024.
Music fans were sent into meltdown when the annual festival’s line-up was announced, confirming that No Doubt would be reuniting for two performances.
Although Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat are serving as headliners, there is no doubt about who everyone is most excited about seeing.
On Saturday evening, the 54-year-old will be joining bandmates Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young on stage at Indio, California, for the first of two weekend sets – before doing it all again in a few days time.
Before belting out some of their biggest hits, the Sweet Escape singer posed up a storm for Nylon Magazine, surrounded by a selection of mannequins.

In one snap, the mom-of-three looked younger than ever as she stood in a see-through tube, donning a stunning nude, sequined jumpsuit, complete with feathers across the chest and silver strands on the trouser cuffs.
Another image saw her rock an intricate red and white patterned mini-dress, finished off with long, dramatic sleeves.

Speaking to the outlet, Gwen shed light on reuniting with her former bandmates for Coachella – and explained that they had already discussed getting back on stage together before the offer came through.
It has been a whopping three decades since No Doubt’s self-titled debut album hit the charts, spawning the incredible banger, Trapped In A Box.
R&B icons expecting their first baby together after decades-long rollercoaster romance
Nine years after they went their separate ways, in 2015, they will be giving us all a much-needed dose of nostalgia with two stunning performances.
Despite having all eyes on them on Saturday, the Don’t Speak icon confessed that they still ‘haven’t really hung out or done anything’ in terms of rehearsing.

Gwen explained that the two weekend stints are ‘going to be a really nice bow to tie on the relationship, because we were kids [when we met].
‘I already know what it’s going to feel like because we’re just so in sync when we’re onstage. It’s going to feel like riding a bike again. We’re going to be laughing, and we’re going to look at each other and go, “Oh my gosh — there you are.”’

She remained coy on their future plans, insisting that she is ‘open to anything’ – but just wants to concentrate on being ‘present in the moment’.

#RHOA: Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge Want Shereé Whitfield Back on RHOA

News about Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been extremely tardy for the party. However, that’s not stopping fans from pushing for their favorite peach holders to return.
As you know, Bravo has been focusing all of its efforts on perfecting the cast for Atlanta’s Sweet 16. We found out a while ago that Porsha Williams would return after her short break. Kenya Moore also confirmed her return, saying she may be gone with the wind but wouldn’t be going anywhere just yet.

Another veteran that fans hope will survive the cast shakeup is Shereé Whitfield. She’s an OG known for giving us iconic moments like She By Shereé, epic one-liners, and interesting storylines, like her jailbird boyfriend, Tyrone Gilliams. Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp discussed Atlanta’s hiatus on their podcast and said they believe Ms. September [and/or] Spring/Summer should return.

It’s no secret that Bravo and NBC Universal have been taking their time trying to figure out Atlanta’s future. That’s why the franchise’s longest-running cast member, Kandi Burruss, stepped away after Season 15. “It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long,” she said in February. “But during that time, I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things.”

During their podcast, Tamra reported that Shereé’s role is still being figured out but admitted she “loves” the RHOA OG.
Teddi agreed, saying Shereé brings fun energy, stirs the pot, and can “laugh at herself.”
They added that not every Housewife can produce an explosive storyline each season. “We need people that are funny,” Teddi said. “We need funny and Shereé is funny.”

#HipHopNews: YoungBoy Never Broke Again Arrested In Utah On Identity Fraud, Gun, And Drug Charges
YoungBoy Never Broke Again was arrested in Utah on Tuesday (April 16) and is currently facing multiple felony charges, according to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office. The 24-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was taken into custody at 2:50 p.m. without a set bail.

The charges against YoungBoy included possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and a pattern of unlawful activity, both of which are Class 2 felonies. The Baton Rouge native was also accused of procuring or attempting to procure prescription drugs, identity fraud, forgery, and possession of other controlled substances.

Since 2021, YoungBoy has been under house arrest in Utah while awaiting trial on a separate federal indictment. The case stemmed from a 2020 incident where he and others were apprehended for the alleged possession of illegal drugs and weapons during a music video shoot.

Despite the aforementioned legal challenges, a federal judge modified his home confinement conditions in December 2023. The changes allowed him access to mental health treatment, although his request for increased studio time was denied.
“Being confined to his home and unable to complete his employment obligations has led to great anxiety, depression, [and] loss of weight and sleep,” the rapper’s lawyer, James P. Manasseh, shared in their initial plea to lighten the conditions. “[YoungBoy Never Broke Again] has been visibly stressed and has expressed concern and loss of hope that he will be able to return to his contracted employment obligation.”

Nonetheless, YoungBoy hasn’t slowed down much musically. This year, he released singles like “Boat,” “We shot him in his head huh,” “No Time,” and “Steppa,” among others. In 2023, the artist debuted four projects: Decided 2, Richest Opp, Don’t Try This At Home, and I Rest My Case. The first-mentioned body of work notably contained a lone feature from former collaborator Rod Wave.

Ashanti Confirms Pregnancy Rumors, Announces Engagement To Nelly

Ashanti has not only confirmed that she is pregnant, but she and Nelly are also engaged.
In a sponsored post by Proov—an at-home fertility testing company in which they co-own—the singer is seen getting ready for a show backstage. Her mom/manager, Tina Douglas, enters and asks how much more time is needed. To which she replies, “Imma need about nine months.” The response had her mother’s jaw on the floor.

Ashanti, 43, captioned the video, “Baby baby baby baby….” It was an adorably fitting reference to her 2002 classic of the same name.
Of the news of her upcoming nuptials and baby, she tells ESSENCE, “This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope, and anticipation. Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé, and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience.”

Under previous throwback posts from earlier this month, some criticized Ashanti, accusing her of “pulling a Halle [Bailey]” meaning that she was hiding her obvious pregnancy.

However, others rushed to Ashanti’s defense. One commented, “I’m crying laughing cause if she is actually pregnant I love the petty! Cause I’d post every picture in my phone except what y’all looking for.” Another replied, “Y’all need to stop pressuring people to do something they clearly do not want to do.

If y’all already know, who cares if she confirms it or not?”
After a source reportedly close to Nelly and Ashanti confirmed the pregnancy to US Weekly back in December, her mom unintentionally cosigned the report months later. During a panel discussion this past March, one host extended her well wishes to the couple through Douglas.

She quickly corrected them by stating, “There’s been no announcement, it hasn’t come out yet, so, you know, until I hear it from Ashanti and Nelly…”
This would be Ashanti’s first child with her longtime love. The pair reunited a decade after their first on-off, nearly 10-year romance. Nelly has two children—a 29-year-old daughter, Chanelle and a 24-year-old son, Cornell Haynes III—from a previous relationship. He adopted his niece and nephew, Shawn and Sydney Thomas, after his sister, Jackie Donahue, died of leukemia in 2005.

Jontay Porter Gets Banned From The NBA For Gambling Violations

Jontay Porter has been banned from the NBA for violating its gambling rules. An investigation surrounding the Toronto Raptors player revealed he had disclosed confidential information to bettors, bet on NBA games while playing in the G League, and limited his participation in at least one game while he was with the Raptors, per ESPN.

The basketball league released a statement that provides details about the 24-year-old athlete’s violations. The investigation reportedly commenced in March after sportsbooks “noticed irregular betting on the over/under on the reserve center’s statistics in two Raptors games.” It was found that Porter used an associate’s online betting account to place at least 13 bets on NBA games — which ranged from $15 to $22,000, totaling $54,094. The statement said the total payout from those bets was $76,059, totaling net winnings of $21,965.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver reiterated the importance of the NBA’s gambling rules, saying, “There is nothing more important than protecting the integrity of NBA competition for our fans, our teams, and everyone associated with our sport, which is why Jontay Porter’s blatant violations of our game rules are being met with the most severe punishment.” View the statement below.

“This matter also raises important issues about the sufficiency of the regulatory framework currently in place, including the types of bets offered on our games and players,” Silver added. “Working closely with all relevant stakeholders across the industry, we will continue to work diligently to safeguard our league and game.”

Reactions from fans started flooding in, with some expressing disappointment, while others joked about the situation. “Place your bets NOW on who will receive the NBA’s next lifetime ban: Draymond Green -250; Patrick Beverley +200; Michael Porter Jr. +500,” one user commented on X.

Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN Senior NBA Insider, highlighted one of the most shocking parts of the announcement, writing, “Most damning for Porter and the NBA itself: He bet the Raptors to lose, according to the league’s investigation.”
Porter is a basketball center and power forward who balled for Iowa State University and Missouri. He declared for the NBA Draft in 2019 and wound up playing for the Memphis Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors over the next four years. He has an his older brother, Michael Porter Jr., who is currently with the Denver Nuggets, and two older sisters, Bri and Cierra.

50 Cent Bewildered By Diddy And Reginald VelJohnson Gay Rumor

While Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has been laying low amid his legal issues, more people have been talking about him. Most recently, a man claimed that the hip-hop mogul had a sexual relationship with actor Reginald VelJohnson.
The rumor originated from a podcast called "Drinx with Ginx", where a guest told a story when he allegedly caught Diddy having sex with Reginald, who played Carl Winslow on "Family Matters". The guest named Luce Cannon said it all went down at a party he attended, but he did not mention the specific location and when it allegedly happened.

"When Diddy f**ked Carl Winslow, we was at the party," Luce began recalling. "And you know, we just chilling and s**t. Everybody know me. I'm a goofy n***a, I'm funny and stuff like that. So, I hear a n***a just wearing out some s**t ... I'm like, 'Who's wearing this b***h out?' N***a, I kicked in the door. Boom! Kick in the door, n***a, I seen-I look, I seen Carl Winslow put his head up ... I swear to God [on] dead homie, Neighborhood Crip."

He continued, "When I seen that cuz, right, Diddy came back. And he was telling me, he was like, 'It's nothing more enjoyable than having a man do something for some money.' I'm like cuz that s**t crazier than a motherf**ker."
50 Cent caught wind of the report and did not let it slide. The "In da Club" spitter, who has been trolling Diddy since the latter was hit with multiple lawsuits and sex trafficking allegations, posted a screenshot of Media Take Out's report and wrote in the caption, "Ok this is, this is , this is I'm not sure what to say anymore. So Diddy was playing with Carls booty too LOL( I NEED A DRINK GUY'S)."

Previously, producer Lil Rod claimed in his lawsuit that Diddy had a sexual relationship with Meek Mill, who has vehemently denied it. "No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place don't get flipped... woke up seeing this on every blog like they know I'm coming! Lol," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter, in February.

SZA Gets Massive Ovation After Expressing Solidarity With Palestine At New Zealand Show
International stars are using their platforms to raise awareness about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, calling for an end to violence and human rights abuses. SZA, currently one of the music industry's biggest stars, recently expressed her support for freeing Palestine during a concert in New Zealand. She received a massive ovation when she declared, "Free Palestine!" during her performance. SZA's actions follow a trend of celebrities and musicians using their influence to address social and political issues.

In a separate incident, Victoria Monet used her platform at the 2024 Coachella Festival to speak out against war, hate, and genocide. Monet has been a vocal proponent of a ceasefire in Gaza, where the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has resulted in significant human casualties and displacement.

These artists join a growing list of individuals in the entertainment industry who have expressed solidarity with Palestine. Others include Tyler, the Creator, Macklemore, and The Weeknd.
However, the Grammys has faced criticism for its perceived bias in the Israel-Palestine conflict. In October 2023, the Recording Academy, which organizes the Grammys, expressed sympathy only with Israel after a Hamas attack. Many music lovers accused the Academy of overlooking the suffering of civilians in Gaza.

Despite the controversy, calls for an end to violence and a resolution to the conflict continue to resonate. Artists and fans alike are using their voices to demand peace and justice for all those affected by the bloodshed

Red Lobster considering bankruptcy filing
Red Lobster is reportedly considering filing for bankruptcy to relieve financial pressures that have weighed on the company. According to a report by Bloomberg citing people familiar with the discussions, Red Lobster is weighing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing to renegotiate burdensome leases and address other long-term contracts as well as rising labor costs.

The outlet reported that the seafood restaurant chain is being advised by law firm King & Spalding on the subject, and that discussions about restructuring are ongoing and no final decisions have been made about a bankruptcy filing.
By filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the company could continue to operate while it works with creditors and investors to put in place a debt reduction plan that would allow it to head into the future on a better financial footing.

Red Lobster did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The seafood chain has had a variety of owners and major investors since it was founded in 1968 by Bill Darden and Charley Woodsby.
General Mills acquired the company in 1970 and helped it rapidly expand throughout the U.S. and Canada, before spinning it off into an independent publicly traded company called Darden Restaurants over two decades later.
Darden Restaurants sold Red Lobster to Golden Gate Capital in 2014. Thai Union, which previously had a one-fourth stake in the company, bought out Golden Gate's stake in the company in 2020.

Earlier this year, Thai Union announced it was planning to exit its investment in Red Lobster and take a write-off after announcing in a regulatory filing that the restaurant chain's "ongoing financial requirements no longer align with Thai Union's capital allocation priorities."

Red Lobster hired a new CEO last month who specializes in restaurant restructuring and performance improvement plans.
Red Lobster brought in Jonathan Tibus as its new CEO last month. Tibus is considered an expert in developing and implementing restructuring plans at underperforming restaurants, retail and hospitality companies and has led numerous restructuring efforts.

Megan Thee Stallion receives Catalyst of Change Award at 2024 Planned Parenthood gala

On Tuesday (April 16), Planned Parenthood of Greater New York honored Megan Thee Stallion with the 2024 Catalyst of Change Award for her advocacy for women’s rights and health. The achievement was presented at the organization's annual Spring Into Action Gala at Cipriani South Street in Lower Manhattan, which was hosted in support of the nonprofit's initiatives.

Introduced by Planned Parenthood's president, Wendy Stark, Megan took the stage in a black gown to accept her award. She highlighted the critical need for accessible sexual and reproductive healthcare and committed to further advocacy. Musically, Megan is slated to put out her next album soon. She heightened anticipation for its release with singles like “Cobra” and “HISS.”

Simone Biles Addresses Husband Jonathan Owens' Controversial Relationship Comments

Simone Biles is weighing in on husband Jonathan Owens‘ controversial and very viral quote about their relationship. If you missed it, in December the NFL star was asked who was the “catch” in his relationship with the Olympian gymnast. He jokingly said that “men are the catch,” prompting many to believe that he was undermining his wife’s accomplishments.

She supported him at the time but provided a more in-depth response during a recent interview.
While on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Simone made it clear that the interview was never an issue for her.
“I was in the room, I was sitting on the chair. You just couldn’t see me on the videos, I was there for the whole entire video,” she recalled, via Complex. “I was feeling great, like, my man just killed that… They even panned over to me with that viral moment and I just like roll my eyes and laugh.”

Simone was surprised to see the discourse on social media where people were telling her to divorce Jonathan.
“And I’m like, ‘He’s the sweetest.’ He praises the ground that I walk on. Truly, I’ve never met a man like him,” she said.
Simone continued, saying that people on like “take [quotes like that] and run.”

“First of all, that interview had nothing to do with me. It was all for him. So I think they were mad that he didn’t include me in the interview. But he has to have his moments too, and I let him have it. Whenever I go to football games, sometimes I get field passes, but I’m not like ‘Hey, look at me, Simone Biles is here!’ I just want to see my man in that uniform, give me a little kiss, ‘Good luck out there,’” she said.

The star previously revealed that she and Jonathan jokingly fight about how is the better athlete. She also recently celebrated one of his achievements.

Rihanna Says New Songs Are ‘So Good’ She and A$AP Rocky Are Figuring Out ‘Who’s Gonna Use What’
At some point we might need a map to chart all the twists and turns of R9. While journalists, fans and pretty much everyone else has been asking Rihanna when we can expect the long-awaited follow-up to her smash 2016 album Anti, the singer continues to give vague, sometimes contradictory answers about the in-progress project.

Speaking to ET on the red carpet at Wednesday’s (April 17) London launch event for the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty Earth Tone sneaker, Rih was asked if she and partner A$AP Rocky might pull a Beyoncé and include their sons RZA and Riot on her untitled next album.
“It’s up to them,” Rihanna said of her two-year-old first-born with Rocky and their second son, who was born in August. She was, once again, also a bit vague about when we can expect a firm release date for the collection, saying “I wanna know too!” Then, however, after recently suggesting that she hasn’t really started work on recording songs for the album, RihRih made it sound like she’s actually got quite a few tracks to choose from.

“I already got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of,” she said. “Me and Rocky are really trying to figure out who’s gonna use what because it’s so good.”
In a recent chat with Interview magazine, however, the singer said she has “a lot of visual ideas” so far, which isn’t typically how she starts her creative process. “It’s weird. My brain is working backward right now. I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I’m having all of these visuals.”

The bad news, though, was that Rihanna told the mag that she doesn’t yet have the songs to accompany those visuals, but hopefully they’ll come soon. “Maybe the visual ideas are leading me to the songs that I need to make,” she said. In February, Rocky further muddied the waters, teasing at the time that his partner was “working” on the album. In March, Rihanna performed live for the first time in eight years when she took the stage for a pre-wedding celebration for the son of the richest man in Asia.

Melissa Barrera Says Fan Support in Months Since “Scream” Firing Has Been 'So Beautiful'

Barrera spoke to 'ET Online' on April 16 about the support she's received from fans following her firing from 'Scream' in November
Speaking to ET Online on April 16, Barrera revealed that she’s felt the encouragement from fans following her firing from the Scream franchise in November after her social media posts about the Israel-Hamas war.

The actress, who played the role of Samantha Carpenter in the 2022 and 2023 films of the franchise, was due to star in the upcoming Scream VII.
"It's been incredible. It was so unexpected," Barrera told ET Online of her fan’s support. "For some reason, I did not expect to get so much support and to feel like an army behind [me].

“And it was so beautiful,” she added. “I've gotten the chance to go to conventions since and actually meet the fans and continue to hear from them, the support and that they're with me and that they have my back. It's just so special."
Barrera, who stars in the upcoming movie Abigail, told the outlet that the support gives her “so much strength to move forward and keep doing great stuff for them and keep making movies and shows for them and giving them more characters to connect with.”

The Vida alum also opened up about her support from co-star Jenna Ortega, 21, who left the film a day after Barrera’s firing was announced.
Ortega played the role of Barrera’s character’s younger sister Tara.
"We chatted for a while, and I love her so much,” Barrera told The Hollywood Reporter in March. "She’s been very supportive of me, and we’re sisters for life.”

When Barrera was fired, the studio behind the franchise, Spyglass, said in a statement that it had "zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form."
Barrera then stated that she was using her platform "to raise awareness about issues I care about and to lend my voice to those in need," and added, "I condemn Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia. I condemn hate and prejudice of any kind against any group of people."

*Rumors of a split between Halle Bailey and rapper boyfriend DDG are swirling after fans noticed they stopped following each other on social media.
According to RadarOnline.com, Bailey and her baby daddy no longer follow each other on Instagram. Fueling speculation, the duo has seemingly removed most of their couple photos from their respective accounts. DDG was noticeably absent at Halle’s Coachella performance this past weekend.

DDJ and Halle made their Instagram debut as a couple in March 2022. They welcomed their first child, a son named Halo, in December.

“The Little Mermaid” star kept a low profile during her pregnancy and remained coy when fans pressed her on social media about pregnancy rumors.
Bailey recently hosted a Q&A on Snapchat, and one fan asked, “Was the [sic] blogs and cameras stressful while pregnant?”

As Complex reports, the singer replied, “So this is a good question. I mean, a little bit, but honestly I stayed off of all social media. I really tried to, just to keep myself sane and okay.”
Bailey continued, “I know that there was a lot of people who would always, like, comment and be like, ‘We know, girl, we know.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s great that you know. But I’m gonna just chill, you know, and that’s wonderful if you support me, and if not, that’s okay too. I hope you have a wonderful life.”

DDG (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) recently gushed about co-parenting with Halle, Radar reports.
“I wouldn’t choose no other person in the world to have a child with. We learning. She’s a great mom. Like it’s crazy. She’s amazing,” he said.

Dubai Receives Two Years’ Worth of Rain in 24 Hours Causing Severe Flooding

The United Arab Emirates endured its most substantial rainfall in 75 years, sparking chaos as select regions received approximately 6.26 inches of rain in 24 hours.

Numerous users in the area posted videos on social media showing severe flooding, toppled palm trees, and damaged buildings.
Due to the heavy rainfall, numerous flights were canceled, traffic came to a standstill, and schools shut down. Rainfall was also reported in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, but the UAE experienced the most severe conditions.

According to the World Meteorological Organization, Dubai typically receives an average of 3.12 inches of rain annually. This means that the amount of rain that fell in just 24 hours was equivalent to two years’ worth of rainfall.
Tuesday’s rainfall is being described as “a historic weather event,” surpassing any recorded data since data collection began in 1949.
