#RHOA: HOT or NOT? Cynthia Bailey in a Metallic Fishnet Dress at Beyoncé Concert
Since joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2010, the model/entrepreneur has delivered many incredible style moments ranging from avant-garde to traditional. Cynthia’s sartorial choices have not only highlighted her eclectic taste but also proved she can pull off almost anything.
Not convinced? Just look at the outfits she’s rocked throughout 2023. There was the classic black dress she wore to a pre-Grammy gala; the bold, ruffled Jovani gown she debuted at the Atlanta Ballet ball; the glamorous sequined blazer mini she chose for a friend’s birthday party; and the sexy cutout corset dress she wore to a movie screening.
Each ensemble was amazing in its own unique way, but none of them were as playful as the outfit she chose for her latest concert night. On Saturday, September 2, Cynthia headed to Inglewood, California, for night two of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stop at SoFi Stadium. And needless to say, the Atlanta mom slayed.
“Can you guess where I’m going tonight for my outfit?” she said in an Instagram Story. “About to get in trouble tonight! You already know I’m not gonna get any rest. I’m with my daughter, Noelle [Robinson].”
Cynthia Bailey and Her Daughter, Noelle, Take Fans Inside Their “Sunday Night In”
Cynthia attended the event in a long-sleeved metallic fishnet dress layered over a black bodysuit. She accessorized with a sequined shirt wrapped around her waist, a stack of silver bracelets, a white cowboy hat with rhinestone details, and a pair of silver boots.
“Cyn-sational vibes,” she captioned an outfit post.
The getup drew compliments from fans, friends, and fellow Bravolebrities, including The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan, The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Margaret Josephs. RHOA’s Kandi Burruss also left a series of flame emojis, while RHOA OG Shereé Whitfield wrote, “Forever that girl.”
#MusicNews: Halle Bailey Confirms Debut Solo EP Is ‘Definitely’ Coming ‘Before the End of the Year’
Last month (Aug. 4), Bailey unleashed her debut solo single, a gospel and jazz-tinged empowerment anthem titled “Angel.” In her Cosmo interview, the multitalented artist touched on how her recent life experiences have influenced the creation of her upcoming project. “Ariel was my college experience. She was the one to say, ‘Look, look what you have in you. You can.’ Nettie was the same type of lesson, almost in a spiritual way. These characters are speaking to me and teaching me,” she said. “It’s cool to learn things about life through their eyes. And all musical inspiration really just comes from life experiences. Love has been a really big one for me too, because that’s something I’m experiencing for the first time.”
This winter Bailey will star as Young Nettie in the film adaptation of The Color Purple musical directed by Blitz Bazawule and produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Scott Sanders and Quincy Jones. The Color Purple, which is currently slated for release on Christmas Day, will also star Fantasia Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Ciara, H.E.R., Aunjanue Ellis, Colman Domingo, Danielle Brooks and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi.
The film will mark the second cinematic event that Bailey has lent her talents to this year. A few months ago, she starred as Princess Ariel in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, which grossed more than $118 million during its opening weekend, which happened over Memorial Day. Bailey also blessed the Rob Marshall-helmed film’s hit soundtrack with her inimitable voice, treating audiences to stunning renditions of Little Mermaid classics such as “Part of Your World” and impressive new songs including “For the First Time.”
“This has been a really beautiful transformative time for me. I have all this new material to write about,” she gushed. “I was very creatively inspired, and then from there, I fell in love. And so I really just played with those themes in my music. Sound-wise, it’s a little modern R&B-ish, with all the jazz elements and hints of pop that I love.”
Once her EP arrives later this year, both members of Chloe x Halle will have officially released solo projects. Older sister Chloe Bailey, known mononymously as Chlöe, released In Pieces, her debut solo studio album, earlier this year. Featuring singles such as “Pray It Away” and the Chris Brown-assisted “How Does It Feel,” In Pieces peaked at No. 119 on the Billboard 200.
As a duo, Chloe x Halle have earned two entries on the Billboard 200: 2018’s The Kids Are Alright (No. 139) and 2020’s Ungodly Hour (No. 16). They have also earned one entry on the Billboard Hot 100: “Do It” (No. 63), the lead single from Ungodly Hour.
#HipHopNews: Diddy To Receive MTV's Global Icon Award At 2023 VMAs
MTV revealed that Sean “Diddy” Combs will be bestowed with the Global Icon Award at this year’s Video Music Awards. Airing live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET, the ceremony holds particular significance for the music mogul. It will mark his first live performance on the VMAs stage since 2005.
Established in 2021, the Global Icon Award became MTV’s supreme accolade for artists whose impact transcends borders. The “Gotta Move On” hitmaker is slated to join the elite club, following previous winners Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Earlier in his career, the musician was known as the mastermind behind the inception of Bad Boy Records in 1993. Fast forward to today, he’s not only nurtured legendary talents like the late Notorious B.I.G. but also thrived as an artist in his own right. Diddy’s discography boasts two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and five chart-topping singles on the Hot 100.
Adding to the excitement, Diddy’s upcoming album The Love Album: Off the Grid is set to release just days after his VMAs appearance. It will contain features from Jazmine Sullivan, Summer Walker, Ty Dolla $ign, Coco Jones, Mary J. Blige, and several more. Last month, headlines broke that The Weeknd’s final guest appearance is slated to be on the LP.
This year, the New York native also garnered four VMAs nominations. His tracks “Creepin’ (Remix)” featuring Metro Boomin, Weeknd, and 21 Savage; and “Gotta Move On (Queens Remix)” with Bryson Tiller, Ashanti, and Yung Miami both compete for the Best Collaboration category. Additionally, the former record contends for Best R&B, while the latter vies for Best Hip Hop.
In 1997, Diddy first took the MTV stage while delivering a touching tribute to Biggie just months after his tragic passing. Moreover, he hosted the Video Music Awards and even the Europe Music Awards in the early 2000s. His return to the event this time comes amid whispers of a 50th anniversary salute to hip hop.
Sam Asghari Unfollows Britney Spears On Instagram After Filing For Divorce
Sam Asghari has unfollowed Britney Spears on Instagram. The fitness trainer filed for divorce from the "Toxic" hitmaker three weeks ago and it seems he has taken further steps to distance himself from the 41-year-old pop star because he is no longer monitoring her activity on the platform.
According to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column, the 29-year-old actor has been on an unfollowing spree over the last few days and has trimmed the number of accounts he followed from 327 down to 240, with his estranged wife's page among those on his axe list. At the time of writing, Britney is still following Sam.
The "Gimme More" singer has been very active on the platform since her conservatorship was lifted almost two years ago, and in the last week alone, she has shared various saucy videos and raunchy images with fans.
Over the weekend, Britney posted a video in which she whipped off her top while out riding a horse. She wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of her riding bare back, "I had to take my top off in the f**king desert!!!"
Britney then added, "I should have gone naked!!!" The "Sometimes" singer wore only a cowboy hat, white jean shorts and a black choker necklace in the latest of her posts showing her nude.
Last month, she shared a steamy video of herself rolling around in bed topless in only pink underwear and knee-high boots as Annie Lennox's "I Put a Spell on You" played.
Soon after she posted a clip of a male friend licking her leg, the same day she first publicly addressed Sam's divorce filing. She said on Instagram, "As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together."
"Six years is a long time to be with someone so, I'm a little shocked but... I'm not here to explain why because its honestly nobody's business!!!" Britney shared. She added she "couldn't take the pain anymore" of their relationship and signed off by saying she was doing "pretty damn good."
Sam had broken his silence two days earlier, saying online, "After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always."
Tom Brady Sparks Botox Rumors After Debuting New Look
The quarterback was front and center in a new NFL ad to promote kicking off the 2023 season, but Instagram users couldn't believe how different the dad-of-three looked, with many accusing him of going under the knife.
Though the clip is merely 15 seconds long, the athlete's smoothed out facial features had everyone talking.
"Dude needs to chill on the plastic surgery," one person commented on the upload, while another dubbed him "Botox Brady."
"The plastic surgery is creepy," said a third, while one Instagram user called his look "Botox city.
Brady, 46, hasn't responded to the buzz, and has instead been focusing on family life and his new romance with model Irina Shayk.

Rihanna’s cousin Tanella Alleyne passes away at 28
Loop Barbados reported that Tanella Alleyne, a cousin of Rihanna’s, passed away and was laid to rest in a packed homegoing celebration. During the live-streamed ceremony, the 28-year-old’s adoptive mother, Julie-Ann Bryan, called her “bold and courageous” during an emotional eulogy. “Tanella lived a life of gratitude with an outrageous amount of attitude, sprinkled heavily with confidence,” Bryan said in regard to her late daughter, whose twin sister, Taneisha Alleyne, transitioned 14 years ago.
In addition, Bryan explained how Tanella received a CT scan which revealed “a big black mass.” While no actual cause of death was officially confirmed, it was relayed to the congregation that Tanella described the unfortunate discovery as the equivalent of “a big black 4×4.”
“If it is one thing that we all know, but we may not think about a lot, is that death is inevitable for everyone,” preached Reverend Suzanne Archer during her funeral sermon. “Yet, despite this knowledge and the fact that you have lost several members of the family before, including her mother, brother and twin sister, you never seem to be prepared for it, especially when the deceased is so young.”
In 2017, Tanella’s brother, Tavon Alleyne, was tragically shot and killed at the age of 21. “Me and my brother had a mother and father relationship,” Tanella explained in the above interview with The Nation Barbados shortly after his passing. “We lost our mother [when I was] seven years old and my father was never playing his part… Anything Tavon say, Tavon gonna do, but he [was never] looking for no trouble.” At that time, Rihanna paid tribute to Tavon in a heartfelt Instagram post. “RIP cousin… Can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body! Love you always man!” she wrote.
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Go Public With Romance at Beyoncé Concert
The gossip about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet seems to be true. The rumored couple took their romance public at Beyoncé's concert on Monday in Los Angeles. Video posted by TMZ shows them kissing and holding hands in the VIP section.
The pair hung out with Jenner’s sister, Kendall, as well as Lori Harvey, Justine Skye, and Justin and Hailey Bieber. Adele, Zendaya, and Kim Kardashian were also in VIP.
In April, a black Range Rover SUV reportedly belonging to Kylie was photographed outside Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home. It was rumored on celebrity gossip Instagram account Deux Moi that they had been dating since January.
That same week, the two were spotted getting tacos, with TMZ reports that Kylie picked up Chalamet after going to an art show. Her driver took them to Tito’s Tacos, where her security details grabbed the food order and brought it back to the SUV. “Security kept a tight detail outside the car for about 30 minutes before they drove away,” sources told the outlet at the time.
Earlier this summer, fans thought that Travis Scott dissed Chalamet on the Utopia track “Meltdown.” At the end of the song’s second verse, the Houston native references Willy Wonka, a character Chalamet is set to play in the film Wonka.
"Wrappin' the cheese, wrap around me 'cause I've got property (Wrap, cheese, wrap) / Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs) / Burn a athlete like it's calories, find another flame hot as me, bitch," he raps.

Gary Busey accused of hit-and-run in Malibu
Actor Gary Busey is under investigation for an alleged hit-and-run along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
According to Entertainment Weekly, a woman claims Busey, 79, crashed into her back bumper while exiting a Malibu shopping center last Wednesday, and then he drove away.
The case is being investigated by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. A spokesperson for the station told EW that Busey was named in the hit-and-run report filed last week by a woman who claimed that he hit her vehicle.
TMZ posted a video recorded by the alleged victim that shows her chasing down and confronting “The Buddy Holly Story” actor after the collision.
“You hit my car,” she shouts at Busey, who turns to look at her. “I need your information. Sir! You hit my car!”
The woman told the site that Busey did eventually pull over but refused to exchange information, and drove off once again.
Under state law, leaving the scene of a minor collision like this can qualify as a misdemeanor.
This incident comes about a year after Busey was charged with sexual offenses at the annual Monster Mania Convention held in a Philadelphia suburb.
UPDATE: Police Officer Who Was Caught On Camera Kissing Woman Has Been Suspended
Oop! Looks like the Prince George’s County Police officer has been suspended after the department launched an investigation into a viral video that showed the officer kissing a woman at a park near a school.
The department announced Officer, Francesco Marlett was suspended from his job after the viral video surfaced all over social media. PGPD also released a statement about the incident that read:
“PGPD Executive Command is aware of a video circulating on social media with one of our officers. As soon as we became aware earlier today, we opened an investigation to determine the circumstances. Additional information will be released once investigated and confirmed,” the department said Tuesday afternoon.
The person who allegedly filmed the video, identified as Nelson, told Baltimore Banner that the cop and the woman stayed inside the cruiser for about 40 minutes before leaving the park separately. “It was concerning because there’s kids around,” he said. “It just seemed off because if this is the person that you’re supposed to call for suspicious activity doing the suspicious activity, you know.”
Come to find out out, a local news nation reported that this marks Marlett’s second suspension. He was suspended for a month in May after being accused of domestic violence, returning to duty the next month. Previously, in 2016, he was charged with child abuse after allegedly knocking a 3-year-old unconscious. Those charges were dropped and his record expunged.
