#RHOA: Sanya Richards-Ross Just Announced the Sex of Her Second Child
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member dropped the exciting news via Instagram on Friday (September 2), nearly two months after announcing her pregnancy. Sanya — who also shares a 6-year-old son with her husband, Aaron Ross — teased the big reveal on Thursday, September 1, when she posted a video of her and her family on the track field.

“Are you ready, Buddy,” Aaron asked his son, Aaron Jermaine Ross II, aka “Deuce.”
“For a brother or sister?” the boy responded. “Let’s go!
The video then cut to Deuce in a starting position before he jumped up and sprinted down the track. The camera then followed the boy running in front of his dad, as his tracksuit went from pink to blue and then from blue to pink. “Girl? Boy? Girl? Boy?” the teaser read.

“Which will it be?!?” Sanya wrote in the caption. “Final guesses before our official [gender reveal] video drops tomorrow! This journey has been so exciting and it’s been so fun to share all these special moments with you.”

Less than 24 hours later, Sanya came through with the reveal video — and it was as creative as it was adorable. The clip began with Deuce standing in between his parents as he held each of their hands. Sanya was on the pink side of the room, while Aaron was repping the blue half. The husband and wife then played a little game of tug-of-war, as they took turns pulling their son to their respective sides.

“Team boy? Team girl?” the video was captioned.
Deuce’s tracksuit oscillated between pink and blue colorways as he was pulled back and forth. After a few seconds of suspense, it was Aaron who managed to pull his family to the blue side, effectively confirming they were expecting another boy.

Blue confetti then poured down on the family as they celebrated the happy news.
“Finally… God said _______!” Sanya captioned the video, which was directed by Derek Blanks. “Thanks to my amazing team for bringing this to life.”

The Olympic track and field champion announced the pregnancy in a July 27 People magazine article, shortly after she revealed she had suffered a “traumatic” miscarriage. Although she was initially hesitant to expand her family, Sanya told the outlet that the heartbreaking experience changed her perspective.

“I didn’t realize until then how much I really wanted to become a mom again and how much of a blessing it is to be a mom,” she explained. “And I was like, ‘You know what? It’s family first, and all the other things that I love — which is work and all that stuff, it’s second. I know if I do this, if I focus on my family, all those things will come.’”

Sanya’s second baby boy is due on December 25.

#HipHopNews: Doja Cat Releases Her Highly Anticipated Fourth Studio Album 'Scarlet'
After teasing fans for months, Doja Cat finally released her fourth studio album, Scarlet, today (Sept. 22).
The project was preceded by multiple singles, including “Attention,” which peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned six MTV Video Music Awards nominations. Meanwhile, “Paint The Town Red” debuted in August and landed a No. 1 position on the chart.

In the lead-up to the album’s release, life-sized mannequins resembling the Los Angeles rapper appeared in major cities as a promotional tactic. It also experienced a behind-the-scenes hiccup when Doja decided to change the cover art at the last minute due to its resemblance to another band’s artwork.

Moreover, the musician will be supporting the LP with “The Scarlet Tour,” which is set to begin on Halloween at San Francisco’s Chase Center. The 24-date tour will conclude on Dec. 13 at Chicago’s United Center. Ice Spice and Doechii were also announced as opening acts.

Listen to the full release HERE

Regarding the LP, Doja told Harper’s Bazaar, “This new album is more introspective, but I’m not leaning so hard into that to where it becomes boring. So I want to give stories and bops. It’s a nice mixture of both. I think this project is a really fun canvas for me to play with my rap skills and talk about what’s going on in my life. But I’m not abandoning who I was and what I know about pop and singing and that aspect of music.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the rapper spoke about the project’s accompanying visuals. She added, “It’s experimental for sure. It’s very manic. But I am going in a darker direction when it comes to visuals and fashion. I have a lot of pent-up feelings and anger, and I want to express it with beauty. I’ve been playing with a lot of prosthetics lately.”

IT'S OFFICIAL! Usher to headline 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show!

The Super Bowl may seem far away, but preparations are already underway. We also now know who will headline the halftime show: Usher.
The eight-time Grammy Award-winning artist will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 11, 2024.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” USHER said in a press release. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

In a video posted to X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday, Kim Kardashian appears to be speaking with Usher — though it is actually a clip from the music video for his song, “Confessions Part II” — telling him about the announcement. A similar video featuring Deion Sanders was also shared.

Usher previously appeared during Super Bowl XLV in 2011 when The Black Eyed Peas were the headliners. He performed his song, “OMG” with will.i.am. He is currently on tour in France but is set to return to the U.S. in October for a two-month Las Vegas residency. Usher has had a Vegas residency since 2021.

“Usher is an icon whose music has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape throughout his career, we couldn’t be more excited to have him headline this year’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show,” said Seth Dudowsky, NFL Head of Music. “We look forward to working with Usher, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another Halftime Show for the history books.”

Earlier this year, Usher said during an interview with Access Hollywood that he would “be a fool” to turn down an opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl.

“Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul,” said JAY-Z. “His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”

Usher will have some big shoes to fill — earlier this year, Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show became the most-watched of all time, according to the NFL.

While guests are common at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, it’s unclear if anyone will join Usher during the performance, or what songs he will perform.

Kym Whitley Shuts Down Rumors About Her Having A Three-Way With Mo'Nique And Gerald Levert
Whitley never had a threesome with Mo'Nique and Gerald Levert. Despite rumors suggesting so, the "My Brother and Me" alum insisted that the story wasn't true.

The 62-year-old set the record straight by writing on X, formerly Twitter, "As funny as the idea of this story is, this is NOT TRUE. Total fabrication!" She added, "I would usually laugh at a story like this, but anyone that knows me, knows how special Gerald LeVert was to me …so I had to debunk this tabloid tale. #false #funny #nottrue."

The rumors about the alleged threesome were first brought up by Media Takeout. The blog claimed on September 19 that Kym shared the shocking story in an interview on the New Orleans-based radio show, "Uptown Angela".

Uptown Angela, however, has also debunked the gossip. The radio personality argued, "So according to MediaTakeout.com I interviewed Kym Whitley today and she spilled big TEA about an alleged threesome between her, Gerald Levert & MONIQUE…the blog says during this rendevouz, THE BED BROKE!!! WTH? This interview NEVER happened!!! Is this April Fool MTO???"

Beyonce Flies Out Disabled Fan To See Her Show After He's Denied Boarding A Flight Due To Wheelchair

Beyonce Knowles just gave a disabled fan an experience he may never forget. The "Crazy in Love" hitmaker flew a man named Jon Hetherington to her show after he was initially denied boarding a flight due to his wheelchair.

Jon, who has cerebral palsy, was supposed to see Beyonce in Seattle, Washington. Unfortunately, when he went to board the Alaska Airlines flight, he was allegedly told that he couldn't take his electric wheelchair onboard the plane. "Ableism strikes again. After waiting 25 years, I'm not seeing @beyonce tonight," he lamented in a video shared on Instagram.

Having caught wind of Jon's post with the help of Bey Hive, Beyonce's team arranged a flight for him to see her in Texas. Jon eventually managed to see the Grammy-winning singer in person. He even took a photo with Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles.

"There is much that I will say in the coming days about what tonight means to me. There are some things I'll keep for myself. Truly an honor to meet you, @mstinaknowles!" he wrote on Instagram. "Thank you for all that you've done and given the world. We're so grateful."

"To the Queen herself, @beyonce, I will treasure those words you said and the hugs you gave. I meant every word I said," he added. "No, for anyone and everyone reading this, I will not ever share with you what was said to me, don't even try it. That moment is between the two of us. #beyonce #rwt2023."

WGA strike: Hollywood studios send writers ‘best and final’ offer as deal nears on strike
The major film and television studios on Saturday evening delivered their “best and final” offer to the striking writers, a person close to the situation told CNN, adding to significant hope that the negotiations to end the months-long strike will conclude with an agreement this weekend.

Negotiators with the Writers Guild of America were expected to review the offer and deliver their response.
The Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers spent Saturday negotiating for the fourth consecutive day. Should a tentative deal be reached, it would still need to be ratified by rank-and-file members before it could go into effect.

“The WGA and AMPTP met for bargaining on Saturday and will meet again on Sunday,” the two groups said in a statement.
The big four studio bosses — Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav, Disney chief Bob Iger, Netflix co-chief Ted Sarandos, and NBCUniversal studio chairman Donna Langley — were no longer in the Sherman Oaks room by Saturday afternoon, one person said, signaling nearly all the major issues had been resolved. The person stressed, while not directly in the room, the studio chiefs remained wholly engaged in the process.

Spokespeople for the AMPTP and the WGA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The WGA, which has over 11,000 members, has been on strike since May 2 with the work stoppage reaching its 145th day on Saturday. The strike is within two weeks of the longest strike in the union’s history, which lasted 154 days in 1988. Many productions had halted even before SAG-AFTRA joined the WGA on strike July 14.

Negotiations between the WGA and AMPTP have involved disputes over wages, worker protections, and artificial intelligence.

Even should a tentative deal be reached, it would still need to be ratified by rank-and-file members before it could go into effect. And even after that, without an agreement with SAG-AFTRA, which represents about 160,000 actors, an end to the WGA strike by itself wouldn’t do much to resume halted productions.

The WGA went on strike May 2, with the work stoppage reaching its 145th day on Saturday, putting it within two weeks of the longest strike in the union’s history, which lasted 154 days in 1988. Many productions had halted even before SAG-AFTRA joined the WGA on strike July 14.

Both sides have similar sets of demands, including better wages, residuals payments from streaming services for their work, and job protections against the use of artificial intelligence.

Nicki Minaj Responds After Husband Put Under House Arrest for Threatening Offset

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty was ordered to serve 120 days of home detention on Wednesday (Sept. 20) after he violated his probation terms by posting what seemed to be a social media threat directed toward Offset.

Petty was put under house arrest after he “was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record,” according to a Central District of California court order shared by The Hollywood Reporter. The court order also reported mentioned Offset specifically, and referred to a series of Sept. 16 posts from Petty aimed at the Migos rapper.

In the clip, Petty and a group of friends were outside a New York City hotel where Offset was allegedly staying. “Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral p—-,” Petty says in the video among other threats.

Minaj herself seemed to respond to the drama on her Instagram Stories on Thursday (Sept. 21), writing, “Can’t call the cops every time you flop. Just saying,” along with a string of laughing emojis.
In July 2022, Petty was sentenced  in Los Angeles to probation and home detention for failing to register as a sex offender. He was also ordered to pay a $55,000 fine as part of his sentence, which includes three years’ probation and a year in home detention, CBS News reports, based on filing from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The New York State department labels Petty as a level-two sex offender, which deems him of having a moderate risk of a repeat offense, after he was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree in 1994, more than two decades before he married Minaj.

Angelica Ross is pursuing politics after ditching Hollywood for good amid "AHS" controversy
Angelica Ross is leaving the entertainment industry to further her advocacy pursuits by securing a seat at the table with a government title. Her decision comes after she made headlines earlier this week when she unleashed receipts to back up claims that she was ghosted by “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy.

“I’m fully walking away from Hollywood. But I’m always going to be who I am. You don’t have to be on TV to be a creative person [or] to live a creative life,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Friday (Sept. 22).
As previously reported by REVOLT, Ross posted screenshots of emails dating back to 2020 that were shared between her and Murphy. In said exchange were conversations about the possibility of the hit show having an all-Black cast for one season. In response, Ross pitched several leading women as potential great fits for the anthology series. In the end, she was left on read and alleged that being in limbo with “AHS” caused her to miss out on an opportunity with Marvel.

In additional tweets, the on-screen talent exposed her castmate Emma Roberts for making an alleged snide and transphobic remark towards her while filming “American Horror Story: 1984.” The ladies have since spoken about the incident, and Roberts issued an apology. Speaking with THR, the “Pose” breakout star dished on other behind-the-scenes chaos, including a crew member’s racist T-shirts.

“One day it was, ‘BUILD THAT WALL.’ The next day, it was white praying hands in front of an American flag, and it said, ‘I DON’T KNEEL’ … This guy had a collection. I started speaking up about it,” she claimed. When she fired off a tweet about advocating against anti-Blackness and racism at work, she was told to delete the post, leaving her feeling silenced.

Those incidents and others not publicly addressed, in addition to feeling as though Murphy used her as a token Black trans actor, ultimately led Ross to pull the plug on her career. “It’s sort of a ‘fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me’ situation. I thought that Ryan Murphy was going to be my champion. I thought he understood,” she told the publication.
“I’m moving back to Georgia to prepare to run for office. I’ve been consulting with Renitta Shannon, a former Georgia state representative who also just recently ran for lieutenant governor. I go into candidate and campaign training next month,” continued Ross about her plans to pursue an unspecified position. The actress is also the founder of TransTech Social, an organization providing job training and professional support to the LGBTQ+ community.

Shannon Sharpe confirms disrespectful blowout with Skip Bayless led to his "Undisputed" exit

Shannon Sharpe finally confirmed that his December 2022 blowout with Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” was the catalyst behind his exit from the sports show. The retired NFL star went toe-to-toe with Bayless for seven years before he signed off for good on the Fox Sports 1 ratings draw in June.

During a heated exchange about then-New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Bayless took a jab at his co-star. “[Brady]’s still playing at a high level at 45 when you had to stop at 35. That’s the point … he’s way better than you were. Way better,” said the former ESPN commentator to Sharpe.

In a new episode of “The Stephen A. Smith Show” on YouTube, Sharpe reflected on how he felt disrespected by Bayless. “I remember going home, calling my sister. I called my brother… It took a lot. It took a lot for me not to put my hands on [Bayless]. It actually did,” said the former Denver Broncos tight end.

Sharpe also took accountability for allowing Bayless to feel empowered enough to take a dig at him. “A lot of that is my fault, because there were times that led up to that that I felt shots were taken, and I let it go. And he felt that he could go over the top in that situation,” said the three-time Super Bowl winner.

He continued, “Whatever the relationship is, once one partner has no respect for the other, the other partner then, in turn, loses respect for said partner. Then I think it is only a matter of time because I felt in that moment he had lost all respect for me … This is ‘Undisputed.’ Skip and Shannon. This is not yours. So, it really, really hurt me. Had I attacked him personally live on television, what would’ve happened?”

Earlier this month, Sharpe stepped into a new role as Smith’s co-host on “First Take.” He is slated to appear on the show twice a week throughout the football season. Like the NFL Hall of Famer, Smith also earned his stripes in the world of sports commentating after working with Bayless on “Undisputed.” They both agreed that the Bayless is a “different beast” but deserving of thanks for the opportunities he provided both men.

Son of TLC’s Chilli is Expecting His First Child
Austin, 26, revealed in an Instagram post this week that he and Jeong Ah Wang are expecting their first child, Page Six reports. The couple have been married since 2015.
“WE ARE PREGNANT!! ,” the post read. “FINALLY WE CAN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE OUR DAUGHTER LUNA WANG AUSTIN will be here in March 2024!

“To my wife I am so proud of you witnessing you going through so much just to get our beautiful baby here,” he continued. “I am in awe of your efforts and I am blessed and honored by Jesus himself to begin this journey with you.”
Austin went on to reveal that his wife has had two “HSG procedures, an egg retrieval, a hysteroscopy, and a miscarriage,” per People.

“#IVF has tested us and blessed us through a year and a half journey,” Austin added. “We will be the best parents for our little one and we just cannot wait for her to be here.”

Chilli has yet to react to the exciting news on social media. Back in May, her son said he supports the singer’s relationship with actor Matthew Lawrence.
“Oh man, I just like seeing her happy, you know? As someone who is now five years into my relationship, I love seeing humans connect and witnessing that genuineness. I feel that from him,” said Austin in an interview with People.

Austin is following in the musical footsteps of his famous parents. His father is music producer Dallas Austin. The young artist currently appears in the Paramount+ series “Family Legacy,” which features the children of legendary music artists and bands “reliving some of entertainment’s most iconic moments and giving viewers an intimate look at their favorite artists,” per the synopsis.

Speaking to People, Austin shared his thoughts about his famous mother dating a former child star.
“We’ve only met a couple of times because they’re really building their relationship since she’s very careful about that kind of stuff,” said Austin of Matthew Lawrence. He also noted that Chilli’s willingness to go public with this relationship “shows me that this is a very special person in her life.”

Tyler James Williams Fears Safety After Man Threatens Rape Then Shows Up At His Door

‘Everybody Hates Chris’ actor Tyler James Williams has been granted a restraining order after a stranger stalked him online threatening robbery and rape. The John Does then drove 2000 miles to Williams home and rang his doorbell 30 times over a 4 hour period. Now Williams is saying the man has caused him to suffer substantial emotional distress and he hasn’t been able to return to his home.

Actor Tyler James Williams has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who allegedly drove thousands of miles and showed up at his front door, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered the man identified as “John Doe” in Williams’ filings to stay 100 yards away from the Abbott Elementary star.

In his petition, Williams claimed the man in question had been sending him concerning messages on social media.
In another filing, Williams’ lawyer said, “Some of these messages contained explicit content including statements about being rape, robberies at gunpoint, drugs and social abandonment.”

Williams said the man seems “unstable and is also delusional since he believes we have a relationship.” His filing said messages that were sent by Doe included “I’m coming to the house” and “I don’t play games.”
Other messages included, “I’m not playing games with you here, my mind is playing games with me” and “Call me I can’t stop shaking.”

The star said the man drove 2,200 miles and showed up to his LA apartment complex on September 1.
Williams said Doe made entry to the building.
“Once inside the building, he repeatedly banged on my door while asking me to open my door,” the actor said.

Williams said Doe “continuously rang my ring doorbell at least 30 times over a 4-hour period. He also attempted to open a window adjacent to my front door.”

The actor said his Ring camera captured the incident. Williams said Doe became frustrated with not being able to make contact and was heard on camera saying, “I can’t believe I’m leaving and we didn’t get to talk. This isn’t f—— fair.”
“His messages and erratic behavior have placed me in fear for myself and have caused me to suffer substantial emotional distress,” Williams said.

He told the court he has not returned to the apartment since the incident occurred.

Stephen A. Smith Gets Clowned For His First Pitch At The Yankees Game
Stephen A. Smith has been getting clowned all morning (September 22) by co-workers and celebrities about his first pitch last night at the New York Yankees game.
ESPN has been looping the video on the “First Take” broadcast, which shows an overdressed Stephen A. step up to the mound and throw a pitch that bounces and hits the ground before it makes it to the catcher.

The network is calling it the “imperfect pitch.”
According to Stephen A., he practiced throwing the 60-foot distance from the mound to the catcher on the sideline and claimed he was throwing strikes.
He said when he stepped up on the mound, the 60-foot distance to the catcher looked like the length of a football field (100 yards).

After the imperfect pitch, he put his head down in disgust and walked off the mound.
He told MLB reporters who interviewed him after the pitch that he was disgusted with himself because he felt like he could do better than that, and he admitted that it was a choke job.

Zendaya Tells Fans to 'Relax' Following Engagement Rumors

Engagement rumors took on a life of their own for Zendaya when she posted a mirrored selfie with a ring that appeared to be on that finger.
The actress posted the image on her Instagram Stories. When she caught wind of the gossip, she posted a video where she addressed her supposed engagement.

“I can’t post anything, you guys,” she said in between laughs. Someone else can also be heard laughing in the background. “I posted it for my hat. Not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously. You think that’s how I would drop the news? Like what?”

According to People, she then re-uploaded the original image to her IG Stories so her fans could have another look, and wrote, “Let me just put the full body back so ya’ll can relax.”
Both Zendaya and her boyfriend Tom Holland make an effort to keep their relationship away from the public eye.

“Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public,” Zendaya told Elle in August. “I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now.”
