#MAGCONTROVERSY: Lil Kim Claims Controversial EBONY Magazine Cover Was Unauthorized
Releases Receipts Of Strikingly Similar Picture–‘It’s The Sabotage For Me’
Lil Kim is claiming that a heralded publication tried to “sabotage” her with the release of a cover image that she (and her fans) say is unrecognizable. “Who is this? Cuz that’s not the photo I approved or any other content they’ve put out,” wrote the Queen Bee on her InstaStory.
Unfortunately for her, the art director behind the image is alleging that the AI-adjacent picture was actually her doing, and now a “he said, she said” debate is raging on.

#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Rocks Bangs & a Showstopping Sparkly Outfit for a Special Night Out
Cynthia Bailey doesn’t just have new seasons; she has new chapters. This past spring, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum announced that she had entered a life chapter called “MY turn.” And this fall, it seems Cynthia is in her “alignment” era — with a new hairstyle and some fabulous fashion to go along with it.
Cynthia has never been shy about experimenting with her beauty look. In the clip above, you can check out some of the many styles she’s worn in the past. Her hairstyles range from tight curls to loose waves, and from side buns to braided updos. She’s also changed her hair color, giving us everything from reddish curls to blonde mermaid waves.
Bangs have also come and gone. A few years ago, for example, the Atlanta mom showed off long sideswept bangs as she wore her hair in a gently curled ponytail. And now the bangs are back — with some sparkling fashion to accompany them.
In a September 17 Instagram post, Cynthia shared a photo of herself rocking long, dark, layered waves. She had short piece-y bangs to go with the look, which she attributed to hairstylist Scott Miller. For her makeup, the former model tapped Tony Stylez.
Cynthia’s eyes were framed with inky lashes and liner. She had nude lips and a wash of luminous bronzer on her cheeks. And speaking of luminous, her Jovani ensemble was covered in sparkles.
The look paired wide-legged pants with a matching jacket and a bra top. Each piece was decked in glittering black sequins. In her caption, Cynthia wrote: “Alignment.” She added a crown that needs no explanation.
So what was the occasion? In a later post, Cynthia revealed that she’d just attended a stylish event at the High Museum of Art Atlanta. The Faces of Fashion Art and Fashion Gala took place on September 16, and Cynthia was an honoree.
At the gala, the “Lake Bailey” resident received an award that named her a “fashion and beauty icon.” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Mary Cosby hopped into the comments to show her friend some love. “You are So Deserving of this Reward!!” the Utah fashion maven wrote. “Love you.” (Cynthia responded, “Love [you] too!”)
This isn’t the first time Cynthia has been named an “icon.” Back in 2014, she received the Shero Icon Award at the 9th Annual Top 25 Women of Atlanta Awards. “It’s great to applaud and celebrate Black women who are doing great things in the city,” she said at the time.

#HipHopNews: Megan Thee Stallion Says She'd Be Open To Doing A Joint Project With Cardi B
Fans of Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B have a reason to rejoice. In an interview with Complex on Tuesday (Sept. 19), the former hinted at an extensive collaborative project that would include an EP and subsequent tour.
While discussing her Flamin’ Hot University initiative with Doritos, Megan opened up about her plans with the Bronx native. She told the publication, “I literally think that’s the route that we’re going. So I’ve done two songs for her and now I feel like I’m in a space where I know exactly what songs I want her to do for me. So we’re really building a little EP already.”
Outside of a project, the Houston Hottie also spoke warmly about the prospect of touring together. She stated, “We’re gonna have enough music that we need to go on tour together. Me and [Cardi B] going out together will be so amazing. We are already so cool and I feel like we got similar fans. So if she wanted to do a little EP, I would definitely be so down to do that, but we are making enough music to already have that.”
Megan and Cardi previously worked together on a number of hits. Their 2020 single “WAP” topped the Billboard Hot 100. Meanwhile, their recent endeavor, “Bongos,” already marked its presence by debuting at No. 14 on the same chart.
Earlier this week, Megan told “Entertainment Tonight” about the chemistry they share. She said, “I feel like we hype each other up so well. Anytime she might be feeling a way, I’m definitely her sunshine. She’s so sweet, and she’s so kind, and that’s why I really like her — ’cause she’s real.”
The “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker also revealed she returned to the studio to work on new tunes for a solo project. “I am in such an amazing headspace,” she revealed. “I’m making music that I really, really love. I’m making music that I’m not about to have to fight with anybody about.”

Adidas CEO Says He Doesn't Think Kanye West "Meant What He Said" During Anti-Semitic Remarks
Almost a year after Adidas ended its once-lucrative partnership with Kanye West, the company’s CEO, Bjørn Gulden, broke his silence on the matter on Sept. 13. Speaking on the “In Good Company” podcast hosted by Nicolai Tangen, the chief executive shared insights on the controversial split and what transpired behind the scenes.
Having taken the reins at the athletic apparel brand on Jan. 1, Gulden described West as one of the “most creative people in the world” as it related to music and street culture. He further recognized the artist’s pivotal role in creating the Yeezy sneaker line.
Despite the successful collaboration, he acknowledged the necessity of severing ties after Ye made anti-Semitic comments that “wasn’t that good.” The CEO admitted, “That caused [Adidas] to break that contract and withdraw the product. [It’s] very unfortunate because I don’t think he meant what he said, and I don’t think he’s a bad person. It just came across that way.”
The fallout cost the footwear label one of the “most successful collabs in history,” which Gulden described as “very sad.” However, he noted that such risks come with working with third parties, whether they are athletes or entertainers, describing it as “part of the business.”
West’s remarks not only ended the historic partnership but also caused a financial hit for Adidas. According to AP News, it contributed to a dip in sales by $655 million in the final quarter of 2022, pushing the company to report a net loss of roughly $551 million in that period.
The negative trajectory continued into 2023 with a reported $441 million in lost sales. Looking ahead, Gulden also revealed plans to sell part of the remaining $1.2 billion worth of unsold Yeezy inventory and to donate a portion of the proceeds to organizations impacted by West’s statements.

Man was punched before he died at New England Patriots game, witness says
A man who died at a New England Patriots home game last weekend was punched at least twice in the head during a fight in the stands with a rival fan, a witness said Tuesday.
Police and safety personnel responded to the upper deck at Gillette Stadium shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday and found Dale Mooney, 53, of Newmarket, New Hampshire, “in apparent need of medical attention,” the Norfolk County district attorney’s office said in a statement Monday.
Mooney was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Massachusetts State Police are investigating what the district attorney termed an “incident” at the stadium.
Witness Joey Kilmartin shot video of what he said was a brutal fight.
Instagram post may shed new light in death of former NFL player’s mother
In interviews with several local media outlets, Kilmartin said he saw Mooney, a Patriots fan, confront a Miami Dolphins fan who he had been arguing with during most of the game, which the Dolphins won.
“He basically engaged in mutual combat with another fan,” Kilmatin told The Boston Globe. “A lot of people started trying to pull them apart. … It looked like somebody was in the middle of them, and then a man in the Dolphins jersey reached over and he connected with two punches to the victim’s head.
“It wasn’t something crazy or out of the ordinary until, 30 seconds later, the guy wasn’t getting up.”
The results of an autopsy were expected this week, a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office said.
Mooney’s wife, Lisa Mooney, said she feels numb and wants answers about how her husband died
“I just can’t even believe this is for real,” she told WCVB-TV. “I want to know what happened. What caused this?”
Cause of death revealed for Ron Sexton, longtime member of ‘The Bob & Tom Show’ comedic radio program
Gillette Stadium officials said they were “heartbroken” by the death of Mooney, who they described as a lifelong Patriots fan and 30-year season ticket member.
“We continue to work with local authorities to assist them with their ongoing investigation,” according to the statement. “We extend our sincerest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Dale’s family and to all those who are mourning his loss.”
Tamar Braxton Feels 'Not Safe Anywhere' After Her Car Is Burglarized
Tamar Braxton has real concerns about her safety following the latest misfortune in her life. The singer has claimed that she does not feel "safe anywhere" after her car was broken into and ransacked.
The 46-year-old revealed on Monday, September 18 that she recently fell victim to car burglary. Making use of her Instagram account, she shared security footage that captured the suspects in action.
In four clips of the incident, a handful of men were seen going through a vehicle in a covered, seemingly subterranean garage. The men were rummaging around and removing various items as they appear to be planning a getaway in another car.
One of the men appears to be limping while another man took a white car that was going to take them away. They didn't seem to be in a rush at all, before one of them walked to a gate, seemingly to open it and make a way for their exit.
In the caption, Tamar wrote, "I got robbed. At home. I'm not safe anywhere." She lamented, "I don't know why I keep getting violated." She went on claiming, "I had a lot in my car cause I don't live anywhere cause I'm not safe anywhere or with anyone."
It's not clear when the robbery took place, but on Sunday, Tamar was just performing the National Anthem ahead of the Packers-Falcons game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. In the comments section, her fans and followers expressed their sympathy for her.
One of the messages was from Ashanti who wrote, "Wow.... That's crazy! Smfh I hate s**t like this... sending u love sis!!! God got u!!" Beyonce Knowles' mom Tina shared a supportive message as writing, "So Sorry Tamar, I too well firsthand know how violated you feel! But you are safe because you are surrounded by the power of God's protection. You are also very loved remember that."
"Damn man. So sorry to hear this! Atlanta is getting out of hand!!" a third person weighed in. Another remarked, "The fact they weren't worried someone would see them is sickening. Crazy AF!!!!" Someone else added, "That's terrible and disgusting!! Everything they stole is coming back to you 10 fold and that Karma gon spin the block on them thieves...Watch!"
Currently there is no word on whether a police report was filed and what items Tamar lost in the robbery.

Sherri Shepherd Pauses Talk Show After Positive COVID Test
Sherri Shepherd tested positive for COVID, causing a temporary halt to taping of her daytime talk show. The show announced Shepherd’s positive test in an Instagram post Wednesday.
“I am absolutely heartbroken that I cannot return to host my show this week,” Shepherd said in a statement. “As soon as I get the all-clear from my doctor, I look forward to coming back strong to deliver the fun, laughter and a real good time.”
Sherri’s producers added, “The show will return with original episodes as soon as possible. For the remainder of this week, encore episodes from the beginning of the premiere week will air. The health of our host and entire staff is of the utmost importance.”
COVID cases in New York, where Sherri tapes, and elsewhere have been on the rise in recent weeks, due largely to a new variant of the virus (updated booster vaccines became available this week).
Shepherd’s show, produced and distributed by Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury, began its second season Monday amid a chaotic daytime landscape in which three other shows — The Drew Barrymore Show, The Jennifer Hudson Show and The Talk — delayed their premieres amid the ongoing writers and actors strikes. Those three shows employ Writers Guild of America writers, while Sherri does not.
“The Sherri show is not a WGA show, and we have never employed WGA writers, so us coming back to work isn’t crossing the picket line,” she told her audience on Monday. Talk shows are also covered under a different SAG-AFTRA contract than the one the actors union is striking now.

Cindy Crawford Reflects On Awkward Oprah Winfrey Interview Which Focused Solely On Her Body: 'That Was Not Okay'
Cindy Crawford is looking back on her 1986 interview with Oprah Winfrey through a new set of eyes.
The now 57-year-old supermodel opened up about the experience of the interview during Apple TV+ docuseries, The Super Models, where she addressed how Oprah‘s comments would not fly today, and looking back, weren’t okay then, either.
During the interview, Cindy was being introduced to audiences alongside her Elite Model Management representative, John Casablancas, when Oprah made comments about her slenderness.
“Did she always have this body? Stand up just a moment,” Oprah is seen saying, just as Cindy stands up and shows off her body. “Now this is what I call a body,” Oprah added.
The audience was noticeably silent.
Reflecting on the moment during the new docuseries, Cindy says that he was “like the chattel or a child, be seen and not hear.”
“When you look at it through today’s eyes, when Oprah’s like, ‘Stand up and show me your body. Show us why you’re worthy of being here,’” she added. “In the moment I didn’t recognize it, only when I look back at it am I like, ‘Oh my gosh, that was so not okay, really. Especially from Oprah.’”

Angelica Ross Says Emma Roberts Made Transphobic Comments Toward Her On “American Horror Story” Set
Angelica Ross continues to call out her experience with “American Horror Story,” now slamming her co-star Emma Roberts for being transphobic.
Shortly after Ross went after “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy for ghosting her, she began to air out the toxic work environment she encountered while filming the series. On Monday, Ross shared a tweet promising to tell fans about comments from one of her co-stars, which we now know to be Roberts. The next day, in an Instagram Live, Ross aired out the actress, who made a nasty remark about Ross not being a woman.
