#RHOA: Marlo Hampton shades Kenya Moore’s ‘Party City’ Wig
Marlo Hampton is “proud” of frenemy Kenya Moore for experimenting with wigs while filming “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” — but isn’t a fan of the “horrible” blond hairpiece worn by the former Miss USA in a slew of Season 15 confessionals.

“Wait, that blond horrible wig? The one from Party City?” Hampton, 47, exclusively tells Page Six Style, throwing light shade at her co-star. “That was awful.”

The Le’Archive founder adds, “I just think it as an epic fail. It just was a no.”
Hampton, 47, goes on to beg Moore, 52, to never don the wig again.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Marlo Hampton tells Page Six Style she’s not a fan of Kenya Moore’s blond wig.
“No, don’t do it again. Thumbs down,” she says, emphasizing that the Kenya Moore Hair Care founder should “consult with Miss Hampton next time” she plans to test out a new ‘do.

2019’s Season 12 when Moore crashed a launch party for Hampton’s HER wig line with a full marching band, chanting, “Kenya Moore Hair Care!”

At the time, Moore touted the benefits of her hair products and credited them for the health and sheen of her natural tresses. And while she was previously averse to wigs, Moore later leaned into sporting faux manes on the reality show in an effort to “protect” her own locks.
“I was surprised that she shared it with y’all because she’s been wearing wigs,” Hampton says.

“I was just proud that she was able to be authentic with her fans and let them know, ‘I do have a haircare line but I also wear protective styles. I do wear wigs and pieces as well, ladies.’”
In the spirit of Pride Month, Hampton jokes that Moore “came out” as a wig wearer.

“She came out! She was in the closet long enough,” she says with a laugh. “Bitch came out the closet, OK? Finally! Only took 10 years, but she came out the closet.”

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

#MusicNews: Doja Cat Makes Her Return With "Attention" Music Video
Doja Cat makes her triumphant return with the fresh single “Attention,” unveiled on Friday (June 16). Paired with an unsettling music video, the new release takes a deep dive into the paradoxical world of fame.

“Now I feel like I can see you b**ches is depressed. I am not afraid to finally say s**t with my chest. Lost a lil’ weight, but I ain’t never lost a tushy. Lookin’ good, but now my bald head match my [p**sy],” she raps in the song’s opening verse.

Later in the track, Doja name-drops Nicki Minaj and references Cardi B’s “Hot S**t,” stating, “Just let me flex, bruh, just let me pop s**t. ‘Why she think she Nicki M? She think she hot s**t?’ Huh, I never gave a F, go stir the pot, b**ch. I got y’all head all in the dirt just like an ostrich. Of course, you b**ches comparin’ Doja to who the hottest.”

In the eerie visual, the rapper navigates through Los Angeles’ bustling streets. She eludes ardent admirers and bystanders who are all adorned in grotesque, fleshy masks. Tanu Muino, famed for steering visuals like Harry Styles’ “As It Was” and Cardi’s “Up,” is the creative force behind the distinctive video shot on location in the City of Angels.

Earlier in the week, the chart-topping artist announced the track’s release date on social media. She also revealed the associated cover art, which showcases an upside-down, bloodstained letter “A” — a symbol she later dubbed a “placeholder.”

Intriguingly, the star had been leaving breadcrumbs for fans in the form of “The Scarlet Letter”-inspired hints. On May 24, she posted to Twitter, “Scarlet was here” alongside a blood drop emoji. Later, on June 9, the same emoji resurfaced, accompanied by the message, “Scarlet’s watching.” The final clue arrived over the weekend when she shared, “Let myself heal, scar finally sealed.”
This new single hints at an upcoming full-length album from the artist. While no title or release date has been disclosed, this potential project would serve as a follow-up to Doja’s successful 2021 album, Planet Her. This critically acclaimed record reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart on July 10, 2021 and yielded multiple enduring hits such as “Need to Know,” “Woman,” “Ain’t S**t” and “Get Into It (Yuh).”
Doja Cat’s last standalone single, “Vegas,” debuted in 2022 as part of the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s film Elvis. In May, she stirred up controversy with a now-deleted tweet implying her previous two albums were commercial ploys. Nonetheless, the world waits with bated breath for the musician’s next artistic endeavor.

#HipHopNews: Saucy Santana And Flo Milli "Whole Family"
Unleashing a fresh audacious collaboration, Saucy Santana and Flo Milli have let loose their latest track, “Whole Family,” today (June 16). An unexpected yet enthralling team-up, the track bristles with the fiery attitude both rappers are renowned for.

Sampling the 1981 classic “Apache” from The Sugarhill Gang, “Whole Family” draws the listener into its rhythmic allure. The duo pulls no punches, calling out their adversaries’ lineage with unabashed bravado. With verses echoing the cutting refrain, “B*tch, you a h**. Yo mammy a h**,  yo granny a h**. Yo whole family full of h**s,” the two make it clear they’re not in the mood to mince words.

Known for his scandalous wordplay, Santana doesn’t disappoint in his verse. Dropping a smart nod to Will Smith, he connects his lyrics with the actor’s iconic “Apache” dance from the “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.” The artist raps, “Rain on his face, then I bought him a jacket. Hands on my hips like I’m Will Smith. And if that n**ga got a big ol’ d**k (Jump on it).” His verse vibrates with daring double entendres and shameless self-expression.

Never one to shy away from asserting her lyrical abilities, Flo Milli lands her verse with an equal punch. Addressing her critics, she warns, “Still sh**tin’ on ’em, ain’t a d**n thing changed. Yo deepthroat b**ch got a whole lot to say. Heard yo’ momma get around, now yo’ daddy my bae. I don’t gotta bite b**ches, I’m cool in my lane.” The rapper’s unapologetic voice resonates with listeners, leaving no doubt she’s holding her ground.

WATCH

This latest release comes as Santana continues his ascension in Hip Hop. After a 2022 brimming with collaborations with artists like Latto on “Booty” and Madonna on “MATERIAL GWORRLLLLLLLL!,” he’s showing no signs of slowing down. More recently, the artist appeared on IDK’s “Pinot Noir” with Jucee Froot.

Flo Milli is also riding a wave of success, recently being brought out by Ice Spice at HOT 97’s 2023 Summer Jam. In March, she released her highly anticipated sophomore album, You Still Here Ho?. Composed of 20 tracks, it boasted features from Monaleo, Lola Brooke, Rico Nasty, Babyface Ray, and more.

Pharrell Launches His First Louis Vuitton Campaign With Rihanna
A new dawn is breaking as Louis Vuitton’s new men’s creative director, Pharrell, prepares to showcase his inaugural collection. And who better to assist with the reveal than global superstar and former collaborator Rihanna, already known for making headlines with her maternity pics.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday (June 14), the Virginia native offered a sneak peek at the campaign. The post featured an imposing billboard in Paris, with Riri striking a pose by the Musée d’Orsay. Donning a half-buttoned black leather shirt and her pregnancy on proud display, she juggled a coffee and a vibrant array of LV bags. Each bag boasted a different color, giving a taste of the diversity that the forthcoming collection promises.

The caption read, “LOUIS VUITTON MEN Spring-Summer 2024.” Notably, this collection will mark Pharrell’s debut under the prestigious banner of Louis Vuitton.

Several celebrities, including Busta Rhymes, Lil Tjay, Tobi Nwigwe, Winnie Harlow, and Heron Preston, each expressed their excitement in the comments section.

Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton named Pharrell as successor to the late Virgil Abloh, lauding him as a “visionary” and “cultural global icon.” The company’s statement praised the legendary musician’s boundary-breaking creativity, aligning it with Louis Vuitton’s own pioneering spirit.

The designer will officially present his first collection for the iconic fashion house on June 20, at 8:30 p.m. local time, as part of Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

Kourtney Kardashian Announces Pregnancy At Travis Barker's L.A. Concert.
Kourtney Kardashian is finally expecting her first child with Travis Barker and she had a perfect way to share the exciting news with the world. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum announced her pregnancy at her husband's show in Los Angeles which took place on Friday, June 16.

Making use of Instagram, the 44-year-old shared a video of her smiling and jumping up and down in the crowd at BMO Stadium. In the clip, she could be seen holding up a sign with large black letters that read, "Travis I'm Pregnant!"

Travis, who was on the stage, was surprised by the announcement and quickly approached Kourtney as one of his Blink-182 bandmates exclaimed, "Someone's having a baby!" The drummer then embraced his wife before giving her sweet kisses.

Many were happy upon learning of the baby news, but some people believed that the whole thing was staged. "Kourtney Kardashian announce [sic] that she's pregnant at the concert and in the video she shows off a baby bump? How is it that Travis didn't know she was pregnant? Sounds staged," one person argued.

"Kourtney kardashian telling Travis barker she's pregnant w a full on baby bump has me weak," another penned. "like people really think he didn't know before the concert??"

Others, however, came to Kourtney's defense, with one writing, "Who cares if he already knew. They tried really hard to have a baby. I'm rooting for them." Someone else added, "Who cares if he already knew maybe this was their way of telling the world."

Kourtney had been trying to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization since she tied the knot with Travis. However, she made a decision to not continue the process as she told her younger sister Khloe Kardashian in a May episode of their family show, "The Kardashians", "We would love a baby more than anything. Whatever's meant to be. We have a full, blessed life."

Diddy keeps promise to donate $1 million to Jackson State University
Sean “Diddy” Combs has kept the promise he made last year to donate $1 million to Jackson State University.
As previously reported, Combs announced the pledge while receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 BET Awards. “Before I leave, I want to donate $1 million to Howard University,” he said during his speech alongside Babyface and Kanye West. “Also, I’m going to drop another $1 million on Deion Sanders and Jackson State because we should play for us. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart, I love y’all, peace.”

Dr. Elayne Hayes-Anthony, who is the acting president at the HBCU, revealed that the donation was given as she was speaking at the Board of Trustees’s monthly Institutions of Higher Learning meeting on Thursday (June 15), HBCU Gameday reports. “P Diddy, as our students call him, and as we probably know him as Sean Combs, has released $1 million to Jackson State for athletics,” Hayes-Anthony said. “And we are very, very pleased about that. We will be receiving $332,000 by June 23 as a first installment and we get another installment in 2024 and another in 2025.” Check that moment out below.

In December 2022, it was announced that Sanders, who coached at Jackson State for three years, left the school to become the head football coach at the University of Colorado. Colorado has reportedly signed the former NFL star to a five-year, $29.5 million contract, the biggest deal given to any football coach in that school’s history and a huge upgrade from Sanders’ former four-year, $1.4 million contract at the HBCU.

During an interview on the “Pivot Podcast” in March, the NFL vet said that it wasn’t only the resources provided that made him seal the deal. “It was the ideology, the thought process, the forward thinking,” Sanders said. “It was meeting me at the crossroad. That’s what was involved in that.”

Quincy Jones released from hospital in ‘great spirits’ after health scare
Quincy Jones is out of the hospital after experiencing a health scare earlier this weekend.
Paramedics transported Jones, 90, from his Los Angeles home to the emergency room on Saturday after the renowned musician reacted badly to some food he ate and called 911 just to be safe, a representative for the Grammy-winning record producer told TMZ.

He was released from the hospital shortly thereafter once doctors determined he was OK. The composer never lost consciousness and was in “great spirits” by the time he left the hospital, his rep told TMZ.

A spokesperson for Jones did not immediately respond Sunday to The Times’ request for comment.
One of the most respected and influential figures in American music, Jones has collaborated with and shaped the careers of countless artists, from Miles Davis and Duke Ellington to Ray Charles and Michael Jackson.
In January 2022, the beloved virtuoso released a 10-volume album, “Milestones of a Legend,” encompassing nearly 200 of his greatest jazz recordings from the 50s and early 60s — a small sampling from his illustrious, decades-long career.

And Jones’ influence is not limited to the music industry. He has also served as a producer on a number of film and TV projects, including a recent reboot of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and an upcoming remake of “The Color Purple.”

Amanda Bynes detained by police for mental health evaluation
Amanda Bynes has been detained by police to undergo a mental health evaluation.
The troubled actress - who was released from a psychiatric hospital in April - was reportedly intercepted by Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers after they responded to a call about a woman in distress, TMZ reports.

The 37-year-old star was taken to a police station where a medical unit was waiting to assess her and determine if she needed further treatment.
Onlookers told the outlet Amanda was calm during her interaction with the cops and "looked defeated" as they put her into the back of one of the three cars that visited her.

It is unclear if cops had been called to her home, or elsewhere and it is currently unknown if she has been hospitalised under a 5150 hold.

In February, the She's The Man star - who was released from a conservatorship in March 2022 after almost nine years - was found naked and alone in the early hours of the morning and was subsequently placed on psychiatric hold in a mental health ward but left the facility weeks later.

It was claimed ahead of her release that she would "enrol in an outpatient mental health treatment programme" upon being discharged but because she is no longer under the conservatorship arrangement, is free to make her own medical decisions.

Just days after the incident occurred, an eyewitness recalled that they had seen Amanda - who has been in an on/off relationship with Paul Michael in recent years - during the early hours of the morning and described watching her ask a woman for help as she seemed "out of it".

The eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight: "Amanda was wandering alone on Hollywood Blvd. at around 1 am. No one really recognised her or noticed her. She was walking tensely and by herself. A woman started walking with her and tried to help her. Amanda asked the woman to hold her. Amanda seemed to be in a loving, wholesome mood [but] seemed as though she was out of it.

"She asked to be dropped off at her friend’s place in Beverly Hills. When the woman went to drop her off, Amanda’s friend did not answer. Amanda said she did not want to go home and noted that her boyfriend kicked her out. Amanda then asked to be dropped back off on Hollywood Blvd., and the woman obliged."

Philadelphia principal scrutinized after denying two more students their diplomas
Demands for the principal of The Philadelphia High School for Girls to be terminated are growing louder as more footage of their recent graduation ceremony has been shared online. As previously reported, controversy broke out after the June 9 commencement when senior Hafsah Abdur-Rahman was denied her diploma on stage after she did The Griddy dance.

They thought that I shouldn’t do The Griddy across the stage and do the Girls’ High traditions, nobody should have been able to wave or blow kisses or do period signs because I feel like that’s the same thing,” Abdur-Rahman explained to ABC 6 about the humiliating moment. “I feel like that’s unfair,” she added. However, a new video reveals that she was not the only student whose celebratory day was tarnished.
more footage showed that two more teens were denied the opportunity to accept their diplomas in front of family and friends. Clips circulating on social media showed the second young lady wave at her loved ones as her name was announced. When she approached Principal Lisa M. Mesi, she was denied a certificate. The event photographer, who was standing nearby, also elected not to photograph the graduate. A third video showed a young lady wave her index finger in celebration as she approached Mesi. The footage can be seen here and below.

One person outraged by the footage wrote, “Fire her! She got great joy [from] withholding those kids diplomas! Let her see what it feels like to have her pay withheld.”

A second person commented, “She needs to be demoted. I know her behavior during the semester is nasty!”
And a third person remarked, “You only get to graduate from high school once. I’m so sick of these schools with their rules on how these babies can celebrate. If they aren’t holding up the ceremony, leave them be. She ruined this moment for them, and it’s unacceptable.”

The School District of Philadelphia previously released a statement addressing Mesi’s actions during the ceremony. It said, “During Friday’s Girls’ High graduation, the school administration chose to give a few graduates their diplomas directly after graduation versus on the stage due to the school’s graduation guidelines. The district does not condone the withholding of earned diplomas based on family members cheering for their graduates. We apologize to all the families and graduates who were impacted and are further looking into this matter to avoid it happening in the future.” Mesi has yet to issue her own statement.

LL Cool J reassures fans "The F.O.R.C.E. Live Tour" is still happening after rescheduling dates
Greatness cannot be rushed, and when it comes to celebrating hip hop, LL Cool J is making sure it is done the right way. Case in point, the entertainer has pushed back the start of his upcoming arena trek, “The F.O.R.C.E. Live Tour.”

As previously reported by REVOLT in April, the emcee first announced that he was teaming up with The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Z-Trip for 24 shows. The feat would mark his first arena tour in 30 years and coincide with the 50th anniversary of hip hop. The cross-country trek was originally slated to kick off on June 25 in Boston and wrap up on Sept. 3 in Los Angeles. But those plans have since changed.

On Saturday (June 17), LL Cool J confirmed reports that tour dates had been postponed. In a video, he said, “As you may have heard, I rescheduled the first leg of my tour, you know what I’m saying. Production has to be right… I gotta be 100 percent ready. I love my fans. It’s got to be right… We gon’ do this. It’s gon’ be a show like you never seen before.” In the caption, he further explained, “I have to give my fans an experience that is unforgettable. I want to make sure everything is done right, and in order to do that, I had to change some things up. The updated tour dates are now live… I’ll see you there. More to come.”

At this time, 18 shows are listed with the first taking place in Baltimore on Aug. 11. The last show is currently scheduled for Nov. 19 in Boston. Some of the hip hop legends scheduled to make appearances include Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Rakim, Common, MC Lyte, Method Man and Redman, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice T, and Doug E. Fresh, to name a few. LL Cool J previously promised fans that the experience would be unlike anything they had seen before, including the recent Grammy tribute to the genre. “I haven’t done an arena tour in many years, you know what I’m sayin’? And I put all my energy into making this thing right. This is like everything we’ve ever done on super [steroids]. So it’s going to be way more than you can imagine,” he said in an April 29 Instagram Live with fans.

While his most recent message was reassuring, he did not disclose details about the postponement. To view the full list of shows, visit the Rock the Bells website.

'The Flash' Opening Weekend Box Office Revealed!
The Flash is currently No. 1 at the box office, although the numbers are not quite matching expectations.
The superhero film with Ezra Miller came in at $55 million in its opening weekend, falling short of projections via Variety.

The movie’s scored a “B” from CinemaScore.
“This is a weak three-day opening for a superhero [film],” says David A. Gross of Franchise Entertainment Research said.

“There have been similar openings that grew into big numbers,” he continued, referring to films like 2015’s Ant-Man, which opened to $57 million and ended with $519 million worldwide. However, he added: “But we do not see that here.”
Analysts believe that several factors are to blame, including unenthusiastic audience reactions, and the lack of a traditional promotional push due to Ezra‘s many controversies, making his first public statements for the first time in over a year at the premiere.

Vanessa Bryant Unveils and Dedicates Basketball Court in Compton to Kobe and Gianna
Vanessa Bryant is continuing to honor the legacies of Kobe and Gianna Bryant.
Bryant, 41, unveiled a refurbished basketball court in California's Wilson Park on Friday, dedicated to the memories of her late husband and daughter.

The Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, in collaboration with BodyArmor, opened the court alongside murals of the late NBA legend and his daughter — who died in a helicopter crash in January 2020.

"🖤LOS ANGELES🤍 Thank you for showing up and showing out for our exclusive court reopening at Wilson Park in honor of Kobe and Gianna 🙏🏼 Special thanks to artist @sloe_motions for the incredible mural & @lisaleslie and @traeyoung for being a big part of this special occasion," Bryant wrote, thanking former WNBA center Lisa Leslie and Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young, who were also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"To our donors - you made this happen. Every single dollar you’ve donated and merch you’ve purchased from the foundation goes toward our mission of creating positive impact for underserved athletes and boys & girls in sports," she continued. "@drinkbodyarmor, you couldn’t be a more amazing partner. Stay tuned for the next court launch. #PlayGigisWay #MambaForever."

According to a release, both BODYARMOR and MMSF have committed $24 million to assist with access to youth sports, with courts already unveiled in Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Dallas, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Phoenix.

“Growing up idolizing Kobe … it was an honor for me to be in his presence,” Young said, per the Los Angeles Daily News. "I’m excited and honored to be a part of this. I remember being a part of certain courts and just being able to get better at my game on these courts.”

“For years we’ve been trying to build a basketball court in a public space in L.A. and we’re so thankful to council member [Andre] Spicer and Mayor [Emma] Sharif for allowing us to be included in your community,” Bryant added, per the outlet.

The court in Compton features numerous murals of the basketball legend and his daughter, including one of them next to each other with the word "Forever" painted in front of them, and two others for each separately.

Earlier this year, Natalia Bryant delivered an emotional speech as her family unveiled Kobe's handprints at the iconic Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
"I'm honored to be here today to recognize the man that we all knew and love my dad, Kobe Bryant," Natalia, who was joined by her mother and younger sisters Bianka, 6, and Capri, 3, began.

Calling Kobe the "MVP of girl dads," she also spoke about witnessing his work ethic as a basketball player and his commitment to fatherhood.
"Being his daughter is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I hope to continue to embody and cherish the many lessons he has taught me," she said.

Nike is sticking with Ja Morant on his Endorsement Deal
Nike is sticking with Ja Morant, despite his latest suspension. In a statement following Adam Silver’s announcement that Morant would be suspended 25 games for brandishing a gun on Instagram Live, Nike issued a statement saying they won’t cut ties with the Memphis Grizzlies superstar.

“We are pleased that Ja is taking accountability and prioritizing his well-being,” the shoe retailer said. “We will continue to support him on and off the court.”

After the second video surfaced, the sneaker giant pulled all of Morant’s shoes from its site and app, indicating that there could be trouble.  But the Ja 1 “Hunger” colorway that was scheduled to release was eventually re-added and sold out in minutes.
Morant was initially suspended eight games after flashing a gun in a Denver strip club in March. The hoopster expressed remorse for his actions, but another video surfaced just two months later showing Morant holding a gun while sitting in a car on Instagram Live. The latest incident led to the 25-game suspension.

There was some question about whether Morant would face additional consequences. But it appears his Nike deal remains intact for now.
