#RHOA: What Has Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams Reuniting?
Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams have reunited for a high-flying project. The present and former cast members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta both appear in MTV’s new comedy Pretty Stoned. Page Six has the details, and here’s what we know so far:
The flick takes place in Atlanta and centers on two coworkers with very different personalities. One character, named Stella, is described as a “proud stoner,” while her coworker Darcy is an “overachiever.” The two women come together over a little issue involving $20,000 of marijuana.

Here’s where Kandi comes in. The Xscape singer plays Mrs. Thompson, who is the “fabulously wealthy” mother of Darcy’s girlfriend Meena. Porsha makes a cameo in the film. Photos from the set show PJ’s mama in costume, wearing giant hoop earrings and a sparkly pink ensemble.

Both women took to Instagram to tease the upcoming film. In her post, Porsha shared some photos from the movie and announced that it will air on April 19. “[I’m] so excited!” she added. “So many great people are a part of this project. Can’t wait for you to watch!”

Kandi also shared her enthusiasm in an Instagram post of her own, writing, “I’m in a movie with some really dope women! I can’t wait for y’all to see it!”

Earlier this year, Kandi shared another exciting career update. Last spring, the RHOA mama and her husband, Todd Tucker, became producers! The duo backed the Broadway revival of The Piano Lesson.
The all-star cast included Samuel L. Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks, and Broadway World reported on January 3 that the production had become the “highest-grossing August Wilson play” in history.

Kandi posted the thrilling news on her Instagram feed a day later. “Another dream coming true!” she wrote. “Thankful to be a producer on [The Piano Lesson] which is now the highest-grossing [August Wilson] play in Broadway history.” Kandi added that the news was a “great way to start 2023!”

Meanwhile, among her other projects, Porsha has continued her work in philanthropy. In a February 27 Instagram post, Simon Guobadia shared photos from the 2023 Pink Awards and applauded Porsha’s involvement in the charitable event.

In his caption, Simon wrote, “In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, we attended the 2023 Pink Awards where [Porsha] was a featured presenter in support of her aunt [Elisabeth] Omilami who is a breast cancer survivor and recipient of the Samaritan award.”

He added, “Our prayers go out to these brave women.” Porsha responded to her husband’s words in the comments, giving him some love with a red heart emoji.

R&B Superstair Kem is celebrating his 20th anniversary of being signed to Motown with the release of his first live album “Anniversary – The Live Album”.

This project was originally recorded back in 2022 at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in his hometown of Detroit. The album showcases the musical mastery and captivating vocals of one of the world’s most treasured singer-songwriters with powerful renditions of songs from throughout KEM’s career, including his No. 1 hits, “Love Calls,” “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Why Would You Stay,” “Nobody,” “Lie To Me” and “Stuck On You.”

Kem adds about the project:
“Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of my signing to the Motown label is exceptionally significant for me. As a young man creating music, only in my wildest dreams could I envision a life that could encapsulate the magnitude of a moment like this. My heart is filled with gratitude to my Motown family for having faith in my debut album, KEMISTRY, and continuing to support my musical journey of love. Having the last two decades of my career culminate in a live album recorded in Detroit, in the city and with the people who first heard “Love Calls” and helped put me on the map, is epic.”

This also coincides with the release of his first book “Share My Life: A Journey of Love, Faith, and Redemption”. The memoir traces Kem’s transformative journey from childhood to homelessness to internationally renowned singer-songwriter.

Kem is also currently on his co-headlining “Soul II Soul” tour alongside Ledisi and special guest Musiq Soulchild.

#HipHopNews: Trina Performs For NPR's Tiny Desk Concert
Twenty-five years after making her debut, Trina took a trip down memory lane while performing for the NPR concert series. Joined by her band, including a bassist, keyboardist, and background vocalists, she put a new spin on some of the biggest hits spanning her legendary career.

WATCH HERE
The rap icon kicked off the 15-minute set with “Mama,” which she dedicated to her late mother who died of cancer in 2019. “Without her, there would be no me,” said Trina. “She’s the reason I’m standing here right now.”

Then it was time to turn things up as Trina took it back to 2000 with “Da Baddest Bitch,” the title track off her debut album.
“Now I wanna introduce you guys to the baddest bitch,” Trina told the audience. “The original baddest bitch.”

Trina was back on the prowl with her 2007 single “Single Again,” dedicated to all the single ladies. Then came the Kelly Rowland-assisted breakup anthem “Here We Go,” which Trina called the biggest song of her career.

But she saved the best for last, capping off her five-song medley with “Nann Ni**a” as her band helped breathe new life into the hip-hop classic.

Janet Jackson in talks for a biographical TV mini-series that follows her life in music and relationship with brother Michael Jackson
Just days before she hits the road once again for her first tour in four years - the Together Again World Tour - Janet Jackson is looking to tell her life story on the small screen.

The 56-year-old singer is reportedly in talks with various writers to turn her life story into a TV mini-series, according to a report from The Sun.
'Janet and her team are in talks with writers hoping to find the right one to pen a biopic,' a source said, adding the Lifetime TV network is reportedly interested.

'The story would document Janet’s privileged yet difficult beginnings, rise to stardom and her relationship with her brother Michael Jackson,' the source added.
The source continued, 'The plan is to make it a mini series and use her music to make the soundtrack.'

While musical biopics on the big screen have been plentiful in the past few years, such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, the biographical TV series is not nearly as common.
Jackson hasn't commented publicly on the report at this time, and it's unclear how far along the potential project may be.

The potential interest from Lifetime also makes sense, since the network aired last year's documentary Janet Jackson, which was cable's top documentary with over 21 million viewers.

Lifetime also announced last month they were moving forward with a second documentary that will follow the singer on her Together Again tour.
The documentary series, entitled, Janet Jackson: Family First, 'will chronicle the legendary singer, songwriter, producer, author, actor, philanthropist and global icon as she embarks on her 2023 "Together Again" tour.

It will also follow, 'her collaboration with brother Randy Jackson to reunite the family band after 40 years since their last performance.'

The series will be a follow-up from the 2022 documentary, 'with the next chapter in Janet's journey, in her own words and experiences with an exclusive, intimate, and honest look at her life, family, and legendary artistry.'

The documentary will also celebrate Janet Jackson's 50th anniversary in entertainment and spotlight the milestones for two of Jackson's most critically acclaimed albums - 25 years of "The Velvet Rope", and 30 years of "janet."

Janet Jackson: Family First is currently filming and will simulcast on Lifetime and A&E, with the release to be announced.
'I was touched by the love and support from the wonderful fans who enjoyed the documentary last year,' Janet said in a statement.
'I am excited to continue to share my story, and welcome fans into my life and the 'Together Again' tour. Thank you for your never-ending support, and I hope you enjoy the next chapter,' she added

Executive producer Randy Jackson added, 'In this next chapter in the documentary, Janet and I are thrilled to welcome viewers on the road with us as we embark on the 'Together Again' tour, celebrating the milestone of 50 years of Janet's career with fans across the country.'

'We look forward to the continued partnership with Lifetime and A&E, and to sharing our family with viewers,' Randy added.
The Together Again World Tour kicks off April 14 in Hollywood, Florida, with one stop in Canada (Toronto) in May.

The tour concludes June 21 in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena, with Ludacris serving as her opening act.
Jackson has teased that a new album will be dropping at some point, though no release date has been given.

Wendy Williams’ loved ones worry about her suspicious ‘new friends’ as she struggles with addiction and health problems
Wendy Williams' loved ones have reportedly started suspecting her new pack of friends of suspicious activity.
Wendy's close entourage is reportedly concerned about the new people and their intentions around the former queen of daytime TV.
“Wendy does not have many real friends, but the few that are coming around are causing some concern for the people that do truly care about her," an insider close to The Wendy Williams host told Page Six.

The source claimed: "The real concern is when she has people over her house.
"She has jewelry and designer purses laying around.”
The insider concluded: "Wendy is not in the best state of mind. So, unfortunately, people will take advantage of that."

Last year, the talk show host was absent for most of her final season of The Wendy Williams Show.
She battled myriad health issues, including Graves' disease, lymphedema, and substance abuse.
In September 2022, Wendy checked herself into rehab for "severe alcohol use" in California.
The hostess, who previously claimed she was sober, had several public incidents involving alcohol before checking into a treatment center.

In March, The U.S. Sun reported that the TV star was caught drinking alcoholic beverages while barhopping on a Friday night.

A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Wendy was "drinking cosmos" with a group she had met earlier that evening.
The source claimed Wendy appeared "completely by herself," except for her driver and bodyguard when she arrived at Fresco by Scotto.
"She was staring off into the distance until someone she knew happened to walk in."

Later on, the group headed to the gay bar known as Townhouse.
An onlooker added: "When the bartender asked her what she wanted to drink, she simply said, 'Something to get me drunk.'"

In a statement, Wendy's rep told The U.S. Sun: "Wendy was celebrating her upcoming new opportunities.
"She wanted to celebrate as she has things happening, making her feel like she has a new lease on life."
"Several projects are coming down the pipeline, and she was celebrating those things. Wendy loves her fans and fully supports the LGBTQ community, which is a big part of her fan base," the statement ended.

NEW PROJECT?
Recently, the TV personality appeared to be filming her new reality show in her hometown of Asbury Park.
Eyewitness Sheree Kelly told The U.S. Sun: "They had been filming her sitting on this throne chair that was set-up on the boardwalk."
Another source added: "Wendy is filming a reality show. She rocked up to New York celebrity hotspot Fresco by Scotto and had a producer hand out Non-Disclosure Agreements to patrons."

Angel Reese says she will go to White House with LSU despite being 'hurt' by Jill Biden's comments
Why the controversy between 2 NCAA women’s basketball stars is a double standardScroll back up to restore default view.
LSU star Angel Reese will join her team for their upcoming trip to the White House to celebrate their recent National Championship win over Iowa, despite being "hurt" that First Lady Jill Biden suggested that both teams be invited.

Reese told ESPN's "SportsCenter" on Friday morning that she's willing to put her feelings aside and attend because she's "a team player" and she wants to do what's best for the team.
“At the beginning we were hurt, it was emotional for us because we know how hard we worked all year for everything and just being able to see that, that hurt us in the moment.

“But just going back on it, you don’t get that experience ever so being able to go back, and I know my team probably wants to go for sure and my coaches is supportive of that so I’m going to do what’s best for the team and if they would like to go and we decide we’re going to go, then we’re going to go.

“But it was tough just seeing that in the beginning but I think we’ll all come together and I think it’ll be good.”

It's been a ridiculous week for Reese, and it started with LSU beating Caitlin Clark and Iowa to win the National Championship. Reese became the focus when she did a "you can't see me" gesture toward Iowa, something which Clark herself had done earlier. However Reese caught a lot of flack for being so competitive while Clark got pretty much zero, once again illustrating how Black people — Black women especially — are criticized for doing what white people do freely.

Then Jill Biden commented that she wanted to invite both LSU and Iowa to the White House “because they played such a good game.” A visit to the White House is typically reserved for winners only, so Reese and some of her teammates took offense to the First Lady also wanting to visit with Iowa, the losers. The First Lady's press secretary later clarified that she hadn't meant to disrespect LSU, and that the invitation would be extended to only the winners as customary.

Even though Reese first declined the invite, saying LSU wouldn't attend due to the "double standard," the school later announced that the team accepted the invitation. Reese was the last piece of the puzzle, so it now appears that the entire team is committed to going.

Tom Hanks Dragged Into Son Chet’s Assault Battle With Ex-Girlfriend, Actor Allegedly Referred Woman To ‘Spiritual Healer’
Tom Hanks has been dragged into his son Chet’s nasty court war with an ex-girlfriend — with the A-list star being named as a potential witness according to RadarOnline.com.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Chet has asked a court to sanction his ex Kiana Parker as part of their dispute.

As first reported, Chet and Kiana have been fighting in court ever since their breakup.
In January 2021, Kiana obtained a restraining order against Chet claiming he had attacked her multiple times during their relationship. She pointed to an alleged incident in October 2020 and another in January 2021.

During one incident, Kiana said Chet became enraged after she tried to leave a hotel room. She said he grabbed her wrists and arms to keep her inside. During the incident, she said Chet threw a beer bottle at her.

In the documents, she claimed Chet told her she was a “ghetto black b----” and that nobody would believe her because he’s “Chet Hanks.”

Weeks later, a video of them fighting leaked online. A bloodied Chet filmed the end of an altercation they had at his home in Texas. He said Kiana brought “three menacing large men” with her to take property after their split. He said a fight broke out that included Chet allegedly being smashed in the face with a pot. Kiana denied all allegations of wrongdoing and argued self-defense.

Chet then filed a lawsuit against Kiana for theft, assault and battery. Tom’s son said Kiana was the abusive one during the relationship. In addition, he accused her of using his credit cards to pay her rent without his consent.

In response, Kiana filed her own civil lawsuit against Chet accusing him of assault. She demanded $1 million in damages.
In the suit, Kiana provided additional details of the alleged hotel room encounter.
“Hanks became aggressive and hostile. As [Kiana] was lying in bed, Hanks started verbally abusing and threatening her. He shoved her, threatening her with imminent bodily injury, while stating “[I] would not disrespect [him], [he] was in control, [he] would not allow what happened with his mom and dad’s relationship to happen to our” and other things,” the suit read.

Now, as part of Chet’s lawsuit, he has asked the court to sanction his ex for refusing to sit for a deposition and for failing to turn over evidence.

He said Kiana has failed to comply with the court’s order and wants her hit with $11k in sanctions.
As part of his motion, Chet also revealed that Kiana’s lawyers told his counsel that the “case should be settled because it would be embarrassing for [Chet’s] father, Tom Hanks.”
Chet’s lawyer said, “True to this point, [Kiana] has attempted to make Tom Hanks a witness by claiming that he referred her to a “healer.” However, Chet said Kiana has refused to identify the alleged healer.

In her motion, Kiana’s lawyer said, “Mr. Hanks’ father provided a spiritual healer to treat Ms. Parker for the emotional distress she suffered while living in Los Angeles, CA with Mr. Hanks. She did not retain any of the records for this healer.”

The judge has yet to rule on the matter.

‘Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told’: Documentary Is coming to Hulu
“Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told” will take a deep dive into the history of the yearly event in the 1990s that highlighted Black culture, HBCUs, and Hip Hop.
The documentary is executive produced by the likes of So So Def owner Jermaine Dupri, Luther ‘Uncle Luke’ Campbell of Miami’s 2 Live Crew and many others.

Freaknik started back in 1983. It was a small gathering then, but over the years and into the ‘90s, hundreds of thousands of people came from all over the country to the big event.
The community became outraged over huge parties, chaos in the streets and crime.
In the ‘90s, then-Mayor Bill Campbell’s staff made a big decision to stop Freaknik.

After a successful 1990s run as the premier urban spring break party of the South, Freaknik fizzled out in 1999. The picnic, which snarled traffic and upset some Atlantans, nearly made a return in 2016.

In 2019, Carlos Neal, of Atlanta-based promotion company After 9, resurrected the infamous Atlanta event with a daylong concert at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood.
A lineup featuring Project Pat, Uncle Luke, Da Brat, Foxy Brown and many more nearly sold out the venue and attracted an adult audience old enough to remember the rambunctious Freakniks of the past, but young enough to still party responsibly.

Mo'Nique Tearfully Explains Why She Hid Her Sexuality
Mo'Nique has tearfully explained why she hid her sexuality. The "Almost Christmas" actress has reflected on her past experience of keeping her sexuality a secret from her family to prevent her religious grandmother from recognizing herself a failure for having a gay grandchild.

In her new Netflix stand-up comedy special "My Name Is Mo'Nique", the 55-year-old could not hold back her tears as she shared her story. "And I felt cowardly when my grandmother left, because I couldn't tell my grandmother who her granddaughter really was," she confessed.

The "Interwoven" actress additionally explained the relationship she had with her grandma by saying, "I adored how she adored me. When we would walk into the store, if I was on a magazine cover, she made sure everybody in that fucking store knew that I was her grandchild, and I was her prize."

On the reasons why she hid her sexuality, Mo'Nique elaborated, "So I couldn't tell my grandmother my secret thoughts and my fantasies because I didn't want her to love me privately, and I did not want her to leave this Earth thinking that she was a failure. Because had I told her my secret thoughts, she would have left thinking she had failed."
"But I kept that secret, and I promised myself I wouldn't ever tell anyone that. I would take that to my grave, because I saw how they treated the people in my family with that disease - because they made us believe it was a disease," the "Bessie" actress further divulged.

After years of hiding her sexuality, she could finally open up about it to her husband Sidney Hicks. She explained, "I'm so scared, because I'm saying, 'Please, when I tell you, don't walk away from me - because it'll take my breath away. But I gotta tell you, because you know me, you know when something ain't right?' And something hasn't been right for years."

"But because I'm a celebrity, a star, I could mask it. I could mask it with my pretty things. But that night, the mask had to come off," she added. On how her confession to her husband went, she described, "I said, 'daddy, I want to be with another woman sexually,' and he looked at me so beautifully and so patient and so loving and said, 'B***h, me too.' "

In the special, the "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" actress stated, "When you're born with that, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Nothing. And please understand that I tried." However, she also made it clear that she is "not all the way" lesbian.

Mo'Nique and Sidney tied the knot in 2006. The two had 17-year-old twin sons Jonathan and David together. At the beginning of March, the comedian revealed her decision to end her open marriage with her husband to The Hollywood Reporter. "Life began to happen. I began to see a strength I had never seen before. He loved me at my worst. I didn't want to sacrifice that just for a lay. So I grew out of that," she declared.

Ben Affleck Defends Decision Not To Cast Any Actor To Play Michael Jordan In Movie About The Athlete
Ben Affleck Defends Decision Not to Cast Any Actor to Play Michael Jordan in Movie About the Athlete
Ben Affleck calls Michael Jordan "too majestic to have anyone impersonate him" in "Air". Although the movie revolves around the story of NBA superstar Jordan's collaboration with Nike, Ben said it was a "deliberate choice" to only show shots of magazine covers and snippets of archival footage of the real-life player.

"How do you tell a story about Michael Jordan and never see him? When you are that person, when you become so much more than a hero or an athlete or even an icon, you start to become an idea to people. You touch them and just start to represent hope and excellence and greatness," Ben said.

"You are one of a kind. And there is no way I was ever going to ask an audience to believe that anybody other than Michael Jordan was Michael Jordan. Which was also out of my own naked self-interest, frankly, because I knew it would destroy the movie."

"You will see him [in archival clips] in the movie, but you will see Michael Jordan as he truly is in his authentic masterful genius which exists for all of us to see. It was a deliberate choice. I thought he was too majestic to have anyone impersonate him and - as I told him - 'You're too old to play the part.' "

Ben added in a press statement, "Michael Jordan is so famous that I truly felt if we ever saw an actor playing it would be hard to get the audience to suspend their disbelief, because, in my opinion, there's no convincing anybody that someone who isn't Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan."

"We felt a more interesting way to tell the story would be for him to exist in the ether of the movie. To be talked about by everyone but not seen is somewhat analogous to the experience of celebrities and sports stars in modern life, because most people go their whole lives without ever meeting or seeing their favourite sports star or celebrity in person."

"So we only see Michael in clips and flashes. We don't ever fully see him in person because to see him in person would be to put his feet on the ground in a way that the movie doesn't want to do."

Nashville council will vote to reinstate expelled Black Democrat in state legislature
Tennessee state representatives Justin Jones and Justin Pearson were expelled from their positions yesterday (April 6) following a contentious vote spearheaded by the Republican majority in the state House. Jones and Pearson were the youngest Black members in the legislative body. But less than 24 hours after their swift removal, Jones could be on his way back to the state Capitol.

A majority of the members of the Nashville Metropolitan Council announced today (April 7) that they will vote to reinstate Jones to the Tennessee state legislature. Republicans decided to kick them out because of their participation in a gun control protest in the chamber on March 30.

The state constitution allows any expelled lawmaker to be appointed by a county commission back to their seat. They’re also eligible to run in the special election to permanently fill the post. More than half of Nashville’s 40-seat Metropolitan Council confirmed to NBC News or shared on social media that they will vote on Monday (April 10) to give Jones his old job back.

“They removed the voice from 140,000 people who voted for them,” Councilmember Burkley Allen told NBC of the controversial move by Republicans. “It’s a terrible precedent to set, that we disagree with you and you’ve disrupted our House proceedings and therefore we’re expelling you. That’s not the way democracy works.”

Gloria Johnson, a white representative who also faced an expulsion vote, was spared from losing her seat after she didn’t receive a supermajority. To many observers, it reeked of a racist double standard. Even the elected official herself acknowledged it, telling reporters that keeping her seat “might have to do with the color of my skin.”

Jones has been unapologetic with his views both before and after his expulsion. If anything, his removal from the Tennessee House has only energized his supporters even more. “They thought by expelling us they would silence us, they would silence our movements that we’re part of, but in fact they’ve amplified it, because the nation can see how racist they are,” he told Democracy Now in an interview seen below. “The nation can see how retaliatory and absurd and authoritarian they are.”

SZA's 'SOS Tour" reportedly raked in nearly $35 million
On Dec. 9, 2022, SZA unleashed her highly anticipated SOS album. Equipped with 23 records, the sophomore LP included appearances from Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Preceding the release were well-received singles like “Shirt,” “I Hate U,” and “Good Days.” SOS quickly grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 thanks to the 125,000 album-equivalent units sold. She stayed on top of the list for 10 consecutive weeks.

Midway through her chart-topping dominance, the St. Louis-born star kicked off her highly anticipated “SOS Tour.” The 18-date trek began on Feb. 21 and ran through March 23, bringing her relatable hits to arenas all across the country. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore yesterday (April 6), the “SOS Tour” grossed $34.5 million and sold a whopping 238,000 tickets, averaging $1.9 million and 12,812 tickets per night.

SZA previously stopped by Rolling Stone’s “Music Now” podcast a few months back and shared some of her expectations ahead of the tour, and it’s safe to say she delivered on her promises. “I’m really just excited to give people whatever they want,” she said. “Because I feel I’ve been gone for so long and people have been kind enough to watch me perform the same set for f**king five years, and that is really annoying and I get that. The patience and the love that they’ve shown me the whole way, I just wanna give them the craziest experience they could ever have and play whatever they want.”

SOS follows SZA’s widely loved 2017 debut, Ctrl, a 14-song project with appearances from Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, James Fauntleroy, Isaiah Rashad, and plenty more. Ctrl debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 3 and has since gone triple Platinum.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Break Up After 6 Years Together
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have broken up after six years of dating, a source close to the pair confirms
The split news comes as Swift is traveling the country for her sold-out Eras tour, at which the actor hasn't been spotted.
Over the years, the famously private couple kept their cards close to the chest, with the English actor, 32, and Grammy winner, 33, deflecting about engagement rumors.

"If I had a pound for every time I think I've been told I've been engaged, then I'd have a lot of pound coins," quipped Alwyn previously to WSJ. Magazine.
"I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't say," he added of whether he was set to walk down the aisle with the singer-songwriter.

Swift began dating the Boy Erased actor in 2016. A source previously told PEOPLE that Swift "is very happy" in their relationship. "He is her rock. Their relationship is mature and wonderful," the source added.

The pair also began collaborating on music together over the pandemic, culminating in a Grammy Awards win. 2020 sister albums Folklore and Evermore each included collaborations with Alwyn, who wrote several songs under the pseudonym William Bowery. Folklore ended up taking home the 2021 Grammy for album of the year and Evermore was nominated for the same award at the 2022 ceremony.

During her acceptance speech, Swift gave a shout-out to the actor.

"Joe is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine," she said.
During her Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions film, which was released in November 2020, the singer opened up about how their collaboration came to be. "I was like, 'Hey, this could be really weird and we could hate this [but] because we're in quarantine and there's nothing else going on, could we just try to write this song together?'"

Alwyn is credited as a co-writer on "Betty" and "Exile" from Folklore and on "Champagne Problems," "Coney Island," and "Evermore" on Evermore.

"Joe and I really love sad songs. We've always bonded over music," Swift told Apple Music's Zane Lowe in December 2020. "We write the saddest songs. We just really love sad songs. What can I say?"

Many of Swift's 2017 album reputation's love songs — "Gorgeous," "Call It What You Want" and "Delicate" — appeared to be inspired by Alwyn and the couple's low-key relationship.

After breaking his silence about the romance by refusing to speak about his girlfriend in an interview with British Vogue for its October 2018 issue, the actor continued to demur when prodded to speak about their undercover courtship.

"I understand people's curiosity in the world we live in, about people's private lives. Well, I don't understand it, but I know it exists," said Alwyn in another interview with Total Film. "For me, I just don't feel it's something I want to offer up to be picked apart by people who don't know about it, and it's just not theirs to have."

"I'm aware people want to know about that side of things," the rising star told British Vogue. "I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work."

In August 2018, the stars were photographed holding hands on a rare public outing in London just one month after they retreated to Turks and Caicos for vacation. Swift — who was also filming Cats at the time — skipped the Grammys and attended the BAFTAs instead with Alwyn.

They were also spotted partying with pals after the Oscars last February, with Swift posting a photo of her sparkly Ralph & Russo dress on the night of.

James Corden Sets Star-Studded Lineup for Final ‘Late Late Show’ Run Including Tom Cruise and Ben Affleck
The end of an era is on the horizon for late-night television fans. James Corden is stepping away from hosting “The Late Late Show” at the end of the month, wrapping up an eight-year run on the network. But while fans of Corden’s unique brand of humor will inevitably be sad to see him leave, he’s planning to go out with a bang before he turns his focus to his acting career.

CBS has announced that Corden’s final three weeks at the helm of the show will feature a who’s who of A-list celebrity guests. During his final run of episodes, Corden will be joined by Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Tom Cruise, Josh Gad, Jennifer Garner, Brett Goldstein, Kate Hudson, Allison Janney, the Kardashian family, Mila Kunis, Seth Meyers, Billy Porter and Sharon Stone. He’ll also debut three more of his beloved “Carpool Karaoke” segments, including one with K-pop superstars Blackpink.

While specific dates for each guest’s appearance have yet to be announced, the network revealed that Allison Janney will appear in the last several episodes. The Oscar-winning actress currently holds the record for the most appearances on “The Late Late Show” with 15 episodes to her name, and it appears that she wants to pad her stats to ensure that nobody overtakes her during Corden’s farewell tour.

Corden took over the show from Craig Ferguson in 2015 as part of a larger overhaul of  CBS’ late-night lineup following the retirement of David Letterman. He joined the network at the same time that Stephen Colbert began hosting “The Late Show.” Corden’s positivity and knack for churning out viral musical segments quickly turned the show into something of a cultural phenomenon. His “Carpool Karaoke” videos, which feature famous musicians singing along to their own music while driving in a car with Corden, became so popular that it spawned a spin-off series on Apple TV+ and a primetime special that won Corden an Emmy award.

Corden will receive a primetime sendoff when “The Last Last Late Late Show with James Corden Carpool Karaoke Special” airs on April 27 at 10 p.m. on CBS. The final episode of “The Late Late Show” will air in its typical 12:37 p.m. slot that night.

Man Arrested For Vandalizing Tina Knowles’ L.A. Residence
A man was taken into custody for trespassing and vandalizing Tina Knowles‘ property.
TMZ recently reported that LAPD quickly responded to Knowles’ residence last week after reports of a man hurling rocks at her mailbox from the front of the home.

According to sources, law enforcement dispatched multiple units, including a helicopter, to the scene. Although the suspect fled immediately, the helicopter continuously monitored his movements. Police officers were able to locate and apprehend him after a brief foot chase.

In addition, authorities say the suspect exhibited unusual behavior, resulting in a 5150 psychiatric hold. While Tina’s mailbox sustained minor damages, she opted not to pursue charges or file a report.

Knowles isn’t the only celebrity who has faced recent targeting. NBA legend, Michael Jordan, had his Illinois residence broken into earlier this month. The suspect, 18-year-old Raiden K. Hagedorn, was arrested for unlawfully entering the home of the basketball icon. Hagedorn received three misdemeanor charges including, one count of criminal trespass to occupied residence and two counts of criminal damage to property.

George Foreman’s Accuser Challenge Him To Lie Detector Test; Seek $12M A Piece
Two women have come forward claiming they were sexually abused by George Foreman when they were minors in the 1970s.
Gwen Hunter and Denise Shipes also claim the legendary boxer showed them in a bad light by denying the allegations, although they both passed a lie detector test.

Foreman countersued both women, who also challenged him to pass a lie detector test, TMZ reported.
Samuel Dordulian, the attorney for both women, told the outlet that her clients took polygraph tests with one of the world’s leading examiners in the field, who reportedly has been used by Foreman’s legal team in the past.

Foreman spoke out about the allegations in July 2022, calling them extortion attempts.
“Over the past six months, two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family. They are falsely claiming that I sexually abused them over 45 years ago in the 1970s. I adamantly and categorically deny these allegations,” Foreman said in a statement to The Post.

“The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies. I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God. I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ schemes and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.”

According to TMZ, the two women’s fathers were friends with the Olympic Gold Medalist and had a “working relationship” with him at the time of the alleged abuse. A lawsuit is expected to be filed in Los Angeles in the coming days, with both seeking $12.5 million a piece.
