#MAGFAB: Naomi Campbell Covers Vogue India March-April 2023, Lensed by Campbell Addy
Supermodel Naomi Campbell covers the March-April 2023 issue of Vogue India. Kate Phelan styled the supermodel legend in rich images by Campbell Addy.

Naomi wears major jewelry by Sabyasachi and fashion, too, throughout the images. Never has Campbell had a Vogue India cover, nor a solo fashion feature, even though she’s been coming to India since 1994.
“The second time that I ever travelled alone in my life [to India], I went to Trivandrum,” Naomi reveals to Shriya Zamindar.  “I went there by myself in 2012 to learn about yoga. I saw yoga being done in all these different ways, for different purposes. But I specifically wanted to know how to find this triangle of peace,” she says to the photo shoot team.  “I wanted to go to the source and teach myself. I stayed there for a month and put my phone in the safe. There were only two people who knew how to contact me. I immersed myself in the experience and I loved it.”

Speaking of Indian jewelry and Sabyasachi’s jewelry specifically, the supermodel explains her passion. “It’s not just the front of the jewellery that I like, but the intricate detailing that India does behind the necklace. These are beautiful details, and we just don’t see any of this workmanship anywhere else.”
Naomi Campbell’s mission in India has taken on a new focus. “I just launched my new initiative, EMERGE, in Qatar and we’re looking to bring it to India. It highlights young creatives and gives them a platform so that the world gets to see them,” she explains. “The concept is to invest in them and bring them to London and Milan, mixing them in where they should be. It’s about highlighting their work which doesn’t get highlighted.”

Campbell is working with Qatar Creates and Her Excellency Sheika Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani

#RHOA: Drew Sidora Bringing Divorce Drama For New 'RHOA' Season!!!
Drew Sidora will be serving hot tea on her divorce for the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ... we've learned producers brought cameras out again to capture the fallout from her explosive allegations.

Production sources tell us … 'RHOA' fans will get all the scoop on Drew's contentious divorce from Ralph Pittman, despite the fact group shoots for the upcoming 15th season wrapped back in January.

We're told producers started rolling on new confessional interviews this week, with Drew talking all about what went down leading up to the split.

Our sources say production is also filming new confessionals with the other housewives ... so you gotta imagine they all have strong feelings and reactions to Drew's split.

As of now, fans won't be hearing from Ralph. We're told he hasn't filmed anything -- with Drew or solo -- talking about the split. Interestingly, we're told Drew and Ralph are still living under the same roof ... possibly for the sake of their two children.

#NewMusic from LaTocha of Xscape Releases New Solo Single “Stay With Me”
LaTocha Scott from the legendary group Xscape has just released the solo single “Stay With Me”. The song will be included on her upcoming debut Gospel album “The Invitation: A Conversation With God” which she announced earlier this year.

She also premiered a visual to coincide with the song. She adds:
“The video concept is a live performance of me renewing my vows to God asking him to continue to stay with me. It has always been a passion of mine to do inspirational music, it has been my foundation, and that is very evident, even when I sing R&B music. I can’t escape that.”

The music video is directed by Rich Laru.

WATCH
LaTocha’s debut Gospel album “The Invitation: A Conversation With God” will be released on April 7th under Motown Gospel/Capitol CMG. and screwing with her finances.

You'll recall, the two raced to file for divorce on February 27 ... with Drew beating him to the courthouse by just one hour. Her original filing made no mention of his alleged infidelity or abuse. She amended her divorce petition after learning Ralph had, surprisingly, filed docs of his own.
Messy for sure, and 'RHOA' fans will have a front-row seat.

#HipHopNews: J. Cole Contemplates Retirement On New Song
On Friday, J Cole dropped his new collaboration with BTS member J-Hope, “On the Street.” On his introspective verse, Cole once again toys with retirement, but admits that he’s conflicted about hanging up the mic.

“Some days, I wonder if I need to pick a different hobby / I’m deep in with this rappin’, it’s all a ni**a know / I never didn’t nothin’ better, it’s hard to let it go,” he raps.

He knows that the time will eventually come when he will say goodbye. “But like a father watching his daughter / Walk down the altar with tears in his eyes / You gotta let her grow / And so I shall, but first, I been honing my style.”

However, he’s not sure if the time is now. “As the moon jumps over the cow / I contemplate if I should wait to hand over the crown,” he adds. “And stick around for a bit longer, I got a strange type of hunger / The more I eat, the more it gets stronger / The more it gets stronger / I said the more it gets stronger.”

Cole has contemplated retirement before. Back in late 2020, he shared a timeline for his future projects including 2021’s The Off-Season and the unreleased It’s a Boy, culminating with what could be his final album, The Fall Off.

“Oh, bro, I’m super comfortable with the potential of being done with this shit. But I’m never going to say, Oh, this is my last album,” he previously told SLAM magazine. “Because I never know how I’m going to feel two years, three years, four years down the line, 10 years down the line, but please believe, I’m doing all this work for a reason.”

While his rap days may be numbered, Cole continues to release new music. He and Dreamville Records executive produced the Creed III soundtrack, which contains his new song “Adonis Interlude (The Montage).”

Texas Tech coach Mark Adams suspended for 'racially insensitive' comment
Texas Tech has suspended men's basketball coach Mark Adams for what the school is calling an "inappropriate, unacceptable, and racially insensitive comment."
According to the school, Adams was encouraging a player to be more receptive to coaching and "referenced Bible verses about workers, teachers, parents, and slaves serving their masters." Adams apologized to the team after he found out the player was upset about the use of the Bible verse, a source told ESPN.

Athletic director Kirby Hocutt was made aware of the incident. He issued Adams a written reprimand but then made the decision to suspend the coach to conduct a "more thorough inquiry of Adams' interactions with his players and staff."

Texas Tech finished its regular season with a home loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday, the Red Raiders' third straight loss. After a 10-2 start, Texas Tech went 5-13 in Big 12 play and is 16-15 overall. The Red Raiders face West Virginia in the first round of the Big 12 tournament Wednesday.

Adams was already under pressure from influential people around the program because of Texas Tech's disappointing season, sources told ESPN. He signed a contract extension last spring that runs through the 2026-27 season and would pay him $15.5 million over five years.

If Adams were to be fired without cause, he would be owed 60% of what is remaining on his contract: more than $7 million.

Adams, 66, graduated from Texas Tech in 1979 and has been a coach with the Red Raiders since 2016, first as an assistant under Chris Beard and the past two seasons as Beard's replacement. He also spent two seasons as the program's director of basketball operations under Tubby Smith from 2013 to 2015.

Adams has been a longtime college coach in Texas prior to joining the Texas Tech staff, making stops at five schools over 30 years

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Creed III’ KNOCKS OUT it’s debuts to the tune of $58.7 million
“ Creed III ” punched above its weight at the domestic box office in its first weekend in theaters. The MGM release knocked “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” out of first place and far surpassed both industry expectations and the opening weekends of the first two movies in the franchise.

Playing in 4,007 locations in North America, “Creed III” earned an estimated $58.7 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday. Going into the weekend, analysts expected the film to open in the $30 million range. The first “Creed” debuted to $29 million in 2015 and “Creed II” opened to $35 million in 2018.

Michael B. Jordan made his directorial debut with “Creed III,” which pits his character Adonis against a childhood friend, Dame, played by Jonathan Majors. It’s the first in the Rocky/Creed films to not feature Sylvester Stallone, who chose not to return because of creative differences.

“This is beyond all of our expectations. And we knew that we had something special — we tested the movie and it tested great, but the public responded so resoundingly to it,” said Erik Lomis, MGM’s head of distribution. “Everything went right here starting with the movie itself ... It was just up to us not to break it when they gave it to us and we didn’t.”

Strong reviews helped “Creed III,” which is currently sitting at an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, while audiences gave it an A- CinemaScore. The audience was largely male (63%), diverse (36% Black, 28% Latino, 23% white and 13% Asian/other) and young (55% between 18 and 34) according to exit polls.

Over 80% of general audiences said the film was a “definite recommend.” With Black audiences, that number ballooned to 89%.

“I’ve been doing this a long time and that’s rarefied air,” Lomis said. “People love the movie.”
It’s also the most expensive “Creed” film, with a reported production budget of $75 million, compared to the others which cost $35 million and $50 million. Internationally, “Creed III” earned $41.8 million from 75 markets, making its global debut $100.4 million.

It’s a big moment for Amazon, who acquired MGM for $8.5 billion last year, and could have simply released “Creed III” on its streaming service with a limited theatrical run. But they chose theatrical, and it paid off.

“Amazon threw their weight behind this movie like only they can do,” Lomis said. “They supercharged the campaign with marketing support across all their verticals on the platform and beyond the platform. That shows a commitment to the theatrical business model from Amazon and MGM, which I think should be exciting to everybody.”

The company’s next major theatrical release is the Ben Affleck-directed “Air,” starring Matt Damon, out next month.

“Ant-Man 3” slipped to a distant second in its third weekend in theaters with $12.5 million from North America and $22 million internationally. The Marvel and Disney film’s global cume now stands at $419.5 million.

Third place went to Universal’s “ Cocaine Bear,” which added $11 million in its second weekend in theaters to bring its domestic total to $41.3 million.

Crunchyroll’s “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To The Swordsmith Village” placed fourth with $10.1 million. The series is based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga about a boy avenging his family.

Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company’s “Jesus Revolution” rounded out the top five with $8.7 million. The film starring Kelsey Grammer as a pastor in the 1970s has made $30.5 million in two weekends in theaters against a $15 million production budget.

Opening outside of the top five was Guy Ritchie’s “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre,” a spy caper with Jason Statham, Hugh Grant and Aubrey Plaza that made $3.2 million from 2,168 locations this weekend. The film, originally an STX release, was in distribution limbo for some time. Lionsgate recently stepped in to oversee the domestic rollout.

The success of “Creed III” bodes well for other releases coming in March, including “John Wick Chapter 4” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods.”

“We’re going to have an incredible March,” said Paul Dergarabedian, the senior media analyst for Comscore. “It’s going to feel more like summer than spring with hits coming one after the next that will create incredible momentum for the summer movie season.”

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Comscore, with Wednesday through Sunday in parentheses. Final domestic figures will be released Monday.

1. “Creed III,” $58.7 million. 2. “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” $12.5 million. 3. “Cocaine Bear,” $11 million. 4. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To The Swordsmith Village,” $10.1 million. 5. “Jesus Revolution,” $8.7 million. 6. “Avatar: The Way of Water,” $3.6 million. 7. “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre,” $3.2 million. 8. “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” $2.7 million. 9. “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” $1.2 million. 10. “80 for Brady,” $845,000.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Returning After 4-Year Hiatus
The once-iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is making a comeback. During the company’s 2022 earnings call on Friday, chief financial officer Timothy Johnson said the brand is seeking to revamp the former annual show following a four-year hiatus.

“We’re going to continue to lean into the marketing spend to invest in the business, both at top-of-funnel and also to support the new version of our fashion show, which is to come later this year,” he said.

A Victoria’s Secret & Co. spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday that the brand is “always innovating and ideating in all spheres of the business to continue to put our customer at the center of all we do and reinforce our commitment to championing women’s voices and their unique perspectives.”

The Best Bridesmaid Dresses for Every Budget, From Under-$100 Gowns to Hollywood-Inspired Classics
The statement continued, “As we’ve previously shared, our new brand projection and mission will continue to be our guiding principle. This will lead us into new spaces like reclaiming one of our best marketing and entertainment properties to date and turning it on its head to reflect who we are today. We’re excited to share more later this year.”

In November 2019, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was canceled amid several controversies surrounding the brand, including the late Jeffrey Epstein (Former corporate CEO Les Wexner’s close ties to the disgraced mogul, who was charged with the sex trafficking of underage girls), declining sales and body image issues.

Months later, in February 2020, the company faced more backlash following a report from The New York Times that accused L Brands’, the parent company of Victoria’s Secret, former chief marketing officer Edward Razek of creating a “culture of misogyny, bullying and harassment.”

At the time, Razek denied the allegations in an email sent to the Times, writing, “The accusations in this reporting are categorically untrue, misconstrued or taken out of context. I’ve been fortunate to work with countless, world-class models and gifted professionals and take great pride in the mutual respect we have for each other.”

This wasn’t the first time the former top executive made headlines. The company announced the resignation of Razek in August 2019 after his controversial and out-of-touch comments in a Vogue interview the previous year, where he mentioned that there was no space for plus-size or transgender models in Victoria’s Secret fashion shows “because the show is a fantasy.” The statement led to backlash for the brand.

Ex-Memphis EMT claims police prevented him from helping Tyre Nichols
Fired Memphis EMT Robert Long testified before the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Board on Friday (March 3), where he claimed that police officers obstructed his ability to provide Tyre Nichols with potentially lifesaving care.

Long was among the medical personnel who responded to the Jan. 7 traffic stop after it turned into a violent scene that left Nichols bloodied and injured after he was beaten by five officers. He died three days later.

“MPD is leaning over the patient in his face, saying loudly that the patient is not going anywhere and that they are not going to uncuff him, impeding patient care,” claimed Long. He also told the board that he assessed Nichols upon arrival. He noted that the 29-year-old had a busted lip, a bump on his head, and a dried bloody nose. He further stated that when he asked the Sacramento native what happened, he responded, “I want to stand up and be uncuffed.”

“I did a visual assessment of the patient, and there was nothing that indicated to me that he was critical, with the information that I knew. I was trying to get information from the patient; even the patient didn’t tell me,” said Long. In February, Long and EMT JaMichael Sandridge’s licenses were suspended by the board. Fallout from the assault on the beloved father has come in the form of multiple firings and suspensions across law enforcement and emergency response agencies.

Disgraced ex-officers Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Justin Smith, Emmitt Martin III and Desmond Mills Jr. have each been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, official misconduct and official oppression. Last month, they pleaded not guilty and are due back in court for a May 1 hearing. RowVaughn Wells, Nichols’ mother, has publicly declared that she will attend every hearing as she seeks justice for her son.

Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors Plan to Collaborate Like ‘De Niro and Pacino’ After ‘Creed III’
Jonathan Majors and Michael B. Jordan are busy promoting “Creed III,” but the pair are hoping to work together again soon.
In “Creed III,” Jordan returns as Adonis Creed and stars opposite Majors, who portrays new antagonist, Damian Anderson. Ahead of the March 3 premiere, the two sat down with the New York Times to discuss the film, their individual careers and how they intend to continue to partner for future projects.

In his directorial debut, Jordan placed immense pressure on himself, which trickled down to his preparation in pitching Majors for the role. “I was all in my head, like, ‘OK, what are the things I would want to hear? This dude can do a million different things right now. What’s going to make him take a chance on this actor-director who hasn’t directed [anything]?’” revealed Jordan.
“I knew I had to be truthful about what this project means to me and I wanted to make sure he knew,” added Jordan.

Jordan admits that the reaction he was anticipating the most was his parents’. He stated, “My mom’s seen it, and my dad just got back from Ghana, so I’m going to show it to him.”

After Majors agreed to join Jordan, the pair’s friendship guided the film’s production. Majors reveals that Jordan’s perception of his role is the reaction that matters most to him. “I care most about what he thinks,” said Majors.

Between their evident respect for one another, Jordan confirms that he plans to work together with Majors again in the future: “We plan on it.”
Majors added an analog to his partnership with Jordan: “De Niro and Pacino.”

Jordan elaborates, “We’re excited about that, and I have those conversations with him. Acting is such a solo journey, where you’re fighting for your place on that call sheet for such a long time. So when you’ve got somebody that doesn’t care as much about that stuff, it’s like, ‘Let’s go. How much damage can we do together?’”

“All of it,” retorts Majors.
Both actors in their thirties, Majors and Jordan could anticipate future partnerships that emulate the work of De Niro and Pacino, similar to the Academy Award winners’ collaborations on “The Godfather: Part II,” “Heat,” “The Irishman” and “Righteous Kill.”

More recently, both “Creed” stars have given villainous turns in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Jordan reprising his role as Killmonger in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and Majors’ premiering as the latest Marvel big bad, Kang the Conqueror, in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”

Chris Brown Will Reportedly Be Questioned By Police After Man Claims He Was Attacked During Alleged London Club Brawl
Chris Brown is reportedly going to be questioned by police in the UK over an alleged club brawl that took place after one of his concerts in London last month. According to The Sun, an altercation broke out between an unidentified man and the singer’s entourage at the Tape nightclub in London, just hours after Brown had taken to the stage to perform at his sold-out show at the O2 Arena. While there was no mention of what transpired for a fight to ensue, per the police report, the man claims he had a bottle thrown on his head, causing him to fall to the ground.

When the victim tried to escape, he was allegedly surrounded by Brown’s entourage who he accuses of attacking him before security officers were eventually able to intervene and diffuse the situation. The man, according to the aforementioned news publication, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his minor injuries and released shortly after. “A row broke out with a guy and Brown’s crowd and the man was hit over the head with a bottle,” a source said of the alleged incident.

“He tried to get up off the ground to escape but he was surrounded and then punched and kicked before security broke it up.” An insider added that surveillance footage from the club has been obtained by cops, who have already spoken to a handful of witnesses. Law enforcement officials are now reportedly looking to speak with Brown about the alleged attack and what transpired between his crew and the man that caused him to be sent to the hospital.

The report comes just weeks after Brown made headlines when a woman on TikTok made some pretty strong allegations about not being let into a club where the singer was hosting because she was black. In the video, the fan said she and her group of friends were all turned away even though their names were supposed to have been on the VIP guest list.

Another woman then emerged in the frame and interjected that they had been told that no black girls were allowed. “You’re handpicking these white women,” she said. A day after the clip had gone viral on social media, Brown addressed the matter by taking to his Instagram Story to write, “STOP IT. I have Black queens all around me. THOP REACHING.”

February was clearly not Brown’s month as he also found himself going back and forth with Kiely Williams, who had taken issue with the R&B singer teaming up with Chloe Bailey for their song “How Does It Feel.” The former 3LW band member felt the need to highlight Brown’s domestic violence past and said that he “creeps up back into the mainstream by getting small nods for featured on black women’s merit.”

“Let him come out with his own record — so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN,” Williams tweeted. And while Brown had been minding his business, performing at his sold-out shows out in Europe, the Virginia native did take the time out of his day to respond, questioning why he continues to be scrutinized for his past while white celebrities with a similar history of domestic abuse are never brought up in those conversations.

“If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old, please kiss my whole entire a**,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “I’m f**king 33. I’m so tired of y’all running wit this narrative. You weird a** ni**as are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f**k out each other in front the world. But that’s ok? It’s entertainment? All y’all can suck my d*ck, disrespectfully.”

Pedro Pascal Shares Support for the LGBTQ Community Amid Anti-Trans Legislation & Drag Show Bans
Pedro Pascal is voicing his support as an ally to the LGBTQ community. The 47-year-old The Last Of Us actor, who has a sister named Lux who came out as trans in 2021, shared photos of the Pride Flag on Sunday (March 5).

“The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind. #LGBTQIA,” he wrote on his Instagram
The line is a lyric from Bob Dylan‘s “Blowin’ In The Wind,” an anthem of the civil rights movement in the ’60s.

Other lyrics of the song include poignant lines like “How many years can some people exist before they’re allowed to be free? / Yes, and how many times can a man turn his head and pretend that he just doesn’t see?”

The gesture of support comes amid an unprecedented surge of “more than 175 anti-LGBTQ bills in 32 states this year, including 23 that target children in schools and school sports,” via HRC.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has just signed a bill banning drag shows in public spaces as well, sparking national outcry, as other states across the country are proposing similar legislation, via NPR.

Meanwhile, House Bill 470, which would ban gender-affirming care in Kentucky for anyone under the age of 18, passed in the state’s House on a 75-22 vote, and is heading to the Senate, via NBC Lexington affiliate LEX18.

Rihanna shares new photo of her son — and the moment she learned she got an Oscar nomination
Rihanna's infant son was by her side when she discovered she'd been nominated for an Oscar — but he won't be tagging along for the event itself.
In a new Instagram post, the singer — who revealed during her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance that she and partner A$AP Rocky are expecting a second baby after welcoming their first son last May — shared a photo of her firstborn.

Noting the little boy's tearful expression, Rihanna captioned the shot, "My son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him."

The star has been nominated in the "Best Original Song' category, and will perform her nominated song, "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, at the March 12 ceremony. As the footage in her Instagram post shows, the singer learned of her Oscars nod while watching the live nominations broadcast on her laptop with her 9-month-old baby boy on her lap.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have not yet shared their son's name publicly, though the baby did recently make his British Vogue debut. Posing with her partner and their baby on the magazine's March cover, the pop star and Fenty founder opened up about motherhood.
"Oh, my God, it's legendary," she said. "It's everything. You really don't remember life before, that's the craziest thing ever. You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don't identify with it because you don't even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because … it doesn't matter."

She also shared how the magazine's beach photo shoot — which caught the attention of photographers — prompted her to preemptively post photos of her son's face for the first time on TikTok.

“I just went straight into protective mode,” she told the magazine of seeing cameras trained on her baby. “Like there wasn’t even time for rage. [Rocky and I] drove up to the trailer area and we sat in the car chatting and working out how we move forward. As parents it just feels so icky, like a violation. ... As we were speaking, we knew they were making calls and deals."

Posting her baby on TikTok, however, undercut those deals, and gave the new mom a sense of control.

"Throw me to the wolves," she said. "Do what you want with me. But he doesn’t have a say in any of this. We’ve been protecting him thus far and you don’t have any consent to be posting photos or selling photos of my child, a minor. Get the hell out of here with that.”

Kim Burrell has offered fans an update on her health condition. After Tyrese Gibson revealed her diagnosis on social media, the Gospel diva assured her online devotees that "all is well."

Taking to Instagram, the 50-year-old shared a selfie and greeted her fans, "Good late evening. I'm so happy to report that all is well." She added, "As most of you know, there's NOTHING that @tyrese wouldn't say or do for me. Everybody please relax and continue to pray for my recovery. I love you all."

"This is my mother and whatever prayers and advice you can give let's get it done!"

"She had to cancel five shows and she stressed out about it, but I just wanted to have more than enough money to where she don't have to worry about the shows if she could just focus on resting and recovering because this world has already became a different place because of Kim Burrell and we want to keep it that way," he further noted. "I love you mother I hope I don't make you mad from putting up this post."

Tyrese went on to say, "There's so many of us out here that love you and let's do whatever it takes to get you back on your feet at 100%." On Friday, March 3, the 32-year-old wrote on Twitter, "Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me I ain’t make it.. There were some interesting moments at the event. One in particular was when Kodak went into full dad mode after being thrown a water bottle by someone from the crowd.

Though he continues his performance, an assistant soon brought him his belt. The "Wake Up in the Sky" emcee then asked the audience, "Now who threw that water at me?!" As he didn't get a clear answer, he stressed, "Who threw that water at me?" while smiling and laughing.

Chris Rock Calls Out Meghan Markle Over 'Racism Claims' Against Royal Family During Netflix Special
Chris Rock fired several shots during his Netflix special, Selective Outrage, including some at Meghan Markle. During the special, which aired live Saturday night, Rock called out the Duchess of Sussex over claims of racism she leveled against the royal family, particularly when it came to the color of her and Prince Harry's now three-year-old son, Archie's skin.

"Some of that sh*t she went through was not racism," Rock joked, but rather what he called "in-law sh*t."

"Sometimes it's just some in-law sh*t," Rock said of Markle. "Because she's complaining, I'm like, 'What the f**k is she talking about? 'They're so racist, they wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be...' I'm like, 'That's not racist,' cause' even Black people want to know how brown the baby gon' be. Sh*t. We check behind them ears."

Rock also argued that Markle was "acting all dumb like she didn't know nothing. Going on Oprah, 'I didn't know, I had no idea how racist they were.' It's the royal family! You didn't Google those motherf***ers? What the f**k is she talking about, she didn't know?"

"The f**k? It's the royal family, they're the original racists," he continued. "They invented colonialism. They're the OGs of racism. They're the Sugarhill Gang of racism. Like, 'a hip, hop, the hippie, the hippie to the hip hip hop-a don't stop -- the racism.'"

The segment about Markle came after Rock claimed that "everyone is trying to be the victim, including people who know g*damn well they're not victims." After mentioning the Duchess specifically, he said that she "seems like a nice lady, just complaining."

"Like, didn't she hit the light-skinned lottery," Rock asked. "And she's still going off complaining?"
Rock continued, adding that he understood Markle's "dilemma."
"Black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws," Rock said. "Oh, it's hard. It's so hard, it's very hard -- but it ain't as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her Black in-laws. Now, that sh*t is really hard."

"If you Black, and you wanna be accepted by your white in-laws, then you need to marry a Kardashian," he later continued. "Because they accept everybody. Kris Jenner is like the Statue of Liberty."
Following Saturday's special, ET has learned that Rock is taking some time off. A source tells ET that the special marked a moment for Rock to "exhale" after dealing with the fallout from being slapped by Will Smith at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony last year.

Rock celebrated the special -- which marked his first time publicly addressing the incident -- with an after party, where Dave Chapelle and the comedian's mother, Rosalie Rock, were reportedly in attendance.

"It was Chris' chance to exhale after a year of dealing with this," a source tells ET, noting that security was on high alert last night. Rock left Baltimore this morning and "plans to take at least a month off now that the special is over," the source adds.

The source also notes that Rock called Will after news of Jada Pinkett Smith's "entanglement" -- referring to the cheating rumors that bubbled up for the couple in June 2020 -- was revealed but claims Will never picked up his call.

Rock made several off-hand references to the Oscars incident Saturday, telling the audience that Will's attack on him was about him "practicing selective outrage."

"Everybody knows that had nothing to do with me. I didn't have any entanglements," he said.
"His wife was f**king her son's friend," Rock told the crowd. "Now, I normally would not talk about this shit, But for some reason, these n***as put that shit on the internet. I have no idea why two people that talented would do something that low-down."

"We've all been cheated on, none of us have ever been interviewed by the person who cheated on us," he added. "Why the f**k would you do that shit? She hurt him way more than I did... Everybody called him a bitch, and who'd he hit? Me!"

As for why he didn't fight back, Rock used that answer to deliver his final jab. "Because I got parents! Because I was raised!" he said. "And you know what my parents taught me? Don't fight in front of white people!"
Will has yet to publicly comment on the special.

Quavo And Offset Sit Separately At Hawks Game Amid Reported Fallout
Quavo and Offset are not getting back together anytime soon. The Migos members were both courtside as the Atlanta Hawks took on the Portland Trail Blazers at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Friday. However, the two noticeably sat apart and kept their distance, only fueling speculation about a fallout.

Quavo was barely recognizable in a face mask, hat, and sunglasses as he watched the Hawks defeat the Blazers, while Offset wore a black hoodie and sunglasses while seated with his son Kody.

The two had been on the outs prior to Takeoff’s death in November and have seemingly been unable to reconcile. They reportedly got in a fight backstage at last month’s Grammys shortly before Quavo took the stage to perform a tribute to Takeoff as part of the “In Memoriam” segment.

Footage appears to show Cardi B trying to break up the altercation. Following the report, Offset responded by downplaying the fight allegations. “What tf look like fighting my brother yal ni**as is crazy,” he tweeted.
Last month, Quavo dropped his Takeoff tribute track “Greatness” on which he sadly confirmed the end of Migos.

“So don’t ask about the group, he gone, we gone / Young ni**a, it can’t come back, damn,” he raps before declaring, “Never forget that the Migos amazing.”

While Offset was in ATL, his wife Cardi B joined SZA on stage during her “SOS” tour stop at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

C-Murder Says His Health Is at Risk Due to ‘Inhumane Conditions’ at Louisiana Prison
Rapper C-Murder is pointing to “inhumane conditions” he says he’s facing behind bars at a Louisiana prison, as he reveals he’s going on a hunger strike partly in protest to those conditions.

The younger brother of Master P, C-Murder — whose real name is Corey Miller — expressed in a lengthy Instagram post that his health drastically has declined as a result of prison conditions and his lack of medical treatment.
He expressed the need for a “quick strategic move.”
“Jan. 17, 2023, marked 21 years I Corey Miller have been in the Louisiana Penal system. I have been fighting for my health and freedom against this wrongful conviction and simultaneously fighting for my constitutional rights that were stripped away and violated by the penal system of Louisiana,” he wrote.

C-Murder then revealed that an appeal against Louisiana’s prison system was filed, giving the “DA & Judge of Louisiana” 30 days from Feb. 7 to respond.

The “Constantly N Danger” lyricist continued to explain that he has been on a hunger strike since Feb. 23 as a way to bring attention to the conditions of the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center.
He also informed readers about the treatment he says he and other inmates are receiving under Louisiana’s disciplinary system.

“It is imperative, NOW MORE THAN EVER, that a quick strategic move is made as my health has significantly declined due to the prison system’s inhumane conditions,” C-Murder wrote. “I am not getting proper medical treatment. This has taking a major toll on me but I refuse to give up. Please Stand with me. #STANDWITHCOREYMILLER!”
In 2009, C-Murder was found guilty of the 2002 murder of 16-year-old Steven Thomas. The underage fan was shot and killed after a brawl broke out at a now-closed nightclub in Harvey, Louisiana. The 51-year-old is currently serving a life sentence.

Throughout his time in prison, C-Murder has received a great amount of support from his former boo, singer Monica. The “Love All Over Me” vocalist has shared several photos of her visiting C-Murder behind bars.

Due to their seemingly close-knit relationship, many fans commented under The Shade Room’s reposted photo of C-Murder’s message, urging the R&B singer to help out her prison bae through his present hardship.

“MONICA make him eat NEOWWW.”
“Monica wya girl!?”
“Monica go sneak him some chicken please!”

A few fans also tagged Kim Kardashian under the post, as the aspiring lawyer has previously stated on Twitter that she was teaming up with Monica to get C-Murder’s murder conviction overturned. The entrepreneur has helped free many individuals from jail with her prison reform work.

After witnessing Monica’s loyalty to C-Murder and Kim’s willingness to help free him, Master P referred to them as his “angels” in an appreciation video in 2020.
